★ Tourist location: Baoyan Scenic Area, Changshu, Suzhou

I know Baoyan because of the Yangmei Festival in Changshu. But we couldn't wait for the Yangmei Festival, so we still took advantage of the warm spring season to set off.

Baoyan is located in Baoyan Bay at the southern foot of Yushan Mountain. It is close to a lake and a mountain. You can enter from Shidong or Baoyan. There is a large parking lot at the entrance or you can park it in a nearby small parking lot. It is free there. There are not many tourists in Baoyan in early spring, and it seems a little deserted. Every year in June and July, there is a custom of "looking at bayberry and going to Baoyan" that has been formed for more than 900 years. At that time, it is really crowded with tourists.

The full name of the scenic spot is Baoyan Ecological Sightseeing Park, which covers an area of 200 hectares. There are 280 acres of forest intercropping tea fields, 180 acres of sightseeing bamboo seas, as well as forest and plant ecological areas such as bayberry variety garden and fruit tree boutique garden. Because of the rich vegetation, the air in the scenic area is naturally very fresh and has an extremely high content of negative oxygen ions. It is a natural oxygen bar. The most famous of them is naturally Baoyan Yangmei, which has a history of more than 900 years.

There is a lake on the right side of the gate. It is not very big, but it has pavilions and pavilions built. Coupled with the wooden cabin in the water, it seems that he has accidentally entered a place where an expert lives in seclusion. I walked a short circle along the lake. There was a low slope next to it and scattered stones, which was very wild. There is a wooden plank road by the lake that leads to the black wooden house in the lake. However, the wooden house is not open. If you cook tea and drink alcohol in it, it will be like a fairy enjoyment.

There are several white plum trees on the bank, which have fully demonstrated their charm. The trees are full of flowers. Although they appear a little dense due to neglect of pruning, white itself is not a conspicuous color. It is also very beautiful when the branches are full of flowers.

Walking back to the main road, you will see the Yushan Ecological Science Museum on the left. Walking in, you will see many stone-planted bonsais. However, because it has not sprouted yet, most of the bonsai branches and leaves have not yet grown, so we can only see the branches and stones. These stones are very beautiful in shape, so the green plants are just embellishments.

Walking outdoors, you will find more bonsais here. Although new shoots have not yet emerged, there are still many bonsais made of evergreen shrubs, which are full of greenery.

Bonsai is a microcosm of natural scenery. Although it artificially changes the laws of plant growth, it is sought after by people because of its exquisite craftsmanship. Put a pot on your desk and enjoy leisure after work and study. Yushan bonsai has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of Su School bonsai. Its history can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. Villagers in Xingfu Village and Huayuan Village at the foot of Yushan Mountain specialize in the production and sales of flowers and trees bonsais. Zhu Zi 'an and Yin Zimin's fathers, Master Zhu and Yin Xianglin, who were among the top ten famous bonsai artists in New China, were well-known local bonsai artists in modern times. Yushan bonsai is mainly made of various types of exquisite stump bonsai. The tree species include sparrow plum, boxwood, podocarpa pine, five-needle pine, triangular amaranth, and stealtree. The traditional shape has six sets, three supports and one roof. The so-called "six platforms" refer to six sector-shaped leaves growing each other on the left and right sides of the upright and slightly curved trunk. Three more blades extend backward between every two blades, which is called "three supports". Cut and tie the top branches and leaves into a top cover, which is called "Yijieding". This shaped blade is symmetrical, stable and solemn, and is quite difficult to make, and takes a long time to form a complete shape. However, in recent years, I have preferred natural-style landscape shapes. The leaves of this bonsai are not limited by six stands, three supports and one roof. Because of the tree shape, it is flexible and changeable, making the shape more natural and more natural. Water and stone bonsai is more authentic to natural mountains and rivers. Since the 1980s, water and stone bonsai in Yushan Forest Farm has also developed greatly.

Next to the Bonsai Garden is the real science museum, but this museum is very strange and should be especially popular with children. The museum uses the 1188th upstream locomotive manufactured by Tangshan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Factory. The museum displays national-level protected animal specimens such as peacocks and golden leopards. In fact, there are not many specimens, but the pictures displayed on the carriage are very detailed. Starting from the origin of life, tourists walk along the carriage, pursuing the footsteps of life and mankind, as if time had also frozen here. Yes, and this carriage is a tunnel of time.

There are more specimens in the "Animal Kingdom" and they are displayed in glass windows, but there are no precious varieties. They are all more common varieties in the animal kingdom.

The anti-corrosion and moth-prevention treatment of plant and insect specimens is not very good. The wings of some specimens have been corroded, which affects the integrity of the specimens. In this regard, my friend is very proud: "The files I made are better preserved than this one."

Of course, my favorite is butterfly specimens, but for us who are frequent visitors to the Insect Museum and Natural History Museum, the butterfly punctuation here is really not enough. But because it was early, we patiently walked from the beginning to the end. Shuttling through the carriage is quite interesting in itself.

The form of this exhibition is very unique, and the locomotive itself is of great historical significance. The following is a description of the origin and evolution of life, as well as pictures of natural disasters caused by ecological degradation that harm mankind.

Floods are the most common phenomenon. Its inducing factors are extremely wide. Flood, storms, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, etc. can all cause floods, and even man-made floods can cause floods. Among various natural disasters, floods kill 75% of the population.

A tornado is a strong wind vortex accompanied by a high-speed rotating funnel-shaped cloud column caused by the strong convective movement of two streams of air in extremely unstable weather conditions. Its influence range is small and its duration is not long. It is usually only a few minutes, and the longest is only tens of minutes. However, it is extremely destructive and occurs in summer thunderstorms.

Debris flow is a torrent formed by heavy rain and floods that saturate and dilute soft soil mountains containing sand and sand. Its area, volume and flow are large. It bursts suddenly and comes with fierce momentum. It can carry huge stones and move forward at high speed. It has strong energy and is extremely destructive.

Earthquakes are vibrations caused by the propagation of elastic waves in rock formations close to the surface of the earth. They were called earthquakes in ancient times and are a natural disaster that often occurs on the earth. Strong earthquakes that occur on the seabed or coastal areas can cause huge waves and are called tsunamis.

Walking out of the Science Museum, you will be next to the Yushan Botanical Garden. This is a large area of the scenic area with a forest coverage rate of 95%. There is a red bayberry garden in the Botanical Garden. Now we can only look at the leaves and see how big the scale is. Tea gardens, grown on hillsides and acidic, are the production base of green tea. Yushan green tea has a good reputation. It intercrops metasequoia and fruit trees, and picks tender buds every year from Qingming Festival to grain rain. The sword hair, tea hair, and needle hair are more precious, and it is known as the three black eyes. There is also a sweet gum garden next to the bamboo forest, where Cyclobalanopsis and sweet gum are planted, as well as camphor trees and masson pine. It is said that in autumn, the leaves of the maple leaf are dyed red red, which is very beautiful.

The tea garden here is planted with Haofeng. This kind of tea has a clear, fresh and lasting aroma. The soup color is green and bright, and the leaf base is tender and bright. It smells fragrant. The soup color is apricot yellow and the taste is mellow. Next to it is Biluochun. This kind of tea is really famous. Yushan is not famous for its Biluochun, so the scale of planting is not very large.

Across the tea garden, we saw a beautiful red spot at the end of the tea garden. Suddenly, our eyes lit up: "It must be plum blossoms, let's go!"

Of course it is plum blossoms, and this plum garden is bigger than what we saw in the distance. I suddenly felt that even if Baoyan had no other attractions, it would be worthwhile today.

Poetry to remember:

The stars lead to the Fuhai to the secluded path, and the famous spring in the cave blows with the clear water.

The sword is rugged and fearless, and half of the tourists are Mei Qing.
