Xi'an is a famous historical and cultural city in China and a famous tourist resort. In recent years, under the vigorous promotion of "Double Micro and One Shake", Xi'an has become popular on the Internet, and cultural IPs such as "Xi'an·Most China" have become popular all over the country. Due to the impact of the epidemic, the "May Day holiday" in 2021 has become the second golden week in the true sense after normalized epidemic prevention and control. According to statistics from Ctrip. com, the search volume for inbound flights in Xi'an increased by 779% on May Day this year, ranking second among the most popular tourist destinations in the country. The long-suppressed tourism enthusiasm of the people of the country will soon be released!
There are many attractions to choose from when visiting Xi'an, and each route focuses on different points. If this is your first time in Xi'an, Xiaobian will recommend several of the most well-known must-see scenic spots. With only 5 days of vacation, you will have a worthwhile trip.
DAY 1: Although there are many criticisms about the one-day trip to the Eastern Route in Xi'an, the history and culture of Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Pond are too representative, so they are recommended as must-see attractions.
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang are the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country and are known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". The existing No. 1 Pit and Emperor Mausoleum Museum are the most spectacular. Pit No. 1 is majestic, and the Emperor Mausoleum Museum has the most precious bronze chariots and horses of the town hall.
Huaqing Pool was built at the northern foot of Mount Li. It is one of the first 5A-level scenic spots in China. Due to its natural hot spring resources, it became the most famous Li Palace garden of the royal family in the Tang Dynasty. The large-scale historical dance drama "Song of Eternal Sorrow" is staged every year from April to October.
DAY 2: There is also another scenic spot on the east line-Xiyue Huashan.
Huashan is famous for its dangers. Its mountain roads are winding and there are cliffs everywhere. It is generally recommended to climb Huashan at night and arrive at Dongfeng in the morning to watch the sunrise. Now Huashan has a newly built Xifeng cableway, which takes 20 minutes to reach the top of Xifeng, allowing you to tour Huashan in one day.
DAY 3: There are many historical monuments worth visiting in Xi'an, the most representative of which are the "Ming City Wall" and "Big Wild Goose Pagoda". If you have enough time, you can also watch the water dance show in the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda at night and enjoy the city that never sleeps in the Tang Dynasty.
Xi'an Ming City Wall is the largest and most completely preserved ancient city wall site in China.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built in the third year of Yonghui of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty. It was used to worship Buddha statues, relics and other objects brought back from India by Master Xuanzang. Dacien Temple was the most prosperous Buddhist temple in Chang 'an in Tang Dynasty.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda North Square is the largest fountain and waterscape square in Asia. It is recommended to come and watch the light and waterscape show at night.
Datang Sleepless City is a wide pedestrian neighborhood south of Daci 'en Temple. It is the core scenic spot of "Xi'an·Most China" and a must-have place for Douyin Check-in.
DAY 4: Come to Shaanxi History Museum and Xi'an Stele Forest Museum to experience a pure cultural journey and further experience the profoundness of the ancient city's culture.
Shaanxi History Museum is the largest national-level history museum in my country. It has three exhibition halls and displays more than 3000 cultural relics. It is known as the "Chinese Treasure Warehouse" for its rich cultural relics collection.
Xi'an Forest of Steles Museum is a treasure house of Chinese calligraphy and stone carving art, collecting more than 2300 steles from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.
DAY 5: Xi'an's food culture should not be missed. Xi'an has Shaanxi cuisine and the very famous Hui Street snacks.
Huimin Street covers Beiyuanmen, Dapiyuan, Xiyangshi and other streets. On both sides of the road are Ming and Qing style buildings or Minyuan buildings, and there are many time-honored brands in the block. Here, you can eat all over Chang 'an with one bite, including mutton soaked, soup dumplings, candied jujube cake, cured beef and other specialty delicacies.
