The ancient capital of Xi'an is still a bit far away for me, a tourist from Northeast China. A friend once recommended me to come here, but I didn't come for various reasons. Today, I finally had the opportunity to pass by Xi'an and stay for a day and a half. Before coming here, I briefly took a look at what I need to do in the ancient capital of Xi'an, and briefly listed them: Xi'an City Wall, Forest of Steles Museum, Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Hui Street, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Little Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Sleepless City (Internet celebrity check-in place), Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, Qin Dynasty Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Qin Mausoleum Museum (Lishan Garden), Qin Mausoleum Underground Palace, etc. Due to time constraints, I haven't reached them all. Let's talk about transportation first. I traveled from Northeast China to Xining and from Xining to Xi'an. The main way from Xining to Xi'an is by plane and high-speed rail. The plane takes one hour and twenty minutes, and the high-speed rail takes five hours and ten minutes. In fact, in terms of time, they are all about the same. It takes time to get to the airport and from the airport to the city. I chose the plane method. Since I left late, I arrived in Xi'an at 23:40 p.m.. I had an appointment before, and I could directly go from the airport to my place of residence. The time was about one hour, and the cost was about 135 yuan. Because it was a car booked in advance, it was quite convenient to leave the house. There is no subway from Xi'an Airport to the city yet. Since the place you choose to live is near Yongning Gate, you can walk to most attractions or ride a shared bicycle. From Yongning Gate to Terracotta Warriors, you can take No. 11 to Changle Crossing in the East Second Ring Road and then transfer to No. 307 to reach the Terracotta Warriors. The time is about two hours. The bus is slow, stops at many stops, and is prone to traffic jams. I chose to reserve an express train and take the highway. It takes about 50 minutes to get there. The cost is 140 yuan. If there are relatively many people, I can rent a car myself and save some money.

Let's talk about accommodation. The overall price of accommodation in Xi'an is still acceptable. Perhaps because it is not the tourist season, I live in Hanting in Yongningmen. The price is 176. There are some places to eat around, which is relatively quiet.

The main food is roadside stalls. It's a pity that I didn't go to Shanghui Street. It's said that there are some delicious food there. Tongguan Roujiamo, Xi'an dough noodles, and oil-sprinkled noodles are all common and delicious. It is recommended to eat them. Other times, I need to bring some myself because I am at attractions or on the road. Lintong is rich in fire crystal persimmon and pomegranate, which are very delicious. I brought some back, and the family also said that they were delicious.

Finally, let's talk about the attractions we have visited. The order is as follows: Xi'an City Wall, Forest of Steles Museum, Drum Tower, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Sleepless City, Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors, Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum. In fact, cultural tourism is very challenging. You must do your homework before and at least understand the cultural background. Otherwise, it will be really a very dull thing.

Xi'an City Wall officially departed at noon on the first day. From where you live to the entrance of Yongning Gate (South Gate), you can walk. Because you are not familiar with it, you can't get in at the entrance of the scenic spot. After going around for a long time, you can find the entrance. Here is a key reminder to go to the scenic spot and take the subway channel to enter. Take the subway channel to enter, take the subway channel to enter, and tell the important things three times. Admission to the scenic spot is 55 yuan, and the city wall is relatively long. If you need to circle the city, you can choose a battery car or rent a bicycle. The cost of the battery car is unknown. The bicycle I rented is 15 yuan per hour, starting from three hours, with a deposit of 100 yuan. At first, I didn't know how long the city wall was, but I thought it was very close, so I rented a bicycle to ride it. Later, I asked the local driver and said it was 10 kilometers. The second stop is the Stele Forest Museum. After riding a bicycle, you can refund the bicycle deposit at Yongning Gate. There is a Xiacheng entrance about 100 meters back. After the lower city, you will be the Stele Forest Museum. In the peak season (March 1-the end of November), it is 65 yuan/person, and half ticket is 37 yuan/person. In the off-season (December 1-the end of February of the following year), all tickets are 50 yuan/person, and half ticket is 25 yuan/person. There are seven exhibition halls in the Forest of Steles, which store various stone steles. If you have any knowledge of calligraphy, you can go and have a look. It is spectacular. The third stop is Gulou, which is to take a look from afar. It's too late to go to the History Museum.

The fourth stop is the History Museum. There are six exhibition halls in total, and there are also special exhibitions. Tickets need to be booked online. If you don't see the special exhibition, it will be free. Generally, I start from the first exhibition hall, which is crowded, so I choose to start from the third exhibition hall and then come back to see the first exhibition hall. It's not bad. Visiting time: off-season (November 15 to March 14 of the following year) 9:00-17:30 (ticket collection stops at 16:00), peak season (March 15 to November 14) 8:30-18:00 (ticket collection stops at 16:30).

When I went there, the fountain in the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was under maintenance, and I went to the Tang Priest and the city that never sleeps in the South Square. There is a performance in the southernmost square every day in the city that never sleeps. Don't miss it, it should be at 6 p.m. At nine o'clock, various Internet celebrities performed, including tumblers, stone figures, and painting figures.
