In the name of a ten-year-old graduation party, I took my family to visit Shanxi and Shaanxi during the National Day. It's better to leave some words while it's hot to bring a successful end to the happy formation of these few days.
1. Itinerary arrangements
I had been struggling with whether to go out to play on National Day. After all, people follow the crowd and don't want to be crowded. Moreover, hotel prices soared during the National Day period, and I didn't want to go against the trend. But I didn't want to waste a Golden Week. Fortunately, I had a 10-year graduation party, which gave me reassurance that I had to go out. Since we have to go to Taiyuan, Shanxi (starting from Chengdu), which is more than 1000 kilometers away, Shanxi-Shaanxi-Sichuan is the best route. This line has to be passed by on the return journey. This is the first time I take children out. I don't want to travel too much, so I quickly settled on the destinations of Pingyao and Xi'an. (In fact, I had been struggling with Hukou Waterfall or Huashan for a long time before. If I went alone, I would definitely go back to these two places. But I finally refused to take care of my family, especially the children. The transportation of Hukou Waterfall was too inconvenient; my wife didn't like climbing mountains, and the children couldn't climb them)
2. Accommodation and Transportation
Transportation: The child has never taken a plane before. She thought this would be her first plane trip. The usual ticket cost was 3-500, but it soared to more than 1000 on National Day. I didn't want to spend a few thousand dollars in vain. Now high-speed trains have been opened along the route. It takes only more than seven hours from Chengdu to Taiyuan. I decisively chose high-speed trains (2 adults and 1 child, high-speed trains save more than 3000 yuan than airplanes, and it's still best for working people). I have to sigh at the strength of my motherland. I remember that every time I went to school ten years ago, I would have to take the train for two days and one night, crowded in a green car, and I couldn't even access the toilet, and I didn't dare to use my mobile phone (keep the electricity and get off the bus). Contact person). Today's high-speed rail is wide, fast, comfortable, and can also be charged, praising the motherland's high-speed rail technology.
Although the technology has developed, it is really difficult to book tickets. Finally, after many waiting bookings, I finally bought all the tickets. However, none of the five rides I took was a D/F ticket, which was a little disappointed.
Accommodation: When traveling for the whole family, comfort is the most important. Four-star hotels are the first choice. Ctrip searched everywhere and found that there are too few four-star hotels within 500 yuan for National Day. Taiyuan is relatively good. Prices in Pingyao and Xi'an have doubled directly. Pingyao is the most exaggerated, triple the number. Holy crap. In the face of money, I can only bow my head. After repeated comparisons by Ctrip, the three hotels we finally selected were quite successful, and the whole family was still relatively comfortable to live in. This price is only four-star in Taiyuan. Pingyao and Xi'an can only choose budget express hotels. This is also the first time I have stayed at Home Inn and Super 8 at around 500 yuan. It is really exaggerated, so it is best to travel off-peak.
3. Journey account
D1-Taiyuan (Arrived at the hotel, met a classmate for the first time)
Arrived in Taiyuan at 23 pm on October 1, 10 years later, I came to this second hometown where I had been studying for 4 years. I still remember the tears in the eyes of my classmates when I saw off at the train station, and an inexplicable sense of familiarity came. I arrived at Taiyuan South Railway Station for the first time and was really disappointed with the design of this station. Several trains arrived in Taiyuan at 23 o'clock. There were so many people that the 3Km surrounding the station was jammed and there was no way to get a taxi. Didi queued up for 100 people to leave the station. It was the same situation, and I felt desperate. Because there were children, the Li Orange special car simply increased the price by 30 before leaving. On the way, I chatted a lot with my master. When I learned that I was attending a reunion of 10 years old and talked to me about the changes in Taiyuan, they all felt sorry for Taiyuan's stagnation. The coal industry is depressed, it is unable to retain people, the economy is developing poorly, and the subway has been built for N years, but it is still not open... I arrived at the hotel near the early morning and met about 10 students at the front desk who had just returned from KTV. It was so cordial and felt that everyone had not changed.
When I stayed at the hotel, I was shocked that the accommodation fee of more than 200 yuan on National Day could have such an environment. It should be about 45 square meters, and the toilet is huge. For some reason, when I saw this accommodation environment, I felt like I had seen Taiyuan's decline in the years. Presumably this hotel should be a hot hotel in those years when the coal economy was booming.
D2-Taiyuan (10th Anniversary Alumni Association)
After getting up, go straight to Liuxiang Qingheyuan, a halal restaurant, and taste Taiyuan's famous snacks, Taotou and Shaomai (called Shaomai in Sichuan). Of course, they must be paired with two liang of rice wine. The rice wine is warm and very charming. I'm not used to brains anyway, but my wife likes it very much. I always feel that it smells like mutton. The wheat was very delicious, and three people ate 3 taels and enjoyed it. Special mention is Shanxi vinegar, which is so fragrant.
After breakfast, I planned to experience the 835 ride to school that I used to often take, but unfortunately, there was not enough time, so I had to take a taxi to the school for a meeting. It was no longer the same road as going to school ten years ago. It was wide and clean Riverside Road Walking along the river, the scenery was good. Although Taiyuan's economic development is slow, the environment has become better and better over the years. If I choose environment and economic development, I will not hesitate to choose the environment.
After arriving at the school, I saw more classmates and friends who had been in for many years. Everyone was very kind. The dormitory had been equipped with access control, so you couldn't go in and out casually. The 502 photos were taken downstairs, and then everyone visited Bolin Garden and Erlong Mountain together. The school's environment is as good as ever. Of course, many locals come to play during holidays. Erlong Mountain is not high and children can easily climb up it. It is really a good place for weekend leisure. The fruits at the foot of the mountain are simply too cheap. The dates are only 2.5 kilograms (Sichuan 6 yuan).
Of course, the school canteen is at noon. Only when you leave school will you know how good the school canteen is. There are many varieties, and there are foods from all over the country, and the prices are cheap. I bought my favorite stir-fried knives and chicken drumsticks noodles when I was in school. They cost 5 yuan each. The portions were so large that I wanted to complain about it. They felt that each piece was more than half a pound (a classmate even asked my aunt to order less noodles, so I couldn't finish it). Chicken leg noodles are my favorite food at school. I spent half a month eating them without getting tired of them.
On the 5th afternoon, the secretary and vice president of the hospital received us and felt that we were too respected. It was even more rare for the department leaders to receive us during the National Day holiday. Deep in my heart, I sincerely thank the leaders of the academy. (In fact, North China University in other provinces feels like a pheasant university, but our school's military industry majors are really good. Aviation and military engineering are used in many important equipment from major countries. The Military Engineering Group and Aerospace Science and Industry Group come to the school every year for special recruitment. Many scientific research institutes under these two groups are full of alumni. Of course, our major-communication engineering is also relatively good. Although it is not as good as the four major post and telecommunications colleges, we can still squeeze into the top 30 majors in the country.) After the symposium, visiting the campus, playing basketball, and forming teams to play games on the front steps of the main building, it seemed like going back to college time.
In the evening, the school had a dinner at Longquan Restaurant. The place where we had break-up meals was still delicious. After 10 years, I had a happy meal after talking and laughing. Everyone's alcohol intake has increased a lot. After the meal, I went back to the hotel, said goodbye to everyone one by one, and looked forward to the next ten years.
D3-Taiyuan (snacks, shopping to Pingyao)
For breakfast, we went to Liuxiang, where Hao Gang, who was busy checking in, had a lot of business, and there was another long queue. However, the taste is really good. It feels like it is the best mutton zagai I have eaten in my life. After a bowl of soup, my whole body is hot and I feel like the Ren and Du meridians have been opened. Women just love shopping everywhere they go. There are still a few hours before the next train stop after breakfast. It happened to be in Liuxiang. His wife started shopping mode. Two boxes couldn't stop the enthusiasm for shopping. Of course, she also bought two pieces of super cost-effective autumn clothes (It turns out that these two pieces of clothes played a big role, and the county cooled down wildly, so they just put them in use)
D3-Pingyao (visit Pingyao City again, see Pingyao again)
After arriving in Pingyao, I stayed at Home Inn (the most expensive Home Inn I have ever stayed at, 542). After going to the entrance of "Seeing Pingyao Again" at night, you can enter the ancient city directly from Yongdingmen (I bought a Pingyao Ancient City Pass from Ctrip before). It is free to enter the city. Only restaurants, county government offices, city walls, escort agencies, etc. need tickets. Yongdingmen Street is more of the indigenous people in the ancient city. Although it is not as prosperous as the four streets of east, west, north and south, it has more of the original flavor of the ancient city. Different from the ancient towns in the south, Pingyao is more rugged in the north, rough without modification, with mud walls, brick walls, arches, and unique to the north. Because I have been to Pingyao in 2007, when I was a tour guide for the whole family, the attractions to see were very clear: County Government, Rishengchang Ji, East China's No. 1 Escort Bureau, and City Wall. These four must-see, and the rest are up to time. Today, I visited the county government office and Rishengchangji, and there have been almost no changes in the past 12 years. Therefore, I think the ancient city is a bit old and needs to be maintained, such as adding more lights in some dark rooms. After visiting the county government and Rishengchangji today, what impressed me the most was Rishengchangji's "Huitong World" plaque, the starting point of contemporary banking (so I watched two more episodes of Qiao's Courtyard that night. If you have time, you can watch it, 2006 CCTV Overscreen Drama, History of Shanxi Merchants Development). For dinner, we headed straight to Tiankuiyuan Hotel, which was ranked first in the food forest. In order not to delay the performance of "Seeing Pingyao Again" in the evening, we could only choose Dejuyuan, which ranked second, opposite Tiankuyuan, with naked oats and dried oats, chopped green onion eggs, and Pingyao beef are very delicious and delicious. The only drawback is that the beef is refrigerated and a little ice, which affects the taste. The boss is also a real person and asked me to pay on DZ Reviews (Chinese cannot pass the review, DZ Reviews, you should know what APP it is) and get a discount. Such a down-to-earth boss told her that the beef was a little cold, but the boss accepted it humbly. There were so many people on National Day, but they were still worried that they wouldn't be able to sell it all. I don't know what to think.
At 7:00 in the evening, the sitcom "Seeing Pingyao Again", which I am most looking forward to during this trip, has been watched by more than 3 million people since its performance began in 2003, and the comments are also full of praise. I went to the theater with an expectation of 100 points, but I was a little disappointed. This is the first time I have experienced this interactive drama. The form is very special, the audience has a strong sense of participation, the lighting is also in place, and the theme song peach blossoms, red letters, white letters, and really nice to hear. However, if there are too young children (under 3 years old), it is recommended to choose carefully. First, the drama is noisy and second, it is crowded. The reason for disappointment was that there were too many people during the holiday, and the first hour was completely crowded to watch it. It was too tiring. The stage was distracting, and it was crowded, nervous, and tired standing. Children like it better because experiential sitcoms have a strong sense of participation and are very popular, so children like it. I hope the number of people per game will be controlled within 500, otherwise it will be too crowded. I think this sitcom should be unique in two aspects. First, the death bath at the beginning fully demonstrated the benevolence, ruggedness and loyalty of Shanxi people; second, the flour dance in the last half hour was basically all men. The dance that turned out to be all men also had a different spirit of spirit. The theater smelled of flour and had a very northern flavor. Experiencing this drama in the off-season should be better (fewer people).
After the play, I originally planned to go to the bar in the ancient city for a drink, but I was too tired from watching the play and it rained, so the plan was cancelled. Watching dramas can make people tired, so I guess there is only "Seeing Pingyao Again".
D4-Pingyao (Pingyao City Wall, goodbye Shanxi)
It rained in the morning, and in the rain, we visited two other attractions that must check in: the escort agency and the city wall. It was raining and the wind was very strong on the city wall. I like my wife and children very much. I like it very much. I have liked the feeling of the strong wind since I was a child. It feels like it takes off when blowing on my body. The city wall can only go up from the south and north gates. If I have time, I will go half a circle, but time is too tight. After going up the north gate, I go around the city and go down. To leave Shanxi, I had to check in for a classic pasta meal again: sliced noodles, which were as chewy and delicious as ever; by the way, I couldn't forget the taste of naked oats and dried oats and dried oats, so I ordered another pickled oats and dried oats.
The north gate exits the city wall, and the hotel is at Yongding Gate in the west. It is impossible to rush to check out and go to Xi'an. Due to the rain, it was difficult to get a taxi. After walking 100 meters along the north gate to the main road outside, the surrounding area of the ancient city was jammed. Fortunately, I was lucky and there was a taxi after waiting for a few minutes. After arriving at the hotel, I packed my luggage. There was still an hour before the departure from Pingyao-Xi 'an, and I also encountered a taxi problem. I waited at the entrance of the hotel for 10 minutes and no bus arrived (the train was still 50 minutes away). Just as I was about to get on the black car, an empty taxi arrived. I was very lucky and encountered an empty taxi twice in a row. The master also said on the way, you are so brave that you dare to ride a black car (even if you have to ride 100 yuan, you may not be able to catch the bullet train to Xi'an if you don't do it)
It should be another 10 years after leaving Pingyao, leaving Shanxi, and seeing you again in Shanxi. Overall, during the three-day trip to Shanxi, development is too slow, aging, and ZF still has a lot of homework to do. Keep working hard, my second hometown.
D4-Xi'an (next to Xi'an, the city that never sleeps in the Tang Dynasty)
Arrive in Xi'an. Every time I visit a city, I always want to know about its transportation hub. This time, I went to Xi'an North and saw one of the largest transportation hubs in Asia, Xi'an North, with 34 tracks. The overall structure is basically the same as that of Chengdu East. High-speed rail and subway transfers at the same station, which is very convenient (compared with North Xi'an and East Chengdu, South Taiyuan is completely different from this century). Once again I lament the strength of the country. The high-speed rail station can almost rival the airport. In order to find out who is more powerful in Chengdu East and Xi'an North, Baidu compared for a while, and finally concluded that Chengdu's East Red Line has a larger scope, Xi'an North has a larger construction area, stock roads, and investment, and Xi'an North is better overall.
Xi'an Metro has an advantage unmatched by Chengdu Metro. You can use WeChat or Alipay to ride, which is much more convenient for foreign tourists. There are almost no queues to buy tickets at the subway station (Chengdu is too much difference). For accommodation in large cities, be sure to choose one next to the subway. This time, I chose Xi'an to stay under three conditions: within 500 meters of subway, 50 meters of subway, and within the ancient city. I finally stayed in the Super 8 apartment hotel next to Dacha City. During the National Day period, it was very difficult to have a price/performance ratio of more than 300 yuan, and it was not in vain. My experience of finding hotels through Ctrip for many days in a row (I am very satisfied with my wife and children in the three hotels this time). It's simply too convenient to stay in a hotel next to the subway with children in a big city. The Super 8 hotel this time is very close to Yongxing Square and Bell and Drum Tower. It's Line 4 to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda/Xi'an North. There is no need to transfer, which is very convenient.
Put down your luggage and go straight to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Today, we mainly see the Fountain of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City that Never Sleeps in the Tang Dynasty. It rained again after arriving. There were so many people visiting the fountain and the City that Never Sleeps in the rain. During the National Day, the fountain was a popular song such as I Love You China, Me and My Motherland. Obviously, the combination of the fountain rhythm and songs was not good enough. Farewell to the city that never sleeps in the Tang Dynasty. It really has the beauty of the Tang Dynasty's prosperous times. Although it rains, it feels different. The pedal lights of Internet celebrities and the night view of the city that never sleeps are great. It rained, and after shopping for an hour, preparing to take the subway back from Datang Furong Garden, I passed by the entrance of Datang Furong Garden, which was splendid and splendid.
When I got off the subway in Dacha City, there happened to be a "Wei Family Liangpi" downstairs. My wife used to eat a fast food restaurant that she often ate on business trips. She thought that she could just fill her stomach casually, but the taste was beyond my expectations. Roujiamo, porridge, fat sausage rice noodles, and the rice we ate in the next two days were amazing. The people of Xi'an are really happy. They are happy to have such a 24-hour fast food restaurant that is cost-effective and delicious.
D5-Xi'an (Bell and Drum Tower, Huimin Street, Yongxingfang, Datang Furong Garden)
I went to Bell and Drum Tower, Hui Street, Yongxing Square, and Tang Furong Garden. Needless to say, these places are familiar to people all over the country, and I want to talk about some feelings. First, Xi'an tourism really knows how to build it. In two years, it has built Datang Sleepless City and Yongxingfang, two popular places. Therefore, the government must be willing to invest and spend money. Don't talk about Internet + all day long. Xi'an tourism is the best use of Internet +. I think the key is the cooperation with Douyin. There are no Douyin in these Internet celebrity check-in spots in Xi'an, especially the Datang Sleepless City and Yongxing Square. Second, Xi'an is doing a good job in lighting, and you can see the prosperous times of the Tang Dynasty everywhere (in fact, the Tang Dynasty is much worse than this. How can the weak light of kerosene lamps and candles compare to Xi'an today). It feels like walking around the Hui People Street directly out of the night market after 10 a.m.(the lights are too dazzling). Yongxingfang ran into colleagues. Nima's world is too small, and it is difficult to meet them when living in the same community. I met them twice in Xi'an. It was amazing. Yongxing Square enjoyed Qin Opera, marionettes, shadow puppets, etc. In the evening, the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden was the only attraction I didn't enter when I went to Xi'an 11 years ago (there was a student ID at that time, and other attractions in Xi'an were 50% off. The only Tang Dynasty Furong Garden was not discounted, and the student party didn't enter to save money). I enjoyed the fountain in front of the Ziyun Building and the performance of inspiring China, which has a typical flavor of northwest loess. Ziyun Building should be newly built in the future. It is the commanding height of the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden. There is nothing else in the entire Tang Dynasty Furong Garden except Ziyun Building. The price of 120 tickets is too low. It is better to go to Huaqing Pool and watch the performance of the Song of Eternal Sorrow. (I didn't book a ticket for No. 5 Song of Eternal Sorrow, and I also canceled the Huaqing Pool direction. As for the Terracotta Warriors and Horses in Xi'an No. 1, I am really not interested in it, and my children can't understand it. Let's go together when my children go to middle school in the future.)
(Photo of the feeling of walking out of the night market on Hui Street in the morning)
The food in Yongxingfang and Huimin Street is really ordinary. It can be found in other places where you can eat it here. The sweet tofu pudding in Yongxingfang feels like the tofu pudding in my hometown of Deyang. From Yongxingfang to the hotel, I passed Shangjian Road and Shangqin Road. I felt that this was the place for local people to eat. Fruit was cheap and everything was available. Walking back to the hotel, my hands were filled with things: fruit, beef, walnuts... very good value for money. You can stroll around Yongxing Square and Hui Street. If you want to buy things, go to places frequented by locals.
D6-Xi'an (return trip)
Get up early to pack your luggage, taste the Wei family cold rice noodles for the last time, pack roujiamo for the family, take the subway in North Xi'an and return home.
I also visited Xi'an 10 years ago. I feel that Xi'an has developed rapidly in the past 10 years and urban construction has been continuously improved. This is the development trajectory the city should have (Shanxi is too far behind). I hope that Xi'an and Chengdu will become the twin stars of the west., lead the entire southwest and northwest to develop and truly realize the original large-scale development.
Goodbye in Beautiful Xi'an!
Finally, I wanted to complain about the waiting hall in North Xi'an. Why were all food sellers on both sides closed during the National Day? If I wanted to buy something to eat on the bus, I couldn't buy something to eat on the bus (there was only a delicious duck neck in the middle of the waiting hall). I wanted to complain about this point, so that we didn't have anything to eat during the five-hour drive back and drank all of our water.
Summary: Lala wrote so much miscellaneous. This is not a travel note, but a running account. You can read it more and recall it more when you get old. During the entire six-day trip, my wife liked it, my children liked it, and I was satisfied. The goal was basically achieved. After writing this journal (I wrote a lot about the Shanxi part, but it was too late, and the Xi'an part could only be done hastily), go to sleep, relax, and continue to work on stimulating blood.
