After a year and a half of rest, I plan to return to work after the National Day holiday. Seizing the tail of the holiday, I plan to have another off-season trip to the world of two before going to work. In order to minimize the delay in picking up and dropping off my son from school, I have chosen to depart four days before the National Day holiday, which can also be connected to the beginning of the long holiday. I want to relax for a few days in a leisurely way. After several choices, I have decided to go to the Jiangnan water town to taste the slow life.
When it comes to the great rivers and mountains in China, I would like to comment on the blue sea and sky in Hainan, the colorful clouds and expensive places, the magnificent Xinjiang, and of course, the amazing and dreamy Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area in Sichuan. I can never recall a grand introduction to the southern Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Jiangnan areas. Perhaps due to the convenience of transportation, for Jiangsu and Zhejiang, there is no need for deliberate planning, and one can go and take a look just by thinking about it, without a sense of mystery and temptation. In fact, in the past itinerary, Jiangsu and Zhejiang have accounted for a considerable proportion. Whether it is the beautiful scenery or the delicious food, they all call for us to go time and time again. Unconsciously, they reserve a very important position for her in our hearts. This unbreakable love between Jiangsu and Zhejiang!
A think tank of five charming tigers, invincible in all major and minor situations! The Jiangnan area is also a destination for several other tigers, and they have a lot of practical experience. I have confirmed this trip to Jiangnan. With the advice and advice of the think tank, the itinerary was quickly and properly arranged. Despite multiple visits, there must be new gains every day, and we must also have a great feast!
1、 Nanshan Bamboo Sea, Tianmu Lake Sand Pot Fish Head
Departed from Beijing early in the morning and arrived at noon Nanjing . I picked up the reserved rental car and headed straight to the hotel at the entrance of the Nanshan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area. The road conditions were good with few cars and few people on the way. It was already 3pm when we departed from the hotel, and the hotel front desk staff responsibly suggested that we go early tomorrow morning. The time to walk inside and take the cable car to the top of the mountain is a bit tight now. I also learned from my best friend that they waited in line for two hours by cable car. But we just want to take a stroll in the bamboo forest and feel the fresh atmosphere of nature. It's not important whether we take the cable car to climb the mountain top, but rather to reserve more time for the water town behind us. Therefore, we still set off according to the original plan. Walking only a few hundred meters from the hotel to Nanshan Bamboo Sea, we searched for restaurants on the roadside as we walked. In fact, we had already purchased a fish head soup set meal on the recommendation of our best friend. The restaurant for the group purchase set meal is very prominent on the roadside of the scenic area, and almost all restaurants around have the big sign of fish head soup. It seems to be really a local specialty, a must have delicacy here!
The endless Nanshan Bamboo Sea is located at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces, with high vegetation coverage and fresh air. It is a famous summer resort in China.
Entering the scenic area, there is a fork in the road. On the left side, we can take a small train directly to Shouxing Square. We choose the walking path on the right side and shuttle through the bamboo forest path. The road is flat without any slopes, and walking is not tiring at all. The blue sky and white clouds reflect through the bamboo forest, and the reflection of the bamboo forest can be seen and seen, breathing in the fragrant air of the bamboo forest. It is the time when osmanthus flowers are in full bloom, and the fragrance of osmanthus wafts in, refreshing and soothing.
Quickly arriving at the Jinghu Corridor, the mountains and lush greenery are reflected on the calm lake surface. Bamboo rafts float on the water surface, blending with the mountains and lakes to form a dynamic picture.
Walking along the bamboo path in the depths of the bamboo forest, a "bird paradise" appears. Perhaps there are too few visitors, and the birds are lazy and don't like to pay attention to us. Surprised to see the flamingo! These pets, mainly living on the shores and shallow waters of tropical lakes such as the Mediterranean coast, northwest India, and Africa, are leisurely drinking and playing by the lake here. We walk by them calmly, with an undisturbed and self indulgent posture. Red body, beautiful curves, what a beautiful scenery in the bamboo forest!
Along the way, the small train shuttling by was not far away, accompanying us and adding a few colors to the quiet bamboo forest; The faint stream and flowing water sing happily, adding a touch of liveliness to the bamboo forest and mountain scenery.
Unconsciously, I have arrived at the Shouxing Square, and a very eye-catching Shouxing portrait appears in front of me. Big banger head, big earlobes, smiling face, long eyebrows and long whiskers. It is over ten meters high and built against the mountain. It is said to be made of pure copper, and the back wall is written with various fonts of "Shou", creating an atmosphere of Shouxing Square.
There was no queue at the cable car, which facilitated our unplanned hiking trip. Sitting on the cable car, looking down from the sky at the magnificent bamboo sea, it is majestic and boundless. Climbing the peak of Wu Yue's "younger brother", this mountain spans across the three provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, providing a beautiful view of the three provinces and making it a great place to overlook the bamboo sea. I deliberately compared my best friend's posture and took a photo in front of the large "fu" pillar. Haha, unexpected gains bring a lot of joy!
The fish head set meal in clay pot is too affordable! A large clay pot, thick white fish soup, with minimal use of seasoning, showcases the inherent freshness of the fish soup, making it irresistible. The two of us drank a bowl of dry fish soup; Nanshan bamboo shoots, tender and tender, seem to be able to taste the sweetness of bamboo; Chestnut roasted chicken, large and affordable, rich and fragrant. After eating and drinking, I went back to the hotel and wandered along the bamboo path. I couldn't smell the refreshing fragrance of osmanthus!
II Nanxun Nanxun
There are many ancient towns in Jiangnan. As one of the six major ancient towns in Jiangnan, Nanxun holds titles such as a famous historical and cultural town in China and a charming town in China. It holds a very important position. Nanxun Ancient Town With a long history, the river passes through the town, and streets, alleys, and residential buildings are distributed along both sides of the river, walking along the river. Since ancient times, Nanxun has been dominated by wealthy people, with many beautiful estates owned by wealthy families. Moreover, due to the prevalence of Western style here, Nanxun is also the only ancient town that combines Chinese and Western styles, noble and elegant. It stems from my special love for white walls and gray tiles, and I have been longing for Nanxun for a long time.
The weather was clear and refreshing. On the highway from Nanshan Bamboo Sea to Nanxun Ancient Town, we unexpectedly discovered a sign on National Highway 318. We were still unsatisfied with driving back from Xinjiang, and we read a lot about it Self driving in Xizang Introduction to the famous 318! Although this is heading towards Shanghai, this unexpected encounter has brought us another aspiration!
The reserved hotel is located opposite the gate of Nanxun Ancient Town, and we have prepared to enter the park again at any time as we cannot fully enjoy the first time. Before coming, read the guide. Before 8 am and after 5 pm, you can enter and exit the ancient town without admission tickets. Plan to use it as your own backyard and come for a leisurely stroll.
At noon, I couldn't wait to taste the local famous dishes The Taihu Lake Lake Steamed white fish with chicken sauce of one third white, the meat is fresh and tender, meeting expectations. This white fish is a dish that my husband really likes to admire after his trip to Hangzhou a few years ago. Although the fish bones are rich, the meat is tender and tender. The preparation of this chicken sauce is different from his method in Beijing, each with its own unique advantages.
After taking a nap in the afternoon, we officially stepped into Nanxun Ancient Town. I only found out when I entered that by taking a fingerprint, I could register for a second entry into the park and come back at any time the next day.
Upon entering the gate, one immediately immerses themselves in the picturesque landscape of a small bridge, flowing water, and a family. The small streets and alleys on both sides of the river offer both old estates and unique shops. There are several small bridges connecting the two small streets. Strolling along the riverbank allows you to explore several major scenic spots within the scenic area without the need for deliberate searching. Sitting on the stone steps by the river, a small boat swayed and swayed in the small river behind me, while at other times only the shimmering blue waves were left against the backdrop of the stone arch bridge and steps; The blue slate path seems to tell the noble and elegant past of Nanxun; Standing on the stone arch bridge and overlooking, the ancient house is on the side, with green leaves hanging on the shore. The small boat drifting in the distance adds a touch of vitality to the painting.
There is a famous architectural complex tourist area in Nanxun—— Baijian Building . The Baijian Tower was first built in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of over 400 years. It is the most well preserved residential building along the river during the Ming and Qing dynasties in the Jiangnan region, with about a hundred buildings. It not only maintains the architectural style of the Ming dynasty, but also embodies the architectural charm of the Qing dynasty. Here, buildings are built along the river and winding along the river. The light and transparent rolling door connects the entire hundred buildings into a long arcade style street.
To go to Baijianlou, you need to first cross a small road. It feels like walking deep into the streets and alleys for a long time, with fewer and fewer shops, and a sense of desolation and vicissitudes. Mu Ran discovered that he had already stepped on the long street of a hundred buildings. This place was simple and natural, with few visitors, and one could see the simple and tranquil life of the locals in the ancient town. The red lanterns hanging in front of every household become a beautiful scenic line, reflecting in the water along with buildings and small bridges, presenting an undisturbed and comfortable scenery.
Returning from the Baijian Tower to the streets and alleys of Nanxun Ancient Town, the sky gradually darkened and the lights of each household lit up. This is also the long-awaited night view of the ancient town, with dim lights and brilliant colors. Dinner was arranged at a popular restaurant in the ancient town. The restaurant has a small storefront with several small tables connected to the kitchen, and a space was set up outside with some tables and chairs. When we arrived, there happened to be a table full of guests before we had our seats available. Those who came from behind had to queue up for their seats. We ordered a few special dishes. The boss would sometimes make steamed fish as the main dish, and then come out to greet customers. Each fish was personally served to the client, and he was very proud of his craftsmanship. He boasted that he had already made more than 30000 fish, and his pride was beyond words. We ordered braised bamboo shoots, which are said to be made from the soup of Braised pork belly. They are delicious, tender, and the boiled shrimp is also delicious. As the number of people gradually increased, many local residents also came to the ancient town to start their happy lives.
Xiaolian Village The door has already closed, which perfectly completes our second entry into the park.
III Pillow Water Home Slow product Wuzhen
Xiaolian Village is a private garden built by Liu Yong in the late Qing Dynasty. It was built by three generations of the Liu family over 40 years ago. It is said that due to his admiration for the name of the Lotus Village built by Zhao Mengfu, a famous calligrapher and painter from Huzhou in the late Yuan Dynasty, it is called Xiaolian Village and is a flagship scenic spot in Nanxun Ancient Town. Xiaolianzhuang is not far from entering Nanxun. We went there early in the morning, but our personality is not good. Not far from entering the estate, you can see a large lotus pond, which is said to be as large as ten acres. The pond is filled with large green lotus leaves. It is already summer, and the lotus flowers have withered. You can see some hidden branches and withered flowers under the lotus leaves. There are several lotus pavilions around the lotus pond, each with a different shape. Near the pavilion and water pavilion, colorful koi are shaking their heads and tails to grab food. The exquisite garden pattern presents a serene and winding atmosphere.
Coming out of Xiaolian Village, the canopies were neatly arranged on both sides of the river at the entrance, adding a touch of tranquility to the scene of wandering in the small river seen yesterday.
It's only a half hour drive from Nanxun to Wuzhen, and the Xunwu Line is a direct route. This road, which connects two AAAAA scenic spots, is named after the scenery and already has its own halo. It feels so romantic and beautiful.
Wuzhen is an ancient town in Jiangnan with a history of over 6000 years, divided into West Gate Dongzha Two major scenic spots. For the convenience of our wandering vacation, the hotel was booked at the entrance of Dongzha. In the morning, take advantage of the early hours and enter Dongzha for sightseeing.
Entering Wuzhen, what catches the eye is an ancient house built in the form of hanging feet, with half of the houses leaning against the river. It is a combination of stone and wood, as well as interconnected water pavilions, bridges, stone alleys, and canopies parked quietly on the water surface. A breath of Chinese ink painting fills the air.
We still wander aimlessly, and wherever we go, we see what we see. Perhaps it's because we're not in the habit of traveling freely with the group.
The entire town is formed by rivers, connected by streets and bridges, and integrated with water. On both sides of the streets and alleys, there are wooden windows and doors in front of ancient houses, telling the story of history. Upon closer inspection of the wooden and stone carvings on the beams, columns, doors, and windows, the craftsmanship is exquisite and full of charm. There are many locals living on both sides of the streets and alleys, who have lived here for generations. The authentic water town people, looking inside through windows and half open doors, lack modern appliances, but appear to have a strong sense of life, simple, warm and comfortable.
We enter Jiangnan Hundred Beds Hall Appreciation: The museum houses dozens of ancient Jiangnan beds from the Ming and Qing dynasties, showcasing both the luxury of wealthy merchants and the simplicity of ordinary people. These beds are exquisitely designed and crafted, reflecting a microcosm of history. Appreciating it feels like an artistic enjoyment.
We are here
Hongyuan Tai Dyeing Workshop
The iconic landscape of Dongzha, with high raised blue printed fabrics swaying back and forth in the gentle breeze, exudes a romanticized atmosphere in the air, making it a highly sought after sight. There are many small shops around selling small handicrafts, clothes, and floral fabrics in various dyed fabrics and colors. The blue and white patterns are particularly beautiful due to their adaptability, making them the business card of Dongzha!
Strolling around, we visited most of the scenic spots in Dongzha,
Home of Mao Dun
Lin Jiapuzi
Shadow Puppet Theater
Tired of strolling around, I had lunch at a restaurant by the water, watching a canopies float past the water outside the door. It was really enjoyable!
In the afternoon, take a nap at the hotel and return to the entrance of Dongzha Scenic Area. There is a shuttle bus to deliver to Xizha Scenic Area. The two places are about two kilometers apart. Along the way, there are many big posters promoting Beijing's Gubeishui Town. It is said that Gubeishui Town was built in comparison to Wuzhen.
Entering the West Gate, it feels more modern and vast than the East Gate. After being renovated and redesigned, it continues to host international conferences. Let the world know Wuzhen, Wuzhen is the pride of the Chinese people!
The crisscrossing small rivers divide Xizha into many small islands, each connected by dozens of different ancient stone bridges. The old buildings are built along the water, creating a typical Jiangnan water town with small bridges and flowing water scenery.
We still stroll around casually.
Walking into a unique alley, the cafes and bars on the streets and alleys are full of artistic sentiment, which may not suit my taste. I think they do not match the style of the ancient water town.
We walked into the Foot Binding Culture Museum, which displayed hundreds of pairs of foot binding shoes, many of which were exquisitely crafted, while others were simple for ordinary women, reflecting China's past history.
Passing through the soy sauce garden, one can smell the aroma of soy sauce wafting from afar, and the large vats used for making soy sauce in the yard create a unique scenery.
The circular "Wuzhen" sign hanging on the wall attracts visitors to queue up for group photos.
The vast sea of flowers discovered by Muran, with blooming purple flowers and yellow sunflowers, must be taken inside!
Water Market It is also a gathering place for various shops, and the most attractive thing for tourists is feeding groups of fish in nearby waters.

N ü hong Street
There are many shops selling handmade products that girls like, such as specialty embroidery and scarves. Even if you don't go in and take a closer look, you can't help but slow down your pace.
The east and west gates of Wuzhen have their own unique characteristics that cannot be separated. The east gate is more authentic, while the west gate adds to its integration with the times.
Fortunately, I took the last bus from West Gate to East Gate. Dongzha doesn't open the garden at night, it's already pitch black. We are looking for a restaurant nearby, on a long street, where everything is very dull. We entered a relatively large one, and the waiters were already dining. Since Dongzha is not open to the public at night, they have no guests at night. Fortunately, when we returned in time, we ate another white fish!
Satisfied, before the crowded National Day holiday, I had a great time visiting the two most cherished water towns in Jiangnan.
4 Suzhou Roaming: Zhoushan Hediao Village, the Taihu Lake Lake, Shantang Street
Continue to travel around the Taihu Lake Lake to Suzhou.
I like Suzhou, and I think it is the city that best embodies the characteristics of Jiangnan. It is also because the specialty cuisine there, such as hand peeled shrimp, is always delicious.
Suddenly, I felt that Suzhou was the base of the Five Tigers. Although we didn't have the opportunity to go together for the time being, staying in the same hotel and knowing the recipes of the same restaurant were like our favorite gathering place in Beijing.
During this trip to Suzhou, while reliving the memories, I also wanted to visit places I had never been before and have some fresh experiences.
For the first stop in Suzhou, we chose Zhoushan Nuclear Carving Village. The first person to know about nuclear carvings must be "The Story of Nuclear Boats"! The description is meticulous and vivid, and every time I see this article, I want to see the small object described. Nuclear carving is no longer a novelty in the market today. The market is filled with nuclear carving bracelets, including machine carving and manual carving, with a variety of themes. It is said that many merchants go to Zhoushan to purchase goods, and this time we happened to go and have a look.
There is very little introduction to this in various travel guides, perhaps this is not a place to travel, but it adds a bit of mystery. Following the navigation, I successfully found the destination.
Hediao Village is located in Suzhou Qionglong Mountain Next, the shore of the Taihu Lake Lake. The sky is clear and clear, with blue sky and white clouds. The house is clean and orderly, surrounded by green plants and flowers. Osmanthus flowers are in full bloom, with a strong fragrance. The narrow path connects the entire village, making it particularly peaceful and elegant. The difference from the imagined market is significant. It can be said that this is the birthplace and exchange place of nuclear sculpture art.
It is said that since the Republic of China, the nuclear carving in this village near the Taihu Lake Lake has gradually emerged. It has a history of more than 100 years. Nuclear carving has become the name card of Zhoushan people, and many carving masters have emerged. They inherit and carry forward this exquisite skill based on their own studios. We casually walked into several studios, but the space was not very large. Some had a counter in front and a workbench behind, where the engravers were working on their desks. The sound of the carving knives grinding could be heard in bursts. In the counter, there are eight immortals crossing the sea, the god of wealth, Arhat, bodhisattva, flowers and plants, and mountains and rivers, which are of a wide variety and dazzling. These handicrafts have exquisite shapes, clear and smooth lines, delicate workmanship, diverse expressions, and strong three-dimensional sense. I don't know how to carve, but I feel like I am appreciating each piece of art. How much skill is needed for each and every cut! The main works here are purely handmade carvings, of course, they are expensive.
Zhoushan Nuclear Carving Village has a strong ornamental value, whether it is the peaceful and elegant scenery in the village or the lifelike artworks.
I have come to the the Taihu Lake Lake. Why not look at the water of the Taihu Lake Lake. We didn't arrange the scenic spot of the Taihu Lake Lake, so we drove along the the Taihu Lake Lake to see the scenery and found a lake near the water to stop and enjoy it. The Taihu Lake Lake, located at the junction of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, is the third largest freshwater lake in China. Our trip is also around it in a counterclockwise direction. The lake is endless and the waves are rippling. The lyrics of "the Taihu Lake Lake is beautiful, the Taihu Lake Lake is beautiful, and beauty lies in the water of the Taihu Lake Lake" can't help jumping out in my mind.
reach Old Suzhou Tea Restaurant Let's eat hand peeled shrimp! Check in to the Nanlin Hotel in the base area, and arrive at the restaurant with ease. Order the long-awaited shrimp, crispy duck, and boiled dry silk, and complete all the tasks. Nanlin Hotel It's just a big garden with a beautiful environment, but the facilities are a bit outdated. It's very convenient to eat and travel around, right there Pingjiang Road Near Shiquan Road.
Depart in the evening and head towards Shantang Street. Shantang Street is an old street with a history of thousands of years, which was built under the leadership of the Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi when he was an official in Suzhou. The entire street is about seven miles long and is known as the "Seven Li Mountain Pond". The not too wide slate road is flanked by old houses with white walls and black tiles, as well as a forest of shops. The street runs parallel to the Shantang River, with ancient bridges spanning the river. Emperor Qianlong had a special fondness for the seven mile mountain and pond, and his inscription "Seeking Victory in the Shantang" still stands there. As night falls, red lanterns are hung in front of the shops, adding a warm and festive atmosphere to the old street of Shantang.
For dinner, I returned to the Old Suzhou Tea Restaurant, where steamed white fish and boiled shrimp were very delicious.
I have already eaten three fish!
5、 Suzhou Roaming: Humble Administrator's Garden Pingjiang Road
Today is the 70th anniversary celebration of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Although I am not in Beijing, I have decided to give up my morning trip and watch the live celebration and military parade on TV.
For breakfast, the Chinese time-honored brand Yang Yuxing's noodles with shredded pork and snow vegetables in red soup, chicken shredded wonton stew and crab Xiaolongbao beside the hotel gate are really full! Return to the hotel and lean on the bed to rest and watch TV.
At noon, after watching the live broadcast of the military parade, we went straight out for a tour. I haven't digested breakfast yet.
Suzhou, a paradise on earth, was amazed by Mark Polo as the "Venice of the East". The ancient city streets are built along the river, with water and land running parallel. The front alleys and back rivers form a unique style of "small bridges, flowing water, and homes". This water town city, known for its picturesque landscape, has never been specifically visited in our previous itinerary. This time, we have decided to find a representative to take a look.
The typical representative of classical gardens in Jiangnan is undoubtedly the Humble Administrator's Garden. Humble Administrator's Garden and the Summer Palace in Beijing, Chengde Mountain Resort, Suzhou lingering Garden , also known as the four famous gardens in China. Humble Administrator's Garden was built in the early years of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty. It has a history of more than 500 years. It is the largest existing classical garden, known as "the mother of the world's gardens", and also included in the The World Heritage List.
Entering the garden, rockery shaped stones and clusters of fresh flowers catch the eye. The winding paths and paths in the garden are intricately arranged, with pavilions and towers of different shapes facing each other across the water. The corridors follow the undulating mountain terrain, with reflections reflecting on the surface of the pond, creating gentle blue waves. Moving step by step, feeling like people are in the picture!
The National Day holiday has already begun, and the number of tourists has significantly increased compared to the previous two days.
Not far from Humble Administrator's Garden is Pingjiang Road, a well preserved ancient street area. There are many old houses on both sides of the block, with white walls, gray tiles, wooden doors, and wooden windows, which are particularly quaint. The river channels within the block are intertwined, giving it a distinctive Jiangnan water city. There are many specialty shops selling various delicacies and local products in the neighborhood, and surprisingly, we were surprised to find the shrimp pancake we saw on our TV program before, which is a local specialty food. Many people specially lined up to buy and taste it, with a large shrimp pressed into a thin pancake. Surprisingly, I saw it here! There are two options available: octopus and black tiger shrimp. We must taste them. We bought a big shrimp and didn't go to Japan. We also had a taste of it. The shrimp cake is square and square, with the shrimp body pressed flat into the cake. We start eating it from the edges, and the flavor of the pancake is delicious when paired with the shrimp body. But when eating at the center, the main part of the shrimp body feels a bit hard when bitten. I don't know if Japan is also like this? Holding shrimp cakes, walking on the old cobblestone street of Pingjiang Road, well, that's how we spend our leisure time!
I went back to the hotel for dinner and found another specialty restaurant. Osmanthus and glutinous rice lotus root are very suitable for the occasion. Looking at the osmanthus scattered on the glutinous rice lotus root is like smelling the refreshing fragrance of osmanthus; Fried crab with rice cake is also a dish that I have been thinking about for a long time. After our first encounter in Shaoxing, this dish has been deeply hidden in my taste buds; Hand peeled shrimp is still very delicious, but this one has smaller shrimp.
6、 Jinling Roaming:
Qinhuai River
Bank
Xuanwu lake park
Depart and return to Nanjing to embark on a journey to Jinling. This is the turnover base for our trip to Jiangnan. This ancient capital of six dynasties, which has accumulated a thousand years of culture, has always been summoned by the scenery along the Qinhuai River and duck blood vermicelli soup.
Returning to Nanjing, first put your luggage back in the hotel, return the rental car, and head straight to the destination Confucian temple The Nanjing specialty food stall. This lunch was planned by me in Beijing and was personally tasted by my best friend's think tank. At eleven o'clock, there were already many people waiting at the stalls, and there was a lot of buzz both inside and outside. After half an hour of waiting, it's finally our turn. The Nanjing flagship stalls have a complete variety of dishes, including unique Jinling cuisine as well as innovative and sublimated dishes. The portions are exquisite, and you can order several more. There are too many delicious things, making it difficult to choose. I want to taste everything, but I end up eating until the end. Duck blood vermicelli soup is not fishy or greasy, and it has a full flavor, it's really delicious.
After dinner, take a walk by the Qinhuai River in the Confucius Temple. The Qinhuai Scenic Belt of Confucius Temple refers to the Qinhuai River area centered around Confucius Temple, including the streets and alleys on both sides, residential buildings, and nearby historical sites and scenic spots. It is a must visit place for visitors to Nanjing.
We first passed by the Jiangnan Gongyuan, an ancient Chinese imperial examination venue with signs such as "China's treasure trove of top scorers" and "China's largest imperial examination venue", which were very attractive to parents. At the entrance of the Gongyuan, there were many sellers of brocade bags and lucky bags, and the business was good. We picked a pencil case with the words "carp leaping over the dragon gate, academic achiever" and gave it to our son. In fact, we also know that our son, who has always been low-key, will not really use this pencil case. Let's treat it as a mascot and place it on his desk!
From a distance, one can see the Qinhuai River, with beautiful scenery on both sides. White walls and black tiles are hidden in the shade of green trees, and red lanterns are hung high, displaying a festive atmosphere. Approaching the riverbank, the painted boats on the water add vitality to the scene. There were many people, and the bustling crowd highlighted the festive atmosphere. Suddenly, a tour guide introduced to the tourists in his group that the number of visitors at night was ten times higher than now. Listening to it, everyone felt that it would be such a terrifying scene. Walking through the streets and alleys, I saw the former residence of Xie An, a nobleman of the Eastern Jin Dynasty Wuyi Lane Passing by the private garden of Xu Da, a founding hero of the Ming Dynasty Bailuzhou Park .
Returning to the hotel for lunch break! The location of the hotel, after my careful selection, is located
Xuanwu Lake
The middle area of Zhongshan Scenic Area is convenient for travel.
We set off in the afternoon, crossed a road, and arrived at Xuanwu Lake Park. The entrance is a side door with very few people.
Xuanwu Lake is a large park built around the lake, divided into Huanzhou Sakura Island The five oases of Lingzhou, Liangzhou, and Cuizhou are interconnected by embankments and bridges, forming an integrated whole. The park is connected by mountains and rivers everywhere, gathering many famous scenic spots and historical sites. The park is rich in green plants, and the lakeside is covered with lush grass and bright flowers. We walked along the embankment bridge around the lake. Xuanwu Lake is so big, and the lights were dim before we arrived Xuanwu Gate Under the illumination of the light, the Xuanwu Gate has vibrant colors, so beautiful! along Nanjing City Wall Walking back, the periphery is further away, and I can't get a ride. Fortunately, I found a shared bike, and my legs have already weakened!
7、 Jinling Roaming: Zhongshan Scenic Area
Meiling Palace
Yuhuatai
Zhongshan, also known as Zhongshan Zijin Mountain , is based on Zhongshan Cemetery Centered, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum With Linggu Temple as the main scenic spot, there are hundreds of various famous scenic spots and historical sites scattered around, and there are many large scenic areas available for sightseeing. I checked before departure and it's only a few kilometers away from our hotel. The weather is sunny, so I suggest cycling there. I completely forgot that this is a scenic area that relies on mountains. As soon as I rode into the scenic area, I couldn't move and had to transfer to a bus.
The scenic area is too big, and I don't want to climb the mountain, so I decided to choose a romantic beauty palace. Meiling Palace is a Chinese and Western style building built on a mountain, with a palace like grandeur: yellow exterior walls, red columns, green glazed tile roofs, and beautiful traditional paintings painted under the eaves, exuding a strong Chinese classical charm and nobility and elegance.
There is one underground floor and three above ground floors in the building, which are basically arranged according to the original design of the Song Meiling couple before their death.
Of course, the most attractive thing to tourists is the beautiful legend: Song Meiling likes French wutong. When Chiang Kai shek built the palace road, he decorated it with rows of French wutong. The mountain road is like a necklace, which is very spectacular. The Meiling Palace is a "pendant", known as "the most beautiful necklace in the world".
After coming out of the Meiling Palace, we decided to ride our bicycles down the mountain. The blue sky and white clouds perfectly matched the colorful leaves of the autumn scenery. The colors were bright, the temperature was just right, and the breeze blew by, feeling very comfortable. Walking and stopping along the way, the scenery is endless, and it feels like this is the real tourist attraction of Zhongshan Scenic Area. There is no need to enter the scenic spots, and there are few visitors, so you can freely take photos. When we see a unique scenery, the two of us stop, either sit by the roadside, take a break, or walk deep into the scenery to blend in with the colorful scenery.
After lunch break, unwilling to waste the last half of our time in Nanjing, we decided to take a look at the Yuhuatai and see the Yuhuashi that I miss. The park is large, with abundant vegetation and few visitors, making it very quiet. The Yuhua Pavilion is solemn and dignified amidst the backdrop of lush pine and cypress trees; The Yuhua Spring, known as the "second spring in Jiangnan", has a pool of deep green water, with small lotus leaves clustered in the middle of the pool. Unfortunately, it lacks the beautiful color of lotus flowers; Xiyuan is exquisite and compact, with plum blossom style courtyard doors showcasing the river Nanyuan Lin charm.
I went to the Yuhuashi picking area in a financial frenzy to try my luck. It was all big stones, with no gains and some disappointment. stay
Yuhua Stone Museum
