I planned to wait until evening to see the excitement of the performance.

I had dinner in the scenic area of Bailucang and looked around. Compared with other folk villages I have been to, the settings here are more complete. There are various food streets, entertainment projects, specialty shopping, children's parks, performances, and performances. It can be said that it covers all aspects and condenses all major tourist scenes into the essence.

I got the introduction manual for the evening's promotion performance and briefly understood the background of the story. It turns out to be the legendary love story of the famous dance girl Chen Manli of Bailemen during the Republic of China. At 7:30, there were already a large number of tourists waiting to enter the block. This performance was not performed on a traditional stage, but an innovative way to use the entire block as the performance venue, located in the Republic of China District. The old Shanghai-style buildings in the entire street will really impress people. This is a unique design in many cities I have visited.

The performance officially started, and we filed into the block. At this time, the night was deep, the neon lights on both sides were lit up, and actors wearing Republic costumes on the roadside were nearby. For a moment, I really almost forgot where I was. Because it is a live-action drama and interacts with the audience at zero distance, every scene is very exquisite, including the actors 'dressing and makeup, which are very similar to the style of the 1930s. There were three main scenes in the entire performance. The audience followed the guidance to the best performance viewing spots. The music and lighting complemented each other, setting the atmosphere of the entire performance to its climax.

The most thrilling part of the audience was the fierce gun battle in the middle of the story. The real flames on the roof brought heat to the cool night. There were screams one after another in my ears. The random interaction between the actors and the audience was the biggest highlight of the performance. If you are not careful, you will be taken away by bad guys... The performance ended with a sad and affectionate ending, which made the audience cry.

After the game ended, we were still unfinished and couldn't return to reality from this dreamy time and space travel for a long time. Looking at the gatehouse and archway of Bailucang standing tall in the night, it seemed to be quietly telling the story of history. The rustling sound of the wind blowing through the trees in the distance seemed to be crying for this beautiful story.
