Since the beginning of winter this year, there has been only one snow in Xi'an. Although Xi'an has become Chang 'an every time it snows, the snow in Xi'an has melted before many people have time to play and enjoy the snow. Several snow has fallen in Zhongnan Mountain in the Qinling Mountains, and many yukou have even had five or six snowfalls.

After the snow fell in the Qinling Mountains, many people either drove or walked to the mountains to enjoy the snow. Some went to Jinxian Temple in Ziwu Valley, some went to Dongling in Tianzi Valley, some went to Jiawu Terrace in Baidaoyu, some went to Rentou Mountain in Lapao Valley, some went to Zige Peak in Zige Valley, some went to Baolongyu Ice Waterfall, and some even drove to the Fengyukou Watershed and the Languan Ancient Road, all in order to see the most beautiful snow scenery and enjoy the snow.

Some people were lucky that there was still snow when they went, and even the snow scenery was good. Some people not only did not see the beautiful snow scenery when they went, but even the snow was gone. In fact, not all yukou in the Qinling Mountains have snow, nor are the snow scenery in all yukou is beautiful.

I have been to most of the 72 valleys in the Qinling Mountains. Overall, I feel that the snow scenery of Taixing Mountain in Kuyu, Qinling Mountains is the most dreamy. It is not too far away from Xi'an. Not only are the scenery and snow scenery beautiful, but there are also many temples and Taoist temples. It is also easier to encounter hermits and practitioners.

Kuyu Taixing Mountain in Zhongnan Mountain in the Qinling Mountains is located in Yangzhuang Street, Chang 'an District, Xi'an City, about 40 kilometers away from the urban area of Xi'an. It is currently open for free. There are mountains, water, waterfalls, temples, and Taoist temples. The scenery here is beautiful and very clean, and it is not highly commercialized. The mountains and rivers are very well protected. Generally, you will encounter a few dozen temples in other Yukou. From the foot of the mountain to the mountain, there are a total of 72 temples, known as 72 Tangfang.

Cultivation in the world is dominated by the south, while seclusion and cultivation in Zhongnan Mountain is dominated by Taixing Mountain. There are a large number of hermits, laymen, monks, Taoist priests and other mountain dwellers and practitioners living in temples, caves, and thatched houses here. Every time I go for a walk, climb mountains, or go shopping at the foot of the mountain, I can meet them and drink tea with them. When asked why they live in seclusion here, most people will say that mountains are good, water is good, and good people are good, and that the magnetic field is strong, which is conducive to cultivation.

Taixing Mountain has two other nicknames, one is Yehua Mountain and the other is Tiewudang. Yehua Mountain shows that it is very dangerous here. The highest peak is called the No. 1 Peak in Zhongnan. It is more than 2300 meters high, higher than Huashan Mountain. In the last 100 meters, many people dare not challenge it. As for Iron Wudang, Emperor Zhenwu cultivated here for more than ten years before he became Tao. Later, he went to Wudang Mountain. Because there was an Iron Temple on the top of the mountain, it was called Iron Wudang and a sacred place for Taoist cultivation.

There have been five snowfalls here since the beginning of winter. When it snows, there is snow everywhere from Yukou to the top of the mountain, but there is no outside Yukou. It is very magical. Even if the snow at Yukou melts after the snow, the snow from the foot of Taixing Mountain to the top of the mountain is difficult to melt. Because the temperature is too low this year, it even reaches minus ten to twenty degrees after the snow. According to the hermit practitioners here, it will have to wait until the beginning of spring to melt the snow in such cold weather.

When you enter Taixing Mountain in Kuyu to enjoy the snow, you can enter by car, you can take a shuttle bus from Yukou, or you can enter on foot. If the snowy road is slippery, vehicles are often prohibited for safety reasons. At this time, you can walk from Yukou to the mountain to enjoy the snow. Generally speaking, it takes about 4 hours to walk from Yukou to the foot of Taixing Mountain on sunny days, about 6 hours on snowy days, and about 6 hours on sunny days. From the foot of Taixing Mountain to the top of Iron Temple on sunny days. Snow days take about 10 hours, but after the snow, most people cannot reach the summit because it is too dangerous and dangerous.

For non-professional mountain climbers, it is recommended to climb to the ice waterfall and the South Gate of Taixing Mountain when it snows. There are many temples and Taoist temples to visit along the way. You can also have tea and chat with the Taoist priests and monks inside. If you are lucky, you can also meet hermits living in caves.

In winter, due to the slippery snow and slippery roads, and the lowest temperature dropped to around minus 20 degrees, many of the hermit practitioners living in temples, Taoist temples and caves no longer live in the mountains for the time being. I was lucky. The last time I took netizens to climb the mountain and admire the snow, I not only saw the dream snow scenery in a frozen spot, which made everyone call themselves into the heaven and fairy tale world, but also met a female layman who lived on the mountain to cultivate, and a hermit who helped the villagers sweep snow. He lived alone in the cave. It snowed so low in winter, but it was still wearing shorts and short sleeves. It was really amazing. We not only had a brief exchange on the road, but also drank tea and chatted together. Listening to them tell their stories and experiences of reclusive cultivation was also a great pleasure.

If you go to Taixing Mountain in Kuyu, Qinling Mountains to climb mountains to enjoy the snow and seek refuge, it is recommended that you wear hiking shoes, crampons, and hiking poles. For unfamiliar places, it is recommended to do within your capabilities and not rush to go. You should also climb mountains and enjoy the snow. Safety first, and do not cause trouble for yourself or others.

Practical information: Taixing Mountain in Kuyu, Qinling Mountains is located in Yangzhuang Street, Chang 'an District, Xi'an City. You can search for "Taixing Mountain" by driving by yourself. You can take bus No. 735 to Kuyukou Station and get off.

I always live in Zhongnan Mountain in the Qinling Mountains. I have a yard on Zhongnan Mountain. I like to travel outdoors and eat food. I like to climb mountains to find seclusion and ask for Buddha. I like to have tea and chat with Zhongnan hermit practitioners. If I like, I like to pay attention to me, travel outdoors together, experience mountain life together, seek seclusion and ask for Buddha together, and go to see the larger world together.
