Seeing this title, you may really think that I went to take a cruise ship. In fact, I recently went to stay in [Suzhou Zhongyin Crown Holiday] on the bank of Suzhou Jinji Lake. The whole hotel looks like a big cruise ship, and the observation room and the whole hall of french window make people feel like a trip to the sea. Today, I will share with you some of my check-in experiences

Let's first talk about the hotel location. The Suzhou Zhongyin Crown Holiday Hotel is located on the west bank of Jinji Lake, near the "Yanyu Bridge" subway station. We drove from Shanghai and can park for free upon check-in. The location of the hotel can be said to be the new center of Suzhou, which is quite convenient. It is about no more than 3 kilometers away from the old city, and it is also very close to Suzhou's new landmark, the East Gate. More importantly, outside the hotel is Jinji Lake, with a pleasant scenery!

As soon as I walked into the lobby of the hotel, I was fascinated by the blue scenery of Jinji Lake outside the landing window. It was super beautiful and looked across the lake from another landmark of Suzhou, ifc. In 2019, the hotel underwent a comprehensive renovation, as the Chinese New Year was approaching and various decorations during the Spring Festival brought a festive feeling.

Our room is a lake view room, with a panoramic view of the entire Jinji Lake. On the other side is the Suzhou Center, where you can see it from the room. I really like this room type. I can fully appreciate the natural beauty and modern style of Suzhou.

Our room has a direct view of the lake from the bathroom, and this time we have upgraded the benefits of the executive room. That is to say, during the opening hours of the executive lounge on the 8th floor, you can enjoy free lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, and more here. As it is on the 8th floor, the entire viewing experience is also excellent! The scenery of the five-star cruise suite is equipped.

Traveling in hotels not only involves enjoying the scenery and living experience, but also eating! Of course, it is also very important. This time, I came to Suzhou Zhongyin Crown Holiday Hotel and tasted many unique restaurants:

Facing Jinji Lake, the fragrant tea boat, which combines beautiful scenery and delicious food, is located in the center of the lobby. Because the lobby bar is surrounded by mooring stakes for ships, it really provides a boat riding experience.

Recently, we have launched the "New Year Afternoon Tea" here, which is full of festive atmosphere. Professional service personnel will hold mahjong shaped afternoon tea and open it in front of guests. Inside, there are mahjong, bags, firecrackers, lucky bags... Eating these will make you feel more developed! Paired with calf and New Year decorations, it is perfect for bringing the whole family to experience together. There are different combinations of sweet and salty in afternoon tea, and what surprised me were a few desserts. The taste is very light and not too sweet, suitable for the taste of Chinese people.

Located on the first floor, "Shengxi" is a self-service restaurant where we enjoy both dinner and breakfast. This restaurant is located at the bow of the entire "big boat", with a 270 degree viewing space and excellent lighting. Eating the buffet here really gives me a "dizzying" feeling. There are a lot of choices: seafood, hot pot, Japanese food, barbecue, Hong Kong style, desserts... You can really choose one table after another. Dinner will be served from 17:15. We recommend everyone to come early as there are really a lot of things to eat

The buffet breakfast is also in this restaurant, and I am worried that there may be any overlap with dinner. This concern is completely unnecessary, and the diversity of buffet breakfast has opened up another window for me. Breakfast usually ends at 10 o'clock.

Drinking cocktails and listening to live music is my favorite way to open it at night. At the Mariana bar in the lobby, there is a modern red electric piano that brings a feeling of petty bourgeoisie and laziness along with the performance of the live singer at night.

The hottest bar in Mariana recently is the Kingdom of Gins, where bartenders select 36 gin wines from around the world, paired with tonic water, various spices, and decorations, to bring us a unique and slightly tipsy world.

One reason why I particularly like the Mariana Bar is that it has an oval shaped bar counter, and the clock in the middle of the counter feels very retro. Not only for the bar itself, but also for the entire hotel, this bar counter is the finishing touch because the rooms are arranged upwards around this bar. And the decorations here are all very stylish. The old photos on the wall remind people of their travels at sea, and there are also some retro maps that remind people of sailors and old captains sailing far away.

On one side of the Mariana Bar is the Western restaurant "Boat Bar", where we enjoyed the next day's Chinese food. Although this restaurant is not large, the stove and open kitchen are indeed as authentic as the cuisine here.

Just like the restaurant waiter said, ordering here is not easy to "step on lightning". The most recommended staple food is their cod, which has a very fresh and tender texture. The combination of sour mushroom side dishes and secret sauce brings an unexpected feeling to the taste buds.

Next, I would like to talk about the deep impression and some highlights that the Crowne Plaza Suzhou Zhongyin has left on me. Firstly, I think the biggest feature is the five-star cruise style experience. Its architecture itself looks like a giant ship, and entering the hotel feels like "waiting for the ship!"; Secondly, because it is located on the bank of Golden Rooster Lake, the design of french window makes people look out of the lobby, restaurant or room as if they see the same scenery as the cruise ship; His indoor facilities, decorations, and comprehensive services also provide a wonderful experience of riding a cruise ship.

Recently, the epidemic has relapsed again. When checking in, I clearly felt that the hotel was very responsible and the inspection was very comprehensive. We require wearing masks and gloves during the pick-up process to avoid cross infection during the buffet, and I personally agree with this!

The hotel has well-equipped facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, and leisure center, providing professional facilities and services for parent-child guests.

I personally think if you can't travel long distances during the Spring Festival, coming to Suzhou by cruise is also a great experience ✌️
