★ Tourist location: Suzhou Tianchi·Huashan

Because it was the Golden Week of the National Day, the road conditions on the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway were a little congested. The adjustment to the city left a long red line on the map, and we backed out. So I searched for the surrounding attractions on the map and found that there was a highway floating green on the entire line. Then I saw a Tianchi Mountain nearby, which was not far from the entrance where we were already located at the Su-Tai Expressway, so I simply decided to change halfway. The so-called plan can't keep up with the changes!

After turning to the Su-Tai Expressway, the road conditions of the expressway made us feel very happy, who were suffering from traffic jams. As for the scenery of Tianchi Mountain, I think it can be called "Tianchi", it can't be that bad, right?

There are actually many places in the parking lot. It may be related to our early morning rush. Local tourists should not have arrived yet. The parking fee is 5 yuan per visit, which is unbelievable cheap in Suzhou. So we happily bought the tickets and happily stepped in the door.

The geographical location of Tianchi Mountain is a bit remote. It is located in the western suburbs of Suzhou City. The northwest slope belongs to Mudu Town, Wuzhong District, and the southeast slope belongs to Fengqiao Street, Huqiu District. However, whether it is Mudu or Fengqiao, it is more famous than Tianchi Mountain. It is estimated that tourists will be divided up by these popular attractions.

The gate of Tianchi Mountain is not grand, but it has the flavor of Suzhou's classical gardens. It reads "Tianchi Scenic Sites", and the couplet on both sides reads "There are not many famous mountains in Suzhou, but Tianchi is in good condition." It seems that Tianchi Mountain should rank among the scenic spots in Suzhou! It can only be said that Suzhou's gardens are so excellent that people inadvertently ignore the natural mountains and rivers of the ancient city of Gusu.

Walking along a mountain road in the forest, the gurgling stream on the right adds a cool feeling. At this time, I saw a map of the scenic spot on the back of the ticket. It turned out that the scenic spot was divided into two parts, namely Tianchi in the east and Huashan in the west, bounded by Lotus Peak. The full name of the scenic spot is "Tianchi·Huashan Scenic Area".

Walking to a small pond, this is Tianchi Lake, I found that there are actually many people here. Some people are discussing whether they are lucky enough to see peach blossom jellyfish today. It is said that peach blossom jellyfish lives in Tianchi Lake. Someone disagreed: "I have been here four or five times, but I have never seen a peach blossom jellyfish." I don't think we'll be so lucky to see the peach blossom jellyfish for the first time. Besides, there are quite a few tourists today. Even if there are peach blossom jellyfish, they will probably be scared and hid.

To be honest, this Tianchi Lake is really a bit sorry for its name. We don't want to compare with the Tianchi Lake in Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang or Changbai Mountain in Jilin, but at least the water quality is clearer, right? Perhaps because the appearance really can't support the name "Tianchi","Peach Blossom Jellyfish" is a big selling point.

Walking through Tianchi Lake, you will find Jijian Temple. Although I don't know what it is, the temple was built with a unique character. Once you enter the gate, you will find the heart-washing pool. It is very exquisitely built, with many corridors, bridges and pavilions. If I hadn't seen the name of the temple at the door, I would have thought it was the back garden of an ancient mansion.

Jijian Temple is famous for its three stone houses and stone halls. This is the most completely preserved Yuan Dynasty building. Except for windows, all other sections are made of stone. We were very depressed that we accidentally walked to the stone hall and missed the two stone houses, the east and west.

The architectural style of the temple is different from that of ordinary temples. It is not designed according to the rules of the central axis, which makes people feel that they are out of touch. If the wall is not painted yellow, people will believe it, not just a temple.

Behind the temple is the Lotus Pavilion, a very small stone pavilion, which is a bit like the continuation of the stone hall of Jijian Temple. However, there are not many chairs in the pavilion. This is also the entrance to the mountain. Of course, few people start to rest here.

Tianchi Mountain is really not high, but maybe I didn't sleep well last night, or I just picked up a piece of bread for breakfast. I feel that climbing the mountain is quite strenuous. Halfway through, I saw a large iron gate halfway down the road. Perhaps it used to collect tickets as two scenic spots? However, setting up a checkpoint here is actually a way to guard against gentlemen and not against villains, right? Such a big mountain, you can avoid this gate by taking a random road. It's just that the road is a little more difficult. I think many people would "evade tickets" to enter the scenic area in the past.

In fact, the so-called mountains in Jiangnan are all very different in appearance. The difference is that the famous relics here and the famous people there are not the same people. Even if they are the same people, the cliffs left behind are not the same words, and the poems written are not the same sentences.

The rock formations of Tianchi Mountain do have some characteristics. There is a steep road on the hillside. Outside the stone steps is a rock formation with a gentle slope, but there are no inscriptions on it. There may be a large number of rocks further away, so it seems that not all of them are covered with vegetation. The large number of exposed rocks actually give this mountain a difference, which is quite interesting.

Although the season is already autumn, there is no frost after all. Tianchi Mountain is not famous for its red leaves, so there are not many rich colors on the slopes, just green and yellow.

Climbing up, there is a standing rock with cliff carvings on it and gold engraved on it. However, after reading the signing, we were speechless. It seemed to be a certain company, and it was estimated that there was a lot of advertising expenses.

Climb up the rock layer along the stone steps and see a small pavilion on it. This pavilion has benches to rest on, and is called Yulan Pavilion. Not everyone could use the word "Yu" in ancient times. Could it be that another emperor visited here? After reading the introduction, it is true that Emperor Qianlong, who likes to travel in mountains and rivers, has visited this mountain more than once. Sure enough, without the blessing of celebrities, Tianchi Mountain would be difficult to become a famous mountain.

The view from the Yulanting Pavilion is very good. You can see Lotus Peak from the top, and the continuous mountain from the other side. Although Tianchi Mountain itself is not high, it still stands out from the surrounding hills.

There are many tourists on Lianhua Peak. There are several large stones on the summit, which should be natural and very eye-catching. This should be the iconic attraction of the Tianchi Huashan Scenic Area, but it may not be the reason why people stand tall. These stones are really interesting to see. I worked hard to climb up, but I had to continue to climb up the big stone to see the scenery no matter what. So the young and old all struggled to climb to the top of the stone and stood at the commanding heights of Tianchi Mountain to see the mountains.

This area is considered to be an area with relatively concentrated mountains in Suzhou. In addition to Tianchi and Huashan, there is also Tianping Mountain, which is famous for its red leaves. Kulong Mountain and Dayang Mountain are not far away. So looking at the peaks in the distance, although they don't seem too high, it still makes me express my thoughts.

Going down the mountain is the scope of Huashan Scenic Area, but no one checked the tickets. It is estimated that the two scenic spots have merged into each other. There is also a temple here in Huashan. We ate a bowl of vegetarian noodles. The taste was only average, but at least we could fill up. There are many cliff stone carvings in Huashan Scenic Area, most of which are related to Buddhism.

From here is the gate of Huashan, but the problem is that there is no bus from Huashan to Tianchi Mountain. If you don't want to climb the mountain, the distance is actually more than ten kilometers? We stepped out of the threshold with both feet, stood blankly at the door for a moment, but still chose to return the same way. Fortunately, we didn't leave the gate. We just inquired for information, and the ticket inspector didn't ask us to buy tickets again.

Since ancient times, there have been few famous mountains in Suzhou, and the lotus flowers on the summit are not afraid of difficulties.

Smoke and clouds appear on the bottom of the water, and the green and green valleys are full of color.
