preface

On a short weekend, a two-hour flight from Tianjin to Chang 'an, let us experience the prosperous Tang Dynasty.

I don't know when it started, Xi'an, the charming ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties, once again entered people's attention and quickly became popular. Deep history and leaping modern technology collide in this city, but everything seems so harmonious.

I was itching by this wind and wanted to touch this magical city with my own hands. As a result, there was this "journey through".

The ancient charm of Xi'an emerges from every corner of the city without any trace of affectation. Just like a lady from a big family who never deliberately flaunts her identity as a celebrity. The ancient city wall, which has a history of more than 600 years, lies quietly in the center of the city, looking at the passers-by, one after another, generation after generation. Witnessing history, but never disturbing history.

the first day

If we wanted to enter the prosperous Chang 'an where all countries worshipped, the first stop we decided to start from[Datang Furong Garden]Start.

Chang 'an during the Sui and Tang Dynasties was the only international metropolis in the world with a population of more than one million, more than twice the size of Beijing today. Furong Garden of the Tang Dynasty was the royal garden at that time.

The Ziyun Tower in the garden was a place where Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty gave banquets to ministers. During festivals, ministers would be rewarded here and gold was sprinkled from the upper floors down.

Qujiang Liuyin is the place where talented people enjoyed their fun on the boating lake after they were in high school. At that time, servants would place the wine cup on a plate and float it on the lake. The talented man on the boat picked it up and drank it in one gulp. It was very happy to think about it.

The Lady Hall was the place where talented women and celebrities gathered. The Tang Dynasty was an era of unprecedented openness. At that time, women were free and unrestrained, and their talents were as talented as men. Women can go out, go out for spring outing, play ball...

The area of the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden is extremely large. In addition to pavilions, pavilions, water playing lakes, there are also food areas, experience areas, performance areas, etc., which are enough for you to play all day... Many people wearing Tang Dynasty costumes are often seen in the yard. Tourists are also a special scenery.

I believe many people have heard the saying that the best way to understand a city is to go to a museum. So the second stop, we went[Shaanxi History Museum]

There are so many people visiting the Shaanxi History Museum. It feels like there are more people than the National Museum.

Because of the commentators accompanying the team, I felt that this trip was really fruitful. Anyway, I am a person who loves to listen to explanations, and I always feel that going to a museum without listening to explanations is a waste of time. Facing a pile of cultural relics, it doesn't know me, and I don't know it either. What's so good about it?

After spending two hours in the Shaanxi Museum, I could only say a quick glance because there were so many exhibits inside. Now when I am asked to write, I really have no way to start writing. I feel that I can't finish the story I heard even by writing 20,000 words. Pick a few that you find interesting and share with you:

[Beast Head Agate Cup]

[Beast Head Agate Cup]

Let's not say that the treasure of the town museum is exquisite, but most of the exhibits in Shaanxi Bo can afford this term. So how precious is this treasure? National treasure-level cultural relics are included in the list of prohibited exhibitions abroad.

"Chinese version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"

"Chinese version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"

Although Tang Sancai does not have three colors, but has many colors, there are still very few blue Tang Sancai works. This exhibit is one of them, and it is exquisite and exquisite. It is said that the maximum carrying capacity of a camel is two to three people, and this camel carries eight people! A Tang lady and seven musicians.

Du Guxin Seal

Du Guxin Seal

Du Guxin is known as the most powerful father-in-law in history. All three sons-in-law are emperors, and the youngest daughter Du Gujialuo is the very famous Empress Dugu (Empress of Literature). Because this father-in-law had too many titles, he simply made such a polyhedral seal. This seal made of coal crystal has a total of 26 faces, of which 14 square faces are engraved with seals. The seals on 14 faces have different contents and each has its own purpose.

These two pottery pots are even more powerful

It is said that when archaeologists discovered and opened the pottery, the jar contained more than a thousand treasures in large cans and small boxes in large cans. All the treasures in the Tang Dynasty Heritage Exhibition were taken out from two cans, and only one-third of the treasures in the cans.

However, when the experts counted and took out these treasures one by one, there was no way to put these more than a thousand treasures in them now. They couldn't fit them at all! Isn't it amazing??

Everyone look at the pottery jar on the right. Is there a gap? That was accidentally knocked by archaeologists when they used Luoyang shovel to explore the ground. So, experts also use Luoyang shovels???

At present, except for the Tang Dynasty Heritage Exhibition, which charges a fee, several other exhibition halls are open for free, as long as you make an appointment in advance. Regarding the commentators, you can see them when you enter the exhibition hall, and there are clear charging standards based on the explanation time. I am strong! Strong! I recommend that everyone be sure to hire a guide. It's really interesting and knowledge-enhancing!

For the next stop at the museum, we went to a nearby museum[Big Wild Goose Pagoda]

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is also called the Dacien Temple Pagoda. The seven-story Big Wild Goose Pagoda is equivalent to a 21-story modern dwelling house.

Speaking of the owner of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, we must be familiar with him. He is the protagonist of "Journey to the West" who has "deceived" us for many years, Xuanzang (Tang Priest). Therefore, before entering the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, we can see the statue of Master Xuanzang in the most conspicuous place at the entrance.

Why do you say it was fraud? Because Master Xuanzang did travel westward and did take pictures, but he did not bring three monks with him. However, the dangers and dangers of this journey are really no less than those in "Journey to the West". The story of Tang Priest traveling to the West can be seen in the Xuanzang Sanzang Master Courtyard in the back of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

It was nearly dusk when we came out of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. We had dinner nearby because we didn't want to go far, and there was more exciting nightlife waiting for us at night in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

In the north square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, there is a musical fountain performance every night. When we arrived, there was still half an hour before the performance started, and the square was already filled with people.

At the beginning of the performance, as the musical fountain transformed into beautiful pictures such as mountains and seas, mist, butterflies in love with flowers, and brilliance. It is said that one of the eight-level frequency conversion squares is also the largest fountain square in the world.

Traveling in Xi'an, it seems that you really don't need to do too many strategies. After watching the fountain performance, follow the crowd to the side and you will find the Tang Dynasty City that never sleeps. On this 1500-meter landscaped pedestrian street that runs across the north and south, you can see it every step. The Internet celebrity tumbler lady is also here, but it is still a bit difficult to see her real appearance. The people in line are really crowded.

At the end of the first day of play, do you think we have been to many places? In fact, these scenic spots are all in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda District, within walking distance. I'm really tired. It only takes a few minutes to ride a spinning bike. Isn't it convenient?

the next day

The next day, we only went to one place--[Qin Shihuang Terracotta Warriors and Horses]

There are so many scenic spots in Xi'an, each with history, culture, and characteristics. However, if we could only choose one as a representative, I believe many people would still choose Terracotta Warriors.

What are the terra cotta warriors to see? To be honest, it would be enough after a cursory look. I also heard some tourists joke: Are you so far away to see these "mud dolls"?

But the story about the Terracotta Warriors is so wonderful...

As we all know, the Terracotta Warriors were part of the tomb of Qin Shi Huang. Qin Shihuang ascended the throne at the age of 13. He began to build the tomb from the year he ascended the throne until his death at the age of 50. It took a total of 37 years to build it.

The underground palace of the Qin Mausoleum was carved with three layers of spring water, and the coffin of Qin Shi Huang was placed under 30% of the spring water. The sun, moon and stars were inlaid with pearls and agate, and the rivers, lakes and seas were penetrated with mercury. There were also palaces of the six countries and the seating of all officials. It can be said that it seems like death is still alive. The terracotta warriors we see today are just the tip of the iceberg in this huge underground world.

Currently, only Pit 1.2.3 can be visited with the Terracotta Warriors. More than 6,000 Terracotta Warriors can be seen in Pit 1, which is very spectacular. As for the other two, for an ordinary person like me, they are nothing to watch. However, there is also a "Qin Shihuang Mausoleum Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall" here. If it weren't for the guide, I would have missed it.

This museum is an exhibition hall that I think I must not miss, because it houses the most exquisite terracotta warriors unearthed. For example, the kneeling figure among them is so detailed that even the thousand-layered bottom of the sole can be clearly seen.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang are located in Lintong District, Xi'an, far away from the urban area and the journey takes several hours. So, when we came back from the Terracotta Warriors, our weekend trip to Xi'an was over.

conclusion

Xi'an is certainly not a city that you can understand in two days. But two days were enough to make me feel deeply shocked. Some cities are must-visit places in this life, but Xi'an is a city that must be visited again and again.

Increase your knowledge and return happily. Xi'an, wait for me to come back ~~
