about accommodations
Xi'an Bell Tower Sende Hotel
Xi'an Bell Tower is the center of Xi'an City. With the Bell Tower and Drum Tower as the origin, it divides East Street, West Street, South Street and North Street in the east-west, north-south direction, which has a strong traditional Chinese charm. Therefore, the reputation of Xi'an's Bell Tower and Drum Tower is definitely not boasted. They are almost the only places for tourists from home and abroad to Xi'an, and they are also places for online celebrities to check in.
I stayed at the Xi'an Bell Tower Sende Hotel for a few days in Xi'an. The hotel is on the east side of the Bell Tower, just across the road from the Bell Tower. In fact, all the buildings in this area belong to provincial key cultural relics protection units. At night, you can see the night view of the Bell Tower and the busy central street.
And the transportation is very convenient, so you don't have to trouble getting to any scenic spots. There are two subway entrances nearby you know ~~ and it only takes a few minutes to walk to Huimin Street, Yongning Gate, and Stele Forest Museum. Farther ones, such as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi Museum, are just a 15-minute walk away, which is simply too convenient, not to mention the surrounding pedestrian streets and shopping malls. In addition to scenic spots in the suburbs such as Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Pool, other attractions are basically on foot. My friends and I also compared this hotel online for a long time and finally chose this hotel. It should be the best value for money.
A hotel with so many rooms in this location is quite impressive.
The decoration of the hotel is also simple and luxurious.
You can see the night view here from the rooftop. Isn't it amazing?
The hotel's buffet is also excellent, with exquisite workmanship, a wide variety of varieties and good taste.
This one was taken at the subway entrance. In addition to the subway, you will reach the entrance of the hotel.
the first day
Arrived at the hotel very late due to the air ticket. When I arrived at the hotel, I gestured and the young man from the concierge came to help with my luggage. Even in the early morning, I have to say that the hotel's service attitude is still very peaceful and enthusiastic. I gave a good comment from this place.
The hotel is very smart as a whole, with an American style. The corridor lights and bathroom are all smart sensors. The smart assistant in the room can also sing and say cross talk for you. It is so smart.
What I like most are bedding and bathrobes, which can really be comparable to a five-star luxury hotel. It feels particularly comfortable to the touch without a trace of roughness!
I woke up in the morning and woke up full of energy. I came down to have breakfast. The Bell Tower Street outside the door was already full of traffic.
Shaanxi History Museum
After a full meal, we came to the Shaanxi Museum.
It collects precious cultural relics unearthed in Shaanxi, most of which are Han and Tang cultural relics. It is a major feature for enthusiasts who are used to seeing cultural relics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The basic display of the Shaanxi History Museum is ancient civilization in Shaanxi. Huimin Street
After visiting the museum with cultural science popularization, follow local friends in Xi'an to Hui Street to taste the snacks here.
Xi'an is a famous city of food and snacks, where you can enjoy Sanqin cuisine to your heart's content. Xi'an has a strong northwest flavor, and there are countless local snacks. Roujiamo, mutton steamed buns, cold rice noodles, Qishan noodles, and dumpling banquets are famous Shaanxi foods that many people are familiar with. There are many restaurants operating mutton and steamed buns in Xi'an, and there are several specialized mutton and steamed buns restaurants on almost every street. In addition to the night markets on Nanshaomen and Dongxin Street, you can also go to Huimin Street. On both sides of the street are antique buildings, and there are all kinds of well-known Xi'an snacks.
This is the legendary writing of biang biang noodles.
There are many places to make skewers on this street. Prices in Xi'an are very cheap, and people can only make skewers at seventy or eighty per person.
This is a picture of the clock tower taken at the entrance of the hotel at night. The lights are shining brightly. Isn't it beautiful ~
It was already past ten o'clock when I returned to the hotel, and I was exhausted when I saw the bed ~
the next day
Dayan Pagoda
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, also known as the Daci 'en Temple Pagoda, is located in the Daci' en Temple in the southern suburbs of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China. There are wooden ladders inside the tower that can be rolled up, and there are archway entrances on all four sides of each floor. You can lean on the railing and overlook the ancient city of Xi'an. A folk person said: "If you don't reach the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, you don't count yourself as Xi'an. "The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is shaped like a blocked slope in the Western Regions. It has a brick surface and an earth core. It cannot be climbed. There are relics on every floor. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a landmark building and famous monument in Xi'an City, and a symbol of the ancient city of Xi'an. Therefore, what is painted in the center of the emblem of Xi'an City is this famous ancient tower
The rain is pattering, and it is quite pleasant to stroll here.
This ancient city is full of antique charm.
Many monks also come here to worship.
Xiaoyan Pagoda (Jianfu Temple)
The shape and structure of the Xiaoyan Pagoda are representative works of early China's dense eaves towers, which influenced the construction of dense eaves brick and stone towers in many areas of China later.
Although the Little Wild Goose Pagoda is not as tall and spectacular as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the vicissitudes of history can be felt from the building itself.
Xi'an Museum
Next to the Xiaoyan Pagoda is the Xi'an Museum, which collects many cultural relics from various eras in Xi'an. Some of the cultural relics were unearthed in important dynasties in Chinese history such as the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang.
Among them, there are many high-quality cultural relics, such as: the Tang Dynasty's "Three-color Birthday Horse", which adopts a saddle and unbridled shape, reflecting the free and uninhibited social custom of the Tang Dynasty; the Tang Dynasty's "Three-color Lotus Petal Holder" with a lotus petal pattern matched with a tower lid jar has obvious Buddhist meaning; the Western Han Dynasty cultural relic "Garlic Pot" is a representative artifact of Qin culture. It originated in Guanzhong and later spread to various places with the Qin Dynasty's Unification War. By the Western Hanzhong Period, the Garlic Pot basically disappeared.
Selavi C'estLaVie (Xiaozhai Saige Store)
I had lunch at noon at Serrawi in Saige, Xiaozhai.

Located next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the ancient capital of Xi'an, it is China's first large-scale royal garden-style cultural theme park to fully display the style of the Tang Dynasty. As early as in history, Furong Garden was a well-known royal garden. With the background of "entering history, feeling humanities, and experiencing life", it displayed the splendid civilization of the Tang Dynasty during the prosperous times. The night view in the garden is also very bright in color. Whenever night falls and the lanterns are first on, you travel through the brightly lit Tang Cultural Corridor, Fanglin Garden, Ziyun Tower and other places. Everything is dazzling. Against the backdrop of the moonlight and lights, the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden is even more elegant. beautiful.

Qin Shihuang Mausoleum Museum (Terracotta Warriors)
When you come to Xi'an, you must come to see the terracotta warriors and witness the might of Qin Shihuang.
In the burial pit of the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, more than a thousand pottery figurines of soldiers were unearthed here, each with different expressions and postures. According to historical records, Qin Shihuang Ying Zheng began to build a cemetery when he ascended the throne at the age of 13. The vastness of the project and the grandeur of spirit set a precedent for extravagant burials by feudal rulers in past dynasties. The unearthed terracotta warriors can be divided into general terracotta warriors, warrior terracotta warriors, and chariot warriors according to their different costumes, expressions and hairstyles. The face shape, hairstyle, posture and expression of each pottery figurine are different. The pottery figurines and pottery horses were originally painted, but due to subsequent fire and immersion, most of them peeled off and discolored. The Qin Terracotta Warriors amazed the audience with their huge scale, majestic scenes, and superb scientific and artistic level. The Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Army Museum has also become one of the symbols of Xi'an.
Pit No. 1 is the earliest excavated pit with the largest area. There are corridors at the east and west ends of the pit, and there are corridors on the north and south sides. In the middle are nine east-west passing holes, separated by rammed earth walls. This pit consists of chariot soldiers as the main body, and chariot and infantry form a rectangular joint formation. The main body of the military formation faces east, and there is a row of warriors facing outward in the south, north and west corridors, serving as wing guards and guards; the three rows of warriors in the east are the pioneers. A huge main army formation of chariots and infantry is arranged in the nine passing holes. There are four rows of warriors in each passing hole, some wearing battle robes, some wearing armor, and a chariot in the middle. Behind each chariot is a driver and two chariot riders.

One chariot, four horse figurines and 68 warrior figurines were unearthed in Pit 3. The pottery terracotta warriors in the pit are arranged in a gangway pattern. It is the command center of the Qin army formation.

Huaqing Pool is a royal palace located on the ruins of Huaqing Palace in the Tang Dynasty. It is 30 kilometers away from Xi'an in the west, next to Mount Li in the south, and Weishui in the north. Due to its eternal hot spring resources, the love story between Emperor Minghuang of the Tang Dynasty and Imperial Concubine Yang, the place where the Xi'an Incident took place, and rich cultural and historical resources, it has become a famous cultural tourism attraction in China and a national key cultural relic protection unit.
The buildings in the scenic area are magnificent and the garden scenery is unique.
This is the legendary sacred spring water.

Friends from Xi'an were invited to watch the fountain performance together.
the fourth day
Xi'an city wall
On the last day in Xi'an, we were relatively leisurely. We hung around on the city wall in the scorching sun.
The ancient city wall is a landmark landscape in the ancient capital of Xi'an. It was built on the basis of the imperial city of the Tang Dynasty, including a series of facilities such as moat and corner towers.
At present, there are eight places in the Xi'an City Wall that can be climbed to the city, namely: East Gate (Changle Gate), South Gate (Yongning Gate), West Gate (Anding Gate), North Gate (Anyuan Gate), Hanguang Gate, Wenchang Gate, Heping Gate, Shangde Gate, tourists can climb the city nearby.
These are the most primitive city wall sites in ancient times.
From the city wall, it feels so good to look down on the ancient city. There are many small vendors shouting below. This is a reflection of life.
Beilin Museum
Not far away from the city wall is the Forest of Steles Museum. In the museum, you can appreciate the steles and epitaph of past dynasties. The steles and epitaph collected here span more than 2000 years.
Gaojiadayuan
Come to Huimin Street again, this is the Gao family compound.
Gao Yuesong's former residence, commonly known as the Gaojia Courtyard, is located on Beiyuanmen Muslim Snack Street, a prosperous commercial street in Xi'an City. This courtyard is a three-courtyard four-entry brick and wood courtyard. Its main body is a building during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years.

This meal is the most popular snack bar in Xi'an, called Chang' an Food Stall.
Looking for this memory of the ancient city, traveling through the streets and alleys of ancient charm, the glorious relics left from ancient times to the present appear in my mind, and I sincerely admire the craftsmanship of our ancestors.
