Xi'an has turned cooler in August this year. This is due to the continuous rainfall in the first two months. Such a refreshing weather makes me want to go out and have a trip. The city's attractions have brought friends who have visited Xi'an many times. Just go further and invite friends to climb the mountains over the weekend. After thinking about it, I was preparing to go to Taibai Mountain. It was also influenced by the saying that there was a bird's way in the west when Taibai was in the west.
I didn't do any strategies before setting off, but because of the high altitude of Taibai Mountain, I wore long clothes and trousers and also brought a thin coat. It took about an hour to drive from the city to Taibai Mountain, and it was only past seven o'clock when we reached the foot of the mountain. Anyway, I couldn't catch up to watch the sunrise, so I wandered around the scenic spot casually, and went to Honghuaping to prepare for taking a Panshan bus up the mountain.
The scenic bus at 8 o'clock feels like it hasn't been long before it reaches the transfer point. At this time, you can get off and enjoy the scenery. After watching the scenery, you can catch the scenic bus at the transfer point ahead and go up the mountain. Because I had heard the name of Uncle Hai long ago, I wanted to go and see it early, and I didn't pay much attention to other attractions.
However, this arrangement in the scenic area is still quite good. Tourists control the time themselves and stay for a while as soon as they are interested in any scenery.
After arriving at the sky and the earth, we set off non-stop for Wengong Temple. At this time, the sea is higher. Those with poor physical fitness should not walk too fast. Those with slower walking distance can reach Wengong Temple in about two to three hours. During this period, we will pass by Xiaowengong Temple. Because they are all stone roads, it is acceptable to walk a little faster.
There are also shops in Tianyuan and Tiandi, where you can increase supplies to replenish your physical strength when needed. There are alpine meadows along the way, and large areas of exposed gravel are very spectacular.
After arriving at Wengong Temple, I discovered that it was a place to eat and stay. At first, I thought it was a temple building based on the name. If I was too tired here or arrived too late, I could choose to stay for one night and go up the mountain the next day. It's a bit difficult to go up the mountain from Wengong Temple. After all, the altitude of 3500 meters is here. Taibai Mountain is worthy of being the only mountain in Xi'an that gives you altitude reaction. After walking for a while, I had the intention of giving up, but I thought that I had to see Uncle Hai since I was here, so I mocked each other with my friends and actually encouraged me to go up the mountain. Only after I really climbed the mountain did I feel that everything in front was worth it. This is a mountain climbing that is worth the money.
Finally, I would like to remind everyone that an altitude of more than 3,000 meters is really no joke, and that Taibai Mountain Forest Park and Taibai Mountain Nature Reserve are really not the same concept. For example, Taibai Mountain Forest Park is a national 5A-level scenic spot from the foot of the mountain to the sky, while Taibai Mountain Nature Reserve is a real nature reserve. There is only a supply station that does not even have some basic tourist facilities. Food and water at the supply station must be carried by manpower. This is also why prices are so expensive after the sky is round and the earth is round, because it is really not easy for goods to go up the mountain.
Entering the reserve is the real mountaineering. If it is the elderly, children, people with difficulty in legs and feet or severe altitude sickness, it is not recommended to go up. After all, your body is important.
