Summer is scorching like a fire, making it difficult for people in Xi'an's Urban area. Go to the mountains to see the scenery, blue skies and white clouds and delicious food. Zhu and his family drove to the "Qinling Mountains, Yellow River and Yangtze River Watershed" again. The watershed, as the name suggests, divides water areas. To the south of the watershed are the Yangtze River waters and to the north are the Yellow River waters.
Drive for an hour and follow Xifeng Road south to Fengyukou. We had lunch at a restaurant. Most of the restaurants here sell "fish and frogs". We also ordered a spicy fish and frog stew for 110 yuan per person. It was soft and spicy. Fortunately, the store has air conditioning and it didn't feel hot.
After lunch, enter Defengyu Mountain Pass from the northern slope of the Qinling Mountains and go up the mountain road to the top of the mountain. Go up the G210 National Highway for about 33 kilometers and pass the highest point of the Qinling Mountains highway. It is located at 997 kilometers away from the G210 National Highway and 52 kilometers away from home in Xi'an., of which about 28 kilometers are all uphill sections with an altitude of 2100 meters.
Looking at the Qinling Mountains mark and the marks on both sides of the Yellow River system and the Yangtze River system, we can see all kinds of green trees along the way, blue skies, white clouds and beautiful water, and the scenery along the way is charming. The east-west Qinling Mountains running across central China are about 1600 kilometers long. They are the watershed between the Wei River, a tributary of the Yellow River, and the Jialing River and Han River, a tributary of the Yangtze River. The temperature, climate, and topography between the north and south all show differential changes. The Qinling-Huaihe line has become the most important north-south dividing line in China's geography.
It's fun to drive around mountain roads, but you just need to slow down and pay attention to safety! It is a single lane and two lanes. Be careful when you meet cars. There are many and sharp corners, but the road surface is flat and unobstructed.
After an hour of taking photos at the watershed sign and the open space on the mountain, we also saw many tourists like us, taking a summer vacation here. RVs, tents, floor mats, and benches can be seen everywhere. Everyone is courteous to each other on the way, picking up and cleaning garbage in a timely manner, and professional sanitation workers also provide services for this. The bathroom is also very convenient. Some farmers along the way run their own parking, rest and small restaurants. The temperature in the city is hot and over 30s, and it is refreshing and cool here in the 20s. It is quite comfortable for tourists to park, rest and entertain.
After four o'clock in the afternoon, we drove back down the mountain. It takes an hour to follow the route you came from, via the mountainous road and Xifeng Road, all the way north, enter the city and return home.
The average person in this trip is 150 yuan, and there is no road and bridge fee for oil fees. It is worth the relaxation and happiness for the family!
