Yesterday, Xiaoqi saw an interesting topic online. If you could travel through ancient times, where would you most like to travel?
Although this matter was unrealistic, I couldn't help but imagine it for a while, because I have liked watching some martial arts dramas and studying history since I was a child, and fantasizing about how good it would be to live in ancient times.
Although we cannot travel through ancient times, we can still visit the prosperous Tang Dynasty, appreciate the Northern Song Dynasty, and experience the customs of the Republic of China up close.
Southern Song Dynasty Hangzhou
The capital of the Southern Song Dynasty was in Hangzhou. I believe many people don't know it, and there is actually very little history here.
There are no large-scale and well-preserved ruins in Hangzhou today. In the past, the ruins of the Southern Song Dynasty were located on the Fenghuang Mountain in the south of Hangzhou today. Looking out from the mountain, the Qianjiang River becomes a perfect portrait in the front and back of the West Lake.
The beauty of Hangzhou is a natural feeling. The Songcheng Scenic Area is located on Zhijiang Road in the urban area. The city still retains various imprints of the times. The busy traffic perfectly restores the style of the Song Dynasty. When you come here, you can watch the songs and dances of Songcheng through the ages and feel the changes of history.
Shang Dynasty Anyang
As one of the eight ancient capitals of our country, Anyang is the birthplace of Zhouyi and the hometown of oracle bone inscriptions.
The Yin Ruins here was the capital city of the late Shang Dynasty and the first capital site in my country's history to which literature can be referred. The main attractions include palaces, ancestral temples and royal tombs. Each building is solemn, simple and elegant. Everyone who comes here will feel the unknown balance here.
This feeling is unclear in two words. Only by coming here in person can you feel the power left by history in this place.
Qin Dynasty/Tang Dynasty Xi'an
Speaking of Xi'an, the ancient capital of the 13th Dynasties, is now a popular tourist city in China and famous in the world. It was also the starting point of the Silk Road in the past.
Most of Xianyang, the capital of the Qin Dynasty, was located in what is now Xi'an, and the Terracotta Warriors are located in Lintong District and are known as the "Eight Wonders of the World."
Xi'an is not only the charm of the Qin Dynasty, but also the prosperous age of the Tang Dynasty existed here. The whole city has an elegant atmosphere, and traveling here can make people very relaxed.
Nanjing nationalist
Nanjing is a city that retains too much history of the Republic of China. People often say that "one Nanjing city is half of the history of the Republic of China." There are a large number of well-preserved Republic of China buildings, block docks, etc., all of which belong to the glory of the past.
Strolling through the streets of Nanjing and admiring the buildings and ruins of the Republic of China have not changed with the passage of time. It integrates the cultures of the north and south and is known as the epitome of Chinese and foreign architecture during the period when the west wind spread eastward.
