June 2, 2014. I have been to Suzhou less than 30 times, the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Forest, lingering garden, Nets Garden, Tiger Hill, art garden, Canglang Pavilion, Panmen, Hanshan Temple, Xiyuan Temple and other major scenic spots have also visited, but there are more scenic spots in Suzhou, or the gap to be filled. On March 9, 2014, I also traveled to Suzhou by car. Suzhou and Shanghai are only about 100 kilometers apart, and it takes more than an hour to drive from my home in Pudong if I don't get stuck in traffic. The self-drive tour of Suzhou coincided with the Dragon Boat Festival, the whole 262 kilometers, has visited 7 national key cultural relic protection units and 1 Chinese historical and cultural street. Suzhou tourism resources are quite rich, Shanghai people run several times Suzhou, should not be bored. What's more, the delicious food in Suzhou is good, and the aftertaste of Zhu Hongxing's noodles makes me want to find an opportunity to go to Suzhou again.

Always think that Guanqian Street parking is difficult, in fact, from the Ganjiang East Road into the palace lane, the south side of Bifeng Fang has ground and underground parking, underground parking 5 yuan/hour. There are many alleys around here and many roads are one-way. Out of the parking lot to the west, you can see Zhu Hongxing, green Yang wonton and other time-honored signboards.
Zhu Hongxing Main Store, founded in the 1930s of the last century, the time-honored noodle restaurant. Zhu Hongxing's noodles are mentioned many times in Lu Wenfu's novel "Gourmet". The protagonist of the novel usually eats noodles, but does not eat non-Zhu Hongxing's noodles. Zhu Hongxing's noodles are really good, but compared with the head office, the price is higher than the branch.
When the Suzhou noodles are served, the topping is placed in a small bowl. "The topping should not be placed on the noodle bowl, but placed in another plate. When eating, I use chopsticks to just pick up into your mouth as if by a stone arch bridge..." Lu Wenfu described it in the novel.
Out of Zhu Hongxing and not far north along the palace lane is Guanqian Street, opposite the Xuanmiao View.

This house, also known as Li Geng Hall, was built by Hui merchant Pan Linzhao in the fifty-second year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1787). Unfortunately, I did not go to the time, only weekday afternoons open for Tours.

Bao Dai Bridge is very famous, but now the surrounding environment is bad, very desolate, of course, there is no need to buy tickets to visit.
The day trip ended in a hurry. Before leaving Suzhou, came to Xizhong City Zhu Hongxing to eat noodles, the price is more than the main store in Guanqian Street. Plus, this one has freshly fried noodles, and parking on the side of the road is free.
