[My Appointment] Written before traveling

On January 25, 2017, I made an appointment with myself for this travel note. At that time, I said:

From January 27 to February 2,

I plan to go to Xi'an.

Before leaving, I typed these words:

Visit the ancient city, remember Chang 'an, and find the flavor of the New Year!

Write before the line

I like the true feelings expressed under those gorgeous words, and I envy those who can use gorgeous words as their way of survival and travel as their way of life! Come to a life where as long as it begins, there is no end! I have a date with you!

On July 28, 6,

A sudden disaster destroyed the city of Tangshan,

7.8 An earthquake of magnitude 40 also claimed countless lives in their sleep,

At the same time, it also destroyed Tangshan's history!

Tangshan--This new city with a phoenix like rebirth,

For us, the confirmation of history only began in 1976!

As history goes by,

As time goes by,

All that remains is to keep moving forward,

We have to stand up by ourselves!

And the so-called year,

I lost something too!

How exactly does the year pass?

I have been looking!

Walking on the road, my heart yearn for it, I understand it,

Perhaps it is just another way to carry life!

Maybe it has always been in my heart!

And where is my heart?

itinerary

There is no specific time arrangement for this trip to Xi'an, and the following itinerary is random. I can go wherever I want to. It is summarized after the tour, so it may be a little messy.

D1: Tangshan--Xi'an

D2: Shaanxi History Museum, Dacien Temple (Big Wild Goose Pagoda), Tang Dynasty Furong Garden

D3: Xiaoyan Pagoda, Qujiangchi Ruins Park, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Hui Street, Ancient City Wall Light Exhibition

D4: Yongxingfang Intangible Cultural Heritage Food and Culture Street, Shuhumen Pedestrian Street, Dayan Pagoda Music Fountain Square

D5: Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors, Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum, Huaqing Pond, Li Mountain

D6: Xi'an--Hukou Waterfall, Shanxi--Pingyao Ancient City

D7: Pingyao--Tangshan

D1: Walking on the road

Tangshan to Xi'an is about 1260 kilometers, and the navigation shows that it takes less than 15 hours, so we get up early and set off at 5 o'clock. The journey was quite smooth, and we arrived at Shijiazhuang at 9 a.m., but after passing through Shijiazhuang, it was not so easy to drive. The mountain road began to bend eighteen corners and lasted for more than three hours. When the mountain road was changed after lunch in the Pingyao South Service Area, the mountain road basically ended, with only a short section occasionally, but interval speed measurement was also started. The so-called interval speed measurement means that you cannot exceed the speed at all times. It is best to drive at an average speed, otherwise you will not know how you overspeed in the end!

When I went to Inner Mongolia on National Day, I once experienced an interval speed measurement of 80 kilometers per hour on a wide car-free road. It was really a torment!! Fortunately, it was 120/hour this time, which was comforting.

Before 6 o'clock in the afternoon, we finally arrived at our destination-Xi'an! Two hours earlier than expected, which is not bad.

I first arrived in Xi'an at around 6 o'clock in the evening. There were not many cars on the road, but it was very clean! All shopping malls and shops were closed, and my heart suddenly turned cold: Why do I feel so depressed? But the idea collapsed the next day: that person! It's called bumping shoulders, it's called loud voices, it's called overwhelming mountains...

The atmosphere and rhythm of the New Year are all high!

Different red lanterns are hung on every street, and different colored shining neon lights are hung on every tree, echoing the atmosphere of the New Year!

D2: Shaanxi Bo, Dacien Temple (Big Wild Goose Pagoda) Tang Furong Garden

Because it was the first day of the Lunar New Year, we felt that there would be fewer people than usual, so we decisively decided to go to Shaanxi Expo first to witness history! Sure enough, there were surprisingly few people! I thought to myself: This New Year is really a holiday, we are all out for a stroll! There was no choice but to take pictures of the back of the team waiting to collect the tickets. About 40 minutes or so, we finally walked into the door!

Tip: There is a specified number of free tickets for Shaanxi Expo every day, about 3000 in the morning and 3000 in the afternoon. They can be collected with their ID card and cannot be collected on their behalf. If you don't want to wait in line, you can buy a ticket to the Treasure Hall: 20 yuan, and then visit together!

It is reported that Shaanxi Expo is a imitation of the Tang Dynasty building under the instructions of Premier Zhou Enlai. The historical relics and cultural relics inside are indeed rich. Those treasures that embody the crystallization of the wisdom of ancient people are touching even a layperson like me when I see them! It is worthy of being a precipitation of thousands of years in China!

Suggestion: Guide guides to explain (you can find two or three companies to work together, because the price is 10 yuan for less than 10 people) or you can rent electronic guide for 30 yuan each. Otherwise, you really can't understand it! You may know one, ten, or even a hundred, but you can't understand them all!

Another reminder: Some people who want to ride the tour guide will probably be disappointed, because the tour guide's voice is very soft. When talking to the silent microphone, only those who have hired a tour guide and wear headphones can hear it!

Okay, put a few pictures of what you like below!

Add picture tracing

After coming out of Shanbo, I ate mutton steamed buns opposite me. The taste was okay, but the price of roujiamo was too expensive!

After dinner, walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Ticket: 50 yuan. You need to purchase an additional 30 yuan to climb the pagoda. As soon as I walked to the periphery of the scenic area, I already felt the crowd surging. I only realized after entering Dacien Temple: Today is the first day of the New Year, the day to burn incense and worship Buddha. Why would there be so many people! Even if he came, he settled down, and her husband also asked for peace for his family!

Tip: Those who are not interested in temples or are in a hurry can take a look outside, because there is little difference between looking inside and outside.

Only when I arrived in Xi'an did I realize that it had also experienced several earthquakes, large and small. What is amazing is that the Big Wild Goose Pagoda has always stood tall. It is said that it can withstand earthquakes of magnitude 8 or above. It is really a sigh of admiration for the wisdom of ancient people!

The last place I went to today: Datang Furong Garden. The Tang Dynasty Furong Garden was newly built on the ruins of the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden. It is a large-scale royal garden cultural theme park that displays the style of the Tang Dynasty in all aspects. At night, the lanterns in Furong Garden are blooming and beautiful! Here, not only did you see the world's largest water curtain movie, but also a wonderful tree-breaking performance. It was a worthwhile trip!

Tickets: During the Spring Festival (to the sixth day of the lunar new day), the daily price of the light show is 100 yuan and 50 yuan on weekdays

D3: Little Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell and Drum Tower, Hui Street, Ancient City Wall Light Exhibition

The Little Wild Goose Pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty and withstood more than 1200 years of wind and rain and more than 70 earthquakes. In 1487, in the 23rd year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty, it cracked for the first time. A few decades later, another major earthquake occurred, which closed the original crack. This happened twice since then. It's amazing!

Not as famous as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the noisy Little Wild Goose Pagoda is more leisurely and peaceful! It gives people a feeling of being aloof from the world and unassuming.

Tickets: Free, collect with your ID card

Bell Tower and Drum Tower are called sister buildings and Wenwu buildings. It is the most complete and largest one left over from ancient China.

Tickets: 35 yuan each, 50 yuan for joint ticket

I wanted to visit the Bell and Drum Tower and Hui Street together when I went to the city wall to watch the light show at night, so I went to Qujiangchi Ruins Park during the intervening period. It felt so ordinary, so I wouldn't make much introduction.

As the so-called shopping and eating, when you come to Xi'an, Hui Street is a must-visit. It is overwhelmed with all kinds of delicious food! I didn't even have time to take photos. One is: people, wives, wives... More! The second is: both are occupied and cannot be vacated! Of course, the prices here are also high. For example, this red willow barbecue is 10 yuan/skewer. Although it is pure mutton (not necessarily, just take it as it is) and served with willow branches, it still feels a little expensive!

Although the Gao Family Courtyard located on Huimin Street is not as large as the Qiao Family Courtyard, the shadow puppets inside are still worth seeing. It would be good to take this opportunity to let my son understand the few traditional culture. After all, you can't see it outside!

Tickets: 15 yuan

Shadow puppet show: 15 yuan

Old tune: 30 yuan

In order to see the city wall light exhibition, I went there after dinner, but it was a pity that there were no bicycles to ride at this time!

The light exhibition on the city wall is a little more limited than the one in the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden. After all, the width of the city wall is limited. It cannot be put down if the design is too large. There are also restrictions on taking photos. If there are too many people, it will be impossible to leave.

It was not very convenient to watch. We entered through the middle door and then headed east. We felt too tired at the end, so we didn't go to see the west. If we wanted to see the west light show, we had to walk back again. The road is repeated. Therefore, the same ticket for 100 yuan is not as good as the value of Furong Garden.

D4: Yongxing Square, Shuyuan Gate, Big Wild Goose Pagoda Music Fountain Square

Since we had been playing very late the previous two nights, we slept until we woke up naturally today. We didn't go out in the hotel in the morning until we beat drums in our stomachs. We went straight to Yongxing Square. I heard that many local people go to Yongxing Square for dinner, but this seems to be different after arriving. Yongxing Square implements unified management and does not accept cash. It requires a single card for meals and shopping, and can be refunded directly after using it. It looks like a food street that has not been built for a long time. There are much fewer people than Hui Street. The store is not large, but it is still sanitary and very clean.

We ordered two bowls of donkey hooves noodles and a bowl of tofu pudding there! The taste is not bad, and my son loves it very much.

After dinner, take a bus to Shuyuanmen Pedestrian Street. The Gate of the Academy is like a book when you hear this name. There are many types of pens, inks, papers, and inkstones, which are a paradise for calligraphy. Among them, there are also paintings sold on the street. The Forest of Steles Museum is nearby, with many famous monuments and rich collections. It is a treasure house of ancient Chinese calligraphy art. Friends who love calligraphy should not miss it. I, of course, missed it because I really didn't know much about it.

Last stop: Big Wild Goose Pagoda Fountain Square, where many tourists come here. Due to too many people and a light show built directly in front of the fountain square, it is a pity that we couldn't take photos of the fountain!

Today, I have to mention that for dinner, the Wei family cold rice noodles eaten east of the South Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda are very good and delicious and inexpensive. Weijia Cold Noodles should be a chain store, and there are also other streets. You can try it if you have time.

D5: Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, Terracotta Warriors, Huaqing Pond, Lishan Mountain

Today, we came to the Terracotta Warriors of Qin Shi Huang in Lintong, about 30 kilometers away from Xi'an. After getting off the highway, traffic jams began on the direct road 6 kilometers away from the scenic spot, and it was at 8:30 in the morning. You can imagine that there were a lot of people!

It is the eighth wonder of the world and a monument of the Qin Dynasty, so I rented an electronic interpreter for 30 yuan/set. However, because there were too many people, they couldn't hear clearly, and the 90 yuan was wasted!

Important reminder: Children under the age of 16 are free of charge, regardless of height! Therefore, please don't buy tickets for children under the age of 16. It's a waste!

In addition, friends who are not very interested in the tomb can not go to the tomb of Qin Shihuang, because it is a tomb from a distance, a tomb from a close distance, and a tomb from a closer perspective! laugh cry)(laugh cry

However, if you have time, you can also go and see it because:

1. The same ticket as the Terracotta Warriors;

2. There are free buses back and forth, as well as buses back to Xi'an Railway Station;

3. There is a free guide explanation. The so-called 3 points to see and 7 points to listen, but here it is 1 point to see and 9 points to listen!

It was almost 4 o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived at Huaqing Pool, so we only visited Huaqing Pool under the guidance of the guide and did not go to Mount Li. Huaqing Pond is mainly famous for its hot springs, so those soup ponds must be understood. Without the guidance of the tour guide, you can't understand them just by looking at them. Also interesting are the bullet holes left by the Xi'an Incident, the clothes and hats left by Chiang Kai-shek when he escaped and the shelter halfway up the mountain.

D6: Xi'an-Hukou Waterfall, Shanxi-Pingyao Ancient City

In order to avoid being blocked on the highway during the peak period of returning home on the sixth day, we decided to return today, take a turn to see Hukou Waterfall, and then tour Pingyao Ancient City at night! Facts have proved that my decision was right! There were too many cars returning the next day. We used mobile navigation to search for road conditions in real time and change routes. Finally, we were not stuck on the highway!

Let's talk about Hukou Waterfall first: Hukou Waterfall is located at the junction of Shanxi and Shaanxi. It can be seen on both sides of the scenic spot, but it belongs to Shanxi Province and Shaanxi Province respectively. Therefore, you can only choose one side to watch. Of course, local tyrants can watch both sides. They just buy a ticket, and then detour to the opposite scenic spot to buy another ticket!

We chose the Shanxi side this time. The fare is 100 yuan, the scenic spot bus is 20 yuan, and the Hukou Longdong is 20 yuan, making a total of 140 yuan. I heard from other netizens that the ticket for the first two years was 60. There were no scenic spots buses, so you could drive all the way to the scenic spots. Longdong was also free! Therefore, traveling in China really can't afford to hurt!!! crying)

Hukou Waterfall has a maximum drop of 30 meters. The vast water surface suddenly harvests a bunch and pours down. It looks like a giant pot injecting water, hence the name Hukou! The scenic spots of the waterfall are not big, but they are very spectacular and magnificent!

Dragon Cave is the best place to view Hukou Waterfall, and you can also better appreciate the two wonders of thunder in the valley stream and dragons playing on the waves.

It's better to watch smoke in the water from above.

It's a pity that I couldn't see the spectacle of a rainbow reaching the sky this time, but I was very lucky to watch the Hukou Ice Waterfall. It was also very good. As the saying goes: if you lose, you will gain!

Let's talk about the ancient city of Pingyao: As early as three years ago, I visited the ancient city, but I had my 4-year-old son with me, so I couldn't feel the charm of Pingyao's night view! This time, I came again while passing by!

Pingyao at night is a little more peaceful than the vicissitudes of the past, but more of today's flashy and illusory!

D7: Pingyao Ancient City--Tangshan

Sleep in Pingyao, get up at 8 o'clock, wash up, pack your luggage, have breakfast, refuel, and leave at 10 o'clock! Here, what I have to say is that Pingyao is now too commercial, and the price is high! At breakfast, I specifically asked for 5 yuan for wontons, but when I checked out, I charged it at 8 yuan.

I'm very lucky that I wasn't stuck on the road today! Mainly thanks to the current navigation, the road information display is very accurate. We temporarily changed the route twice according to the actual situation, avoided all the congested sections, and easily arrived home at 6 p.m.!

PostScript

Although there are no gorgeous words, people may find it boring, but I am willing to use this elementary writing level to record every place we have visited and remember every moment. No matter how the years pass, it will be a key to evoke my inner memories.
