★ Tourist location: Suzhou Hanshan Temple

I thought that Hanshan Temple would not have many tourists in heavy rain. Unexpectedly, as soon as I walked in, I was shocked by the people gathered at the door. I could only comfort myself that there might be a group of tourists who happened to meet me entering the door with me. However, my later experiences in each hall completely confused me. Does Hanshan Temple really have such a large passenger flow? Although Hanshan Temple is indeed quite famous due to the famous line "Moored at Night at Maple Bridge","Hanshan Temple outside Gusu City, the bell reaches the passenger ship at midnight", it is not so famous that people can visit it in the rain, right? What's more, today is not a weekend or holiday. Finally, he couldn't help but ask the staff nearby and realized that today was the first day of the first day. For Buddhist practitioners, this was the day when they came to the Buddhist temple to pay incense.

This time I entered from Pumin Tower Courtyard. Since it is famous for its bells, there is also a copper bell placed at the entrance of the Tower Courtyard. Because it looks new, I have never noticed it before. This time, it was bright in the rain. Only then did I realize that it was very exquisitely cast. In a few years, if you are infected with snow, rain, wind and frost, it will probably give people a sense of historical heaviness.

The four great kings of gold all over the mountain gate still made me take a few more looks. When I walked into the courtyard, I saw cigarettes lingering around. On both sides are the Hall of Great Compassion and Arhat Hall. The Hall of Great Compassion worships Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the Hall of Arhats worships five hundred Arhats. Guanyin stood on the lotus platform, wearing a bright yellow cloak and holding a clean bottle with the words "Cihang Pudu" on it. Arhats are not shaped according to the proportion of statues in some Arhat halls. The Arhats here are all gold plated and are shaped relatively small.

Daxiong Hall is the main hall of the temple, behind which is another famous hall of Hanshan Temple-Hanshi Hall. There is a corridor connecting the two halls, and a pavilion next to it.

Hanshi Hall is dedicated to two eminent monks, Hanshan and Shide. Speaking of which, these two eminent monks of the Tang Dynasty experienced a love triangle, helped each other but eventually converted to Buddhism. The two eminent monks are also golden statues. Speaking of which, almost all the Bodhisattva in Hanshan Temple have golden statues. However, the two eminent monks are not as majestic and solemn as other Bodhisattva, but have the attitude of laughing and scolding like Lord Ji and look very friendly.

The Puming Pagoda is the tallest building in Hanshan Temple. The ground floor is dedicated to a Bodhisattva on all sides. Of course, it also adheres to the consistent style of Hanshan Temple and is all golden statues.

There is a Guanyin Peak behind the hall. Of course, it is not a real mountain peak, but just a big stone like a peak. I don't know if it is Taihu Lake stone, but the color does not seem to be so white and the texture is not so delicate.

The back hall is being repaired and the scaffolding is high, but you can still see the stele corridor. It's just that I really don't know how to type Zen Ji, so I can only look at the font and it's almost fine.

Continue walking back and go out through the side door. There is also a small courtyard here. Although it is not big, there is nothing lacking in pavilions and pavilions.

The bell tower of Hanshan Temple is very famous. After all, the sound of people's bells in the middle of the night can be transmitted to passenger ships. Since 1979, Hanshan Temple has held the "Hanshan Temple New Year Bell Listening Activity" every year. The abbot personally rings the 108 bells to send away worries and welcome blessings and blessings in the auspicious New Year bell.

There is also a stele house next to it. In fact, there are stele carvings in the promenades on both sides. However, the more than ten square stele carvings collected in this stele house are all very precious. The stele room was built in the thirty-second year of Guangxu. It faces west to east, with an area of more than 60 square meters. It displays inscriptions from past dynasties since the Song and Ming Dynasties, including handwritten works by Yue Fei, Tang Yin, Kang Youwei, Yu Yue, Liu Haisu, etc.

The inscriptions for the reconstruction of Hanshan Temple are housed in glass cabinets and seem to have been around for some years. In other words, the renovation of Hanshan Temple is not a modern matter.

The small garden of Hanshan Temple is very quiet. There are probably few cultural relics left here. In addition, the pilgrims who pay incense will not come here. Small bridges, running water, and pavilions have everything. Several lotus bushes have already bloomed, but they still support the leaves out of the water, looking forward to welcome the nourishment of the rain and dew.

However, you can still see the relics of Hanshi everywhere here. Even if you can't see them for a while, the word Hanshi will be engraved on the stone as a reminder. The concept of harmony is the essence of the Chinese nation's culture. These two words are found in oracle bone inscriptions and bronze inscriptions. The meaning itself means harmony, peace, detailed harmony, combined with cooperation and integration. Hanshan Temple is the ancestral home of Harmony Culture, and Saishang Hall, which honors the two saints of Harmony, is also one of the main halls of Hanshan Temple.

There is a summer medicine wrapped in tea at the door, so you can take yourself for free. At this time, I was a little annoyed that I didn't bring a cup, otherwise I could relieve the heat. Although it was raining heavily today, it didn't seem too hot.

When I left the temple, my trousers were all wet from my knees down. Looking back, I saw that there were still many tourists queuing up at the entrance. Hanshan Temple is truly a famous temple in Suzhou. Even Xiyuan does not seem to have such a large passenger flow.

The drizzle drifts and the mind is shallow, and the world has a century-old body.

The chime of the bell reflects the Maple Bridge far away, and the fragrance of Xu Shichen is ten miles away.
