★ Tourist location: Suzhou Baimajian·Longchi Scenic Area Longchi

Follow the path by the lake to the right and first pass Fengtan. Relatively speaking, Fengtan is smaller than Longchi. The terrain is between Longchi and Baimajian, which can be regarded as a connecting link between the past and the next. Longchi and Fengtan, these two names are really interesting. Even if there are only seven points of scenery, they have suddenly increased by two points because of these names. To the east of Fengtan is the Yungu Waterfall, and the scenic spot at the west end is the Jiuqu Drunken Moon. I really don't see any charm in broad daylight.

When we arrived at the Dragon Pool, we chose to climb the mountain. The hillside next to it is not high, and the rocks on the mountain are jagged. There is a family of three with a caring shape, which is filled with blue sky, white clouds and coir grass. It feels quite touching. Autumn in Jiangnan doesn't feel very cold yet, but the grass has withered unreasonably, but the leaves in the mountains are not yet red, only showing some charred colors. Of course, the tree species here may not be red-leaf trees such as maple or maple.

The Fucui Pavilion is built between two stone walls, saving its pillars. We just need to put the beams on the wall-and build a roof. However, if it is floating green, it may take summer to realize it. However, although the leaves behind the pavilion did not turn red, they were also very bright yellow.

The Horse Seeking Pavilion is at the highest point of the hill. Like the Fucui Pavilion, it is also built against the stone wall. I also saw a pavilion next to it, which also inherited this style, which was quite interesting. It is quite interesting to combine the exquisiteness of the wood structure with the rough stone wall.

However, Shouxing Pavilion is very normal. It is just a small pavilion with flying eaves and crooked corners. Standing in the pavilion, you can see Xinyuan Tower and Wisteria Corridor from afar.

There is a Shouxing Rock next to it, about 5 meters high and looks like an old man. Zhao Huanguang, a high-ranking scholar in the Ming Dynasty, inscribed the three words "Shouxing Rock" and signed it in his own name. You know, Zhao Huanguang has a lot of handwriting, but almost none of them has been signed. This is the only place where he actually signed the script. It shows that he likes this vivid and unique rock very much. It is said that as long as you fondle this stone piously, you will be lucky and live a long life.

The unique topography of the three mountains surrounding the Dragon Pond makes the Dragon Pond look particularly peaceful. It is said that there are also peach blossom jellyfish known as the giant panda in the water here. However, this animal is really an elusive one. I have been to several ponds that claim to have this animal, but I have never seen it. In fact, even if it can really live in Longchi, it means that the water quality of Longchi is good.

Longchi was rebuilt in 1952 and is the earliest reservoir built in Suzhou and even Jiangsu Province. The lake surface is 20000 square meters and the volume of water is 80000 cubic meters. It belongs to natural rainwater and water springs. The water quality is clear and pollution-free.

There are two legends about Longchi. One is that in order to enlighten the land of Wuzhong, Prince Donghailong helped Tang Priest go to the Western Heaven to learn scriptures. He then transformed into a white dragon horse and carried scriptures to the western part of Wudi, influencing Lion Mountain and Huqiu Mountain. After all, he was the little white dragon who followed the Tang Priest to prove the right path. His realm was much higher than that of the little white dragon in Taihu Lake. After Bailongma completed this work, he was so tired that he fell down in the western mountains of Wu Land. At that time, the Dragon King of the East China Sea was already old. After hearing the news, he rushed over and found that the scenery here was beautiful, but he could no longer see his crown prince. He was sad and spat out the green night pearl in his mouth and stayed with the crown prince. After the night pearl fell to the ground, it immediately transformed into a green pool. In order to commemorate this little white dragon that benefited Wu, people named it "Longchi".

There is also a legend about the little white dragon in Taihu Lake, followed by the story of Baima River. One year after the death of King Helu of Wu, the world relied on the past to satirize the present. The springs in Yangshan and Huashan Mountain were also exhausted. Seeing that the Baima River was about to reach the bottom, Baima planned to find a new spring to replenish the water in the stream. It is not deep enough, so it can only ask its father, the Old Dragon King of Taihu Lake, for help. The old Dragon King really found the spring not far from here, but unfortunately the spring was blocked and water could not be drawn out. It turned out that when Tieguai Li Jiayun passed by, he became addicted to alcohol, so he took the gourd and drank alcohol. He might have been a little drunk and dropped the stopper of the gourd. He accidentally fell into the spring hole and turned into a stone. The spring hole was blocked tightly. If you want to take out the immortal's things, you should do it yourself. The old dragon king has no relationship with Tieguai Li, so he probably cannot hire Tieguai Li. Little Bailong thought of a way and turned into a naughty boy. He stole Tieguai Li's crutch while he was sleeping. Tieguai Li was furious when he woke up and chased little Bailong to the spring eye. Xiao Bailong returned the crutch to him on the condition of taking the stone. As soon as the stone was blocked, spring water gushed and flowed to the Baima Stream. In order to commemorate this little white dragon, later generations called this place "Dragon Pond".

Of course, the legendary story is not the truth, but looking at the beautiful pool and listening to the beautiful legends will naturally make people more fascinated.

Standing on the hillside, you can see that the water is as flat as a mirror, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds and green mountains and green trees. Although there are no red leaves covering the mountains, the yellow leaves look quite gorgeous in the water.

Turning to the foot of the mountain, there is a rock pile beside the dragon pool. It is said to be "Tiangong Stone Rhythm". Judging from the name, it should be natural, but I still feel that there are traces of acquired modification.

Turn around from the other side along the lakeside trail. There is a scenic spot in the west of Longchi called "Fish Playing Lotus Peak". We can still understand Lotus Peak. I guess this mountain reflected in the Longchi is called Lotus Peak or Lotus Peak. It is probably just the same name as the peak on Tianchi Huashan. But what about fish? Our eyes widened, but we didn't see any fish.

Walking along the wooden plank road by the pool back to the horse drinking pool, we should pass a waterfall "Flowing Rainbow Flying Waterfall", but we didn't see it, although we saw a pavilion with a "Flowing Waterfall Flying Rainbow". It is probably an artificial waterfall. There may be no flowing waterfalls today, or we may have missed it without realizing it.
