As the ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties, Xi'an is undoubtedly a treasure tourist destination with outstanding people. Whether it is cultural landscapes or natural scenery, it is fascinating... Of course, there are also delicious food that people will never forget!

Speaking of which, I actually completed this Xi'an tour the year before last. I always wanted to write something to record when I came back. However, I was too lazy and had terminal procrastination, and I finally started recording until this year...

Prepare before departure

Time: Late November, autumn and winter alternate, Xi'an is already very cold, about 7-10 degrees every day, especially cold in the morning and evening when there is no sun

Clothing: Sweater, down, hat and scarf, baby warming are must-have. And as a southerner from a humid and cold area, I say that the dry and cold in the north is also very fatal! It really hurts when the wind blows to your face! The cold wind like a knife is not an exaggeration!

Accommodation: You can choose near the Bell and Drum Tower, where there are many subway stations, bus stations, shopping malls and food shops

Note: Xi'an has many scenic spots, and they are basically major attractions. If the trip is intensive, if we go to two or three attractions every day like ours, we can bring a portable foldable bucket (a treasure) or buy a basin locally to soak your feet every night, which is very helpful for relieving foot fatigue.

itinerary

Day1: Guangzhou? Xi'an? Xi'an City Wall? Huimin Street

Day2: Huaqing Pool? Terracotta Warriors

Day3: Mount Hua?

Day4: Little Wild Goose Pagoda? Xi'an Museum? Shaanxi History Museum? Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Square Music Fountain

Day5: Daming Palace Ruins Park? Qujiang Pool? datang Furong garden

Day6: Stone Forest Museum? Guangzhou

Day 1: Broken legs, Ming Great Wall j

It took two or three hours to fly from Guangzhou early in the morning to Xi'an, and went straight to the B & B to store my luggage. We chose a B & B with a Chinese-style decoration and kang (although it is not a real kang, it is good to enjoy it). It is near the Bell and Drum Tower, which is very convenient for transportation, eating and drinking. It is not far from Hui Street, so you can go for a stroll and eat at night.

After unloading my luggage, I went nearby to have a Lanzhou ramen meal for lunch. Lanzhou ramen here have more food types than Guangzhou, and there are many snacks with northern characteristics. In addition to ramen, we also ordered egg milk and distiller's grains. The taste is very good, sweet and not greasy.

After a big meal, set off for the first attraction-Xi'an Ming City Wall! There are several gates in the city wall. The visitor center located at the entrance and exit can be postmarked for free. The style is basically the name of the gate, such as Vermilion Bird.

After climbing the city wall, I have to say that although it has been repaired, the profound sense of history that belongs to a historic site is still very strong. It is wide and long and majestic.

Especially at dusk, the sun slowly sets, the red lanterns on the city wall light up, the light and shadow sway, the noise of tourists gradually dissipates, and the entire city wall suddenly becomes quiet and solemn. Under the city wall are thousands of lights and heavy traffic. At that moment, I feel that the city wall is like a king who has experienced many vicissitudes standing quietly there, always guarding the city...

Of course, as the title says, although the scenery is beautiful, it cannot be measured with your feet alone. The best way to tour the city wall is several kilometers long is to rent a bicycle and slowly circle the city.

There are several bicycle rental spots on the city wall, both for single and double persons. Just by walking, you will be as down and down as we are: as night falls, the heights above the city wall are cold, shivering in the cold wind, pressing the warm baby and slowly moving forward. In the end, after only a short walk, jio slipped out.

After coming out of the city wall, I was cold and hungry, so I decided to go to Hui Street to find food. This is equivalent to a gourmet check-in street. There are various classic snacks in Xi'an: roujiamo, paomo, Zhen cake, and must-have barbecues in the night market, etc.

The price is not expensive. The portions such as steamed buns are super large, and the meat is thick and large. The Internet celebrity drink Ice Peak is a bit like Jianlibao in Guangzhou, but the yogurt that is everywhere on the street is average. It's quite fun to eat while walking all the way down the road, but the smell of barbecue smoke is really strong, and the entire person smells like smoke smoke when walking. There was also a small courtyard where you could listen to Qin Opera, but it was already past the time to listen to the music at night, which was a pity.

Dream of returning to Tang Dynasty the next day? Qin Shimingue jQuery17107726680933141654_1586593097349

Today is all suburban itineraries: Huaqing Pool and Terracotta Warriors. To get to these two places from the city center, you usually go to Xi'an Railway Station and take a regular bus [Tour 5]. This bus will pass through Huaqing Pool and then reach the Terracotta Warriors.

On the way to the railway station, people have been chatting up and asking if they are going to the Terracotta Warriors. You can take their cars, they are all pheasant cars, and they will even hang up the bus sign to disguise the bus. Don't pay attention to it and resolutely go to the station and take a regular bus. Even after entering the station, people would still hit on the way to find a pick-up point, saying that they had a You5 bus. Don't believe it! If you need to ask someone, there is a visitor center at the station. You can go and ask the staff. Don't trust people who pick up on the roadside.

After successfully finding You5 and getting on the bus, the ticket sales boy on the bus kept reminding him not to take a pheasant bus in addition to collecting money (the ticket was not expensive, 7 yuan), and also talked about matters to pay attention to the attractions, such as how to go straight to the ticket office after the Terracotta Warriors arrive at the station., ignore words like collecting money once in a pit. In short, you need to be refreshed all the way to Huaqing Pool and the Terracotta Warriors.

After arriving at Huaqing Pool, we decided to ask someone to explain. These cultural relics alone couldn't tell anything, just a bunch of hot spring pits. However, there was an explanation on the ancient class problems reflected in the system specifications of different hot spring pools. Or the legends behind them. It was quite interesting and it was not a waste trip.

The explanation fee is about 100 yuan. After buying the ticket, a guide (unofficial, but with a tour guide pass) asked us at the entrance if we needed an explanation. After understanding the price and content, we asked for it directly. Later, it was discovered that there were also official guides in the scenic area, with uniform uniforms. However, when there were many people, they could not be invited. They were invited on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the free explanation we invited was also very comprehensive (later compared with the explanation route of the official guide), which was quite reliable.

Huaqing Pool is a hot spring palace. Although most of the ground buildings were later rebuilt, the garden scenery is not bad.

This small pool was used by Imperial Concubine Yang. The ancient class system was strict. No matter how much Tang Xuanzong liked her and built her own pool, the specifications should not be large or exceed the system. {data:{has_more:true,html:

The pool below, which is several times larger, belongs to Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty.

This pool is used for surfing. One side of the pool has a square straight corner, and the other side is curved. When the water passes by, it will form a wave effect

This pavilion is said to be used for Imperial Consort Yang to dry her hair. The pavilion is built higher, so maybe the wind will be stronger?

There are also displays of Chiang Kai-shek's residence and some traces of gun battles during the Xi'an Incident.

Huaqing Pool and Lishan Scenic Area are connected. There is a cable car in the scenic area that can directly reach Lishan Mountain. There are also beacon towers ruins on Lishan Mountain. However, because I didn't grasp the time well, I didn't go up. It was a pity.

If you want to visit Huaqing Pool, Mount Li and Terracotta Warriors in one day, you really have to set off early and reserve more time to go up and down the mountain. Although the cable car is fast, it is still a long way to go from the highest beacon tower.

In addition, there are water song and dance performances related to the theme of Eternal Regret in the Huaqing Pool Scenic Area at night. If you are interested, you can pay attention to buying tickets in advance.

After visiting Huaqing Pool, you can continue to take Tour 5 to reach the Terracotta Warriors Scenic Area. After eating special pasta such as oil-sprinkled noodles at a roadside restaurant, you will enter the scenic area. Xi'an's pasta is very delicious, with large portions, rich meat and strong flavor.

After checking in, I asked for an official explanation directly at the visitor center. However, even the official explanation here may end up bringing some jade shopping spots or recommending other difficult attractions. Don't believe it, we almost went to a meaningless fake attraction (I don't know what happened now, but when we went there, there were many fake terracotta warriors and horses in Xi'an, so be careful). Fortunately, I checked the reviews online on the site.

Although I had seen many pictures of Terracotta Warriors on the Internet before coming here, it was still very shocking to see the scene. The scale, quantity and quality were amazing!

Terracotta warriors in different postures and costumes represent different classes of soldiers, and the difficulty of making them is different.

After shopping, we took a bus back to the city and chose to eat Japanese food. People in every place have their own eating habits. As Cantonese, they are really accustomed to having green vegetables every day (the whole plate is full of vegetables). Most of the meat here is meat. Although the meat is abundant and delicious, it is really uncomfortable to keep eating meat and not eat vegetables. I order a salad first at a Japanese food store without hesitation, which is satisfying.

After eating and drinking, I finally passed the Bell and Drum Tower when I returned to my B & B. In the night, there was an endless stream of vehicles and pedestrians. Around the Bell and Drum Tower, ancient buildings and modern fashion were wonderfully blended together. This intersection of ancient and modern times was probably the charm of Xi'an.

The third day of Huashan Sword Discussion

The task today is difficult, because we plan to climb Huashan! Huashan has always been famous for its dangers and excellent scenery, so we decisively gave up taking a cable car and decided to climb it step by step.

Starting from downtown Xi'an to Huashan, you can take the high-speed rail directly to the north of Huashan. What was more tragic was that we failed to get up and missed the high-speed train. After a series of operations such as changing our tickets incorrectly, repurchasing tickets and buying tickets again, and sprinting 800 meters in the station, we had become half a salted fish.

After the high-speed train arrives at the station, there is still a long way to the entrance of Huashan, so you can take a taxi. However, you should note that there are too many black cars here. Even regular taxis often don't use the meter. Before getting on the bus, you must explain the price clearly, which costs about 20 yuan.

Huashan Mountain has middle peaks in the east, west, north and south? There are cable cars in both the North Peak and the West Peak. If you walk, you usually climb up on the North Peak. The climbing time is about 4-6 hours.

After reaching the north peak, there are also many attractions on the way to other peaks. The highest peak is the south peak, and the east peak is suitable for watching the sunrise and challenging projects such as plank road. It can be said that after reaching the top of the North Peak, it will take about two or three hours to visit the top of the five peaks. However, the cable car usually operates down the mountain until 5 p.m., and if there are many people, you may have to queue up. And after winter enters, the cable car in Xifeng may stop operating, and the cable car in North Peak may only be chosen to go up and down the mountain.

So if you want to visit the five peaks of Huashan on foot, you must get up early and climb the mountain, or simply stay on the mountain for one night.

The roads at first were relatively gentle, and there would be commissaries selling hiking equipment and snacks every once in a while. The most popular foods in autumn and winter are instant noodles and hot red bulls. I have to say that eating in this environment is particularly delicious. A box of instant noodles costs 10-15 yuan, and Red Bull is about the same price. The more you go to the top of the mountain, the more expensive it becomes.

What's interesting is that there are many cats in the canteen at the foot of the mountain. They will act coquettishly and ask tourists to get food. I didn't expect that I could also rub the cats hard in Huashan. I'm happy ~

The scenery along the way is unique. Although it is autumn and winter, when the leaves fall and the branches are withered, it actually has a simple and natural beauty. There are not many tourists, and sometimes we are the only ones on the whole road, enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the mountains.

The higher you climb, the steeper you get, and the mountain peak is as sharp as a knife. A weak chicken like me who doesn't exercise usually has to take a break after climbing ten steps. As the ladder approaches 70°, the chains on both sides must be pulled. It looked a little scary, but actually getting up was not afraid, and it was easier than imagined.

After climbing all the way, panting all the way, relying on a few cans of Red Bulls to get chicken blood, it took 6 hours (I sat and rested all the way to the canteen), and finally successfully reached the top.

When you reach the top of the mountain, you can see the small mountains and see the best portrayal of the top. The mountain peak stands high into the clouds, and the strong wind blows past. Looking at the clouds rolling in the distance and the people living in the city below, I admire the miraculous craftsmanship of nature from the bottom of my heart.

A must-check place for fans of Jin Yong's novels--Huashan Discussion on Sword

Flying snow shoots at white deer in the sky, and the smiling hero leans on the green jade.

Swoosh, woosh...

From the North Peak to the other peaks... we chose to give up miserably. After 6 hours of climbing the ladder, we were really exhausted, and our legs were as heavy as lead. Moreover, it is already past 4 o'clock, and I have to go down the mountain before the cable car stops operating...

Looking at the beautiful scenery in the distance, I could only stretch out my Erkang hand and firmly make a promise in my heart: I will come back in the future! Next time, I will take the cable car and come up!~~

If you like natural mountains and rivers and are not afraid of climbing, Huashan is really, very worth climbing! All the way! My mood is picturesque with a casual pat.

Patients who are afraid of heights may not be able to bear the cable car in Huashan. Outside the window are a cliff. If you are not afraid, you can have a good view. The speed is very fast, it takes 20 minutes, and then I have to transfer to the shuttle bus to get down the mountain. This journey is fierce! Old driver! Drive quickly around the winding mountain road all the way, without slowing down when turning corners! But it was really stable. Even my friend who was prone to motion sickness felt stable, but he didn't.

Day 4: Traveling through the Qin, Han, Tang and Song Dynasties-One Day Tour to the Museum

A must-visit museum when you come to Xi'an! Today, we will visit the Little Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an Museum and Shaanxi History Museum. Please explain the museum itinerary suggestions, otherwise we will just take a look and take a look.

The Little Wild Goose Pagoda is not all open and cannot be climbed up. However, this Tang Dynasty brick and stone pagoda has been baptized by years. It is simple and elegant, surrounded by lush green wood, and is leisurely and unfashionable.

Ginkgo trees are also planted in the garden. When the golden apricot leaves are fluttering and falling, the bell in the courtyard just rings, and the lingering sound is distant. For thousands of years, the ancient tower has been isolated. Has it always been accompanied by the bell? Spring passes and autumn comes, the cycle of fallen leaves and bells is the most ordinary and beautiful scene.

The Xi'an Museum contains topographic maps of Xi'an dynasties and many exquisite collections. However, due to the hardships suffered by my legs in Huashan the day before, I couldn't concentrate while looking for chairs while visiting the Xi'an Museum. It was so sour...

But what was surprising was that after half a day of hard walking with sore legs and shaking legs, he was fine in the afternoon and continued to sprint in the Shaanxi History Museum to see cultural relics. It seems that the best response to the sequelae of mountain climbing is to endure the pain and continue to run the next day. After walking for a long time, the pain will be relieved. The pain will no longer be sore in the next few days, unlike the past when climbing a mountain for several consecutive days. Of course, it is also very important to soak your feet in hot water at night to get tired.

On the way to the Shaanxi History Museum, I didn't often see ginkgo trees, and once again lamented: Golden ginkgo trees are so beautiful ~

Be sure to arrive early to visit the Shaanxi History Museum. Otherwise, if you encounter many people, you will have to wait for an hour to queue up at the door to get your ticket and enter the door...

There is no doubt that there is no need to talk about the exquisiteness, precious historical value of the collections in the museum. They are mainly cultural relics of the Qin, Han, Tang, Song and Four Dynasties. There are official tour guides in the museum. It costs 100 yuan and can bring up to 10 people. If you like cultural relics, you can stay more time here and spend a day shopping without stress.

There is a mailbox at the exit of the Shaanxi History Museum. You can send postcards. Just stick the Xi'an themed sticker you bought before and send it ~

After visiting the museum, I quickly rushed to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area. Unfortunately, it was closed and I couldn't get in, but I could see the tower body on the outside. After that, we went to the square in front of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and waited for a musical fountain performance.

With the Big Wild Goose Pagoda as the background, the fountain changes its form and style with the music. It is sometimes beautiful and sometimes majestic. It is worth a visit.

After watching the fountain performance, go to the "Chang 'an Food Stall" for dinner. The menu is mainly Xi'an local cuisine. I ordered gourd chicken, Zhen cake, etc. The portions are quite large. Zhen cake is made of glutinous rice and can also be used as a staple food. It tastes good.

After returning to the B & B, I continued to do the homework I had to do every night-writing postcards. My friends were all film friends, and I wrote dozens of postcards every time I traveled. It was also amazing...

While writing, I took out the small persimmon and pomegranate I bought near the Terracotta Warriors Scenic Area two days ago. I heard others say that these two were specialties here, but I don't know if they were not ripe enough, but the small persimmon was too astringent.

Day 5: Chang 'an jQuery17109275824845037082_1586593785639

Today's tasks are very heavy: Daming Palace, Qujiang Pool and Tang Dynasty Furong Garden are all major attractions, and each takes two to three hours to make a separate detour.

Daming Palace National Heritage Park = foundation site + small museum + park. The Daming Palace was the main palace of the Tang Dynasty, and its area was four or five times the size of the present Forbidden City. Now there are only some foundations left and no buildings, but the overall area of the park is still very large and it is time-consuming to walk alone.

You can buy a set ticket, including tickets, sightseeing buses between the attractions, and a ticket for a Daming Palace themed movie. However, it was a pity that I didn't go to the movies because I had to catch up with the designated volunteer explanation in the museum.

Below is the foundation site of Gongmen Danfeng Gate.

Below is the foundation site of Hanyuan Hall, which was the first main hall of the previous dynasty of Daming Palace. Looking at the palace gate from here, there is a huge square in the middle. You can imagine the vast scene of everyone slowly walking from the palace gate to the main hall to pay homage to the emperor when the court came to court. Although the palace is no longer there, you can still feel the momentum of the dynasty back then through this distance.

As for the museum, the collections inside are also quite good-looking, and volunteers will explain them regularly.

Among them is a picture of the four seasons of Daming Palace. Some palace people are playing polo and some are playing by the lake. The picture is as dynamic as a video and is very interesting.

There is also a model of the Daming Palace in the ruins park, which is very large and allows people to walk in it to take a closer look. There are all kinds of pavilions and pavilions inside, as well as architectural models similar to the watchtower in "Chang 'an Twelve Hours".

The most amazing thing is that after bypassing Taiye Pool, I also saw a large piece of pink net red grass.

After leaving the park from the Xuanwu Gate Ruins, we took a taxi directly to have lunch and chose "Meet Chang 'an" to eat Chang' an cuisine. The restaurant was decorated with antique customs and the food tasted good. Since we were rushing to the next attraction to eat as quickly as possible, we didn't take much photos. I recommend osmanthus cold cake. It is sweet and soft and glutinous. I fell in love with it.

After eating, go straight to Qujiangchi. Qujiangchi Park is also very large. There are bicycle rental services and tandem cars. Since I don't know how to ride, I rely on my friends to take me all the way. If I ride a bike, I can go shopping in about 40 minutes.

Qujiangchi was recommended by a friend in Xi'an, but maybe the season we came here is not the right one. There is not much scenery and it looks like an ordinary park.

At night, go to the Tang Furong Garden to watch the night view. The Tang Furong Garden is quite close to the Qujiang Pool, and it is ten minutes 'walk.

The Tang Dynasty Furong Garden was rebuilt after the royal gardens of the Tang Dynasty. It is a royal garden-style cultural theme park that displays the style of the Tang Dynasty. There were basically no people at night. The lights were on at first, and all Tang style buildings were decorated with lights. Looking from a distance, they had a prosperous and beautiful charm. I wonder what the night scene of the Tang Dynasty, especially the Shangyuan Festival, was like to watch the Lantern Festival?

There is a small exhibition hall inside, with some Tang Dynasty costumes placed.

It was getting colder and colder at night, so we took a quick stroll (actually it took more than an hour) and came out. I went to eat Xinjiang food for dinner. The large plate of chicken was a lot, and Xinjiang-style yogurt was also good. I satisfied myself.

Day 6: History in the inscription

Today is the last day of traveling in Xi'an. In the morning, there is only one attraction-the Forest of Steles Museum. This was also recommended by friends in Xi'an. After visiting it, I will call it with heart! It's so worth it! And you can get discounts if you hold tickets for other attractions in Xi'an (such as Terracotta Warriors).

As the name suggests, it mainly displays some famous calligraphy inscriptions, tombstones, tomb culture, etc. It is highly recommended to invite official explanations in the museum, otherwise it will be really difficult to understand... With explanations, you can deeply understand the content, calligraphy, background stories and historical value on the inscriptions, and each monument will become interesting. When we first started shopping, we didn't ask for an explanation. We were really not culturally cultivated. We looked confused throughout the process and didn't understand what was visible.

For example, the inscription in the forest of steles in the picture below lacks the above point. It is not a writing error, but to make the words more regular in appearance. It is a calligraphy pursuit.

The inscriptions here all have great origins. Tang Xuanzong, Wang Xizhi, Su Dongpo and other people who are almost familiar with the Tang and Song Dynasties have inscriptions here.

I remember that one of them is still a legendary piece of gold. It is engraved with Buddhist content, but it uses Wang Xizhi's calligraphy. In order to complete this masterpiece, we tried hard to collect Wang Xizhi's words. Everything that was missing was purchased by the people at a high price. In the end, we really couldn't find it, so we made up the words one stroke at a time.

There are also some inscriptions in the forest of steles that will be traced and put on paper by someone on site. They can be bought home as a souvenir.

The forest of steles also displays the Six Horses of Zhaoling of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty. The sculptures are the six horses that Emperor Taizong rode when he was fighting mountains and rivers and galloping on the battlefield. They are national treasure cultural relics.

What is annoying is that they were sold abroad by cultural relics dealers back then. There are still two in foreign museums, and there are only four in the forest of steles. Moreover, in order to successfully transport them out, the cultural relics dealers even cut the sculpture into pieces, which is really resentful and sad!

The inscriptions in the forest of steles are very interesting. If you are interested in calligraphy and literature, you must not miss this place!

After visiting the Forest of Steles, I went to the "Xibei Oat Noodle Village" for lunch and flew back to Guangzhou ~(The taste is similar to Guangzhou's Xibei, but I think the mutton here is bigger? The meat seems to be better?)

Although this trip to Xi'an has a dense schedule and everyone who wants to visit is serious, Xi'an's charm does not stop there. I want to come again in the future and visit Xi'an for the second time!
