The map of Huashan is as above. I went in the peak season. The total cost of Huashan ticket + Xifeng sightseeing bus is 200 yuan, and the Xifeng cableway is 140 yuan one way. The Xifeng sightseeing bus takes about 40 minutes, and the Xifeng cableway is about 25 minutes. Including the ticket queue time, I boarded Huashan Xifeng at about 9 o'clock.
Xifeng is 2082 meters above sea level and is the most beautiful and dangerous peak in Huashan. Because there is a huge stone like a lotus flower in front of the Cuiyun Palace at the peak, it is also known as Lotus Peak. There are many landscapes on Xifeng, including Cuiyun Palace, axe splitting stones, star picking, sacrifice cliff, giant spiritual feet, Yanggong Pagoda, etc. The scenery is all very beautiful.
Leave Xifeng and head to Nanfeng, which has the highest altitude, for about 30 minutes. Nanfeng is 2,154.90 meters above sea level. It is the highest peak of Huashan Mountain and the highest peak of the five mountains. The ancients respectfully called it the "Head of Huashan Mountain". Climbing to the top of Nanfeng, I suddenly felt that the sky was close and the stars could be picked up.
There is a Sky Plank Road in Nantianmen, a must-see exciting event in Huashan. It costs 30 yuan. Two or more people must register. The age limit is under 60 years old. It is about an hour back and forth. There are 30 people in each group. You can't pick up many groups a day. Hurry up.
The plank road is divided into three sections: Nantianmen Shifang to the west of Chaoyuan Cave. The road is cut along the cliff. It is 20 meters long and about two feet wide. It is the upper section. When folding down, iron bars run across the cliff, shaped like hanging ladders in the sky. Visitors have to pull the ropes and go down step by step. It is called the "chicken under the rack", which is the middle section. Turning westward to the lower section, road builders cut stone holes in the cliff and wedge stone piles. Three wooden rafters are erected between the stone piles. Visitors here must face the wall and stick to their belly, and move horizontally on the wooden rafters.
It takes about 60 minutes to leave Nanfeng and head to Dongfeng. Since I have seen the sunrise in Huangshan and the scenery is similar, I will not spend the night on Dongfeng of Huashan Mountain.
The east peak is 2,096.2 meters above sea level and is one of the main peaks of Huashan Mountain. It is named because of its location in the east. There is a platform on the summit, which is high and dangerous and has a wide view. It is a famous place to watch the sunrise. It is called Chaoyang Terrace, and the east peak is also called Chaoyang Peak.
There is a kite roll over in Dongfeng, which is equivalent to a rock climbing event. It is also very exciting. It costs 30 yuan and is 1 hour round trip. Only under the age of 60 can participate. Turning over from the kite is the only way to the chess pavilion. It is one of the famous dangerous roads in Huashan. The road is cut on the cliff of the east peak. Looking down, you can only see the cold rope hanging in the sky and no path.
The middle peak is 2,037.8 meters high, located in the center of the east, west and south peaks, and is one of the main peaks of Huashan Mountain. The trees on the peak are verdant, the environment is quiet, and many exotic flowers and grasses are unknown.
Finally, after passing Jinsuoguan, Canglong Ridge sets off for the north peak. The north peak is 1614 meters above sea level. It is one of the main peaks of Huashan Mountain and is named after its location in the north. The north peak hangs on all sides, with the clouds on the top and the earth veins on the bottom. It stands tall and stands out like Yuntai Peak, so it is also known as Yuntai Peak.
There is also an interesting ladder on Huashan.
After visiting Beifeng, I originally wanted to walk down the mountain, but there was not enough time, so I had to take the Beifeng cableway down the mountain and transfer to the Beifeng sightseeing bus. The Beifeng cableway was 80 yuan, and the Beifeng sightseeing bus was 20 yuan. Due to the popularity of people, I waited for 30 minutes to line up the cableway, which resulted in leaving the scenic spot past 18 o'clock. I missed the last bus. I spent 20 yuan by taxi to Huashan Station and took the evening train to Xi'an.
If you want to go to Huashan, you can leave a message if you have any questions. Huashan is the most dangerous peak in China and it truly deserves it.
