Wentu/Ying Zhigang

Yinshanhu Art Museum is holding the "Poetic Jiangnan-Theme Art Exhibition". More than 100 oil paintings and meticulous brushwork works are carefully arranged in the exhibition halls on the first and third floors.

Artists from all over the world gathered here across time and space. They told, portrayed and expressed only two words: Jiangnan.

Jiangnan is ancient and mysterious, but Jiangnan has never been aggressive.

Jiangnan in every work is a story, warm and soft. You feel like you are plunging into a spider web of sticky rain alley, or watching the ancient time flowing through the withered door panels, mottled powder walls, covered with moss, hear the sound of rain flowing and the sound of pine trees growing.

I stopped for a long time in front of painter Wang Panpan's work "My Spiritual Home".

This painting seemed to have a kind of magic power, sucking me into a long alley. Standing in the narrow alley, the houses on both sides at the end seemed to squeeze together.

An ancient waterway winds along the alley.

The ancient black tiles and white walls reflected on the water leave the texture of film.

The fishing boat is moored by the bridge, and the oars stir up the still time, and the ripples overflow, as if those susceptible feelings are gently guarding the old dream of Jiangnan.

When I saw the work "Quiet Hidden" by Suzhou painter Zhou Huaming, I thought at the time that he must have been to Taihu Fishing Village.

I posted his paintings on my circle of friends, which brought back memories of many people.

I still remember that hazy evening. The lake was red by the sunset, reflecting the silhouettes of fishing boats.

Each tall mast is a string, playing beautiful melodies under the plucking of the lake, forming an extremely rich sonata.

As the sky gradually darkened, fishing lanterns were lit up on the fishing boat, and piles of fishing fires were set up on the shore. The world was shrouded in misty water vapor, and we were in a trance walking into the Gusu night of a thousand years ago when the moon set, the sky was full of darkness and the sky was full of frost. Jiang Feng's fishing fire was facing sorrow."

How many times have I ridden a small boat in my dreams and walked down the river into the poetic Jiangnan, just to find a spring rain of apricot flowers and a moonlight in the courtyard.

In my dream, the lover of the old world, beautiful and elegant, walked towards me from the end of the ancient rain alley.

Her flowing skirt blew across the sticky brick wall. She was immersed in the poems of apricot blossoms and misty rain, and moved gently. When I turned sideways, she looked like a misty deer.

Her hair, in the breeze in the alley, is like jasmine in full bloom and lilacs blooming, gently stirring my feelings.

This is the work "Jiawei" by Pang Maokun, vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Association and president of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, which gives me the softest touch.

Life, soaked by time, carries the charm of Jiangnan, from spring to summer, from flowers to bloom and fall. In the turbulent years, the spring breeze has entered dreams and the bright moon has entered my arms.

Watching the "Poetic Jiangnan-Thematic Art Exhibition" gives the viewer the emotion that is not the galloping and sand-filled battlefield of Mobei, nor the lonely Great Wall of the Qin Dynasty with the bright moon and the Han Dynasty, but the indifference attributed to the passage of thousands of sails.

This is Jiangnan, the poetic Jiangnan.

Jiangnan is like a dream, but only Jiangnan's dream will gently fall into everyone's heart.

"Poetic Jiangnan-Thematic Art Exhibition" aims to use "Jiangnan" as a bridge for the convergence and communication of culture and spirit. The meaning and emotion reflected in the works on display emphasize the aesthetic lyricism and spiritual style, which implicitly conforms to the Jiangnan region. Cultural character and aesthetic psychology. The exhibition is presented from a poetic dual viewing perspective, starting from the landscape in the eyes of artists in Jiangnan and Jiangnan in the eyes of artists in other regions, focusing on embodying the poetic spirit of Jiangnan culture. The 107 works of art on display jointly respond to the cultural theme of "Poetic Jiangnan" from four aspects: distant mountains and valleys, simple morale, non-objects, and elegant interest in leisure, expressing the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan, telling stories of Jiangnan, and shaping Jiangnan spirit.
