Get used to a busy life, how long has it been since you stopped? This is my third time to visit Lili Ancient Town. It is beautiful and graceful. Compared with other surrounding ancient towns, this place is a bit more clean. Make an appointment with a good friend and drive from Shanghai. Shanghai is very close to Suzhou, and we reach our destination in two hours. Escape from the bustling and busy city of Shanghai and take a trip that you want to go.

Every time I went to the ancient town before, I always went back and forth on the same day. This time I chose to stay at Shuian Hanshe Boutique Hotel. I want to stay and rest in the ancient town for two nights to experience the slow life of the ancient town. The room I stayed in was about 3 to 5 minutes 'walk from the hotel. The hotel housekeeper was very considerate and would help carry luggage to the room.

Staying at the hotel was very special, walking in through a long alley. There are sensor lights in the alley. It was a bit novel, it was a very special experience.

The buildings of Shuian Hanshe are antique, simple, and decorated very modern. It has a unique flavor. I learned about the history of Xiashuian Hanshe architecture. Most of the buildings here are from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The former old house, because of its humble house on the water bank, now has a new look and an antique look.

There is still a house in Shuian Hanshe that needs to be renovated. After visiting the old house before decoration, I am very moved. Things change. What stories have happened here? What kind of families have lived here? How many ups and downs has this house experienced? If there were no Shuian Hanshe, this might be an abandoned old house in disrepair. No one would notice that this building from the Ming and Qing Dynasties has exquisite window carvings and doorlintels. No one will set foot in this old house, which has experienced many spring, summer, autumn and winter. This is also a cultural inheritance. Sometimes I feel that a hotel is not just a hotel, but also a continuation of traditional culture.

I grew up in the south and have never lived in a house like Jiangnan Water Town. There are Nanfengjia Lane Tuoyuan, Wangjia Lane Tuoyuan, Zhongxin Street Tuoyuan, etc. You can choose to live in a single-family house, or you can choose to live in a standard room and open the window to face your friends. I like to be in the house and feel the grass, trees, bricks and tiles here! It seems that I have forgotten all the unhappiness in life, and my heart is temporarily resting here. For me, this is a place where I can temporarily empty myself!

Shuian Hanshe is located in Lili Ancient Town, located in Wujiang District, Suzhou City. Lili, named Lichuan, Lihuali, also known as Xi. Wake up in the morning in the Qingjing Ancient Town and enjoy the wontons that my aunt had just made in the hotel. People who come to the ancient town like to eat a bowl of wontons here, which is light and delicious. I am a person who pays attention to breakfast. The breakfast in the hotel is not the same. There are shrimp noodles made of shrimp that I just bought at the market. There are porridge, milk, juice, various small dishes, and fruits. Very well prepared.

I like Aunt Luo very much. She is a local in the small town and has worked in the hotel for many years. She always smiles and is very kind. She said that she likes working here very much and meeting different guests, and most of the guests who stay here are of good quality. She always treats every customer with a smile. The manager of Shuian Hanzhu is also very kind, always very kind, taking care of every guest in a timely manner. The housekeeper in the store would also nod and say hello to customers when meeting them, which was very polite.

I found a window seat in the restaurant and enjoyed the scenery of the ancient town. The breeze touches my face, and time seems to have stopped here. Everything is just right. It is rare for people who have lived in the city for a long time to find such a quiet place.

Stayed in the ancient town for three days and had lunch and dinner in the hotel. I like the taste of the food here very much. I feel healthy when I eat. I miss it when I leave. The green vegetables here are purchased at the local market and are fresh and delicious. My favorite dish is eel dates. The craftsmanship was very good, and everyone ate it as soon as they arrived. Every time the aunt walks in with a burden and vegetables. Eating around the round table feels like another home. Sitting and eating with friends is very warm.

The ancient town has many long alleys, many stone bridges with a sense of historical times, and several famous attractions: Liu Yazi's Former Residence, Duanmu Garden, Zhou Gong Fu Temple, Lixuan Academy, etc.

There is also a nearby Liuyue Museum that is highly recommended. The museum is very big, and your feet will feel sore after walking for a long time. The large-scale folk customs museum belonging to Lili Ancient Town was founded by an American named Du Weiming. Because of his love for ancient Chinese objects, Mr. Du spent decades collecting tens of thousands of old objects. He really lamented his persistence and resilience!

Liuyue Museum has more than 30 different types of exhibition galleries and more than 40,000 works of art. Shenshen sedan chair hall, lacquer painting hall, window lattice hall, screen hall, bookcase hall, ancient stage hall, etc. All the items here can be touched. The concept of the exhibition hall is to let you feel the ancient historical items, touch the texture of these old objects, and feel them from a real distance. After wandering in the exhibition hall for about 2 hours, it was a feast for the eyes.

After staying in Guzhen for three days, I drove back to Shanghai with my best friend. I reluctantly left the ancient town. Meet a place you like, come on a trip that you want to go, everything is just right, neither sooner nor later! The cleanliness and softness here, the antique color here, are places where you will miss when you calm down when you are busy.
