★ Tourist location: Suzhou Changshu Museum
Among cultural relics, my favorite ones are porcelain and jade, because they are more exquisite than other objects. Well, I am such a superficial person who judges appearance.
Changshu is only a county-level city after all, and we don't have much expectations for jade. However, there are still a few high-quality items.
The white jade dragon head combs of the Ming Dynasty are very exquisite. The dragon heads are carved vividly, and the jade comb looks very harmonious as a whole. The white jade bracelet next to it doesn't seem very round, but the jade is relatively fragile and should not be able to bend freely, right?
I have always liked jade hairpins and always felt that only jade hairpins can express the style of ancient ladies. Things like gold hairpins and silver hairpins, although they are also hairpins, they always seem to be missing something. In ancient times, beautiful women had many hairpins, and they had to put them on the day they came to adulthood. The white jade open-carved jade hairpin with bird plum pattern in the Ming Dynasty is exquisite, while the white jade Ruyi hairpin from the Qing Dynasty expresses beautiful wishes.
Women use hairpins and men use crowns. Compared with the shape of a hairpin, a man's crown is much simpler. Although it also has a decorative effect, it also has the function of binding hair. Although the white jade hair crowns and jasper hair crowns of the Ming Dynasty look good in jade quality, the shape is very simple
The ornaments are much more complex, most of them have extremely exquisite carvings, and the entire jade ornaments are carved with patterns. For example, the white jade chrysanthemum-shaped decoration of the Ming Dynasty was carved into the shape of a chrysanthemum, and the patterns of its petals were clearly visible. Other ornaments such as H-shaped signs, Pisces ornaments, Jade Lock ornaments, Ganoderma lucidum three animal ornaments, Double Dragon pattern buckles, Open carved flower and bird pattern round ornaments, etc. are all very exquisite.
There is also a Qing Dynasty jade plate carved with a pattern of Su Wu sheep herding. The white jade quality and simple lines condense a historical story into a small jade card.
The decorations of the Qing Dynasty not only had wider themes, but also used a large amount of jade as materials, such as glass green open-carved magpie plum pictures, green carved bird signs, etc.
The Qing Dynasty established the country based on martial arts. In the Qing Dynasty operas we watched, the princes were all all-rounder talents in civil and military affairs. Moving fingers is indispensable to drawing bows and arrows, so moving fingers in the Qing Dynasty were all very meticulous. After all, this is equivalent to an accessory for everyone. Materials include jade and jade, patterns include pine and crane patterns, horse seal patterns, etc., and there are even articles carved in the inner circle. Although there are not many words in an inscription, how big is a finger?
The exquisiteness of the emerald carved seven-string violin is even more amazing. The small jade material is carved into the shape of a guqin. The white background is dyed with a little emerald color. Although this piano cannot be played, it is still valuable.
The jade carvings are also very small and exquisite. Most jade is not very big, so the carved little beasts look particularly exquisite. Of course, there are also larger jade materials to carve the feeling of landscape painting.
There are many types of containers, including cups, bowls, plates and saucers, as well as vases, tripods... Of course, tripods cannot be made as big as bronzes, but the capacity in one hand makes them more exquisite and lovely.
The blue jade seven-star gui is clearly made of white jade, but the so-called blue jade only shows a little ink mark on the corners of the gui. I don't know if the blue color has faded or if the sapphire is originally this color. Looking at the dynasty, it was the Ming Dynasty. The history is not too long ago. Jade articles should not be so unreasonable.
There are also many types of buckles and hooks, including nephrite and jade. Most of the patterns are dragon head and dragon patterns, as well as mantis and sheep head shapes. However, I personally think that the dragon head and dragon pattern are the most beautiful and exquisite in craftsmanship.
Compared with the jade articles of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the jade articles of the Song Dynasty are slightly rough. Although animal carvings were also available in the Song Dynasty, the lines were relatively simple and the carvings were not so complicated.
The jade styles and carvings of the Han Dynasty were even simpler, but there was a gold-plated jade belt hook, which was still very exquisite. It turns out that in the Han Dynasty, the technology of inlaid with gold and jade was already available!
There are also many jade articles of Liangzhu Culture in the exhibition hall, and their exquisiteness certainly cannot be compared with that of later generations. But thinking of the era in which the ancestors lived, the craftsmanship of these jade articles is already unbelievable.
Like a double dragon pattern ring decoration, two dragons are carved on a small jade piece. This process seems to be achieved for a long time. The carving work of the Han Dynasty may not be as exquisite as this jade piece.
There are not many jade articles in Songzewen. They are all small pieces. They don't look like they were produced in such a long time. In future generations, they can be regarded as high-quality ones.
In the back building, there is also an exhibition of Mongolian cultural relics. This exhibition hall may be a temporary exhibition hall. Looking at the introduction, it seems that most of them are exhibits from Hulunbuir.
Compared with the cultural relics in Jiangnan, the cultural relics and utensils of the grassland people seem rough. For example, a milk bucket with a lid is not a cup, a bowl, or a plate, but a large bucket! Like milk pots and teapots, they are not lightweight. Even spoons are two sizes larger in Jiangnan.
However, the table is not big. The wood is probably heavy. In addition, the space in the yurt is limited, so the table is much smaller than the one in Jiangnan. What's more, the Mongolians are nomadic people. They often have to move and graze, and furniture that is too big is not easy to move.
Compared with bronzes, silverware looks more elegant. Although the silver bowl is several times larger than the Jiangnan bowl. However, the milk bucket looks much more exquisite and is also carved with exquisite patterns.
The seasoning box is very pocket, and even feels a little smaller than the seasoning tank I use now. The full set of pure silver has been oxidized to a black layer.
The mold of milk tofu is very exquisite, engraved with various patterns. Judging from the mold, the milk tofu is much more exquisite than our tofu. After all, our tofu is just cut into square pieces.
The grassland people do not wear various exquisite ornaments like the Han people. Their standard standard is not hair crowns or finger shifting, but Mongolian knives. Qin was a nation on horseback, and the Mongolian knives were very exquisitely made.
Snuff may be something suitable for both north and south. Mongolian snuff bottles are also very exquisite. They do not look like they were produced by grassland peoples, but rather like they were traded from the Central Plains.
The most are all kinds of equipment for horses. As a plain people, other than stirrups, saddles, riding boots... other equipment are really unrecognizable. There are several types of saddles alone, and their materials are also many, from wood to iron to gilded. It is estimated that the ancient grassland ethnic hierarchy was also very strict.
Mongolian medicine's medicinal equipment are all kinds of spoons? I can't think of what else they can do except measuring medicine, but they have many shapes, and the handles should also have other uses.
The grassland people also have fun in life. They carved many animals out of wood, some of which were inlaid with silver. Even chess pieces are carved into various shapes. Generals are really generals, handsome and handsome, cars are cars, and horses are really horses. They are all carved out of wood, and they look very touching when held, or at least very heavy.
Mongolians also believe in Buddhism. When I saw the Thangka in the cultural relics, I was a little puzzled. Could it be that the ancients in Tibet also believed in Tibetan Buddhism?
In exhibition hall D2, there are also paper-cuts on display. I originally thought that the art of paper-cutting was to cut out shapes with red paper, but I didn't expect that paper-cutting could cut out vivid and interesting paintings.
Well, I can only say that ignorance limited my imagination. I thought that paper-cutting was a window grilles posted on the windows. No matter how complicated it was, it would still be red. But in fact, as long as you cut paper, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, which color cannot be used? Therefore, it is not uncommon for colored paper-cuts to appear.
Appreciating the window grilles one by one, I can only sigh that they are really skillful.
