Since it was a sudden trip, it was difficult to make friends. Forget it, I would travel by myself! Start searching for all kinds of strategies. I am crazy about the road, so that I will not get lost in this unfamiliar city.

Ps: Regarding the Botanical Garden and Railway Park on the afternoon of Day 4th, the former was temporarily Amway by the hotel owner, and the latter was accidentally discovered. It is an unpopular place and a good photo shoot. If you want to refer to my strategy, I suggest that you place the Botanical Garden and Railway Park before your trip to Gulangyu Island (both on the island and convenient accommodation).
Transportation: Remember to bring a pair of comfortable shoes, because Gulangyu can only be walked purely, and it is very refreshing to walk for a day.

There are various interesting B & Bs in Xiamen, so I gave up the cold hotels and selected two B & Bs on the island and Gulangyu to take care of my daily life.
It is recommended to live on Huandao Road on the first day and live near Gulangyu Wharf on the second day.

Arriving in Xiamen at noon, the airport took the Airport Express directly to Huangcuo. I booked the first Huandao Road hotel: Laoyuanzi, a B & B transformed from an ancient house in southern Fujian. Let me talk about it here ~ Huangcuo is the most suitable place to stay on the island. Because the sea view here is bigger than the sea capital of Zengcuo 'an, Xiamen University, and you can see the sunrise (people along Haicheng City can skip it). However, I recommend living behind the main street, which is Maohou District. Because the main street is very lively. Sleep may be a little noisy. The B & B I am in is a good place to have peace and quiet in the middle of the busy city ~
OK~ It was noon after the hotel packed its luggage. For lunch, I chose a simple restaurant on the way out of the B & B: [Nice to Meet the Dining Bar] I didn't order staple foods such as pasta because the snacks on the menu all looked amazing. Lunch: Signature milk tea/cocoa muffins/chicken onion rings taste great. The milk tea is a freshly brewed oolong tea base. The sweetness is just right. The taste is very special when added with crushed Oreo. The muffins have a dense taste, and the cocoa flavor and chocolate paste are a perfect match, and they are a big part. The afternoon itinerary is taking photos by the beach + cycling around the island. Huangcuo Main Street is full of various specialty shops. It is not recommended to buy special products if you don't buy them and send them. You come out through the main street and the sea. The sea in Huangcuo is indeed vast. Although the weather is not very good, it can't stop the excitement of seeing the sea for the first time. However, there is one thing to pay attention to when taking pictures. The sea breeze is super, super strong, and it makes your hair fly. Don't bother. If you want to make a beautiful picture, you have to tie your hair or wear a hat.
There is not only a sea on the roundabout road. There are also long rubber bike paths. There are many bicycle vendors along Bicycle + Renhuandao Road. There is a double for three people. Consider it if you are traveling with multiple people. If you ride alone, it is recommended to use shared bicycles along the road, which is more cost-effective.

Since Xiamen University is only open after 12:00-14:00/17:30 from Monday to Friday, the most suitable time for me to travel on Wednesday is Nanputuo in the morning and Xiamen University at noon (Nanputuo is next to Xiamen University)
Bus 751 goes directly to the South Gate Station of Xiamen University, which can be entered directly. You can visit the Tianwang Hall, the Daxiong Hall, the Hall of Great Compassion, and the Sutra Pavilion one by one. Kojima Zhi Tea, its unique name attracted me to go in. This store can be Amway. First of all, it has window seats and is directly opposite the west gate of Xiamen University. Gulangyu can only be reached by boat. Remember to buy tickets in advance, the sooner the better, otherwise there may be no tickets that day. You can purchase tickets online by following the public account of Xiamen Ferry Co., Ltd. on WeChat. After boarding the ship on time, I arrived at Xiamen's label: Gulangyu in 25 minutes. Gulangyu suggested that you wouldn't be too busy if you stayed for one day, so I chose a B & B that was close to Neicuo 'ao Pier where I disembarked/had many good reviews: Good Morning Gulangyu. After getting off the boat, you found the hotel after navigation for 10 minutes. The hotel is located in Neicuo 'ao Snack Street, making it easy to find. At the end of the shooting, I was accidentally attracted by the aroma of coffee from a small shop called "More Coffee", so I decisively took the photographer brother in to consume + take a photo. Gulangyu is indeed a place full of surprises. A unique flowerpot shaped small door enters a different scene. This is an old-fashioned small house with tiled floors/dark green wooden windows/wall clocks/various old objects/bougainvillea in the courtyard that grow outside the walls. After taking pictures, I simply took a break in the store and ordered a cup of hot latte + mousse cake. The coffee was mellow and the cake was dense but not greasy. It was quite surprising that there was such a pure cafe in a tourist area. After chatting with the boss, I learned that this is also a mom-and-pop shop. The boss is a typical coffee enthusiast. He has gone from knowing nothing about coffee to being proficient in everything, relying on his obsession with coffee in his bones. The landlady is also keen on various handicrafts, so the two spent a lot of energy renting the first floor of this small house from overseas Chinese and building this sentimental cafe + handmade studio.

It was originally the last day. I decided to go to Riguang Rock in the morning to have a look at Xiamen in the morning, and then pack up my things and leave in the afternoon. As a result, while chatting with the innkeeper, I decided to go to the Wanshi Botanical Garden again. It is said that there is a rainforest world as lush as a tropical rainforest and with dry ice spray like a fairyland and a cactus area like Mexico. There are few tourists, which is perfect. There is still some time in the afternoon, so I decided to get up early and watch the sunrise at Sunlight Rock! So that I can spare some time to go to the Botanical Garden to find out.
Riguang Rock is open at 5 a.m., and the sunrise in Xiamen in winter is around 6:30 (you can check the local real-time sunrise weather in the Ink Weather app). If you only need to enter before 7:30, it is half price: 30 yuan per ticket. Riguang Rock is actually not high. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. It is 6 o'clock to reach the top of the mountain, but there are already seven or eight people waiting. It is worth mentioning that there are too many people close to sunrise, and basically there is no good viewing angle. Therefore, arriving 30 minutes earlier than sunrise is almost the latest. If you step on to watch the sunrise, you probably won't be able to squeeze in.
