The trip to Xi'an has been planned for a long time, but the small things in work and life are quite arduous, so it has been shelved. Originally, the trip to Xi'an was scheduled to be held during the National Day holiday. Considering the dense population during the National Day holiday, it is actually the same. I heard that during the holidays, Xi'an was not only jammed with traffic but also crowded with people, so the holiday was postponed for a month and placed directly at the end of October. Facts proved that this decision was very wise. Avoid the peak travel period. There are not many people in Xi'an, but it does not affect the enjoyment of the surrounding scenery;

Xi'an as a whole gives people a very atmospheric and heavy feeling. It may be due to the characteristics of history, and the city wall is particularly spectacular. Riding on the city wall is equivalent to visiting the city, which will be explained in detail in the subsequent text! List a few places that individuals think are very worth visiting: the city wall, the Bell and Drum Tower, the Terracotta Warriors, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Huashan Mountain; as for whether other places are worth visiting, please read the main text!

[Introduction to History]

Although this information can save my mother, I feel it is necessary to explain it to me, which will be afterthought for myself, and I can also learn about friends who plan to go to Xi'an in advance;

Xi'an was called Chang' an in ancient times. Xi'an has a history of more than 3100 years of city construction and a history of more than 1100 years of capital. Thirteen dynasties including the Western Zhou, Qin, Western Han, New and Western Jin Dynasties (Emperor Min), Former Zhao, Former Qin, Later Qin, Western Wei, Northern Zhou, Sui and Tang dynasties established their capitals here. It was also the capital of peasant uprising regimes such as Chimei, Lulin, Da Qi (Huangchao), and Dashun (Li Zicheng). Xi'an is the "Silk Road", starting from Chang' an and ending in ancient Rome in the west. Xi'an is a world-famous historical city, on the same footing as Rome, Athens and Cairo. It is also the longest history among China's six ancient capitals. Chang' an culture represents the backbone of Chinese culture.

What needs to be noted here is that we have hired tour guides for scenic spots such as the Terracotta Warriors. If we hire a tour guide, we will learn more about more historical places. (3) Regarding Huimin Street, I personally feel that it is just famous and has a strong taste and expensive price. A bowl of paomo costs about 40 yuan and Roujiamo costs about 20 yuan. Later, during the trip, I met some local people in Xi'an who said they wanted to eat authentic Xi'an snacks and should not go to Huimin Street to eat them. Therefore, if there are Xi'an people around, we must ask clearly. We also asked many Xi'an people before going, and the results were still unsatisfactory;

(4) Travel to Huaqing Chi and Terracotta Warriors. If you don't rent a car and drive yourself to these two attractions, you must go to the railway station to take a bus. Please look for a regular bus (No. 306/No. 914). Speaking of this, this editor also shed tears of bitterness. Before we went there, we had read a lot of articles saying that we should recognize public transportation. When we went there, we went straight to the bus dispatch room. As a result, there were several people wearing uniforms at the entrance of the dispatch room with armbands such as conductor. In the end, we simply thought that it must be a regular ticket sales, so we asked about the price, which was also a round-trip 15 yuan (7 yuan to go, 8 yuan back), so we paid the money directly, and then we gave it to us alone to take us to the bus. At that time, we knew that we had been cheated, but later we learned that if it was a real bus, it would not collect all the money at once. It would determine your fare based on your destination; After getting on the bus, there was a tour guide who kept talking. In the end, he wanted you to buy tickets from them. When we realized that we had been cheated, we said that we had bought tickets online, so we heard the tour guide underestimating a few words in front of us ("It's similar to" If you buy tickets, what do we make?"). After arriving in Huaqingchi, we stopped traveling with them, and we just thought we spent more than ten yuan in vain;

(5) Regarding the music fountain, the music fountain is right in front of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. There are two festivals at 12:00 noon and 8:30 pm. Personally, I think it will be more beautiful at night; the Tang Dynasty Sleepless City is next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is also the night view. Beautiful;

(6) Shaanxi History Museum can receive free tickets every morning with your ID card (three exhibition halls, additional tickets are required for special venues). The number of tickets announced to the public is 2000, but in fact, I think it is far more;

(7) Regarding the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, it should be the Emperor's Imperial Garden. It was built on the original site, but it has no longer had the flavor of the past. It is a bit late to go in this season. If there is a warm spring season, it should be quite beautiful. It was originally going for the water curtain movie at around 8 p.m., but I was told that it was cancelled and turned into a music fountain. Because I had just seen it the day before, I suddenly felt that I had spent 120 yuan in the ticket price, so I suggested asking clearly when buying a ticket; There is also a performance of "Dream Back to the Tang Dynasty" in the park, and the stage is also relatively small;

Regarding Datang Furong Garden, don't think my evaluation of it is very negative. In fact, it is very pertinent. This is a purely profitable place;

b. Preparation: Comfortable shoes, gloves (white work gloves will do, and people will naturally sell them when you arrive in Huashan, so it's better to buy a pair), long sleeves + coat (the coat can be thicker, the inside is moderate, and don't wear too much), water, dry food;

c. The temperature at the foot of Huashan Mountain is about 5 ° C lower than that in Xi'an on average. At the end of October, the temperature on the mountain must be below zero. Fortunately, it has snowed on the mountain, and it will sweat during the climb, which will be relatively hot. However, once people stop and rest, they will feel cold. Once it snows, the mountain road will be very difficult to walk, because it will be more slippery because of its steepness;

If you are going to climb up, you need to go up from the North Peak. If you come down, there are cableways on both the North Peak and the West Peak. You can judge based on your physical strength or climb down; if you are physically strong, you can go up the North Peak--South Peak-East Peak--Lower West Peak;

If you are on the cable car, you will have to go up from Xifeng;

e. Regarding the Changkong Plank Road, the Changkong Plank Road is located on the southern peak of Huashan Mountain. It took us five or six hours to climb to the intersection of Xifeng and Nanfeng because it was snowy and slippery that day. Because we still had to catch the bullet train, we considered the time problem. We couldn't go. It's a pity that we all went for that, but we didn't expect Huashan to be so difficult. We had many roads to climb with our hands on the ground (this is why we needed gloves)

g. We climbed Huashan a total of 7.5H, excluding the South Peak and the East Peak. Many people climb it at night. There are pros and cons. Climbing it at night can see the sunrise, but you can't see the scenery along the way, including some dangerous places. You won't climb it at night. The route you climb is relatively safe. It is recommended to do a foot massage after climbing the mountain. It will be much better the next day!

8:00 a.m. 30 Depart from Pudong, Shanghai, 11:30 After coming out of Xianyang Airport, it was actually easy to take a taxi in Xi'an, and there was not a phenomenon of refusing to pick up a car. It took nearly an hour and a half to arrive in downtown Xi'an, which is where I lived. Downstairs was Xi'an's more famous "Wei Family Cold Skin". When I went downstairs, I ordered a cold skin angrily. It tasted great and chewy. I just couldn't accept the spicy taste when I first arrived, but according to my friends, it was spicy and happy. Hahahahahaha!

After feeding my stomach, the first trip is the ancient city wall. The full-price ticket for the ancient city wall is 54 yuan, and the student ticket is half price. You can enter from any door. However, according to the taxi driver, the south gate is the main entrance of the Xi'an city wall. Naturally, the momentum is above the other doors!

Xi'an City Wall is also known as Xi'an Ming City Wall. Located in the central area of Xi'an City, the wall is 12 meters high, the top width is 12 - 14 meters, and the bottom width is 15 - 18 meters. The outline is a closed rectangle, with a total of 13.74 kilometers. The city wall is the Ancient City. The Xi'an City Wall has four main gates: Changle Gate (East Gate), Yongning Gate (South Gate), Anding Gate (West Gate), and Anyuan Gate (North Gate).

After we really got to the city wall, we rented a bicycle immediately. The price was 90/2 hours for a double bicycle and 45/2 hours for a single bicycle. Personally, I think this is a good price. If you choose to walk, I suggest you go there in the morning and walk slowly. It will take five or six hours. We rode angrily all afternoon (personally, the speed is still a little fast, and we need to stop and watch it occasionally). It took less than 2.5 hours, and we could rent a car and return it at any small bicycle station halfway. We had a good ride. Many of the city walls were under maintenance, but the original appearance of several main doors could be seen;

After riding a full circle, we took a leisurely stroll on it again, lamenting the wisdom and difficulty of the ancient people; we played a panoramic shooting outside the city wall, but unfortunately, my sister even ran away and vomited blood before the shooting became like this.
