In spring, I took my parents to eat boat meals on a hand-cranked boat. It felt so good, and it was very cost-effective. It was like giving it away for nothing!

Shajiabang Scenic Area is located in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province. It is a national 5A-level tourist scenic spot, a national patriotic education demonstration base, and one of the largest ecological wetlands in East China.

I booked in advance the newly launched Luyi Lung-Raising Boat Meal by Luyi Hotel in Shajiabang, and drove on time to Luyi Resort Hotel at the entrance of Shajiabang Scenic Area at noon.

The starting point for the Luyi Lung-Raising Boat meal is the dock next to Luyi Resort Hotel.

This Luyi Lung-Raising Boat meal is really great value. The recent special price is 588 yuan. It includes tickets to the Shajiabang Scenic Area for 4 people, a 1.5-hour hand-operated boat, and four dishes and one soup for lunch, complimentary snacks and fruits.

There is also a "Luyi Yangxin Boat Tea" set meal with a special price of 458 yuan. It includes tickets to the Shajiabang Scenic Area for 4 people, tea and snacks for 4 people, and a 1.5-hour hand-operated boat. It is also recommended.

After eleven o'clock in the afternoon, we got on a hand-cranked boat and set off!

The family was chatting while eating lunch on the boat.

Occasionally fish leap and egrets fly. It feels good to be close to nature. Moreover, the boat lady is very skilled and the boat is very stable, so that she will not spill a drop of soup.

The boat is leisurely and slowly shuttling through the endless reed swamps. You can also listen to the boatwoman sing a few boat songs in Changshu dialect, which is very comfortable.

The four dishes and one soup are all full. They are all freshly cooked by the chefs of Luyi Resort Hotel and are still hot.

The snack that day was scallion cake, which was crispy and delicious. Of course, it comes with a large bucket of rice and an after-meal fruit.

The tourists on the hand-cranked boat next door were all surprised and attracted many envious looks: "Ah, can we still have lunch on the boat?"

I also calculated an account for them, and they shouted: I wish I had known earlier.

Luyi Lung-Raising Boat Meals, the current discount price is 588 yuan for four people, first deducting the off-season tickets for four people in Shajiabang Scenic Area X70=280 yuan;

After deducting the cost of hand-operated boats, in a normal Shajiabang Scenic Area, it costs 40 yuan for 25 minutes to enter the reed maze. This Luyi Lung-Raising Boat takes 1.5 hours to hand-operated boats, making it a wider viewing range. Calculate a double hand-operated boat, 4 people X80=320 yuan.

After calculating it, we didn't spend any money on this lunch and earned 12 yuan! It's really super cost-effective and worth recommending. But limited to 3 servings per day!

An hour and a half later, the boat lady asked us to disembark at the dock in Shajiabang Scenic Area. We spent the afternoon on a spring outing in Shajiabang Scenic Area.

Walking on the tree-lined path, it is April on earth, the sun is very good, and the breeze is quiet.

It is very close to Hengjing Old Street from the dock where you get off the ship.

Hengjing Old Street was once a film and television base, but these buildings were later preserved. Diao's Courtyard, Chunlai Teahouse, Iron Forging Shop, Dye Shop, Coffee Shop, Snack Bar, Milk Tea Shop... It has everything here.

Tired from shopping, the family chatted for an hour at the Chunlai Teahouse in Hengjing Old Street after drinking a glass of Biluochun, listening to a few Pingtan songs, chewing melon seeds. Talk about my childhood and talk about my rural life.

At Chunlai Teahouse, I watched the seven-star stove with them, which "builds a seven-star stove and cooks three rivers in copper pots."

They are very familiar with the story of Aunt Aqing. Diao Deyi, Aunt Aqing... These plump character stories make us sigh that today's happiness is hard-won.

When I left Hengjing Old Street, I also bought two Shajiabang Second Sister Goose and went home. The price for chicken is 45 yuan/piece, and the price for goose is 75 yuan/piece. It is not expensive.

This is a heroic land, with vast reeds carrying a land of water and soil. The unique wetland culture is hidden in the Jiangnan jasper under the green reeds.

Local cuisine, ancient streets in water towns, light luxury B & Bs, reed maze, Hengjing never sleeps, Luyi lung raising boat meals... In recent years, Shajiabang Scenic Area has continuously introduced the new and has undergone great changes.

Changshu Shajiabang Reedang Scenic Area is only an hour's drive from Shanghai and only half an hour's drive from Suzhou. It only takes an hour to take the high-speed train from Shanghai Station to Changshu Station, and then take a taxi to Shajiabang. The transportation is very convenient.

To go to Shajiabang Scenic Area, you need to tell the driver that you are going to Shajiabang Scenic Area, not Shajiabang Town. Shajiabang Town is to the east of the scenic area and 5 kilometers away from the gate of the scenic area.

Tickets for Changshu Shajiabang Scenic Area during the peak season (June to November) are 100 yuan, tickets for the off-season (December to May) are 70 yuan, and battery cars in the scenic area are 25 yuan/person.

If you live in a B & B in a scenic area, you will be exempt from scenic area tickets and battery car pick-up fees. If you book a Luyi Lung-Raising Boat meal, tickets to the scenic spot are also included.

It is right at the entrance of Shajiabang Scenic Area. It is more affordable. Dinner can also be served at this hotel.

This is a boutique B & B in Shajiabang Scenic Area. There are several suites in Luhua Bieyuan that are very interesting.
