Before my children's summer vacation, my daughter and I booked a route for our summer vacation and set out for Xi'an! The original departure time was August 11. Due to the influence of the super typhoon (Lizima), all high-speed rail and aircraft were suspended. The booked B & Bs and transportation were cancelled one by one and postponed for one week. However, the departure time has changed. But these are not important. What is important is that we successfully arrived in Xi'an on the 18th. Next, I will record the journey of these few days, hoping to be helpful to you as you prepare to leave for Xi'an!

D1: Pack up your luggage on August 17, in the afternoon, Jiaxing South to Hangzhou East (adult ticket: 34.5 yuan/person, children ticket: 17.5 yuan/person), and check into Holiday Inn Express Hangzhou East Railway Station that night (400 yuan/night). This hotel is very close to the East Railway Station, and there are many restaurants, entertainment, etc. next to it. It is a small business circle, very convenient, and cleaner and more affordable than eating and accommodation at the station.

D2: The high-speed train at 7:04 a.m. on the 18th will arrive at 14:43 p.m., Hangzhou East-Xi 'an North (adult ticket is 635.5 yuan/person, children ticket is 327 yuan/person). I booked an economical pickup service on Ctrip in advance.(62 yuan), the driver arrived on time and helped us carry our luggage. Personally, I feel that the hygiene inside the car needs to be improved, and the driver's language literacy needs to be improved. About 16 kilometers to the hotel where we stayed-Bell Tower Hotel (488 yuan/night, 5 nights, a total of 2440 yuan).

Bell Tower Hotel is a high-end hotel with a very good location. It is located in the center of Xi'an. It is adjacent to a commercial street in the east, an antique street in the south, an imitation Ming and Qing Dynasties street in the west, and Yingbin Avenue in the north. There are two subway entrances at the entrance of Bell Tower Hotel. Direct underground passages can lead to Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Hui Street. There are electronic signs at each entrance of the subway passage, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. Go straight south to reach the Yongning Gate of the city wall. Next to the Yongning Gate is the Shuyuan Gate. The first turning right at the Shuyuan Gate is the Forest of Steles Museum. We will mention it in our travel notes.

The check-in process was quick. We booked a twin room, but we were a little disappointed. The single bed was not big and suitable for one person. It was not suitable for families. The bathroom was smaller, maybe because the hotel was old!

At about 4 p.m., we went to Xi'an Restaurant in the parking lot downstairs for dinner. This restaurant is a place that everyone in Xi'an knows. It has authentic Xi'an cuisine. It is open all day on Saturday and Sunday, and has time from Monday to Friday. Open until 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. We arrived in Xi'an on Sunday and didn't have to wait in line after four o'clock. We ordered: gourd chicken, Ziyang steamed basin, beef and mutton steamed buns, Shaanxi BB noodles, bubble oil cake, Xi'an cold rice noodles, glutinous rice ice cream and Huanggui thick wine.

Gourd chicken: It is said to be the best and most authentic one in Xi'an. It is a whole chicken fried with golden and crispy skin. The meat inside is delicious and non-greasy. It can be dipped in pepper and used, depending on personal taste.

Ziyang steamed basin: I don't usually order it based on the name, but it's my favorite food in the whole meal. Use chicken soup made from chicken to make the soup base, add corn, carrots, etc.(some of which I can't name). It is very nutritious and I drank several bowls.

Beef and mutton steamed buns: It's delicious, it's even more delicious with some peppers.

Shaanxi biangbiang noodles: Typical Shaanxi characteristics. The amount is a little small. In fact, it is just a small bowl. It feels large when photographed up close, but it is delicious!

Bubble Oil Cake: Won the Golden Tripod Award and is called a famous Chinese snack. The bubbles above melt immediately in the mouth. They are sweet and have a very special taste. It is said that only Shaanxi noodles and water can be made.

Huanggui Chou Liquor: It's better when eaten with bubble cake! Xi'an people have grown up drinking the "wine". It has a hint of sweetness. For people who drink high-level white wine, it means drinking a "drink".

Xi'an Cold Noodles: There are green vegetables, bean sprouts, etc. The taste is not as monotonous as our cold Noodles here. Sour and spicy, which is my favorite flavor.

Glutinous rice ice cream: It's the taste of when we were young! It is also a traditional ice cream!

My daughter drank for the first time and dedicated it to Xi'an! Eat and drink enough, and you are very satisfied! The only shortcoming is that the hygiene of tables and chairs needs to be improved!!! Per capita consumption is 90 yuan/person, highly recommended index: five stars

To the east of the hotel is the shopping mall. The sun goes down. We go for a walk in the shopping mall and take a walk after dinner.

Standing in front of the mall, the wind was blowing and the sun was setting, I found that the bell tower and the restaurant were so beautiful!

D3: I got up at 7 o'clock and arrived at the restaurant at 8 o'clock for about 300 meters south. The family had breakfast and ordered two bowls of noodles, a golden cake and a roujiamo. My daughter loves to eat golden cakes, but the roujiamo forgot to take photos.

Three pieces of gold cakes for one serving

What kind of noodles are mushrooms? I forgot the name, but they taste delicious!

Tomato and egg noodles are not spicy at all and are not Xi'an specialties, but it would be good to have a light breakfast.

First stop: Bell Tower

When you arrive at the ticket gate at 8:30, you can directly swipe the QR code to book tickets for Ctrip, without queuing, which is very convenient.

Before entering the Bell Tower, there is a bell on the right hand side. This is a replica of the "Jingyun Bell". The original is collected in the Forest of Steles Museum (we saw it at the Forest of Steles Museum, but did not take photos).

The roof of the first floor is very beautiful and is in the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty.

Behind it is the hotel where we stayed, which is very close and very convenient!

A shopping street is a shopping mall.

Reflecting with the Drum Tower!

Straight south is the Yongning Gate of the city wall.

I happened to meet the Zisha pot exhibition. I like Zisha pots from the Ming, Qing and modern dynasties very much, so I won't put them here. Let's put three pictures on it! Hahaha!

Come out of the Bell Tower, pass through the Bell and Drum Tower Square, and you will reach the Drum Tower, which is only a few hundred meters, very close! It is said that this is the largest Drum Tower in the country!

When you climb the Drum Tower, you can see a 1.8-meter-long drum and 24 red drums with 24 solar terms engraved on each side, which is very imposing.

When we arrived, we were just in time for the performance, and traditional folk music and dances would be performed at different times every day.

Standing on the Drum Tower, you can see the Bell and Drum Tower Square dotted with green grass and red flowers. It is very beautiful. There is also a map of China made of flowers under the Drum Tower, which is very eye-catching!

What's inside the Drum Tower? Let's take a look! First, on the first floor, various drums are displayed. Let's take a look at some pictures!

The one we are most familiar with is the flower drum. Now farmers in Shanxi can also dance the flower drum dance. The second floor is Ming and Qing furniture and Qi Baishi's paintings. The light in the interior is too dark, so I'll just take a few pictures!

After visiting the Drum Tower, you will be very hungry, because standing on the Drum Tower, you can smell the aroma of barbecue on the Hui Street below the Drum Tower, hahaha!

Note: Ctrip can book a joint ticket for Bell and Drum Tower. Adult tickets are 50 yuan/piece and children tickets are 30 yuan/piece. The QR code is scanned directly.

The snacks on Huimin Street are actually not delicious, but I still want Amway to open an ice cream shop at the intersection of Beiyuanmen. It is also a local "Haagen Dazs" in Xi'an. The most peculiar thing is that it has many strange flavors. We ordered: traditional glutinous rice, passion fruit, cold rice and tofu. Among them, cold rice is a bit spicy, and the service here is also very good!

In addition to eating, there are two other attractions worth visiting on Hui Street: Gaojia Courtyard and Faxing Lane Mosque

This house is a shadow puppet show on Hui Street. It costs 20 yuan/person. I don't recommend watching it here. I still recommend going directly to the Gao Family Courtyard to buy a joint ticket. Tickets + shadow puppet show + traditional opera performance =60 yuan/person. You can buy tickets directly on site. It's more cost-effective!

The average age of artists performing in old opera is already 70 years old. They have participated in the Shanghai World Expo. They are worthy of respect and are worth seeing! After watching the performance, visit the Gao Family Courtyard!

Walking through the round gate, I can see a few birds on the right. They can not only speak Chinese, but also speak English!

There is also a big goose behind, walking leisurely. We also leisurely visited the compound and then went to Faxiang Lane Mosque.

When entering the mosque, you must wear long-sleeved trousers. It was too hot in summer, so we wore trousers. The mosque looks dilapidated, but it is very clean and quiet inside, and many foreigners go there. We happened to encounter a tour guide explaining to Shanghai tourists as soon as we entered the door. We listened by the tour and learned about different beliefs and cultures.

The tour guide said that the four words on Bian were written by Empress Dowager Cixi.

This door is all-encompassing and complex! But always wish everyone good luck!

After coming out of the Faxing Lane Mosque, there is a small wholesale market on your right hand, where you can find some small things. You can follow the market path to the exit leading to the Bell Tower.

Note: Tickets purchased on site, 25 yuan/person, no child tickets

From the morning to the afternoon, I was actually a little tired and went straight back to the hotel to rest. When the sun was about to set, we went to Yongxing Square for dinner.

Yongxing Square is newly built and is also a place for Internet celebrities to check in. The most popular bowl of wine is here. It is cleaner and sanitary than Hui Street. The only shortcoming is that there are too many people. We walked around and rushed out. It was crowded!

There are many snacks and you are not afraid of crowded people. You can settle your dinner here. We evacuated quickly because we had children. Later, we ate a simple meal at Amway's roadside restaurant. The overall taste was average, and the shrimp tail and eggplant tasted good!

Note: Per capita consumption is 100 yuan/person, which is a bit expensive and is not recommended.

D4. I got up at around 6 o'clock in the morning. I bought breakfast at a roadside breakfast stall. I forgot to take pictures. I rushed to the gate of the Shaanxi Museum around 8 o'clock. By this time, many people were already lining up. Starting from after 8 o'clock, the first batch with tickets will be arranged to queue up at the ticket collection gate, and the window will work on time at 8:30. For safety reasons, I snatched three tickets, including one for a child ticket. The staff said that I didn't need a child ticket. I wouldn't ask for a ticket even if I was 1.4 meters long, and my attitude was particularly good.

After passing the security check and entering the inner square of the museum, there were not as many people at the door. Many people did not know that the Shaanxi Museum did not sell tickets.

When you enter the museum, you can find the guide on the right hand side. It is 50 yuan for half an hour. Since our ticket includes everything, the guide's time is 2 hours and the fee is 200 yuan. Everyone has a headset. Of course, if you meet a good guide, it's worth this money. Our guide is very good, speaks in detail, and takes good care of the children.

There must be a guide, otherwise it will be difficult to understand. Next, let's take a look at a few treasures from the Basic Museum:

The Basic Museum is very large and has many national treasures. Compared to the Tang Dynasty relics on the second floor, it is much smaller and crowded, but the treasures are more magical. Send some treasures to see.

Every treasure has its own story! The last museum is the Tang Dynasty Murals Museum. Photography is not allowed in this museum, but this museum is the most shocking. The tomb murals here are very exquisite, and I have to admire the wisdom of the ancients. If you want to enter this museum, you can pay attention to the Shaanxi Museum's Weixin Official Accounts. Tickets will only be opened one day in advance. It is best to grab tickets at 0 a.m.. The chance is still very high, 300 yuan/sheet, including all museum content. Be sure to hire a guide, otherwise you will just take a quick look at the scenery. If you don't enter this museum, you can grab free tickets at 0 o'clock a week in advance and you can only visit the basic museum. According to your choice, I wish everyone success in grabbing tickets!

It was already noon when we came out of the museum. Everyone returned to the hotel and was too tired to talk. They fell asleep without having lunch. When they woke up, it was already three-thirty. So the hotel goes out and turns right and walks to the College Gate. This is a place for calligraphy and painting enthusiasts to check in. The four treasures of literature and paper-cut shadow puppets are sold in almost every house, but there are also many fakes.

My daughter experiences printed poems at an experience price of 15 yuan/time.

Send a postcard to a good friend, total price: 6 yuan (including stamps)

This is an Internet celebrity restaurant hidden in the Gate of the Academy. I come to pick up the number at 4:04 and line up at 4:50. The small courtyard is full of people, and I call the number on time at 5:00. Look what I ordered?!

Wonderful brushwork produces flowers: That is, the crisp brush on Douyin, it tastes good!

Drying clothes and tripe: Must order, the best tripe I have ever eaten.

Sheep blood: It tastes very good, better than Yongxing Fang's.

Old vinegar squirrel fish: Children will definitely like it, be careful of fish bones!

Oil splashed on the noodles: endless aftertaste! Per capita consumption: around 90, recommended 5 stars.

After eating and drinking enough, you have to take a walk to digest food. After leaving the gate of the academy, you will find the city wall. It is most suitable to go to the city wall after dinner. You can not only watch the night view, but also protect you from the sun! While it was still light, my father took my daughter to ride around the city, and I took my son for a walk and scenery.

I forgot the rental fee, but it seems that the deposit is 200. At 7:30 my husband came back with his daughter. We went down from the city wall to watch the performance of "Dream Chang 'an" at 8:00. Here, we should remind everyone to go to the South Square to wait in a grand manner, because the welcome gift is part of the performance, and the actors and audience walked into the performance venue within the city wall with everyone.

This journey is like traveling through the Tang Dynasty. I didn't take any photos of the performance. The performance is novel and worth seeing! This was the first time my son saw a performance and was completely immersed.

The performance tickets we bought on Ctrip (including city wall tickets) were 260 yuan for adult tickets. All 1.2 meters were all tickets, and there were no student tickets. Personally, I feel that the venue is not large and there is no need to buy VIP tickets.

Climbing the city wall is definitely a manual job. Walk back to the hotel and continue the museum trip tomorrow!

D5: I got up at around eight o'clock today and came to the Forest of Steles Museum. Adult ticket: 65 yuan/time, student ticket: 32 yuan/person, buy tickets on site.

When entering the Forest of Steles Museum, it is recommended to hire a guide, but we didn't, so many of them couldn't understand it, so we had to rub the guide everywhere.

There is a stone carving art museum on the right side of the museum. You must visit it. There are many Buddha statues inside. Some of them have been taken out for exhibition. The Buddha statues have not been photographed. As the saying goes,"Only the Buddha shines on people, and no one shines on the Buddha."

On the left is the Xi'an Stone Sculpture Art Museum. There are many ancient objects unearthed in it, including many coffins. Therefore, I did not bring my child in, but adults can go in and have a look.

It was already noon after visiting the Forest of Steles Museum. When you came out from the exit door, there were stalls on both sides. One of the stall owners was an elderly person and was very interesting. Buy a pen for free lettering and carving on site. You can buy a pen for 30 yuan. Pen.

Walking forward along the alley, about 800 meters away, there is a pant-belt noodle shop. The facade looks inconspicuous, but it is very popular. We followed the local tastes and ordered pant-belt noodles, ice peaks and cold dishes.

The two fronts, facing each other, are actually one house. If you order, you can go to picture one, and you can find a seat. You can picture one or two. The waiter will cross the alley and deliver it to the opposite side. It is very interesting.

The bowl for eating noodles is bigger than my head. This noodle is the most memorable food in Xi'an, and the price is also very affordable! Recommendation index: 5 stars. If you can, you must go and eat it. It is better than the snacks on Huimin Street and Yongxing Square. After eating, check in the country's largest bookstore, which is also an online celebrity bookstore, and her daughter designated the place she wanted to go to-Qujiang Bookstore.

It's very big, like a shopping mall. In addition to reading books, there are also many folk handicrafts, children's playgrounds, cafes, etc., which are relatively comprehensive. Even staying here for a day is okay.

My daughter made a cashmere toy. It seemed like 180 yuan per time, but she forgot about it.

There are a lot of handicrafts on the third floor, and my daughter learned to make dough makers, 168 yuan.

There are many fun things here. Opposite Qujiang Book City is Datang Furong Garden. Due to the decoration inside and the performance was suspended, we temporarily canceled the trip to Datang Furong Garden. Continue to check in at night on the Internet celebrity mall-SEG International Center!

The main purpose of coming to Saiger is to see the largest indoor waterfall and the longest escalator in the country. (My husband blurred the background)

We happened to meet a friend's family, so the two families had dinner together on the sixth floor. Almost every restaurant had to queue up. If you want to go to Chang 'an food stall, it is recommended to go at 10 a.m., otherwise there will be too many people, so we chose another place.

Due to the elderly, the food combines the non-spicy nature of the south. I don't know the price, but a friend bought it. When you are full, you will naturally go to the mall. The happiest ones are the two little sisters.

The basement level of the Georgia International Center leads directly to the subway. This is also our first time taking the Xi'an subway. There are quite a lot of people. If you are bringing a baby, it is safer to take a taxi. My son's first subway show was dedicated to Xi'an!

Xi'an's subway and buses are very convenient. If we don't have two children like us, and we are only ten months old, we still choose the subway at 2 yuan/person. We considered that the children are too small and there are too many people, so this trip is all special cars, and the farthest price is more than 30 yuan, which is actually not bad! Tomorrow is the last day of playing in Xi'an, I still look forward to it!

D6. After sleeping all morning, the tiredness I felt after several days was relieved. After getting up, I went to lunch first to replenish my energy in the afternoon.

The taste is good, but the price is high. The per capita consumption is 90 yuan/person, but the service and hygiene are very good. If you can see, the noodles are also made freshly. Recommendation index: 4 stars

Dacien Temple is located in the south square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tickets can be purchased on site. Adult tickets are 40 yuan per ticket and student tickets are 20 yuan per ticket.

The entire temple has a strong commercial atmosphere. Both sides of the road seem to be scenic spots. When you enter, you will find that they are selling jade, calligraphy and paintings. You need to buy tickets individually for the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. There were too many people in line, so we didn't go up, but since we had gone, we still went up and have a look. It is said that there are relics from Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty.

Coming out of Dacien Temple, walking from the east to the north, all the way to the grocery store. My daughter bought a box of ice cream and ate while walking. About 200 meters away, she reached the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. She stopped and stopped to see the fountain. The fountain here is currently the largest fountain in the country. Everyone grabbed the position early and waited for the performance of the musical fountain.

It started at 18:00 and the process was 20 minutes. We retreated two minutes earlier to avoid crowded people at the end. The fountain was very spectacular. If there were lights at night, it would be even more beautiful! There is a small market on the west side of the fountain, where we can find some small toys. We bought small baskets, xun, ribbons, hairpins, brooches, etc. The price is not more than ten yuan or twenty yuan. Ask a few more shops and you can bargain.

Xun: 20 yuan, free lettering

Taste as a child, 5 yuan/stick

After shopping, go to the west side of the fountain and take a battery car to the South Square (the intersection of Datang Sleepless City). The price is 20 yuan/person for adults and 10 yuan/person for children.

Entering the city that never sleeps in the Tang Dynasty, from day to night, there is constant flow of people, constant food, constant programs, and constant surprises. It is really the most Chinese and most Xi'an.

The City that Never Sleeps is the City that Never Sleeps. Many Internet celebrity programs are here. I like it very much. It is not only very Xi'an, but also very technological. It is worthy of being the place chosen by the emperor.

Xi'an is not only an ancient capital with a profound cultural history, but also a modern city full of fashion and technology!

D7. Huijia: Xi'an North 08:40-Hangzhou East 16:23 Adult ticket 653.5, children ticket 327 yuan

Hangzhou East 17:11-Jiaxing South 17:41 Adult ticket 26 yuan, children ticket 14 yuan

High-speed rail fee: 3420.5

Accommodation: 2430+400=2830

Attraction fee (Ctrip)+ on-site: 1015+1197=2212

Food (estimate): 1,500

Other (estimate): 1,000

Total approximately: 10,962.5

Friendly reminder: If the main transportation is subway, the cost will be even less. It is recommended to go to Xi'an mainly subway!
