Xi'an, which is known as the ancient city of our country, although I am a historian, I also wanted to smoke myself, so I spent two months reading everyone's travel notes and making strategies. Although the destination is Xi'an, how can I not go to the surrounding Hukou Waterfall and Huashan Mountain? On the way back, I passed the snack city-Changsha and the long-awaited ancient city of Fenghuang, how could I not go? So there was an 11-day trip. At the beginning of summer vacation this year, my daughter and I embarked on a journey.
D1 Guangzhou (plane)→ Xi'an Xianyang (by airport bus)→ Textile City Passenger Station (by bus)→ Yichuan (living)
D2 Yichuan (bus)→ Hukou Waterfall (bus)→ Xi'an Textile City Passenger Station (Xi'an Residence)
D3, 4 Xi'an North Railway Station (high-speed rail)→ Huashan North Railway Station →(Huashan withstands)→ High-speed rail back to Xi'an (living in Xi'an)
D5 and 6 Tour Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors, Huaqing Palace, Ancient City Wall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Dayan Pagoda Park, Yongxingfang, Hui Street
D7, 8 Xi'an → Changsha → Tour Juzizhou Head, Huo Palace, etc.
D9, 10 Changsha → Fenghuang Ancient City
D11 Phoenix Ancient City → Guangzhou
D1: The first day was the most boring and uninteresting part of the entire journey, because it was all on the plane and in the car. At 5:30 in the morning, take the pre-booked ride to Baiyun Airport (the ticket was booked a month in advance) and take the 7:40 flight to Xi'an Xianyang Airport. After getting off the plane, you rush to the airport bus parking point and get on the bus to Textile City Passenger Station (just enough to catch the 10:40 bus). It took about an hour to arrive at Textile City, bought a 1:30 ticket to Yichuan, and stayed in Yi 'an tonight. Taking advantage of the time before driving to Yichuan, try the local staple food at the Textile City Passenger Station (the taste is okay). The drive from Textile City Passenger Station to Yichuan took a full 5 and a half hours. I stopped twice to rest on the way, and I was tired! When he arrived in Yichuan, he rushed to the hotel he had booked in advance. He put aside his reasons, strolled around Yichuan for an hour and ate some special dishes. Then he went back to the hotel to wash up and go to bed.
D2: I got up at 7:30 in the morning, packed up my luggage, bought two steamed buns at the stall next to the bus station, and ate them on the bus. The earliest shuttle bus from Yichuan to Hukou at the bus station was 8:30. After walking on the winding road for more than an hour, I finally arrived at the Hukou Waterfall Customer Service Center (also the ticket buying point). I heard that private cars are not allowed in the scenic area.(At the entrance of the center, people will ask if they should carpool to enter the scenic area. It will be cheap and convenient. In order to prevent fraud, I still choose to take a special car for the scenic area.) I placed the luggage at the central service desk (kept it for free), bought the tickets and took a 30-minute bus on Panshan Road. The bus in the scenic area first went to the Hukou Ferry Exit. After visiting the Hukou Ferry Exit, I took a special car to the only yellow waterfall in the world. After seeing the Hukou Waterfall, I suddenly felt that spending so much time driving here was absolutely worth it. (Please look at the picture, I don't have enough ink to describe it.) After staying in the scenic spot for more than 2 hours, we had to reluctantly leave (since we planned to return to Xi'an, there was only one bus back to Xi'an at 1:30 from the Hukou Customer Service Center). (Ps: There are B & Bs near the customer service center. Self-driving partners can consider it.) After a 6-hour bus ride, the bus can get off at Sports Park Station on Xi'an Line 2. We transferred to the subway to the hotel we had booked (in Xi'an, I think the subway is the most convenient means of transportation). Since it was past 7 o'clock when we settled in the hotel, we just found something to eat nearby and went back to sleep.
D3, 4: Today and tomorrow's destination is Huashan. Before coming, it seemed that many strategies also considered that they did not have so much physical strength to walk the "same road as Huashan since ancient times," so they chose to use cable cars both up and down the mountain. Generally, tour groups follow the route of going west and going east. In order to avoid tour groups, I chose the opposite direction to them-going east and going west (that is, taking the cable car to Dongfeng and taking the cable car from Xifeng on the second day. During the past two days in Huashan, fortunately I chose this route, which was just right to be staggered with the people of the tour group. It was very comfortable and few people). After getting up at eight o'clock in the morning, I had a hearty breakfast and took a leisurely bus to Xi'an North High-speed Railway Station. After an hour and a half on the high-speed railway, I arrived at Huashan North High-speed Railway Station. As soon as I left the station, many enthusiastic taxi drivers would tell you to take you directly to Huashan Customer Service Center, but I chose to take the free No. 2 bus (the disadvantage is that the bus will turn around Huashan City and take more than an hour to reach the customer service center). After arriving at the customer service center, I bought tickets and then took a 20-minute drive and took the cable car up the mountain! Because the route to Huashan is not bad, I will not introduce it in detail here. I booked two beds for mixed men and women in Dongfeng Hotel (180 yuan/bed). Given the lack of materials on the mountain, the beds are not very good. There are only three public toilets in the entire Dongfeng Hotel. Going to the toilet in Huashan Mountain is really a challenge, but seeing its unparalleled scenery, I can accept any challenge. Because it was drizzling when going up the mountain, you couldn't see the sunset that day. I brought instant noodles for dinner in Huashan, but my roommate said that it would cost 60 yuan to eat noodles there. After sleeping in the barely accepted clean leather bed for one night, I got up at 4:30 the next morning-to watch the sunrise! When you see the egg yolk slowly rising from the sea of clouds and the clouds on the horizon slowly turning red, it will make you forget all the tiredness before. After watching the sunrise and having a simple breakfast, my daughter and I walked towards Xifeng. It took about 3 hours for my daughter and I to walk at a slow pace to reach the Xifeng Cable Car Station. I still had to leave with the feeling of reluctant to part with Huashan (because too many people lined up to go this time for the repair of the Changkong plank road and the rollover of the kite, this time I only photographed the beauty of Huashan but there was no danger). After getting off from Xifeng, I walked for another half an hour and took a forty-minute bus to get to the customer service center. After arriving at the customer service center, I still chose the free bus to Huashan North High-speed Railway Station. It was already past three o'clock in the afternoon when I arrived in Xi'an. After arranging my travels, I ran towards the prosperous area of Xi'an. After seeing the prosperity of Xi'an, I ate a full meal and went back to the hotel to wash up and sleep.
D5: With excitement, I had an ordinary breakfast (steamed buns, eggs, soy milk) early today. I chose to take the subway first and then take the bus to the Huaqing Palace and the Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors Museum. Today is the hottest day out of the province. The bus stops at Huaqing Palace. At 9 a.m., it is already sunny and crowded with people (the excitement suddenly turned to helplessness). I bought tickets at the entrance of Huaqing Palace and rented a guide to stroll among the dense crowd for two hours (I couldn't stand it). I got on the bus and set out for the Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Army Museum. On the regular bus, there were special guides who gave us a brief introduction to the Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Army Museum. Due to the large number of people, we went into the museum without even having lunch.(We must rent a guide at the museum) Although it was lunch time, there were still many people in the museum! We walked around the museum for more than two hours before we came out. Too many people couldn't stand it! On the way out of the museum, we heard someone introducing the underground palace. We couldn't resist the temptation to follow the gang to the underground palace (friends who read this travel note must never go to the underground palace. It's a waste of money and time. In the underground palace, I took a small train to swim in for more than an hour. The scenery inside was all artificial shadows, just like watching a 5D movie. Moreover, it was eighty yuan per person. I slept in the underground palace for an hour). After coming out of the underground palace, we took the bus to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Park. It was past 6 o'clock to catch the musical fountain that started at 7 o'clock. If we haven't seen a very large fountain, it should be worth a visit. After watching the fountain, I went to the Internet celebrity restaurant to check in. After eating, I went back to the hotel to wash and sleep.
D6: Today is the most leisurely day in Xi'an. I slept until I got up at ten o'clock in the morning and then took the subway to Gangyongxing Square for a meal (it is impossible to use cash in Yongxing Square, so I can only use Alipay or WeChat to pay). Due to the hot weather, we went back to the hotel and took a nap. We took the subway to the ancient city wall after four o'clock. It was recommended to rent a bicycle on the ancient city wall and ride in the wind while enjoying the sunset. I rode a bicycle around the ancient city wall, and then took the subway to the Internet celebrity site-Huimin Square to eat and eat (but maybe due to the taste, I really don't like the food in Huimin Square)! After eating, I went shopping, bought specialties and returned to the hotel. (ps: On the way to Huimin Square, we passed the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, but we didn't really want to visit them, so we just took a few photos after passing by)
D7: I booked the 10:00 train to Changsha today, so I don't have to get up too early. After we got up and cleaned up, we took the bus to Xi'an North Railway Station. After having a McDonald's breakfast at the North Railway Station, we quickly got on the bus. After checking into the hotel around three o'clock in Changsha, we went to Tianxin Pavilion, and then went to the popular crayfish restaurant. After eating some food, we walked around and returned to the hotel.
D8: I woke up naturally in the decorated hotel, then had a simple breakfast, and took the subway to the Juzizhou Head Scenic Area.(In fact, Juzizhou Head is just a small park and nothing special.) After visiting Juzizhou Head, I took the subway to the famous Huo Palace to eat Changsha snacks. After eating snacks, I went back to the hotel to take a nap. It was past 5 o'clock in the afternoon and then walked out to visit the lively center of Changsha. After shopping, I went back to the hotel to sleep after dinner.
D9: Since I had to take the high-speed train and transfer bus to the ancient city of Fenghuang today, I got up at around seven o'clock and cleaned up and ate a beef powder. I took the subway for half an hour to Changsha South Railway Station and took the bullet train to Huaihua (the journey is more than an hour). At the exit of the Huaihua High-speed Railway, many travel agencies waved for you to take their car to the ancient city of Fenghuang (I just took their car, and now I suggest going to the regular station to buy tickets to the ancient city of Fenghuang). After arriving in the ancient city, it is more than three o'clock to find a booked B & B. After settling down, I went to tour the streets of the ancient city and the night view of the Tuojiang River with my daughter (remind you that there are many mosquitoes on both sides of the Tuojiang River at night.)
D10: Since we had visited Fenghuang Ancient City yesterday, we signed up for a small group to visit surrounding places today. Today, we went with the group to visit Laozhai Village and Feishui Valley, and also experienced a tie-dye experience. After five o'clock in the afternoon, we returned to the ancient city of Fenghuang. We went shopping, bought souvenirs and appreciated the night view of the Tuojiang River again, and then returned to the hotel to rest.
D11: It's been ten days since I came out, and my homesickness is getting stronger and stronger, so I took the bullet train directly from Huaihua back to our Greater Guangzhou. The journey is over.
PS: Cost summary: Air ticket from Guangzhou to Xianyang (2 people) 1930 yuan
