Suzhou China Flower and Botanical Garden, covering an area of more than a thousand acres, is located on Taiyang Road, Xiangcheng District, about 15 minutes 'drive from Suzhou North Railway Station. It is also the largest "Hundred Flowers Garden" in East China.

During the special period, many entrances and exits of the Botanical Garden have not been officially opened, but the pace of spring has not slowed down at all. The flowers in the garden do seem a little lonely at present. If they had come a month in advance to collect the scenery, it would definitely be a different scenery.

Walking along the river, the breeze blows and gives people a very lazy feeling. Some tourists in twos and threes come for walks, and some ride bicycles to take their children on an outing. As an important historical and cultural celebrity in Xiangcheng District, Feng Menglong is probably the best known to the locals. His former residence is also an outstanding representative of the new countryside that combines tourism culture. In memory of Feng Menglong, Feng Menglong's former residence, Feng Meng Memorial Hall, Feng Menglong Academy, etc. were renovated locally.

Feng Menglong is a master of Feng Geng, Huangdai Town, Xiangcheng District. He is an outstanding litterateur, thinker, and dramatist in the late Ming Dynasty. He is known as the "pioneer of ancient Chinese vernacular novels" and the "father of Chinese popular literature." In his life, he created nearly 30 million words of novels, operas and other literary works."Awakening the World and Hengyan","Warning the World and Tongyan","Yu Shi Mingyan" and "Three Words" are household names. He is not only a litterateur and dramatist, but also an honest official of a generation.

On the east side of the former residence is Feng Menglong Cultural Park. Two stone steles stand on both sides of Feng Menglong's statue. The two stone tablets weigh 800 kilograms and are from the late Ming Dynasty. The words engraved on them are vaguely recognizable-"Thousands of chapters and green trees surround the beautiful city, and a green mountain opens the city of longevity." This was a generous gift given to Feng Menglong by the people of Shouning County, Fujian during the Qing Dynasty. There is a woman's stone statue on the right side of the stone tablet that makes people curious. When you get closer, you see that it is Du Shiniang. The story of Du Shiniang angrily sinking the treasure chest is a household name, touching and shocking. Du Shiniang's death was not forced by life, but by a person of free will. It has a different meaning from most so-called tragedies. This is also the work of wisdom in life that Feng Menglong left us, and it also brings us many life lessons that are worth reflecting on and should be warned against.

It is said that only a dilapidated house was left in the former residence site, an old well that had not yet dried up and a row of straight metasequoia. Almost all of the former residences in front of us have been rebuilt. The houses, furniture, decorations, including their portraits, were all made through the villagers 'beautiful imaginations.

On the north side of the courtyard are three wings, with simple and simple furniture and a strong atmosphere of life. On the west side of the wing room, the private school of the time was modeled, and the scene of the Feng brothers reading was also created in the room. Lifelike, Feng Menglong's childhood reading scene came into view.

Although his former residence is not large, the memorial hall and academy and other buildings built according to local conditions cannot be underestimated.

Many related film and television works in the memorial hall also show Feng Menglong's life more three-dimensionally in front of people. Of course, what is more important is that all these are free and open, and among the memorial halls I have visited, they are also relatively large.

The Feng Menglong Academy, which is close to the memorial hall, has nearly 10,000 books related to Feng Menglong. It can be said to be a real place for Internet celebrities to check in. Whether it is an independent conference room, a staircase classroom around the atrium, or even a reading room with a leaping floor, design and light are perfectly integrated, and there seems to be an illusion of time traveling between the exchanges.

I went there just in time for the weather. The sunshine and the retro glass windows of the academy were in place. The soft light was overflowing. It was really full of temperament. I felt that the desire to take photos here was even higher than the purpose of borrowing books and reading. I didn't expect an academy to be designed so modern. Even a library in the city could be difficult to achieve such a scale and design. What impressed me most about this trip was this.

In fact, after coming out of the Botanical Garden, I always feel that I have some regrets. Someone in the circle of friends recommended that I can stop by and have a look at the Rose Garden. The roses in the Rose Garden are still in full bloom and are very interesting.

Covering an area of 800 acres, it is an ecological leisure garden with the theme of rose. It is also the only tourist and leisure resort in Xiangcheng District integrating islands, lakes, water, flowers, fields, gardens and forests. It is also the largest and most romantic rose themed viewing park in the Yangtze River Delta region.

It is a priority to have a supermarket around you to eat easily.

Its biggest feature is the large triangular roofs, which overlap each other generously, just like the continuous mountains along the lake, perfectly integrated with nature. together.

The entire building has a iconic aluminum strip roof. Walking inside, it feels very similar to the feeling of many traditional houses in Suzhou. Lotus Island is located in the northeast of the ancient city of Suzhou, surrounded by water on three sides. It is named because it looks like a lotus flower and is embedded in the lake. There are still more than 300 families on the island, each family living on the lake and using crabs as a business. The waters here are vast and the water quality is excellent. It is the origin of authentic Yangcheng Lake clear water hairy crabs and is known as the "Hometown of hairy crabs."

In fact, there are other legends about the name of Lotus Island. It is said that at that time, Lotus Island was actually surrounded by land, and there was a temple nearby. A lotus flower would appear at the wellhead of the temple at a certain time. When the new champion came here to take office, he felt that this lotus flower was very strange, so he began to pretend to make secret visits to find out the truth. Therefore, the top scorer used a strategy to turn the white lotus into a wisp of green smoke. It turns out that the white lotus flower was transformed by a thousand-year-old snake. Before the snake died, it rolled and struggled in front of the temple. The temple collapsed. Later, it experienced the impact of the lake water. The original land became lake water, and the land in the middle was not submerged by the lake water, so it became today's Lotus Island.

There are no factories and no cars on the island. It is a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset on Yangcheng Lake. It is said that when the good news that Qian Qian had won the first prize in the exam reached Suzhou Prefecture, local officials from Suzhou Prefecture and the three counties of Chang, Yuan and Wu built a tall archway "Sanyuan Square" specially for Qian Qian in the east of Suzhou Prefecture School. This is also the origin of the name of Sanyuan Square.
