4. Be sure to bring the most comfortable shoes! Most of the roads in Xiamen City are not wide, and cars are banned on Gulangyu Island!
5. Taxi rides in Xiamen are relatively expensive, with basically 20 fares. The subway runs for short periods of time and has little coverage. It is recommended to download the "Xiamen Palm Up" app to scan the code and take the bus. The minimum charge can be five yuan at a time;
6. Xiamen people are very enthusiastic, including drivers, and most of them are very friendly to tourists. However, please also choose a taxi software.
7. According to the driver who brought us here, Xiamen does not produce seafood locally, and most restaurants have a hygiene rating of C(worst)

However, I was very angry that the hotel that had made a reservation online before and promised to provide transportation told us that the room was full! No nonsense and go directly to the picture
It was a pain in the ass. It was indeed a tourist city. There were many hotels around the airport, but they quickly booked another hotel to solve the problem.
The next three days were to go to Gulangyu to take wedding photos, including signing the contract in the morning of the first day, taking photos all day long on the second day, and selecting photos in the afternoon of the third day. Not to mention here, but the free morning and afternoon can also be regarded as a one-day trip.
It seems that every city has a commercial pedestrian food street, such as Zhongyang Street in Harbin, Nanluogu Lane in Beijing, Confucius Temple in Nanjing, etc. The place where local food is most concentrated in Xiamen is Zhongshan Road.
Zhongshan Road is close to the ferry and the transportation is relatively convenient. We chose a nearby chain hotel. First, it was cost-effective and clean; second, if we wanted to go out and around when we were hungry at night, we could always walk Zhongshan Road.
Zhongshan Road is not just a commercial street. It extends in all directions and has various fork roads. You can go back as you walk, and you can go far as you walk. It is very worth exploring! The signature arcade building here is quite interesting, with every window different. The legendary eight cities are actually seafood markets nearby, and there are also many Internet celebrity delicacies. Please attach a food recommendation form here first! Not only food, there are also many specialty shops worth visiting near Zhongshan Road. For example, this [Ji Zhi Department Store]
It's a department store, but it's actually a very literary store. You can come here to take photos. There are five floors in total. There is a cat called Pork Floods on the top floor, but it was sleeping when we went. You can sit here, have some coffee and look at the view outside the window. There are also many plants on the top floor, which is very suitable for a slow-paced tour in Xiamen.
I ate a lot. Let's talk about Xiamen's drinks. The one I personally think is the best one. It's delicious and affordable.
Each serving is 8 yuan, and you can choose from milk tea base or honey base. The amount is very sufficient. Chewing red beans, coix seeds, fairy grass and peanuts together, it seems to have a chemical reaction, and the more you eat, the more delicious it becomes!
Also a special drink is Zhangzhou Siguo Tang. To be honest, this does not suit the taste of most people. It is not recommended to eat Siguo Tang on Zhongshan Road. If you want to eat it, it is recommended to go to the popular restaurant on Cat Street. Described later.
Then there is [Huang Zehe Peanut Soup]!
The store is very spacious, and there are a lot of people who come here to eat, including locals. It covers almost all Xiamen specialties, such as roasted meat rice dumplings, sand tea noodles, five-spice rolls, etc., but the most famous one is the egg and peanut soup here.
The soup is very rich and has a milky aroma. The peanuts look a lot, but they melt in the mouth. Personally, he didn't like the taste very much, so the two of them didn't finish a bowl. But those who like sweets can try this, or try other specialties of his home.

The store is not big, with super many people queuing up for 4 yuan per string, which is very big! I feel that I eat it very affordable and very fragrant. Maybe because the price of pork has increased, I haven't eaten meat so well in a long time.

It is also quite famous. It costs 20 yuan a serving of shrimp cakes and takes a while to make. In your spare time, you can watch the performance of the shop assistant selling Turkish ice cream nearby.
The shrimp cakes are still very delicious, and they are worth a try with the sauce they come with.

Each serving is 4 yuan, delicious and affordable. It can be said to be the best food to eat in Xiamen. The location is not easy to find, but you must come and try it!

Of course, there are not only these delicacies on Zhongshan Road. There are also some famous restaurants such as 1980 roasted pork dumplings and Ximen bamboo shoots jelly that I haven't had time to try. This is also the reason why I recommend booking a hotel near Zhongshan Road, because if you want to eat delicious food, Zhongshan Road is indeed the best choice.

You don't have to spend the day shopping or visiting other attractions. When you come back in the afternoon, you can have a night of shopping and eating in peace of mind.
Day 2: Official play! Botanical Garden and Hulishan Fort Surrounding
Looking at the title, you can tell that this day is a very full day.

2.1: Xiamen Garden Botanical Garden
Xiamen Botanical Garden is an Internet celebrity scenic spot in Xiamen. The "Rainforest Plant Area" and "Succulent Plant Area" are particularly recommended, which are especially suitable for taking photos and checking in for girls around you.🌴
Let's start from the west gate of Huyuan Road Botanical Garden! Since the Xiamen Botanical Garden is very large, the above two special attractions are the main tourist attractions!

There are 2 recommended rules for playing: ① Straight from the gate to the rainforest area → succulent area → Others: The advantage is that you can catch up with the spraying time early in the morning, and then slowly visit other parks. [Sugar Cube Ice] If you have never tasted Mango Ice, I suggest you try this place. It is also very famous, 30 per serving. Many of them are delicious.
Mian Bing is very special. You can sit in the store and eat it slowly.
Other foods such as fried rice, fried squid, fried chicken fillets, mushrooms and oyster rice noodles are not as delicious as the ones in the night market downstairs, but the prices are several times more expensive... For example, I am from Harbin, and I don't have any taste when I eat the oyster rice noodles here, and the seafood is far less delicious than the ones in Dalian!

Due to yesterday's injury, I couldn't try something too violent today, so I chose a one-day trip to Yunshuiyao Tulou

Although the tickets were booked in the middle of the night, fortunately the tour guide called at around 6 a.m. to say that they could pick them up, so we immediately packed up and set out after not sleeping for long!

Get in the car and go! It took nearly 4 hours to gather tourists from downtown Xiamen to reach Yunshuiyao Ancient Town in Zhangzhou. After lunch, it turned out to be a meal and dish that I hadn't eaten in a long time.
Since the small group we signed up for was only ten tourists, we entered the scenic spot first before other large groups to visit and visit, avoiding the flow of people.
[Note: Let's repeat the tour guide's reminder here. Tulou is an intangible cultural heritage and a nationally protected building. Most of them are pure wooden structures. In the past two years, two Tulou were burned down due to tourists smoking, so most Tulou are only allowed to visit the first floor and smoking is strictly prohibited. The people in the ancient town are very hospitable and will invite them upstairs to visit, or hand you cigarettes and tea. Even visiting upstairs costs money, so try to refuse.
[Yunshuiyao Ancient Town] was originally known as Changjiao Village, but it changed its name because of Yunshuiyao's film and television works. Most of the people in the village have the surname Jian.

I think it is very reasonable. Moreover, this kind of pure fun group can have a good time without buying anything. Even if they don't buy from the tour guide, they have to go to many places to buy something else.

[Qinyuan] is located on Hero Mountain. However, due to the baptism of large-scale typhoons, most of the landscapes of the Qinyuan are closed and prohibited from entering. The Pianist Memorial Hall and the Hundred Bird Garden are no longer open.
