★ Tourist location: Taicang Garden Villa

Garden Garden Villa is built in Taoyuan Village, Liuhe Town, Taicang City. It was built with an investment of 150 million yuan by private entrepreneurs and covers an area of 700 acres. The more famous one is the Peony Garden, which covers an area of hundreds of acres and collects precious varieties at home and abroad. Therefore, it is also called the "Jiangnan Peony Garden", which features peonies.

So, we were a little depressed after walking into the garden. Obviously, we were here in the wrong season. Garden garden, as the name suggests, means that there is a garden among flowers and a garden in the garden. But the problem is that we chose a cold winter season?

However, since you have come, you should take it easy. Since you are at the site, there is no reason not to go in and take a stroll. At the very least, you can check out the way so that you can get familiar with the road next time!

The road from the gate to the water is a bit long, and the willow branches in winter always seem a little dejected and devoid of energy at all. However, if you were a little further away, you would still feel a faint green. In December in the south of the Yangtze River, all the willow leaves have not yet left the branches.

There is a corridor by the river, and at the corner is a second-floor attic. Because the color is still black, it looks very dignified. Unfortunately, we couldn't walk through it. We didn't know if these corridors were casual cafes or something.

Walking past, there is a pond decorated with dead lotus flowers. Although there are no lotus pavilions standing there, these dead leaves are spread on the water, which adds a bit of poetry to the monotonous scenery. No wonder Lin Daiyu tried her best to prevent Jia Baoyu from having the withered lotus sorted out and leaving them behind, so that the pond seemed less monotonous.

The green on the grassland also seems a little withered. After all, cold winter has arrived, and the grass is working hard to accumulate energy and prepare to blow the south bank of the Yangtze River in the spring breeze next spring.

A small wooden bridge is built on the exhausted river. Jiangnan is relatively arid in winter. The woods in the distance are neatly arranged, but only clean branches are left. By summer, this place should develop rich greenery.

The water-friendly platform by the lake is probably prepared for fishing enthusiasts. Put a portable chair here and you can spend half a day leisurely. It would be even more satisfying if the bucket could hold a few carp.

There are not only bare trees along the river, but also evergreen trees. In this way, the green is less green, but it looks fresh and natural. It was obviously cold winter, but I tasted a little bit of early spring. Winter is here, can spring be far behind?

Finally, we arrived at Chunjin Garden, the center of the villa, also known as Peony Garden. The peony planting area here is actually not as good as Changshu Shanghu, but it should be regarded as the leading peony viewing site in Taicang, right?

In winter, the garden looks a bit desolate and there are few tourists. It is said that in the spring, a 30 yuan ticket is charged, and in the winter, it is free, mainly because there is nothing to see.

Although many fragrant flower plants are planted in the vanilla planting area, such as thyme, rosemary, mint, sage, lavender, verbena... the point is that these plants either only leave roots or only have thin bodies. Without the instructions from the side, we would not be able to recognize the real body at all.

However, several citrus trees were fruitful. We looked up at the yellow fruits. Just as we thought of picking one to taste, we saw a lot of citrus trees falling on the ground. I found a slightly shorter small tree and shook it, but one was actually shaken down. It was like a treasure and the three of them shared the food. Although it looks ripe, the taste is not good. However, my friends praised "quenching thirst" because it was a bit sour. Looking up at the tempting fruits on the branches, his friend tried to climb up the branches, but he really picked one. When he got down to the ground, we realized that his jacket had a long cut.

"The price for this citrus is a bit high." I said funny.

"It doesn't matter, I can still wear it." Holding the fruit of victory, my friend didn't mind at all that he had to go home in tattered clothes.

There are still flowers in the garden, and the camellia blossoms are in full bloom. There was only a small winter rain two days ago, and petals fell all over the ground.

There is a pavilion at the top of the slope, so we rested here for a little. Looking down from here, you can see a group of small garden scenes. The wonderful thing is that the rocks are dotted, and the leaves show many colors, from light green to bright red, and yellow is dotted among them. It is simply a natural oil painting!

There is a four-story pavilion next to the Peony Garden. The overall building is hexagonal. I don't know what it is for. The black eaves, vermilion railings, gold window frames, and dark walls give a very atmospheric feeling.

Listen to the introduction that there is also a tree carving work of the King of Thousands of Monkeys in the villa. It is divided into five chapters and has been applied for the Guinness Book of Records. Unfortunately, the Root Carving Hall is not open, and we couldn't feast our eyes.

Although the villa was very deserted, we visited the entire garden and only met two groups of tourists. However, the scenery along the water's edge is still very beautiful. It is said that the water here is the flowing water of the Yangtze River, and there are wild grass carp, carp, crucian carp, and bream in nearly 100 acres of water for tourists to fish.

However, this kind of elegant and interesting thing should also be suitable when the flowers bloom in warm spring. Drinking fragrant tea, admiring national flowers, fishing by the pool... It's beautiful to think about it.
