In the northwest, there is a city that is not only Fenghao in the Western Zhou Dynasty, but also Xianyang in the Qin Dynasty, Chang 'an from the Western Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, and Xi'an in China. The cultural heritage of the city of Xi'an is the source of my strong and long-lasting love for Xi'an. This is the lasting yearning for five thousand years of Chinese civilization. The profound feeling of the ancient capital over time will always make people fascinated.
Opening the map of Xi'an, you will be surprised to find that Xi'an has the most popular label as an Internet celebrity city, but in my opinion, the city of Xi'an has its unique charm: the art inherited from the Western Zhou Dynasty, the thousand-year-old monuments left by the Great Qin Empire, and the open and inclusive culture of the Tang Dynasty... These are all Xi'an I want to know about.
Qin Shihuang Mausoleum Museum (Terracotta Warriors)
Looking up at the fiery red lanterns, as the flow of people slowly passed through the gate of Yongning Gate, the prosperity and prosperity seemed like yesterday.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda against the blue sky and white clouds witnesses thousands of years of historical changes and the shifting stars.

about hotels
Xi'an Bell Tower Sende Hotel
Since most of Xi'an's tourist attractions are concentrated in the urban area, only the Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Pond are on the outskirts of the city, about 30 kilometers away from the center of the city.
So when visiting Xi'an, it is particularly important to find a hotel with a good location.
Indeed, as people say, a hotel is a scenery, and an accommodation is a trip. Try to stay in a hotel for a few days in a leisurely place like Xi'an, which is full of slow pace, so that you can avoid a lot of trouble and concentrate on experiencing the beautiful scenery. I stayed at Xi'an Bell Tower Send Hotel this time, and I still have no words or ears. I settled down my body and soul and was exiled in this leisurely ancient city.
There are several considerations why I chose this hotel. The first is the location. The hotel is located next to the Bell Tower in the middle of the ancient city of Xi'an City. There are also two subway entrances nearby. It is only a few minutes 'walk from Huimin Street, Yongning Gate of the Ancient City Wall, Drum Tower and many other scenic spots or Internet Red Street. In some places farther away, most of the subways are direct. The location is unique.
Public areas of the hotel, such as corridors. It is full of art paintings, photography works, etc. by artists from different countries.
The overall indoor environment can be said to be low-key and luxurious, simple but not simple, and the first impression of a small family on the outside and showing the spirit of everyone inside
The bright and airy rooms are paired with high-quality selected furniture and warm colors for super comfort. The sun is sunny in the afternoon, and the warm sunshine shines into the room, forming unique light and shadow, making people feel comfortable and peaceful from the bottom of their hearts.
You can see the beautiful night view from the room at night. Turn off the indoor lights, look at the brightly lit clock tower and the busy streets at night, sit down and have a cup of tea, and feel leisurely.
There is a smart voice assistant in the room, and all electrical appliances can be controlled.
The room has all the facilities. The washing supplies in the bathroom are neatly placed on the sink-toothbrush, shower cap, cotton swabs, comb, toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, slippers, towels, and bath towels.
The hotel's buffet breakfast is also excellent, with exquisite workmanship and excellent taste.
Tips:
Xi'an is a city that ranks among the top ten tourist destinations all year round. Needless to say, the number of tourists is quite large. Try to avoid holidays (I went there during the summer vacation this time, and the person is still very cloudy on Fridays and Saturdays...), Otherwise, what you see is not history and scenery, but all kinds of people.
Qin Shihuang Mausoleum Museum (Terracotta Warriors)
The Terracotta Warriors is the most popular attraction in Xi'an. In order to minimize congestion as possible (it is impossible to avoid congestion at all), we choose to avoid Saturdays, Sundays and Fridays (after all, it is summer vacation and it is not very useful). Wake up friends early in the morning and leave the hotel at 7:50 ~
Entering from the gate of the scenic area, you need to walk a long distance to reach the Terracotta Warriors Stadium. When you come in, you will find stone roads and green trees, and when you go out, you will find various commercial streets...
The Terracotta Warriors now have three venues, which are crowded with people. In order not to photograph the sea of people, we can only look up and shoot the upper half of the venue. The venue on the far right side of the entrance is similar to a museum, displaying the best preserved and most classic Terracotta Warriors.
The venue in the middle is Pit No. 2. There are basically no terracotta warriors in this venue. The venue on the far left is Pit No. 1, which is the most crowded venue. Qin Shihuang's army below is majestic, and there is a sea of tourists above.
After being buried in the damp underground for more than two thousand years, the paint on the clay figurines has been completely worn out, so now it is impossible to see the bright terracotta warriors that were painted all over the body.
When there are many people, to take a photo in the best position facing the terracotta warriors, you need enough endurance, sharp observation and decisive action. Uncle perfectly possessed the above characteristics, which helped me successfully walk straight ahead and observe the terracotta warriors head-on.
There is a row of super cute Q terracotta warriors placed at the exit of the scenic area, which is especially suitable for taking funny photos. Yellow Fatty Shuang and Blue Fatty Uncle Wang ~
Super cute Q version of the terracotta warriors sculpture ~"I won't look, I won't look""I won't say, I won't say""I won't listen, I won't listen" Hahaha ~
Huimin Street
As one of the representatives of Xi'an customs, Xi'an Hui Street is the collective name of many streets in the Hui Street Area. It consists of several streets including Beiguangji Street, Beiyuanmen, Xiyang City, Dapiyuan, Huajue Lane, Sajinqiao, behind the Bell and Drum Tower.
Entering through the Drum Tower, the green shadows on both sides of the road block the summer sun, and a bustling Hui Street is located in it.
The shouts of selling goods, the sizzling sound of barbecues, the sound of noodles... It felt like only the swallowing sound of saliva was left in the end. The various snacks on Huimin Street are really dazzling.
Crossing the busiest street and walking straight ahead you can see Xiyang City. It is more secluded than the main road, but it is also crowded with tourists.
There are also two famous attractions in Huimin Street, one is the Gaojia Courtyard and the other is the Mosque. Friends who have time can visit them. Both places are quite interesting.
When we finished a day's trip and returned to Hui Street, it became even more lively, and it felt that all the food was out after night.
"Dang ~", a person wearing national costumes knocking sugar on the street.
Next, let's introduce the delicious food we have eaten ~
biangbiang noodles. Long and thick, never biting the head. The taste is not as amazing as I thought (maybe I didn't go to an old store that does it well), but it's still okay ~
Soup dumplings. The taste is excellent ~ it just leaks when eating.
stir-fried jelly. The delicious food in the world is very suitable for my taste ~
Fry small potatoes. Although it is not a specialty food, this kind of snack really makes you want to have a bowl wherever you go.
We didn't specifically go to an old store to eat, but we bought whatever we saw pleasing to the eye. Finally, we took it to a store to eat. As for the mutton kebabs I bought on the road and eaten while walking, I only cared about eating and didn't have time to take photos.
Xi'an city wall
Adult ticket is RMB 54 (unlimited number of times to climb the city wall that day)
The flags dancing in the wind on the city wall, the red flags are integrated with the blue sky.
The sun sets in the west, and the sun shines through the leaves and casts mottled tree shadows on the ancient city wall.
I was fortunate enough to watch the thrilling sunset on the ancient city wall. The floating clouds covered the red sun, which was magnificent and hallucinogenic, and disappeared in an instant.
The wind rose at sunset, and in the blink of an eye, all the lights on the city wall were lit.
The pavilions and pavilions under the light look more exquisite.
Every time you walk, you can see a similar attic like this. The ancient city wall of Xi'an is nearly 14 kilometers long. You can also ride around the city wall during the day, but at night, it is not suitable for riding if there are many people and poor vision. Just take a walk.
A bright moon hangs on the ancient city wall, and tomorrow is the fifteenth day.
Place the camera in the recess of the city wall and set up time-lapse photography to record the heavy traffic at night.
Looking at the inside and outside of the city wall from the city wall, the city is ancient and the high-rise buildings outside the city are numerous.
Yongning Gate has song and dance performances at night. When the performance is about to start, tourists who have not purchased tickets for the performance cannot enter through the main entrance.
There are many gates in the ancient city wall that you can enter, but it is recommended to enter from the front door of Yongning Gate at the south gate. The gate is very suitable for taking photos during the day.
When I returned to the Sende Hotel in the evening, I was instantly tired when I saw the bed. I slept well and continued tomorrow's trip.
Dayan Pagoda
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is the earliest and largest existing brick pagoda in the Tang Dynasty, also known as the "Cien Temple Pagoda". It was built by Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty to preserve the Buddhist scroll Buddha statues brought back to Chang 'an from Tianzhu via the Silk Road.
Not long after entering the gate of the scenic area, I saw devout Buddhists chanting sutras collectively in the main hall.
Not long after entering the gate of the scenic area, I saw devout Buddhists chanting sutras collectively in the main hall.
Looking at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda from different angles, each side has a different appearance, just like the prosperous Tang Dynasty, where poetry, songs and paintings were comprehensively prosperous, the cultures of various countries blended with each other, and had different brilliance.
When the wind blows, the copper bells hanging at the corners of each tower begin to float, making a clear sound. This sound resounded from Chang 'an in the prosperous Tang Dynasty to the modern Xi'an, which is now developing rapidly.
In a corner of the temple, a strange-looking fiery red fruit emerged from the branches of trees.
Chinese guarding artists--Guanzhong food center
Qujiang Furong Xintiandi is very close to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is very convenient to go here directly to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda ~
Cost: 30-40 yuan per person. The three of us ordered five snacks, which cost a total of 97 yuan, and we ate very well. The price is really very reasonable, generally cheaper than the snacks sold in Huimin Square, but the taste is not bad at all.
Qujiang Furong Xintiandi is a commercial street, and Chinese guarding artists are located on the first floor of one of the buildings on the commercial street.
Chinese guarding artists are similar to the food courts found in many shopping malls. They need to apply for a card to recharge for consumption (refunds immediately after not using). The interior decoration in the store is very similar to the old city of Shaanxi. There are small tables suitable for three or four people and long tables suitable for eight people.
A variety of colors, antique woodcut chairs.
There are more than 20 shops in China's guarding artists. Every house is different. They are all famous Shaanxi snacks, and there are many delicacies that have been passed down from generation to generation and belong to intangible cultural heritage.
Qujiang Book City
Qujiang Book City is also in Furong Xintiandi. After eating, it is best to go to the book city to rest and avoid the afternoon heat.
Estimated tour time: 1h (leisurely stroll around the bookstore, sit on a soft chair, read books, and take a nap)
There are several rows of cultural and creative products in the ancient city of Xi'an, cute ~ every small item is very exquisite and cute.
I finally have to rest for a while, looking for books and reading.
datang Furong garden
The Tang Dynasty Furong Garden is a theme park north of the original Tang Dynasty Furong Garden ruins and built in the style of the Tang Dynasty royal gardens. Although it is an imitation, it still restores the grandeur of the royal gardens in the prosperous age of the Tang Dynasty.
On the corridor of Caixia Pavilion, the life of women in the Tang Dynasty is told. Every few steps I take, I look up and see an independent little story. One side is text and the other side is painting (my neck hurts after watching it for a long time).
Almost every attraction in the scenic area will have special performances at specific time periods. We didn't pay special attention to the performance time and place, but we would encounter it from time to time. For example, when we passed one of the attractions, we happened to encounter a performance by a young man from Yunnan.
While sitting in the Caixia Pavilion to rest, I inexplicably encountered a close-up jet skiing performance. Me: "Wow ~ I want to ride it too", Grandpa: "They... Is this a performance?", Shuang: "Hahaha seems to be ha." While waiting for the Lady Hall, we encountered another water trapeze performance.
The night view of Datang Furong Garden is one of the best. It is most appropriate to take pictures when the lights are on and it is still half dark.
The lanterns in the Furong Garden of the Tang Dynasty are all printed with portraits of ancient people from the Tang Dynasty court. The lanterns in the vicinity add a touch of Tang charm to the distant buildings.
I took a lot of photos at Ziyun Building. The reason was that I was not feeling well and had diarrhea. I traveled between the bathroom and the square many times, and every time I found something new... Therefore, no matter how much my stomach hurts, I still have to take pictures with my life
The sky is getting darker, it is the fifteenth day of the lunar calendar, and a full moon is quietly hanging above the tower.
The flag dancing in front of the watchtower at the gate of the scenic spot.
I don't know whether this water was man-made or fell from the sky, but it created an excellent view for taking photos.
Xi'an Museum
I didn't make it to the Shaanxi Museum (the reasons explained earlier). I learned from the pain. In order to compensate for the museum's regrets, I chose to go to the Xi'an Museum, which was small in population, so the trip would be a little tortuous.
At 9 a.m., compared with the Shaanxi History Museum, which lined up on a long street, Xi'an Museum appeared extremely deserted.
Xiaoyan Pagoda (Jianfu Temple)
The Little Wild Goose Pagoda is also known as the "Jianfu Temple Pagoda". Together with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, it is an important symbol of Chang 'an City in the Tang Dynasty that has been preserved to this day. It gets its name because it looks like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Xi'an Museum and the Little Wild Goose Pagoda are very close. You can see the Little Wild Goose Pagoda by walking through the arch bridge and passing through the mottled park path.
The Little Wild Goose Pagoda has gone through many "clutches". One earthquake cracked and the second earthquake combined. It has been more than 1200 years since the clutches were combined.
The path of the Little Wild Goose Pagoda is full of stone piles on both sides. Each stone pile has different stone statues. It has a strong sense of depth and is quiet with few people, making it very suitable for taking photos. Hahaha, share a happy little donkey child here ~
