We arrived at the cruise ship terminal after lunch. The on-site ticket purchase was only available at 4 p.m., so we waited for more than two hours. When the time came, we lined up to board the ship. It was usually a two-story boat. It was recommended to go up to the second floor and sit aside. You can enjoy the scenery on the way well. It takes about 2 minutes to arrive. Since I arrived on the island in the evening, I disembarked and navigated directly to the booked hostel to drop off my luggage. I even took photos on the way to find a hotel, and I felt pretty good.

Get off the boat from Sanqiutian Wharf, turn right and go uphill, and you will reach the most beautiful corner. Many people queue up to check in and decide by the time. If time is tight, they can come back when there are few people. After all, the whole island is not big, so it won't take long to come back after a round trip. I see many people taking wedding photos when I transfer everywhere, and there are quite a lot of wedding photos on this island.

Walking to the left of the dock is the commercial street, where all kinds of snacks, specialties and specialties are available here. There are many things like Danxiang biscuits, Ajizai cakes, shredded eel, etc. Among them are Shacha noodles, bamboo shoots jelly, oyster fried, shrimp noodles, roasted meat dumplings, etc. These snacks are basically the staple food for me and my brother every day. After all, there are too many delicious specialty snacks, and it is difficult to find such authentic snacks in other places.

Get up early in the morning to pack your things, store them at the hotel before going out, and come back to pick them up after you have finished playing. Because there are slopes everywhere, hauling luggage will be very troublesome.

I walked through various alleys as I wanted, climbed the stairs, and reached the beach. Under the Riguang Rock, because there were many people when I went there, I didn't climb the Riguang Rock. I sat quietly by the beach and admired the highest point from bottom to top.

Behind us is Sunlight Rock, and we see a large stone there.

There are fees for some things at attractions. If you want to visit more attractions, it is recommended to buy a combination ticket discount. You only need a single ticket for a single attraction.

The joint ticket includes five major attractions: Riguang Rock, Shuzhuang Garden, Haoyue Garden, Organ Museum, and International Engraving Hall.

Among them, Riguangyan is the highest point in Gulangyu Island, the best place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Climb it up and see the whole island. However, there are many people who need to queue up and only accommodate 30 people at a time. There is also a Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall in the Riguangyan Scenic Area, which can be visited from the mountain down from Riguangyan.

Shuzhuang Garden was originally a private villa and was later opened as a garden. It has a history of a century. The biggest feature of this garden is "the garden is on the sea, and the sea is in the garden."

The museum is divided into one museum and two museums. There is a time period for explanation, so you can watch the time in advance before going.

Haoyue Garden is a Zheng Chenggong Memorial Park. The biggest attraction is the 5-story statue. This is one of the symbols of Gulangyu Island and can be seen even by tourists in Xiamen. After sunset, you can enter the park for free to enjoy the night view on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. On the other side are the Xiamen Twin Towers and Yanwu Bridge.
