The warm early summer is full of love, and the festival 520, which belongs to couples, is coming soon. Where can I go with my beloved her to live up to such an annual romantic festival? Eating and watching movies is too monotonous, so why not come to Qujiang Hanyao Ruins Park to experience the love of the ancients.
There is no Xue Pinggui in real history
Qujiang Hanyao Ruins Park is based on the romantic love story of Xue Pinggui and Wang Baochuan. Since ancient times, it has been known as the "Land of Great Love in China" and is also a very rare and representative love culture theme park in China. The Hanyao site consists of cave dwellings, former sites, loess cliffs, etc. It has irreplaceable cultural research and tourism value. The site was built in the late Qing Dynasty to sing praises and commemorate Wang Baochuan's great love for more than 18 years. We often see the sad and beautiful love story between Xue Pinggui and Wang Baochuan in many film and television works, Tang poetry, Song poetry, and Yuan opera. However, what is surprising is that according to historical research, there is no such person as Xue Pinggui in history. If this is the case, what about the Cold Kiln Ruins?
Xue Rengui and Xue Pinggui
Rumors say that Xue Pinggui was based on Xue Rengui, a famous Tang Dynasty celebrity. Xue Rengui was named Queen of Pingliao and moved his family from Longmen to what is now Xi'an. Later, Shanxi built a cold kiln in memory of Xue Rengui. At this time, Shaanxi was unwilling to lag behind, so they compiled a opera. In order not to change history, Xue Pinggui was created alone. In fact, the Qujiang Cold Kiln Site we see today is based on the opera "Five Dianpo".
Qujiang Hanyao Relics Park
Walking into the park, you can see a red landscape wall more than 200 meters long, which is extremely shocking. The entire wall adopts traditional paper-cutting art form, depicting a long scroll of love culture, engraved with ten famous love stories, adding a strong romantic atmosphere to this Hanyao Ruins Park. Architectural attractions such as "Wang Baochuan Temple", Hanyao Ruins, and "Piaocai Tower" attract a large number of tourists here every year to worship this love shrine. The four characters "Qujiang Cold Kiln" inscribed by the famous calligrapher Shi Xianzhang hang on the majestic archway. The "Sifu Pavilion" and "Bingxin Stone" not far away are all witnesses of Wang Baochuan's love. The poem describes that Wang Baochuan sits on this stone all year round and misses her husband, so he named it "Bingxin Stone".
There is a statue of Wang Baochuan on the square in front of the "Zhenlie Hall" in the park. It is dignified, elegant and lifelike. Even though life in the cold kiln is difficult, it still cannot conceal Wang Baochuan's charm. There are also two colorful buildings built along the cliffs in the park, Tan Kiln and Bie Kiln. Various statues are carved inside to depict the characters in the story."Ru Ku Cave" is the cold kiln where Wang Baochuan lives and lives. The one-foot-square window and the room that only allows two people to turn around really respond to the "cold" in the cold kiln. It is precisely this harsh environment that makes this steadfast love even more precious.
