First stop: Yongning Gate. City Wall Lantern Festival
Before the outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan this year, we caught the lighting ceremony of the Xi'an City Wall Lantern Festival.
Xi'an really perfectly combines ancient times and modern times.
Xi'an's city wall,
To be precise, what is now intact is the Ming City Wall.
If you can only visit one attraction when you come to Xi'an, don't miss the city wall.
There are four main gates of Xi'an City Wall: Changle Gate (East Gate), Yongning Gate (South Gate), Anding Gate (West Gate), and Anyuan Gate (North Gate). These four gates are also the original gates of the ancient city wall.
Since the Republic of China, many new gates have been opened to facilitate access to the Ancient City. So far, there are 18 gates in the Xi'an City Wall.
Yongning Gate, the main south gate of Xi'an City Wall, is located in the west of the middle of the South City Wall.
It was originally the "Anmen Gate" of Chang 'an Imperial City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It was preserved when Han built a new city in the late Tang Dynasty.
From the 7th to the 11th year of Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty (1374 to 1378), Xi'an Prefecture City was expanded. This gate was used as the south gate and renamed "Yongning Gate".
However, the lintel type three-door hole in the Sui and Tang Dynasties was changed to a brick arch-type single door hole.
Later, it was the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, and it continues to this day.
In June of the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Zhang Fengzhen, the governor of Shaanxi Province, wrote an inscription on the lintel of Yongning Gate.
As night falls, the lights are on
It feels like traveling back to the prosperous times of the Tang Dynasty
Especially the lanterns hanging on the trees, which gives a special feeling of travel
Second stop: Banpo Museum
This is an old museum that has been open for 58 years.
The museum was built on the Banpo site excavated back then.
It displays various types of pottery, daily necessities, etc. excavated.
The scene restores the life scenes of our ancestors more than 6000 years ago.
Banpo Site is the largest and most completely preserved matriarchal clan commune village site in the Yellow River Basin.
It is the first prehistoric settlement site museum in New China.

Don't miss this shop if you are visiting Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Lake Lishan.
This is a restaurant with the theme of Qin culture.
Eating here is quite ceremonial.
The waiters are all dressed in Qin clothes and serve food. Guests can also experience taking photos in Qin clothes when they come here, which is full of fun.
The dishes are also good. While eating, there are people ringing chimes next to them.
The dishes are served one plate after another, and compared with Japanese food, each person has a separate portion.
In fact, Japan's food culture was also passed down from China.
During the Qin Dynasty, China still had a separate meal system, but later it slowly evolved into a big pot.
The chimes of the Qin Dynasty can be taken in Qin clothes and experience it!
Third stop: Qin Shihuang Terracotta Warriors Museum
As a native of Chengdu, I have been to Xi'an countless times.
The first time I went to Xi'an, the most important destination was Qin Shihuang's terracotta warriors.
Even though more than 2000 years have passed, I can vaguely feel the spirit of the Qin Emperor at that time.
It is said that when these terracotta warriors were first unearthed, they were all colored. You can imagine what you felt when you first saw them.
With current excavation technology, these terracotta warriors have lost their color in an instant.

It was even more shocking!
Interaction with the living "Terracotta Warriors"
Sixth stop: Huaqing Palace. Tang Palace Lantern Festival
Huaqing Pool is also one of the most important attractions in Xi'an.
It was the separate palace of the Tang Dynasty emperors.
The most famous story here is the story of Yang Guifei and Li Longji.
The performance venue of the famous "Song of Eternal Regret" is also here, recreating the story of Imperial Consort Yang.
opening ceremony
The lights at night match the buildings of Huaqing Palace best
May you shine with thousands of lights and the magnificent scene of the Tang Dynasty
More than 2000 star lights shine, mountain moon screens, lake lake lights, pavilions and pavilions lighting effects, laser tunnel special effects, etc., creating a giant three-dimensional, prosperous scene of the Tang Dynasty in the prosperous era with the same landscape. The giant projection lamp of Lishan can better reflect what you want to say. Words full of expression.
Suddenly looking back, the man was in the dim lights
In this prosperous Tang Palace, hold hands with your loved ones. Thousands of lanterns floated past in front of me, and the fire trees and silver flowers looked like a fairyland. Some grand, some exquisite, or some cute lanterns matched the New Year. With you by my side, it was particularly romantic.
Appreciating lanterns, guessing lantern riddles, setting off fireworks, dancing dragons and lions... the joy of celebrating the whole world, the long end of the world. The city is full of lights and thousands of alleys are crowded with people. Among thousands of people, thousands of years, and in the boundless wilderness of time, you happen to meet the person you meet, neither earlier nor later.

Relying on the 36-square-kilometer Han Great Wall site.

Eighth stop: Yongxingfang
If you want to eat all Shaanxi cuisine in one day, then this is the only place you can do it in Xi'an, and that is Yongxingfang.
Yongxing Square, originally the residence of Wei Zheng during the Tang Dynasty... has now been developed into a food and cultural district, retaining the original Tang Dynasty architectural style, allowing you to travel and experience the Tang Dynasty style in one day.
Yongxing Square brings together more than 50 specialty food operators from all over Shaanxi, including provincial-level intangible cultural heritage food, city-level intangible cultural heritage food, handmade folk art performances and snacks with various place names.

At Yongxingfang, you can finally experience it for yourself
#Zichang Pancakes #

Guanzhong Tower: "Wei Zheng's Family Banquet"
There is a high-rise building in Yongxing Square. There is a square in front of the high-rise building. There is a miniature Chang 'an City on the square. Glass covers the ancient 108 Square. Nowadays, people continue to live on it, so this square is called 108Fang Square, and this building is called Guanzhong Tower.
The most famous thing in Guanzhong Tower is the Wei Zheng Family Banquet.
Every dish has a story
Ninth Station: Bell and Drum Tower
Bell and Drum Tower is the collective name of Bell Tower and Drum Tower. It is located in the center of Xi'an City and is a landmark building in Xi'an. The two Ming Dynasty buildings echo each other and are spectacular.
Bell Tower is an ancient building that embodies the Chinese national architectural style of the Ming Dynasty. It was built in the 17th year of Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty (1384 AD). Its original site was at Guangji Street Corner of the present West Street. It was moved to the current site in the 10th year of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty (1582 AD), becoming an axis building that connects the east and west and echoes the north and south. In the past, a large clock was hung upstairs to warn the police and tell the time, hence the name "Bell Tower".
Xi'an Drum Tower is the largest Drum Tower in China. It is located at the southern end of the North Courtyard of West Street in Xi'an City, facing the Bell Tower in the east.
The Drum Tower was built in the 13th year of Hongwu of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, and was rebuilt twice in the 38th year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty and the 5th year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.
There was a giant drum upstairs, and the drum was beat every day to tell the time, so it was called the "Drum Tower". The Drum Tower spans Beiyuanmen Street. The Drum Tower and Bell Tower are twin brothers, only half a mile apart, complementing each other and adding color to the ancient city. The Drum Tower was built in the 13th year of Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty (AD 1380), four years earlier than the original Bell Tower. The building base area is 738.55 square meters larger than that of the Bell Tower and 34 meters high. It is as majestic and beautiful as the Bell Tower. In ancient times, a big drum was hung upstairs, and the drum was beat in the evening to tell the residents of the city to tell the time, so it was called the Drum Tower.
Food recommendation: Drunken Chang 'an
If you can only go to one place to eat when you go to Xi'an, Drunken Chang' an cannot be missed.
I have been to Xi'an many times before and after, and I have already eaten Drunken Chang' an three times.
I have visited the Bell Tower flagship store twice because it is very close to the Bell and Drum Tower and within walking distance.
Their dishes are quite creative and have been improved based on Shaanxi Cuisine Capital to make the dishes both beautiful and delicious. Every dish can be said to be an Internet celebrity dish.

It can be said that this place leads Xi'an's Internet celebrity culture.
The tumblers, who have been particularly popular recently, perform here
Relying on the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the city starts from Xuanzang Square in the north, reaches Tang City Wall Ruins Park in the south, starts from Cien East Road in the east, and ends from Cien West Road in the west. Hotel recommendation: Xi'an Zhanbai Art Hotel
This hotel is a particularly literary themed hotel that I heard about last year.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda can be seen right next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and even in some rooms of the hotel.
The hotel's decoration is very artistic and cost-effective.
A friend has recommended it before, but this is my first time here.
It is indeed worth recommending.
Hotel aisles,
The walls are covered with artist paintings,
If you like, you can buy it directly.
The hotel room is quite large.
Especially the parent-child room,
There is a queen bed and a twin bed.
You can also easily stay with your children.
