This trip originally planned to only experience the ancient charm and delicious food in Guangzhou. However, when I heard that Guangzhou and Quanzhou were not far away and there were bullet trains to ride there, I packed my bags and embarked on a journey to Yangcheng and Citong City.
Yangcheng--GuangzhouRoute: Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street--Chenjiaci--Yuexiu Park--Guangzhou Tower
When I go to an unfamiliar city, I always like to take a walk in the old streets. After arriving in Guangzhou, we immediately went to check in Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street.
Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is a place that Laoguang is accustomed to and tourists have shining eyes. It gathers Laoxiguan food culture, Lingnan food culture and Lingnan folk customs in Lingnan culture.
Lao Guang's consumption concept emphasizes "fair, beautiful and upright", which means buying satisfactory products at affordable prices. There are as many shops as stars in Shangxiajiu, but the prices are all approachable. It is indeed a good place to "buy, buy"!
The landmark building of Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is the thousand-meter-long Qilou Street. The pattern of the Qilou can be seen clearly from the street, that is, people live upstairs and shops are located downstairs. The arcade that crosses the street and rides across the air not only expands the living area for the residents upstairs, but also protects the rain and sun for pedestrians shopping and entering and leaving shops downstairs. Walking in it, you can fully realize that nothing can stop Guangzhou people's love for shopping...
Someone once said that you can immediately feel the alluring atmosphere of Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street after walking out of the subway entrance. The main reason is that there are many century-old brands in this old street, which reflect the folk customs and customs of Xiguan, and carry people's memories.
When you come to Shangxiajiu, there is no problem eating from morning to night. All kinds of morning tea, snacks, Cantonese delicacies, rice rolls, herbal tea, sugar water... If you don't bring a 128g stomach, you are really afraid that you won't be able to get out of the upper and lower nine!
As one of the eight scenic spots in Yangcheng, the Chenjia Temple is the largest, most complete and most beautifully decorated Chinese Qing Dynasty ancestral temple building in Guangdong. It is said that it was built by a joint venture of people surnamed Chen from 72 counties in Guangdong Province at that time. It was also the largest ancestral temple in the south.
The Chenjia Temple gathers the great achievements of Guangdong's folk architectural decoration art, cleverly using decorative arts such as wood carving, brick carving, stone carving, gray sculpture, pottery sculpture, copper and iron casting and color painting. It is commonly known as "three carvings and two sculptures, one color and one casting." With a wide range of themes, vivid shapes, rich colors and superb skills, it is a dazzling hall of folk decorative art.
I think the Chenjia Temple is the peak of Lingnan architecture. Every construction here is meaningful, follows the local natural climate laws and regulates the relationship between man and nature.
The ancient Xiguan mansion and modern high-rise buildings are intertwined. If you come to the Chen Family Temple and walk through the alleys with nine twists and turns, you may make an unexpected discovery.
Yuexiu Park is the central park of Guangzhou City. It connects with Baiyun Mountain to the barrier to the north of Guangzhou. Yuexiu Mountain is an important scenic spot in the "Eight Scenes of Yangcheng" in the past without exception. Yuexiu Mountain is included as an important scenic spot in the past.
When I first walked into Yuexiu Park, I was deeply impressed by its fresh air and lush green shade. I always felt that it was rare to find such a quiet environment, complete facilities, and most importantly, a large park open to citizens for free in the center of Guangzhou City.
Walking among the low slopes and woods of Yuexiu Mountain, I will occasionally encounter one or two old neighbors who are doing morning exercises. People greet each other and talk in a relaxed and witty manner, which makes people feel more cordial.
The Wuyang Stone Statue stands on the wooden shell of the park. It is a key protected cultural relic in Guangzhou City. It was built in 1959. The entire stone statue is carved from 130 pieces of granite. It is more than 10 meters high and has a volume of 53 cubic meters. This sculpture is regarded as a symbol of Yangcheng.
Walking in Guangzhou City, you will always subconsciously look for the figure standing on the banks of the Pearl River. She is a landmark building in Guangzhou and a symbol belonging to Guangzhou-the Guangzhou Tower.
"Small Man Waist" twisted up a colorful dress, and the Guangzhou Tower transformed into charming colorful lights, which always made people admire. Against the backdrop of the night, the Guangzhou Tower is like a graceful girl, dancing with colors and customs.
All the delicious food we eat and the scenery we see is actually just the tip of the iceberg in Guangzhou. It brings too many cultures and delicacies in this city waiting for everyone to explore. The most heartfelt sigh! Guangzhou is really a "delicious" city!
Citong City-QuanzhouI heard from a friend that Quanzhou is a famous port in Fujian and the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. It has a long history and diverse cultures. It is a good place with considerable heritage and worth tasting, so I decided to visit this city.
Route: West Street--Fujian-Taiwan Border Museum--Qingyuan Mountain
West Street is the longest-preserved ancient street in Quanzhou. The original ancient buildings and vibrant inns and bars interact with each other, giving a feeling of turning back the years.
Brahmin stone towers, Hindu stone pillars, lion-faced platforms, glowing Mioyin birds, two towers facing east and west, and thousand-year-old mulberry trees with lotus flowers, listen to your story every step.
As soon as I walked into this street, I was amazed. The ancient red brick house was so gorgeous! This commercial street actually still has the shadow of traditional southern Fujian culture, combining ancient and modern times and blending with each other.
This is where the gods are located, and there are thousand-year-old temples everywhere. The Buddhist holy places Kaiyuan Temple and Chengtian Temple, the Tianhou Palace that believes in Mazu, and even the Guanyue Temple where there is a lot of incense is the Qingjing Temple of Islam. All faiths coexist harmoniously.
The Fujian-Taiwan Affinity Museum contains the archaeological history, humanistic history, and social features of the entire Fujian and Taiwan. Of course, the highlight is the historical relationship between the mainland and Taiwan, the indivisible kinship and blood, and the history of political management.
The figures and models in the museum are my favorites. They make me feel like I am immersed in this distant history.
When you come to Quanzhou, you must visit Qingyuan Mountain, which is known as the "No. 1 Mountain in Penglai in the Fujian Sea" and has beautiful scenery.
The main scenic spot of Qingyuan Mountain is located 3 kilometers away from the northern suburbs of the city. Take bus No. k1; No. 3; No. 201; No. 202; No. 601; No. k602 to the "180 Hospital Crossing" stop. Tickets for the scenic spot are 70 yuan, and Quanzhou locals over 60 years old are free of charge, and foreign tourists over 60 years old are half ticket (ps; those who are exempted must carry valid documents).
During the last trip to Quanzhou, I left my time to Qingyuan Mountain, the mother mountain of Quanzhou people.
When I first entered Qingyuan Mountain, the Laojun Rock I first saw was also very cute!
Walking slowly in the mountains and forests and listening to the sound of nature is really a good place to empty your mind! I saw a ray of sunshine and took a photo of it casually. I didn't expect the effect to be so good!
Enjoy the tranquility in the mountains on the stone bench of Aituoyan, which is very suitable for relaxation!
Qingyuan Mountain and Tianhu are shining brightly. The water surface is sparkling, and the mountains and trees on the lake reflect the lake. Even if the weather changes, the lake will not stir up too much waves. In Qingyuan Mountain, like Tianhu, we have forgotten the sufferings of the world, and our hearts are like still water.
From Nantai Rock, you can overlook the panoramic view of Quanzhou, taking into account the rapid changes and vicissitudes of Quanzhou's Urban area. The blue sky and white clouds reflect each other. Seeing this scene, I instantly feel cheerful. Qingyuan Mountain and Quanzhou Mountain City are interdependent and reflect each other, like a bright pearl. I can't help but want to shout "Hello, Quanzhou!"
At the end of every trip, I always feel like I have not finished, especially this trip to Quanzhou. Strange scenes, different customs, firm beliefs, and free creatures are my preliminary feelings about Quanzhou. Laojun Yan often appears in my dreams, and I want to go back to Qingyuan Mountain to make a pot of tea and watch the flowers bloom and fall.
These days of travel are always sweet, and I will cherish all good memories in my heart forever.
