The total mileage of the high-speed railway from Xi'an North Railway Station to Chengdu East Railway Station is 658 kilometers, with 22 stops. It is the first major artery crossing the Qinling Mountains with a span of 135 kilometers; there are 304 teams with a cumulative length of 250 kilometers; and there are 1001 bridges, of which a single bridge is as long as 23.8 kilometers. The Xicheng High-speed Railway runs at a speed of 250 kilometers per hour, shortening the train mileage that originally took more than 11 hours to more than 3 hours. The Xicheng High-speed Railway can be described as a major miracle in the history of railway construction in my country. Although "the Shu Road is difficult and difficult to reach the blue sky" has become history, judging from satellite aerial photography, it is magnificent and smooth through the Qinling Mountains in one go. It is not difficult to imagine the arduous and magnificent project, praise the builders of the project, and praise the great motherland! [Qiang][Qiang][Namaste][666][Blessing][Fireworks][Celebration][Fighter] The entire line was officially opened to traffic on December 6, 2017. One and a half years later, 2019 We also experienced it for the first time on July 26; we felt extremely happy and happy.
D1. I booked the noon bullet train for 263 yuan in advance through Ctrip, arrived at Xi'an North High-speed Railway Station one hour in advance, and got on the train on time. On the train, everyone passed the time with beer, drinks, snacks and pastries. They chatted happily and arrived in Chengdu in more than three hours. The bus costs 2 yuan to check in to the hotel, and the hotel costs 125 yuan to be artistic, comfortable and convenient. Downstairs is the hot pot restaurant. Put down your luggage and go straight to the theme; because there are still seats when you go early, and the hot pot is served in time, it tastes really pure, authentic and enjoyable!
After eating hot pot for 125 yuan per capita, I wanted to walk to Kuanzhai Alley to play, but I went in the opposite direction and had to take a taxi for 10 yuan to reach Kuanzhai Alley Street. Go in from the corner of the wide alley, walk through the small alley in the middle, and reach the narrow alley; it is full of snacks, food, souvenirs and gadgets, and Sichuan opera sketches are also among them. It is completely an old street in Sichuan that travels through time and space. However, according to taxi drivers, local people generally don't come to play, but just concentrate on satisfying the eyes and tastes of foreign tourists who are short on time. As we walked through this crowded street, we were sweating and feeling very friendly. It was like arriving at Hui Street in Xi'an.
Kuanzhai Alley is located near Changshun Street, Qingyang District, Chengdu City. It is a relatively large-scale ancient street left over from Chengdu. It is all antique courtyard houses made of indigo bricks and tiles; it is a national AA-level free tourist attraction.
The tour lasted for about 1 hour, then walked back to the hotel for half an hour to rest, and waited for tomorrow's journey. We also booked a one-day trip for giant pandas and Dujiangyan through Ctrip for 269 yuan; tour guide Xiao Wu called and communicated in advance and arranged a vehicle to pick us up at the hotel tomorrow morning.
D2. After having some breakfast, I went downstairs in advance to wait for the bus in accordance with the agreement with the tour guide Xiao Wu. For the convenience of visiting Wuhou Temple Jinli the next day, I checked out the hotel here; I booked the hotel on Wuhou Temple Street through Ctrip for 101 yuan, so I took my luggage with me. The ride was smooth. Along the way, the tour guide Xiao Wu introduced the day's itinerary and precautions in detail, as well as local customs and characteristics of the scenic spots.
First of all, we came to the giant panda research and development base, and what we saw was a crowded queue, which added to the lively weather; when we stepped into the scenic spot, we saw a different scene, with lush green trees, winding paths, and large-scale breeding and training bases. Due to the large number of people, we chose to only look at the most famous lunar delivery room. It was still crowded and difficult. We didn't even complete the entire journey around the venue, so we had to return to the assembly place the same way. However, the naive, lazy and leisurely attitude of the panda babies still makes people nostalgic and like to smile comfortably.
The base is located on a shallow hill on the side of Futou Mountain in the northern suburbs of Chengdu, 10 kilometers away from the urban area. There is a wide Panda Avenue connected to the urban area. There are scientific research buildings, open research laboratories, veterinary hospitals, animal houses and panda activity venues, etc. It is a non-profit organization specializing in endangered wildlife research, breeding, conservation education and educational tourism. The base uses gardening techniques to simulate the wild ecological environment of giant pandas, with a green coverage rate of 96%, forming green bamboo and wood, singing birds and fragrant flowers, and fresh air. It integrates natural mountain scenery and beautiful artificial landscapes to create an ecological environment suitable for giant pandas and a variety of rare wild animals. An ecological environment for survival and reproduction. Coming here is indeed worthwhile.
At noon, tour guide Xiao Wu took everyone to the nearby Panda Restaurant, which was a very good group meal. The taste is moderate, the table is beautiful, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the environment is spacious and beautiful.
After lunch, I drove for about an hour to Dujiangyan. The transportation fee for the scenic spot was 50 yuan per person.
The scenic spot is built along mountains and rivers and is very large in scale. Located on the Minjiang River in the west of the Chengdu Plain, this world-famous ancient Chinese water conservancy project has become a famous national 5A-level tourist scenic spot. The scenery is beautiful, with many cultural relics and historic sites. Temples, temples, bridges, passes, gardens, etc. are all integrated into a beautiful giant picture scroll. Dujiangyan was built in 256 BC. It is by far the oldest and only surviving grand water conservancy project in the world, characterized by water diversion without dams. For more than 2,000 years, it has been playing a role in flood control and irrigation, making the Chengdu Plain a land of abundance with abundant land and beautiful water. Therefore, Li Bing and his son who led the construction of Dujiangyan were regarded as the masters of Sichuan by the world. Later generations built Erwang Temple here to commemorate Li Bing and his son. Its water control concept of "obeying nature" and "harmony between man and nature" is unmatched and is praised by the world. Due to its long history, large scale, reasonable layout, scientific operation, and harmonious integration with the environment, the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project has outstanding universal value in terms of history and science, and has become a rare and famous world cultural heritage.
Standing on the Yulei Pavilion, the highest point in Dujiangyan, you can overlook the spectacular and perfect scenery and layout of the entire Dujiangyan. There are also Anlan Cable Bridge, also known as "Anlan Bridge" and "Couple Bridge". Known as the "Five Great Bridges in Ancient China", it is the most characteristic landscape in Dujiangyan. Its historical allusions have attracted the admiration of everyone. There is a saying that couples join hands to cross the bridge and have no worries about trouble. Therefore, the bridge was crowded with tourists, and many couples and couples passed by hand.
After a 4-hour tour, return to Chengdu by car and enjoy a pleasant break. Take a taxi for 10 yuan to check in at the hotel. The hotel is in a bustling area and there are many Sichuan hot pot restaurants. We came to a chain hot pot restaurant recommended by the tour guide Xiao Wu. It's great to order the pot and serve the dishes and eat in a while. The beer and drinks are washed away after a day's fatigue. The average person eats 73 yuan until the store closes. Staying in the hotel is also small and convenient, with thoughtful and satisfactory service.
D3. I slept until I woke up naturally. After breakfast for 10 yuan, I took a taxi to Wuhou Temple for 10 yuan. The driver wondered,"It took so long to walk there, why did you still take a taxi?" Haha, we also want to save time to avoid the dilemma of getting the wrong direction the night before yesterday. We have to catch a bus in the afternoon.
When you come to Wuhou Temple Park, you can enter for free and have a beautiful environment. It has become a good place for citizens to exercise and take a walk in the morning. The temple courtyard charges a fee, 50 yuan per person and only receives cash, but you feel a little uncomfortable.
Wuhou Temple (also known as Han Zhaolie Temple) is a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national AAAA tourist attraction, and a national first-class museum. Located on Wuhou Temple Street, Wuhou District, Chengdu City, it is the only temple in China where monarch and minister worship together. It is the most famous memorial site for Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and the heroes of the Shu Han Dynasty. It is also the most influential museum of the Three Kingdoms relics in the country, enjoying the reputation of the "Holy Land of the Three Kingdoms."
Connected with Jinli Folk District, Jinli is part of the Wuhou Temple Museum (Three Kingdoms Historical Relics Area, Jinli Folk District, and West District). The building is based on the style of Sichuan folk houses in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It promotes and inherits the oldest and most commercial street and city culture in Western Shu, and condenses the essence of Chengdu life: teahouses, inns, restaurants, bars, stage, flavored snacks, handicrafts, and local specialties, fully demonstrating the unique charm of Sichuan folk customs. It is a must-visit place, must-taste, must-see scenery, and must-experience style for foreigners visiting Chengdu.
Playing in the Wuhou Temple for about an hour, you can find beautiful scenery everywhere. The trees are lined with trees, ancient cypresses are towering into the sky, flowing water is gurgling, and the red walls reflect green bamboos. It is even more elegant and solemn. There is also a sense of romance inside. Time is far from enough. Learning historical knowledge and allusions, taking photos of beautiful scenery, I still had to leave. When you come to Jinli Street from the Temple Courtyard, you can feel like a dragonfly skimming on the water, and you are also infected by the deep and rich folk customs. Due to the time constraints, I took a taxi back to the hotel and had a special Sichuan lunch. I was a little disappointed in the sumptuous but not the last lunch."Goodbye Chengdu, goodbye to delicious food Chengdu, goodbye to beautiful Chengdu, goodbye to the enthusiastic Chengdu people.
After lunch, I washed up, rested and checked out, took the subway to Chengdu East Railway Station, and then transferred to the return high-speed train booked at 263 yuan. I successfully arrived in Xi'an in about 4 hours, and then transferred to the subway to go home; a pleasant journey ended successfully.
I would like to thank all the Chengdu people I met in real life or on the Internet, travel agency order pickers, tour guides, hotel service personnel, restaurant and bus service personnel, taxi drivers, scenic area staff, and people asking for directions on the way. They are all so truthful, meticulous and efficient, and they all give us the help we need. Beautiful Chengdu, because you will bloom even more wonderfully! Blessings bless you! Bless Chengdu!!
The per capita cost of this trip was 1350 yuan, which was very worth it!
