I have a special liking for lotus flowers since I was a child.

My boyhood was spent in the lotus flowers in the old city of Fenghua.

There was originally a lotus pond at the end of the alley, but it was filled for some unknown reason. When I lived here, there was only a small pool.

One or two lotus leaves appear every summer, but flowers have never been seen.

Living in Lotus Lane, but not seeing any lotus flowers, made me sad for a long time.
