Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xinjiang for short. It is the westernmost province in China, an autonomous region for ethnic minorities, and the province with the largest land area, accounting for one-sixth of the total land area. If you can't reach Xinjiang, you don't know how big China is. The population is about 23 million, of which ethnic minorities account for about 60%. Xinjiang has been a sacred and indivisible part of China's territory since ancient times. Here we have to talk about its origin: since the Opium War, the Qing Dynasty has become increasingly weak, and China's territorial sovereignty has been trampled on by imperialism. It was not until Zuo Zongtang, the governor of Shaanxi and Gansu in the Qing Dynasty, became an imperial envoy and began to supervise Xinjiang affairs. Xinjiang was recovered after countless hardships and dangers. Therefore, in his memorial to the emperor, he called Xinjiang "a place where other ethnic groups have forced them to return to their homeland." As a result, the regional name of Xinjiang has a new meaning of "new homeland return", which is still in use today. Here, we also want to especially thank and respect the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps soldiers and their families who have guarded the border and defended the country for decades, with a total population of approximately 2.57 million.

Such a vast and mysterious place is worth our in-depth visit.

D1. First of all, I booked a ticket from Xi'an to Kashgar 10 days in advance through Ctrip, and chose the most suitable time and the lowest discount price of 985 yuan/person. This is a joint transfer flight, with a 4-hour transfer from Xi'an to Turpan, and a simple meal per person is 37 yuan. After that, I flew to Kashgar Airport and took a taxi for 18 yuan to the folk hotel in the ancient city of Kashgar. This was also a standard room for 99 yuan/day booked through Ctrip. After a short rest, I came to the dining street just outside the old city scenic area and tasted the authentic Xinjiang specialty food dinner. All kinds of ice cream, barbecue meat, baked buns, etc. were 38 yuan per person. It has been a day of flying and exhausting driving. It is already past 10:30 pm late at night in the mainland, and Kashgar is still as bright as day. We hurried to rest in order to catch the welcome ceremony at the east gate of the ancient city tomorrow.

Kashgar City is a city at the southwestern end of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and a hub of the ancient "Silk Road". The total area is 97 square kilometers. The Uyghurs have the largest population, accounting for 74.8% of the total population. They have a long history. As early as the Western Han Dynasty, when Zhang Qian opened the Western Regions, it was already Shule City, the capital of Shule State, one of the 36 countries in the Western Regions. Kashgar is the abbreviation of "Kashgar", and Kashgar Gorwe means the place where jade gathers. Kashgar is dominated by agriculture, and is rich in grain and fruit. Coupled with handicrafts, it is a folk art center with beautiful pottery, weaving, and printing and dyeing. Kashgar City has extremely convenient transportation, convenient air transportation, and highways extending in all directions, leading to home and abroad. It is the transportation center of southern Xinjiang. Looking forward to seeing her mysterious beauty.

D2. According to the landlord, the free welcome ceremony in the morning starts at 10:30 for about half an hour. At 9 o'clock in the morning, which was like 7 o'clock in the morning in the mainland. There were very few people on the street, so we came to the breakfast stall and ate breakfast for 9 yuan per person. After that, we meandered along the old street and walked towards the east gate. It took us about twenty minutes to get there. When we approached, we bought a set of Uyghur national costumes and hats at a hat shop for 90 yuan. Wearing it looked even more grand. sense of ceremony.

Kashgar Ancient City Scenic Area is a national AAAAA open tourist attraction and a living area for Uyghur residents. It is located in the center of Kashgar City, where Uyghur residents 'family life, ethnic customs, traditional handicrafts, and delicious food are concentrated. Covering an area of 3.6 square kilometers, it has a long history, rich culture, and unique customs. After more than 2000 years of wind, frost, snow and rain, it has the reputation of "not reaching Kashgar, not counting Xinjiang, not counting the ancient city, not counting Kashgar." It has become specimens and slices from different historical periods. It is known as a living fossil for studying cities in the ancient Western Regions. It is also the most valuable, influential and representative historical and cultural city for studying the ancient Silk Road culture.

When I arrived at the east gate at about 10 o'clock, it was already crowded with people, and local people and tourists had begun to entertain themselves and display Xinjiang songs and dances in the performance venue. It was so lively and enthusiastic. At 10:30, with the melodious and cheerful Xinjiang music, the host's loud voice sounded, announcing the official start of the welcome ceremony. The handsome men and women from Kashgar, dressed in various gorgeous national costumes, slowly walked into the venue with swaying music and singing and dancing. There are also celebrities who play historical celebrities, contemporary celebrities, and tour guides who use their own methods to explain Kashgar's ancient, modern and future, express their warm welcome to friends from all over the country and foreign countries, and explain Kashgar's local customs and customs. and folk customs characteristics. Behind it is the gate of the ancient city, which is simple and elegant and has a sense of region, history and nationality. It's refreshing to enjoy the eyes, and I'm particularly excited, grateful and happy.

The ceremony ended half an hour later, and the gate of the ancient city returned to its usual calm. Tourists checked in to take photos and watched in an endless stream. After we also took photos, we followed tourists to visit Gaotai houses diagonally across the road for free. Gaotai Residential House is a Uyghur inhabited area at the northeastern end of the old city built on a loess cliff more than 40 meters high and more than 800 meters long. Gaoya existed two thousand years ago, and Uyghur ancestors built houses and settled here more than a thousand years ago. The house is made of mud and poplar trees. After the wood is removed, it is not planed and is directly used to structure and support the roof, attic and balcony. The entire neighborhood looked shaky and baggy. But it is said that the houses here are all strong, and many of them are hundreds or even thousands of years old. Houses were built along the cliff. When the family's population increased by one generation, a new floor was added to the houses of our ancestors. In this way, from generation to generation, houses were connected to houses, buildings were stacked on top of each other. Most of these houses were earthen houses, and households were connected to form a piece, relying on each other to resist the invasion of various disasters. Between these randomly built upstairs and outer buildings, more than 50 alleys are formed that extend in all directions, crisscross, and go up and down. There are more than 640 households and more than 4000 people, covering an area of 57,000 square meters. Historically, the high cliff was connected with the north slope and south slope, but was later washed away by floods and separated from the north and south. Beiya is the ancient city of Kashgar, the seat of the royal palace of the Karahan Dynasty. Nanya is a Gaotai dwelling house. Gaotai dwelling house is praised by Chinese and foreign tourists as the "Uyghur Living Folk Museum".

After that, he slowly returned to his place in the city to rest and prepare for lunch.

Lunch is still 29 yuan per person for Xinjiang's specialty grilled meat, ice cream and other delicacies, which is very delicious and full.

In the afternoon, just walk around the street at will. Across the road is the mosque block. There are many Internet celebrity check-in spots, special scenery everywhere, and photos and check-in. There is also a folk performance of princesses seeking spouses, which is very lively and has ethnic characteristics. It is performed for free at 4:30 pm every day and is worth seeing.

D3. After breakfast at 8 yuan per person, take a bus for 2 yuan to the famous "Xiangfei Garden" scenic spot 5 kilometers from the eastern suburbs of the city. Visit here is free and covers an area of more than 300 acres. The architectural style combines national characteristics and modern elements. It tells the legendary story of Xiangfei from birth to death, from Kashgar to Beijing, from Princess Xiangxiang to the love of thousands of people from three aspects: hometown, former residence and old friends.

"Happy Fragrance Garden, Love Check-in Place", here allows you to have an in-depth understanding of Fragrance's love story. A woman worthy of respect, who is knowledgeable and courteous, is good at piano, chess, calligraphy, riding, shooting, and singing and dancing. She is kind, gentle and tolerant, and has a strange fragrance..."Xiangfei". She is the Rong concubine of Emperor Qianlong. Her name is Hezhuo Fatima. She is a Uyghur and Kashgar. She has a strange fragrance, is 167 tall, and has type O blood. Concubine Rong has a different appearance from the Han people. She has white and ruddy skin, a high nose bridge, deep eyes, and a melon-seed face and red lips. She is a peerless beauty with beautiful flowers and beautiful moon. Among Qianlong's empresses, there were many who were outstanding in beauty, but Rong Concubine not only had beautiful faces, but also had an exotic flavor. She was not interested in power and did not interfere in Qianlong's political issues. She had no children and had no influence on the then and future imperial power. The reason why Consort Rong was able to be favored by Qianlong was not only due to her political marriage, but also due to her own character advantages and her ability to dress up, and even getting along well with Qianlong's mother without political ambitions. These were the key reasons why Qianlong loved Consort Rong. It was definitely no accident that Consort Rong could stand out among the 3,000 beautiful women in the harem and become Emperor Qianlong's favorite concubine. Every time Emperor Qianlong went on patrol, he would bring Consort Rong with him and was reluctant to leave for a moment. Consort Rong died of illness in Yuanmingyuan at the age of 54. After her death, Qianlong, who was nearly eighty years old, burst into tears and was very sad. It was ordered that the positions of empresses and imperial concubines no longer be established, so at this time, the position of imperial concubines in Qianlong's harem was the highest level.

After visiting here for two hours, I not only experienced the unique regional customs from a distance, but also experienced the kind, simple, intelligent and versatile folk customs of the Uyghur people through understanding Xiangfei. After that, we will take a bus for 2 yuan and return to the place of residence to rest.

In the afternoon, we rode to the city's People's Park for a tour. The trees are tall and green, the lawns are like felt and the streams are gurgling, and the singing and dancing are beautiful. It is a good place for citizens to relax and entertain. People's Park was built in 1953 and is close to the Municipal Party Committee and Family Courtyard. It is the first park in Kashgar. The park covers an area of 24 hectares. There are more than 50 species of trees, more than 260,000 trees, more than 40 species of flowers and more than 800 varieties, and the coverage rate of flowers and trees in the park reaches 96%. The total length of the winding paths in the park is more than 4000 meters. The statue of Chairman Mao in front of the Municipal Party Committee opposite the park is still in full bloom and magnificent."Serving the People" is very eye-catching and pleasant.

After more than an hour of sightseeing, the garden is very big and I haven't visited it. I hope to have the opportunity to come again.

D4. After breakfast, I took the bus for 2 yuan to the Kashgar Museum. The new site of the Kashgar Museum is located on Tianshan West Road in Kashgar City. The location is currently slightly secluded. It covers an area of 50 acres and has a construction area of 15100 square meters. The main building is divided into four floors, with an exhibition area of 6500 square meters. It has more than 5300 pieces (sets) and 63 sets of precious cultural relics. It is a comprehensive historical museum with four basic exhibitions, namely: the Kunlun Basin and Ancient Road Heritage-Kashgar Historical Relics Exhibition, the Special Exhibition of Chinese Xinjiang History, Ethnic, Religious and Cultural Events, the Economic and Social Development Exhibition of Kashgar Prefecture, and the Planning Exhibition of Kashgar Prefecture. Here, you can not only appreciate Kashgar's long history and culture, but also feel Kashgar's rapid development changes and thriving development momentum. After browsing for about two hours, I returned to my place of residence to rest.

After lunch, ride to East Lake Park. Next to East Lake Park is Gaotai Old City. In the park, the lake is blue, swans are flying, fish are free, towers and pavilions, lush green trees, sculptures are sacred, and boat tours on the lake are also very wonderful. Experience, bar dining is also very convenient. It is the best place for tourists and citizens to enjoy natural resources and leisure. You can overlook the entire city by taking the Ferris Wheel. After more than two hours of leisure, I rode back to my residence to rest.

After dinner, night slowly fell, and we walked through the ancient city to the bar street, where we experienced the joy of young people. Here, there are bright lights in front of every house, singing and dancing. Passers-by tourists who sing and dance can't help but join the happy ranks. They can also drink, taste tea and eat meat indoors or under roadside umbrellas. It's really comfortable. Walking to the end of the street, you will find the northeast corner of the old city. There is a 100-step high platform. On the high platform stands a tower called "Geng Gong Temple". Who is Geng Gong? However, few people know it, and they are not even well known to people in history. Although he had only fought against the Xiongnu once, his movements were even more fierce, like a thunderous explosion, making the Xiongnu think that a god had arrived. This thunderous explosion also became the last sound in history. This person was Geng Gong.

Geng Gong, also known as Bozong, is now a native of Xingping, Shaanxi Province. In the 17th year of Yongping of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Geng Gong took the post of Sima and Ban Chao replaced the post of Sima. He followed Dou Gu, the commander of Fengche, and led 14,000 cavalry to attack the Western Regions from Dunhuang. In Baishan, he defeated the Northern Xiongnu King Huyan Corps, and then surrendered the chariot divisions. Geng Gong firmly controlled the throat of the Xiongnu entering and exiting the Western Regions. This place became the center of the Han Dynasty army in the Western Regions. It was with Geng Gong guarding here that Ban Chao was able to respond to the situation in Khotan, Loulan, Shache and other places. Lobbying freely to shake these kingdoms to break diplomatic relations with the Xiongnu and join the Han Dynasty. Ban Chao moved, Geng Gong remained calm, and the two echoed each other from afar. Therefore, Geng Gong's reputation was not as famous as Ban Chao, but Geng Gong's contribution could not be ignored. When Geng Gong led his troops back east with the army, the Xiongnu wandering soldiers continued to chase and harass along the way. The Han army fought and marched. There were many dead people among Geng Gong's soldiers along the way. When they arrived at Yumen Pass, only thirteen people were left, all of whom had their clothes and shoes worn out and looked withered." Geng Gong stayed firm in Shule City and lived in a place where hundreds of deaths were dead, maintaining the dignity of the Han Dynasty. Because of Geng Gong, we had the lofty ambition of "swearing to order Shule to emerge from the flying spring" in Wang Wei's poem, and Yue Fei's ambition of "hungry for Hu Krupp meat and laughing about drinking Xiongnu blood." It inherits the loyalty and martial spirit that have flowed in the blood of our nation for thousands of years. More than 1,800 years later, Liu Jintang, who followed Zuo Zongtang's Western Expedition to recover Kashgar, was deeply admired by Geng Gong's spirit and integrity because he admired Shule City, which he had worked hard to guard for more than 300 days. Also because Kashgar Seoul was also called Shule, he ordered the construction of Geng Gong Temple, also known as Geng Gong Tower, at the highest point back to the city in Kashgar to express his admiration for Geng Gong. There are channels on both sides of the towering Geng Gong Terrace. In the middle of the steps stands a bronze statue of Geng Gong. He stands tall on a galloping horse. The front hooves of the horse rise high and its mane fly in the wind. The entire statue is lifelike, showing the heroic and martial spirit of the Han army. Ten steps up is the awe-inspiring Geng Gong Temple.

Standing on the steps outside Geng Gong Temple and overlooking the ancient city of Kashgar, it is now brightly lit and infinitely beautiful. The following is the Kashgar branch venue where CCTV Spring Festival Gala is broadcast live. The light show starting at 10 o'clock every night makes the ancient city even brighter, showing the three-dimensional and colorful beauty of Kashgar. Coupled with the cooperation of music and dance, it is truly beautiful and wonderful.

After watching music, dance and light show, when I returned to my residence, I walked through the night street scenery of the ancient city and felt infinite happiness and beauty.

D5. After breakfast, I toured the ancient city again and enjoyed taking photos. In the afternoon, I took a taxi for 20 yuan to Kashgar Airport, flew to Ili, and transferred to Aksu for one night. The hotel booked 100 yuan in Wensu County next to the airport through Ctrip. Dinner at the restaurant next to it was 53 yuan per person. The overall hotel and dinner were very good.

D6. In the morning, the hotel sent a driver to drive us to the airport. After arriving at Yining Airport through the ticket booked by Ctrip, we took a taxi for 16 yuan to the hotel booked by Ctrip for 100 yuan. Ili is a place we have been longing for since we were young. Many of the screensaver pictures on computers and mobile phones are from Ili's grassland scenery. Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, referred to as Ili Prefecture and Ili, is located in the Ili River Valley in the northern Tianshan Mountains in the western part of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is adjacent to the Eurasian country of Kazakhstan to the west. Horgos Port, China's largest land trade port, is located in the western part of the state. Ili is known as the "Jiangnan Outside the Great Wall." It has a total area of 350,000 square kilometers and a total population of more than 4.4 million. There are 47 ethnic groups living here together. It is one of the top 200 charming cities with Chinese characteristics; Yining City is the capital of Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture. We decided to start our journey to Ili in search of beauty from here.

In the afternoon, I went to the nearby Liuxing Street and Kazanqi to get a preliminary experience of the folk customs.

Liuxing Street: It is an ancient neighborhood in Yining City, Ili Prefecture, Xinjiang, a city outside the Great Wall of China. It has a history of nearly a hundred years and was planned and designed by German engineer Vasri. The block is circular in plane, with six main roads radiating outward from the center, dividing the block into six fan areas. The center is public buildings such as schools, shops, and mosques, and the periphery is residential areas, forming a unique living model. In this rare "pastoral city", many ethnic groups live. Liuxing Street witnesses the unique cultural symbiosis phenomenon of the combination of foreign culture and local culture. The neighborhood is the memory of the city, memorizing the city's historical context and inheritance vertically, and displaying the city's broad and profound experience horizontally. Various ethnic courtyards and residential buildings are arranged in an orderly manner along the radioactive streets in a circular diffusion pattern. There are European-style spire small lofts, semi-arched window lattices in strong Islamic style, Russian iron-peed wooden houses porches, Uyghur style wood carvings, stone floating boards and various wrought iron porches. Liuxing Street has become a famous tourist and leisure district, a large-scale cultural tourist attraction with a beautiful, stable, harmonious and vibrant environment, including characteristic street sightseeing, cultural display, courtyard tourism, characteristic catering and entertainment, handicraft processing and retail.

A song "Fragrance of Apple" created and sung by local music Mr. Lang Ge attracted many tourists. It is said that this song "The Fragrance of Apple" is about the regrets of a couple at that time. Two people who were in love were separated because of the strong opposition of the woman's parents. The girl went abroad, and the boy became a taxi driver. Ten years later, one accidental day, the girl got into the boy's car. After ten years of absence, the girl looked the same as before, but the boy's face was full of vicissitudes. The boy recognized the girl but didn't dare to say hello, but he didn't know whether the girl sitting in the back row recognized him. Through the rearview mirror, the boy saw the girl dialing a phone number, which seemed to be the girl's good friend. Along the way, the girl kept telling about all kinds of things abroad on the phone, while the boy just listened silently. Finally arriving at the destination, the girl also hung up the phone and said,"I have told you all my experiences in the past ten years. Don't you even say hello?"

It turned out that the girl had recognized the boy as soon as she got on the bus. There was no one on the other side of the phone. Everything was what the girl said to the boy. The boy was already choked up at this time and said the word "hello" with a trembling voice. The girl looked at the boy affectionately and then asked: "Can we still go back?" The boy said: "Go back? Of course I can go back, I can go back, but I have to pay more..."

What I understand is the sentence "I can go back, but I have to pay more": In order to break the embarrassing joke, the boy finally had a lover and finally got married.

Walking on the roads of Liuxing Street, I deeply felt the culture, romance, atmosphere and various life styles of the local people. I really liked this city neighborhood called the "Little Bagua City" and couldn't leave it.

Coming out of Liuxing Street, we drove 2 yuan to Kazanqi Folk Culture District. We happened to encounter a local resident marrying their son's daughter-in-law, allowing tourists to experience firsthand the Kazakh wedding customs and their warm and lively welcoming ceremony.

"Kazanqi" in Uyghur means "a person who makes a pot for a career." Kazan is the image window of Yining. It is located in the southern district of Yining City and covers an area of about 22 square kilometers. It has a living population of about 100,000 people, and nearly 80% are Uyghur. With a history of more than 200 years, some Uyghurs here still inherit the handicrafts of their ancestors as a means of life. Simple, kind, and original ecology are still part of the Kazan people's lifestyle, and it is also a rare quiet land preserved by humans in the city in the post-industrial era. At present, it has developed into an original ecological large-scale cultural scenic spot with the theme of experiencing ethnic customs and traditional national culture.

Walking into the gate of Kazanqi Street on your right hand is the Grand Mosque, named Shaanxi Grand Mosque, which has a history of nearly 300 years. Its structural layout imitates Xi'an Huajue Lane Mosque, and has a traditional Chinese architectural style that combines a palace-style brick-and-wood structure with Arabic Art Deco. It can accommodate more than 1000 people to worship and is a famous mosque in the northwest border. There are all kinds of transportation to ride in the neighborhood, including horse-drawn carriages, electric vehicles, and rickshaws. I felt a little tired after my first tour, so I took a bus back to my hotel to rest.

D7. We contacted a travel company and informed us that the meeting place was near the train station in the suburbs, so we booked a hotel near the train station to facilitate travel together in the next few days. Later, we signed up for four one-day tours for 1033 yuan per capita, including famous classic scenic spots such as Nalati Grassland, Selimu Lake, Kalajun, Bagua City, and Qiaxi Grassland.

After breakfast, I checked out of the hotel in the city, checked my luggage, and took a bus for 2 yuan to the Yili River Scenic Area.

The Ili River is a famous river that irrigates farmland. In ancient times, our ancestors lived in this river basin. It originated in the western section of Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang. The basin area in our country is about 570,000 square kilometers. Its water volume ranks first among all rivers in Xinjiang. The runoff accounts for about 1/5 of the river runoff in Xinjiang. The Ili River flows westward and enters Kazakhstan after accepting rivers such as Horgos. It has a total length of about 400 kilometers in our country, and about 3/4 of the water flows out of the border. The river bed near Yining is more than 1 kilometer wide, with extensive river beaches, bifurcated water flows, many sandbars and islands, beautiful scenery, and more than a thousand acres of riverside parks along the river. People can cook fresh fish and roast mutton here, drink it to their heart's content, and then sing and play on the grass to enjoy the wild scenery outside the Great Wall. It has become a beautiful resort for people to travel, vacation and leisure. We had lunch at a restaurant by the river for 65 yuan per person, and it was very comfortable to enjoy the delicious food and view the scenery.

Then I took a bus back to the original hotel in the city, picked up my luggage, took a taxi for 13 yuan to the hotel I booked near the train station, and stayed for 7 days.

D8. After breakfast, the tour guide and tour bus were already waiting downstairs of the hotel. They picked up their simple luggage and set out for a one-day trip to the Ili Nalati Grassland. The sweet and meticulous explanations of the tour guide along the way added charm to the originally mysterious and beautiful Narati.

Narati Tourist Scenic Area is located in Xinyuan County, Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is located in the hinterland of Tianshan Mountains and the eastern end of the Ili River Valley, with a total planned area of 1848 square kilometers. It is a leading tourist attraction in Ili Prefecture and one of the famous scenic spots in Xinjiang. Legend has it that during Genghis Khan's Western Expedition, a Mongolian army marched from the depths of the Tianshan Mountains to Ili. It was spring, but the mountains were filled with wind and snow, and dark clouds covered the sky. The soldiers were hungry and cold. Unexpectedly, when they crossed the mountains, they appeared in surprise, as if they had entered another world. In front of them, there was a vast grassland full of flowers. The springs were covered with gurgling water, and the sun shone high on the blue sky and white clouds. The soldiers couldn't help but shout "Nalati, Nalati", meaning "There is sun, there is sun". So the place name was left.

After eating a tourist group meal of 8 dishes and one soup in Narati Town, the car dealers gradually entered the grassland of the Narati River Valley. The amazing beauty made tourists unable to help but shout out how beautiful it was! Step by step is the scene, and progress is more beautiful. The Narati Grassland ranks among the four major river valley grasslands in the world, and its terrain slopes from southeast to northwest. The wilderness is densely covered with mountain springs, streams like a network, intertwined rivers, and lush forests. It is known as the "aerial grassland." The lush and gorgeous flowers and plants are the most beautiful summer pastures for livestock. People on the grassland will also hold various gatherings here. You can also experience the rich Kazakh folk customs here. River valleys, peaks, deep gorges, and forests complement each other, and the green trees are beautiful and extremely beautiful. The endless grassland is dotted with pearl-like snow-white yurts. On the south side of the grassland are accompanied by snow-covered snow-capped peaks all year round. The green grass and snow-capped peaks complement each other, forming a touching picture scroll. It is a typical alpine grassland. Here, you can personally experience the beautiful scenery of the mountains and grasslands where "cattle and sheep are seen low on the grass." The Narati Grassland is also known as the "Deer Garden" and is said to be the ceiling of tourist attractions in Xinjiang.

Our tourist bus replaced the scenic spot shuttle bus, stopping and stopping on the bus to enjoy the wonderful scenery in different locations. Finally, we arrived at a station that can only be passed by battery sightseeing buses in the scenic spot. The average person drove 60 yuan to reach the mountain top scenery platform. Meadow, with infinite scenery and charm, it's a worthwhile trip. Eating barbecue, riding horses, dancing music, and watching the beautiful scenery, I had a very pleasant time for more than an hour. The 20 yuan per capita is very worth it!

After that, the original car from the original road returned to his place of residence and ended a happy day of scenic tours, full of aftertaste.

D9. Because we were tired from the Nalati tour the day before, we chose to take a day off, walked around the city, and drove to Kazanqi again, and toured the neighborhood for a long time. For lunch, we found a courtyard restaurant and tasted the local specialties of ice cream, barbecue, mixed noodles, pilaf, etc. It was very delicious. The price was 19 yuan per person, which was very reasonable. Then I took the bus back to my hotel to rest.

D10. After breakfast, the tour guide and the driver drove a tourist bus to pick us up at the hotel. I'm ready for a day trip to Selimu Lake, Horgos Port, and Lavender Manor. This miss tour guide surnamed Ma is the most professional and dedicated tour guide I have encountered in many years of travel. Along the way, they tirelessly explained the scenery, origins and stories along the way professionally, allowing us unfamiliar tourists to experience the immersiveness and deepen the impression.

The Che Lan Guozigou Bridge is very spectacular and extremely difficult to build. It is located on the Guozigou Canyon in Xinjiang. It is a major part of the national highway from Lianyungang to Horgos and an important livelihood project in Xinjiang. Construction started in 2006. Due to the great environmental impact of the construction, the main bridge was closed in 2010 and opened to traffic in 2011. The total length of the line is 4.4 kilometers and the length of the bridge is 700 meters; the deck is a two-way four-lane highway with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour. It is also a bridge landscape with great ornamental value.

After crossing the Guozigou Bridge and exiting the tunnel entrance, I looked with my left hand and suddenly my eyes lit up. It was another amazing and beautiful scenic spot, Selimu Lake: Sailimu Lake Scenic Area is a national key scenic area. It is a national key scenic area with lakes, wetlands, grasslands, forests, and snow-capped mountains as its main features, sightseeing, ecological leisure, historical and cultural exploration of the North Road of the Ancient Silk Road, and ethnic minority customs experience as the main activity content. It is the alpine cold water lake with the highest altitude and largest area in Xinjiang and has been declared a World Natural Heritage Site. Sailimu Lake, known as the "Pearl of the Mountain", has a water area of 458 square kilometers and an altitude of 2073 meters. The beautiful scenery of "clear water and blue sky are in the same color, white clouds dance with swans, and grasslands and snowy mountains complement each other" attracts tourists from all over the world. It is a famous scenic tourist area in Xinjiang and a tourist ceiling scenic spot.

There is a propaganda saying that "70 million years of waiting is just for my arrival." Let's take a look at "The last tear in the Atlantic Ocean, the suffocating Selimu Lake." There is a kind of blue in the world called Selimu Lake blue. After seeing the real Saihu, I felt that these praises were not overemphasized. Especially for people traveling in the lake on electric yachts, there are amazing exclamations one after another. The average price of 120 yuan per person is actually worth it. After sightseeing for about three hours, I also spent 48 yuan to taste the unique "high white salmon" fish in the lake, which is tender and delicious.

The tour group meal arranged at noon was 8 dishes and 1 soup, which was still very good. After that, he took the bus and continued to rush to Horgos Port, which is also 0 kilometers away from the western starting point of the Lianhuo Expressway.

Horgos Port is the largest comprehensive land and railway port in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a "six-in-one" transportation hub integrating roads, railways, pipelines, aviation, optical cables, and mail, and the first comprehensive and multifunctional port in Xinjiang. It is located in Horgos City, Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China, close to the Republic of Kazakhstan. As far back as the Sui and Tang Dynasties, this place was an important station on the North Road of the Ancient Silk Road. It is the national first-class land highway port with the longest customs clearance history, the largest comprehensive transportation volume, the best natural environment, and the most complete functions in western my country; various reasons in history It is also interrupted from time to time. At present, the inspection and inspection institutions of the Port Management Committee are complete; various building areas can meet the needs of various agencies, units, offices, and enterprises. Horgos means "a place with mountains of camel dung" in the Mongolian language. You can imagine how prosperous the market trade here was in ancient times when relying on long-distance transportation by camel convoys. How many camel convoys passed by, how many people stayed, and how many goods were traded?

Now this is the starting point of the Lianhuo Expressway 0 kilometers in the west. The number G30 is the expressway from Lianyungang, Jiangsu to Horgos, Xinjiang. It passes through six provinces of Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu and Xinjiang. It is an important transportation artery and is the longest highway in China. The connection of this highway is enough to illustrate how important the Horgos Port is.

We took photos here, visited ports and memorial halls, and felt that this is not only a place for economic exchanges, but also a guardian of national security and dignity, demonstrating China's international status and influence. We express our gratitude to the compatriots guarding here, pay tribute to the country and be proud of the country. The tour takes about two hours and takes a bus to the largest lavender estate in Xinjiang.

Developed and established by the Corps, the "Princess Jieyou Lavender Manor" is a national AAA scenic spot and one of the top ten favorite scenic spots for tourists in Xinjiang. It is located in Qingshuihe Town, Ili. This place is very similar to Provence, France, the origin of lavender in the world and the largest planting base. It is very similar in geographical location, climatic conditions and soil environment. It is the third largest lavender planting base in the world and is known as the "Hometown of Lavender in China". The park covers an area of more than 220 acres and consists of three parts: Lavender Museum, Lavender Vanilla Garden and Aroma Workshop. The museum is currently the only lavender-themed museum in China. It is divided into four parts: a theme museum, an essential oil museum, a specimen museum, and a cultural center. At the same time, it is also a place for people to conduct professional research, academic exchanges, and cultural creation on lavender.

Since we came a little earlier, the lavender flowering period has not yet arrived and has not fully blossomed, but it is still purple and beautiful from a distance. If it comes in a few days, the blooming purple lavender will make people linger and can't bear to leave. After sightseeing for more than an hour, I took a bus back to my place of residence in the city, full of memories and happiness lingering in my mind.

D11. After breakfast, the tour guide and the driver drove a tour bus and came to the hotel. I am ready to go to Tex, known as the "World Kalajun, China's Eight Trigrams City", to visit the grasslands and strange castles.

First of all, I drove to the farmhouse outside the scenic area and ate a tourist group meal, and continued to drive into the scenic area. "Karajun" is Kazakh."Karajun" means dark, rich and vast."Jun" describes a dense appearance. Literally,"Karajun Grassland" can be translated as a lush grassland. So here is a typical alpine five-flower meadow natural grassland that is gradually climbing. The altitude is between 2,000 and 3,600 meters. It is 89 kilometers long from east to west and 32 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 2848 square kilometers. There is abundant precipitation, cool climate, thick soil, and hundreds of high-quality forage grass grow. There are steep snow-capped mountains, grassland scenery, and forest canyons here. The scenery is diverse and the layers are lush and beautiful. We took the bus to stop at the scenic spots in turn to visit. Due to the cold mountains, we wore a little less clothes, so we didn't go to many scenic spots. I just took some photos against the background of rolling hills, grasslands, snowy mountains, and sky. They were very beautiful, profound and profound. It's just that the flowering season has not yet arrived, and what should be an open meadow full of colorful wild flowers is scattered on the prairie, but it is still very beautiful.

Due to the cold and short time, I didn't continue climbing the mountain. I decided to return to the county town in advance to visit Bagua City, and was like tourists who came by car to continue climbing the mountain. So I took a taxi for 60 yuan and went directly to the foot of Bagua City. I asked the driver to drive the landmark building in the city around the city. It was also the museum and felt the magic of all roads in Bagua City leading to the center. At this time, because it suddenly rained heavily in the mountainous area, we got off the bus and ate at a small restaurant to shelter from the rain. At the same time, we felt the enthusiasm and simplicity of the local people. After the rain stopped, we climbed 80 yuan per person to the best position to overlook Bagua City at high altitude, which was the Ferris wheel outside the city.

Bagua City is also the current Tekes County in Ili, Xinjiang. It was founded more than 2200 years ago. It is an ancient city with rich historical and cultural heritage. The street layout is like a Eight Trigrams diagram. The streets are radial and circular. The layout is like a magical maze, with roads connected and streets connected. It has strong folk customs, rich historical culture and beautiful natural scenery. To date, it is a city where 22 ethnic groups live, reproduce and develop together. It is the first city in my country's history where Princess Xijun lived. Legend has it that it was designed by Qiu Chuji, a "real person in Changchun". It is the only city in China without traffic lights. However, it is well-ordered and is a tourist attraction integrating culture, history and architecture. The city awarded the title of "the largest gossip city in the world" by Guinness Headquarters in Shanghai.

Due to the changes of Bagua City over the past two thousand years, the boundaries of buildings and roads are not very obvious. From the height of the Ferris wheel, you cannot see its clear characteristics and details vertically. You can only see the rough outline. If aerial photography or night is set off by lights, it must be very eye-catching and beautiful. After circling the Ferris wheel, I still got a glimpse of the style of Bagua City. Its appearance is indeed different.

After climbing high to see Bagua City, the tourist bus also came to pick us up, and we sang and laughed all the way back to our place in the city.

D12. After breakfast, the tour guide and the driver drove a minibus to pick us up. Without words, I headed straight to the farmhouse near the Qiaxi Grassland, where I had a plate of fragrant Xinjiang pilaf to fill my stomach for climbing. The tour guide bought tickets and took us into the scenic area. We took the scenic area transportation bus to the square. Everyone can walk into virgin forests, grasslands, rivers at will, and you can also ride horses and have fun. This is also a camp for self-driving tours. RVs and tents can be seen everywhere. It is also a scenery, where we experience the wonderful gifts of nature. The air and scenery are so pleasing to the eye.

After three hours of sightseeing, I took a bus back to the city, ending the day's journey and the wonderful trip to Ili.

D13. After breakfast, I took a taxi to the airport, flew to Burqin through a ticket booked by Ctrip, and stayed here for another night in Turpan. The hotel also booked 100 yuan through Ctrip. It is near the airport and high-speed rail station. The conditions are also good and the value for money is quite high.

D14. After breakfast, the hotel driver drove us a few minutes to the airport, and then transferred to Keketuohai Airport to Burqin Kanas Airport. It is as far away from the Urban area of Burqin as Kanas Forest Park. The transportation is mainly to Kanas. This time, we don't plan to go to Kanas, so we had to take a taxi for 100 yuan per person to the Urban area and stay at a hotel booked through Ctrip to rest.

Burqin is very far away from us without knowing when or what it is in our hearts. This time we made a special trip to experience her charm. Burqin County belongs to Altay and is a city in the northwest of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It borders Kazakhstan, Russia, and Mongolia in the north and northeast. It is the only county in western China that borders Russia. The national border is 218 kilometers long and there are many rivers in the territory. It is the birthplace of the largest tributary of the Irtysh River, China's only Arctic Ocean water system. Burqin County has a total population of more than 70,000, and 21 ethnic groups live here together. Burqin has winding mountains, vast grasslands, and rich water and grass. Since ancient times, it has been a place where nomadic peoples in western China live and reproduce. Due to convenient transportation with Russia and other countries, and deeply influenced by foreign cultures, the buildings and living customs in the city mostly have an exotic flavor, making it known as a fairy tale border town.

D15. After breakfast, we walked to the Kanas Tower Bridge on the Colorful River.

Looking up at the 27-meter-high bridge, it is like a Gothic fairy tale academy that spans the colorful river vertically and horizontally; its shape is rare in China. Due to the power of the Internet, tourists from all directions have been attracted to stop here and look from afar. More interesting. Who would have thought that thirty years ago, this area would be a desert Gobi covered with yellow sand? Through the unremitting efforts of the people of Burqin, ecological protection, city river connection, clean water and beautiful city, the former desert has become a 50-hectare Qicai River leisure and tourism resort. The Kanas Tower Bridge, which was built in recent years, has become a wonderful feature on the tourist resort's landscape belt. It has spread all over the world, and there is an endless stream of tourists coming here to check in. Walking along the river, the park has a one-step view. The air is fresh and pleasant. It is a good place for leisure and entertainment.

Lunch was served at a nearby restaurant for 40 yuan per person. It was a very good meal.

D16. After breakfast, stroll through the streets and alleys of the city and experience the different exotic styles of the small border town. Unconsciously, I came to the Old Wharf Street of China and Russia. Russian-style buildings, Russian food, casual cabins, and Russian sculptures seem to tell people their interesting stories, built along the river to make it more interesting. It is very pleasant to stroll and watch.

Eating local pasta for lunch costs 20 yuan per person, which is also very good.

The entrance of the old dock is a memorial hall for China-Russia navigation. It is free to visit after registration. The moment we step into the door, for people of our age, the buildings, objects, photos, etc. are all very familiar. There is also the recurring former Soviet song "Cranberries Blooming", which makes people slowly return to that passionate construction era.

As night falls, I come to Kanas Bridge and the China-Russia Old Wharf Style Street again to enjoy and take photos of the night scene. It is very beautiful under the flashing lights.

D17. After breakfast, we bid farewell to Burqin and took a shuttle bus to Altay for 50 yuan per person, preparing to fly back to Xi'an at Syracuse Airport in the evening. We arrived in Altay in the morning and arrived at this city with a familiar name and a strange region.

In ancient times, Altay was a pastoral area for Chinese ethnic minorities, with a total area of more than 10,000 square kilometers and a population of more than 600,000, with ethnic minorities accounting for more than 60%. It is located on the northern edge of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and borders Mongolia. "Altay" means "Jinshan" in the Mongolian meaning. It is named because of the gold contained in the mountains. There is a saying that "the Altay Mountains have seventy-two ditches, and the ditches contain gold." The Ertysh River in Altay City is the only river in China that flows westward into the Arctic Ocean.

I had lunch near the passenger terminal for 60 yuan per person, stored my luggage here, and took a taxi to Hualin Park for 13 yuan. This is a leisure resort for Altay people. It is located in the northwest corner of the city and in a floodplain area in the upper reaches of the Kran River. The terrain is relatively flat and open. The Kran River divides it into six small islands, forming a beautiful landscape with forests and water. The altitude is about 910 meters and the total area is 1.5 square kilometers. The park mainly has natural birch trees as its main landscape, followed by poplar trees. There are more than 10 kinds of shrubs such as wild rose, spiraea, and wild rose in the forest, with a total area of 52.5 hectares. Birch Forest Park is different from ordinary man-made parks. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and natural forests, river water, flowers and plants are integrated into one. Various herbs such as Willing, wild mint, grass grass, white clover, red clover, mellowwood, alfalfa, Artemisia japonica, Artemisia japonica, etc. grow under the forest and open space, and calamus, reed, sedge, moss, etc. grow in low-dust and wet places. At present, the temperature in the park is 2 - 4 ° C lower than the outside world. Under the pavilions of white birch trees, the grass is fragrant, the stream is gurgling, and the birds are chirping in the forest and fish are swimming in the shallow water. Tourists have many charming scenery, including some unique structures and sightseeing projects, such as observation cars, flower talk corridors, couples ladders, swings, bars, cafes, cold drink houses, etc., which complement the blue sky and create a unique charm. It makes people linger.

After about two hours of sightseeing, I took a taxi for 13 yuan to the hotel to pick up my luggage, and continued to take a taxi for 24 yuan to Altay Syracuse Airport.

On D18, I took a ticket booked through Ctrip and took off back to Xi'an in the early morning of the next day. I took a taxi for 118 yuan and returned home, ending an 18-day free trip to Xinjiang.

The whole journey is 18 days (May 21 to June 7). I make my own strategies, book my own tickets and book hotels. I fly around for 7 flights. The average cost per person is about 5000 yuan. It is very worth it! I have some regrets, and I want to go somewhere I haven't gone, so I will find an opportunity to go again.
