Xi'an is a beautiful city, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, Chang'an City, which has nurtured a long history and culture. From famous scenic spots and historical sites to street food, there are countless and diverse options to choose from.
I chose a good chain hotel for this trip to Xi'an
---Jinjiang Inn Xi'an Zhonglou Dacha City Subway Station Hotel.
The location is 800 meters south of the train station, with a subway station and bus stop right outside. It is very convenient to get to various scenic spots in Xi'an. I also randomly chose a place to stay, but I didn't expect the hotel service to be very good. Overall, I was very satisfied.
Without further ado, let's set off together and head to our first destination, Yongxingfang (as foodies myself, places with delicious food are naturally the first choice, hahaha!)
At first, the editor was also very conflicted about which one was better to go first, Yongxingfang or Huimin Street. Then, the editor consulted the hotel front desk staff, who introduced that Yongxingfang mostly has some Shaanxi specialty cuisine, mainly Han cuisine, while Huimin Street mainly focuses on the catering characteristics of ethnic minorities, each with its own strengths.
I didn't expect our first stop to be not very far from the hotel, only a few minutes' walk away.
I only discovered that Yongxingfang is truly the busiest food street in Xi'an. All the snack shops were packed, and some even had people standing in line at the entrance.
Here, the editor recommends a way of eating, which was also taught to me by others. Be sure to eat it with fermented skin and roujiamo together~
Think carefully, everyone~The combination of fermented dough and roujiamo is hot and cold, with meat and vegetables, soft and crispy. Mix these together and eat them in one bite, and it's all about "refreshing". (Recommended, it's really delicious!)
Next up is this Biangbiang noodle dish. When eating noodles, you have to squat down and say that the stool is not sitting up (one of the Eight Great Devils of Shaanxi), which means the correct posture for eating Biangbiang noodles. Only in this way can you feel the most when eating noodles, and they are particularly delicious. You can suck and finish one noodle strip in one breath, which is a satisfying experience. (It is recommended to order a portion with friends, as the quantity is still quite large.)
I won't list them all here because there are too many, bustling crowds and a dazzling array of delicious food. Interested friends can come here to explore their favorite foods~
Of course, in this historic city of Chang'an, it's not just about having delicious food.
Drinking the long songs of the prosperous era, I am intoxicated with wine. Where do I go in my dream tonight, with red sleeves fragrant under the moon in Chang'an.
Amidst the vast sea of dust, dreams seem to unfold, and the moonlight of the ancient city ripples in whose wine cup
Having tasted delicious food at Yongxingfang, one cannot miss the place that best reflects the prosperity of our Tang Dynasty. Here, we will talk about the most beautiful Tang Dynasty city in Chang'an, which never sleeps.
As night fell, under the neon lights, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda displayed its unique charm. Fortunately, I arrived at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda just in time for the performance of the music fountain. The spring water reflected the light and sprayed onto the ground, and the silhouettes of surrounding buildings and trees were scattered and reflected in the accumulated water, like a mirage that was both real and illusory. The fountain is about to start, and the water splashes out suddenly, like a dancing singer in a dark sky, shining on stage and blooming brilliantly!
After watching the music fountain pass through the bustling crowds from north to south, we arrived at the Tang Dynasty Night City.
Here we return to the prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty, where the saying goes, 'Fire trees and silver flowers never stay up at night, and the glory of the Tang Dynasty descends from the sky.' Although it is already night, seeing pedestrians walking shoulder to shoulder and shops of various colors, illuminated by the lights, is like daylight. The prosperous city that never sleeps welcomes tourists from all over the world, and I believe they must be as shocked by this beautiful scenery as I am!
As the crowd continues to move forward, you will see a beauty who seems to float out of a mural. You did not mistake her, this is our little sister, the Tumbler, with a sweet smile, light and charming, elegant. Dancing and swaying, performing the style of the Tang Dynasty.
There is also a Tang costume experience area here, where you can change into your favorite Tang costumes with your friends, take photos and post them on social media, which is the most suitable!
After a day of sightseeing, I returned to the hotel and lay in a comfortable bed, reminiscing about the parade of the day
The cuisine of Yongxingfang in Xi'an and the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty's city that never sleeps are both haunting people's dreams.
Writing this travelogue, I also hope that everyone can bring their relatives and friends to experience this beautiful ancient city together during leisure time, and immerse themselves in the prosperous era of our Tang Dynasty!
