The northwest has always been the place I yearn for, and the mystery of the Western Regions always surrounds my heart! The sound of camel bells and the vast yellow sand drowned countless history. I also want to experience the scene of "wearing a cotton-padded jacket in the morning, wearing gauze in the afternoon, and eating watermelon while holding the stove" written in the book in primary school. Finally, there is time to slowly unveil the mystery. This 14-day trip also brings a different experience! There is a song that says taking a train to Lhasa, starting from Wuhan to Turpan, and taking a train for about 37 hours. Just taking the train to Turpan, there are mountains and rivers along the way, and the scenery along the way is extremely beautiful! Because Xinjiang's routes are long and the scenic spots are scattered, the ride time is long and the landscape along the way is relatively simple. It is either next door or high mountains. Please be prepared to endure hardship. Train number reference: T306 times 19:08---08: 25 37 hours 17 minutes Hard sleeper: 554 yuan Z183 times 20:16---07: 07 34 hours 51 minutes Hard sleeper: 576 yuan Z230 times 22:48---08: 50 34 hours 02 minutes Hard sleeper: 554 yuan Notes: The Northwest is a land full of mystery and strong local characteristics. It not only has thousands of years of cultural relics, but also the vast Gobi Desert and yellow sand; There are vast lakes and grasslands, but due to historical and natural constraints, the economy of the northwest is relatively backward, far away from the developed coastal provinces of Guangdong, and the tourist routes are relatively difficult. In order to make your trip to the northwest a complete and pleasant one, to allow you to better experience the infinite charm of the northwest and the ancient Silk Road, and to make full preparations before traveling in the northwest, the special instructions are as follows: Qinghai/Gansu: Because Qinghai belongs to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ethnic minority settlement, the natural and economic conditions are relatively backward. Due to its high altitude, Xining has no scorching heat in summer, the average temperature throughout the year is low, and accommodation and catering conditions are limited. The northwest is relatively dry, so please always pay attention to replenish water, drink more water, and eat more fruits. Ultraviolet rays are strong at high altitudes. Please prepare sun hats, sunscreen, sunglasses and other sunscreens. The temperature difference in northwest China is large, and the temperature in the desert is changeable. Please spare a thick coat, string trousers, light shoes, and umbrella. The Silk Road Line is a long journey, the scenic spots are scattered, and the ride time is long. Be mentally prepared. Because there are many ethnic groups who believe in Islam in Gansu and Qinghai, the diet is mainly beef and mutton, and pigs are taboo. Don't talk about pigs when interacting with them, otherwise you will not be treated kindly because of impoliteness. Compatriots from ethnic minorities are more straightforward and try not to bargain if they do not buy goods when they are free. Please prepare commonly used medicines such as cooling medicine, cold medicine, diarrhea medicine and antifebrile medicine. Due to different tastes, you can bring your own delicious pickles, biscuits, etc. Text: D1-2 Wuhan---Turpan North Wuhan Take a train to Huozhou Turpan to enjoy the scenery along the way.

After a long rest on the train, D3 Turpan one-day tour finally arrived! After getting off the train, there will be a bus from the tourism company waiting for us. After everyone is here, we will take the bus to Turpan, passing through Shili Salt Lake and Dabancheng Wind Power Station. In the morning, we will first visit Huoyan Mountain, the North Road of the Ancient Silk Road, where red sand, conglomerate and mudstones make up a unique landform.
After visiting the oasis, Kanerjing, the source of life. This unique underground water conservancy project embodies the wisdom of ancient people.
In the afternoon, we will visit the vineyard bases built in Turpan in various places. There is also the world's largest naan pit. Since we are here, we will definitely check in for this delicious food!
After dinner in the vineyard, drive back to Urumqi! The sun is still high at six or seven o'clock! D4 Tianshan Tianchi
Tianshan Mountain has always been an influence in TV dramas, chivalrous and tender! After breakfast, take a bus to the "Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area". As soon as you get off the bus, you can experience the reflection of the snowy peaks, the surrounding spruce trees, the clear water like a mirror, and the picturesque scenery. Hurry up and take a breath of immortal qi to prolong your life (haha, just kidding)
When you return from Tianshan Mountain, you have to train from Urumqi to Liuyuan. There was no choice. The rest this night was on the train, so we can't blame others for saying that they got on the bus, slept, and got off the bus to pee! Unless you have a lot of time, Xinjiang is originally vast and sparsely populated, and the distance between scenic spots is long, there is no way to help it! Train number reference: Urumqi-Liuyuan K1352 22:06-08:16+1/K2060 22:28-08:26+ 1D5 Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes didn't have a good rest all night, and they got up very early. After barely washing up, I got off the train. After getting off the train, I immediately took the bus to Dunhuang. It was another two-hour drive! Going to Dunhuang must be to see the legendary Mogao Grottoes. In 1900, Taoist Wang brought the first ray of modern sunshine to the Mogao Grottoes, and the Mogao Grottoes came into public view. Although most of the rare treasures were plundered by Western powers in the late Qing Dynasty, what remains is not difficult to see the politics, economy and culture of China's prosperous times at that time. This is also a glorious chapter in the history of ancient Chinese art (remind everyone, Mogao Grottoes The flow of people is restricted every day and only accepts 6000 people! Fortunately, we are traveling with a group, so the travel agency has arranged everything in advance. If you are traveling freely, you must book in advance! It's best not to prepare for buying tickets on the spot, there is basically no chance)
In the afternoon, we will go to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring. The two scenic spots are like twins. Although Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring are not so vast and spectacular, the sunset setting in the west is also a different kind of beautiful scenery!
After that, there is free activity time to experience the desert customs. At night, you can visit the Shazhou Night Market by yourself to experience the folk customs of Northwest China.
D6 Jiayuguan I have always believed that the best way to understand a city's experience is to visit its museums. There, you can get the most authoritative answer. Of course, the fact that it is free is also very attractive to me
The Dunhuang Museum is not very big, but it has a rich collection, which is enough to tell the history of the place from the past to the present. You can also directly listen to voice explanations when scanning the code, which is very convenient.
After lunch, drive to Jiayuguan, the western steel city. On the way, you can overlook the ruins of the Han Great Wall beacon towers, the magical Brunji Karst Yadan Landforms, and the vast western desert Gobi. Check into the hotel upon arrival. D7 After breakfast in Jiayuguan, visit the western starting point of the Great Wall, climb the "No. 1 Pass in the World" Jiayuguan Tower, look south at the snow-capped Qilian Mountains, and look north at the rolling Montenegro Mountains. Climb the Jiayuguan Tower. The weather is particularly good and I see the stretching Qilian Mountains. Although I can't touch the Hexi Corridor of the Ancient Silk Road, the desert is lonely and the Mengjiang Nu crying for the Great Wall are indeed the most authentic feelings. A little bit of soil is made of the flesh and blood of the soldiers.
After lunch, we drove to Zhangye, named Zhangye because of the fact that "Zhang Guozhang supports the arms and connects to the Western Regions". Only then did I appreciate the amazing craftsmanship of nature. I met several dogs on the road and bought sausages to feed the dogs. The scenery in the northwest is infinitely beautiful, only near dusk.
D8 After breakfast in Qinghai Lake, take a bullet train or car or train to Xining City. After arriving in Xining, take a bus to Qinghai Lake after lunch. It passes through Riyue Mountain, the natural boundary line between the Loess Plateau and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and passes through China's only river flowing from east to west-Daotang River. After arriving, visit Qinghai Lake, China's largest inland saltwater lake (no less than 2 hours) to appreciate the vastness and blue color of Qinghai Lake. In this clean field, it should be a happy thing to be a yak, or a bird, or a piece of grass!
After returning to Xining to stay at the hotel, you can freely move around the city at night. After breakfast, D9 Zhongwei took a bus to the six major Huangjiao temples in Qinghai Province. The birthplace of Pope Huang's master of Kaba-Tar Temple. There was a tower first and a temple then, hence the name Taer Temple. When I entered Ta 'er Temple, it was covered with dark clouds. After quietly making a small wish in my heart, I came out with a sunny day. Here, the believers waiting for their heads to be long left a deep mark on the wooden floor of the corridor; the monks who pinched the crispy oil flowers exchanged their health for months of blooming; the constantly rotating prayer wheel circulated the world's beautiful wishes.
Later, take a hard sleeper by car or train to Zhongwei. D10 After breakfast, Yinchuan took a bus to visit the nationally renowned sand control project-Shapotou Tourist Area, a national 5A-level scenic spot that combines deserts, Yellow River, mountains and oases. It combines beautiful scenery in the south of the Yangtze River and Xiongqi in the northwest. Visit the world-famous sand control project and experience the beauty of "the desert is lonely and the long river is setting sun".
Afterwards, I took a bus to Yinchuan and went to the "Oriental Pyramid" Xixia Mausoleum (Xixia Mausoleum Area, Xixia Museum, Statue Hall). The Xixia Mausoleum at the foot of Helan Mountain lasted just 189 years from its beginning to its demise. I stepped on the land of the royal mausoleum and felt the vicissitudes of life. Helan Mountain, which has been mentioned countless times in geography textbooks, is shocking and connected to the Gobi. The desolate feeling of the desert is suddenly a primitive power in the west. "In this world, mountains and seas are connected and majestic mountains are continuous, just like life moving forward with heavy burdens."
D11 After breakfast in Xi'an, visit Shuidonggou (real-life experience, Tibetan soldiers cave, luxury cruise ship, carriage, camel cart, sightseeing bus), which is listed as one of the "Top 100 Archaeological Discoveries of the Most Significance of Chinese Civilization", recording the endless activity trajectory of human beings for 30,000 years. In the Shuidonggou Site Museum, fossils from the late Paleolithic period more than 50,000 years ago, as well as the skulls of Homo habilis are displayed. Fossils of wild donkeys, rhinos, hyenas, antelopes, corner sheep, cattle, pigs and other animals have been found here. More than 11,000 stone tools of various types, including women who used hair ornaments, which shows that the ancients at that time already had an aesthetic outlook.
Later, I took a bus to Zhenbeibao Western Film and Television City, the birthplace of "Red Sorghum". This is the birthplace of the movie "Red Sorghum". Chinese films have traveled from here to the world. Hundreds of films such as "Evil of the East" and "New Longmen Inn" have been filmed.
After the tour, take the train to Xi'an in the evening and stay on the train at night. D12 Lintong picked up the train early and went to Lintong (about 1 hour). Visit Huaqing Chi, the royal cold shelter palace, which is a witness to the love between Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Longji and Imperial Consort Yang. The ruins of Tang Dynasty's imperial soup. You can also visit the soup pond where Imperial Consort Yang bathed. You can experience the beautiful scenery of "spring cold gives bath to Huaqing Chi, and hot spring water washes and condenses fat". See the Wujian Hall, where the "Xi'an Incident" took place that shocked China and abroad
After lunch, visit the Eight Wonders of the World-the Terracotta Warriors of Qin Shi Huang (it is the burial pit of the Qin Mausoleum) and feel the grandeur brought by the army and horses.
After returning to Xi'an, you can move freely with your companions at night and enjoy the beautiful night view of the famous cultural city.
D13 Wuhan sleeps until it wakes up naturally in the morning, gathers at a designated time and takes a bus to visit the Ming City Wall (no less than 40 minutes), the landmark building of Xi'an City-the largest and most completely preserved ancient city building in China.
Later, I went to Bell and Drum Tower Square, and then I freely moved around Xi'an Ancient Culture Street-Hui Snack Street. When the lanterns were first put on, every street in Huifang was filled with aroma and diners gathered.
After the trip, take the train and leave Xi'an to end the pleasant journey of the five northwest provinces! Reference train Xi'an-Wuchang K318 19:07-08:53+1 D14 Arrive in Wuhan, end a pleasant trip, and return to your warm home.
