Xi'an is probably a city that will not be tired of many times. Every time I come here, I feel his differences, but what remains the same is his rich history and culture. As the ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties, Xi'an also has many ways to play. This time we were driving a RV around Xi'an. Visiting this ancient city in the most popular way was another feeling.
Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang
For Xi'an, a popular tourist city, planning this self-driving tour took a lot of thought. The trip was specially arranged after the National Day to avoid the flow of people and reduce the risk of the epidemic. By the way, I searched for places I hadn't experienced well before. Before setting out, I felt an inexplicable excitement, an excitement that I was about to gain new insights.
In front of Cien Temple in Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square. The gate of Dacien Temple is facing the South Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Not far away, there is a bronze statue of Master Xuanzang. I heard from locals that every spring comes, various kites will fly up on the South Square. It is very lively. Coupled with the ginkgo trees planted on the edge of the square, when autumn comes, the semi-fan-shaped ginkgo leaves fall slowly, giving you a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery.
Tang Dynasty Furong Garden-a cultural park imitating the imperial garden of the Tang Dynasty.
The Wild Goose Pagoda stands tall on the earth, and the water is drinking at the tip of the Qujiang River.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located in Dacien Temple on the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, also known as the "Cien Temple Pagoda". The earliest and largest existing brick pagoda of the Tang Dynasty's square pavilions is also a landmark building formed when Buddhism was introduced to the Central Plains. In the third year of Yonghui of the Tang Dynasty, Xuanzang presided over the construction of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to preserve the Buddhist scroll Buddha statues brought back to Chang 'an from Tianzhu via the Silk Road. It had five floors at first, and was later built to nine floors. Then the number and height were changed several times. Finally, it was fixed to the seven-story tower body we see today. In 2014, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was successfully included in the World Heritage List.

The square pavilions type tower with a brick imitation wood structure consists of three parts: the tower base, the tower body and the tower brake. The entire tower is more than 60 meters high and has a square cone shape. At the same time, there are coupons on all sides of each floor. When you go up through the stairs inside the tower, you can see the scene of the Tang Dynasty Sleepless City not far away through the ticket gate.
In addition to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Dacien Temple can also see bustling people coming and going here to buy incense.
In the middle of the third floor of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, there is a model of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda containing Buddha relics. However, this relic was not left behind after the cremation of Master Xuanzang, but was donated by Master Shi Wuqian, the abbot of Xuanzang Temple in India and an Indian overseas Chinese monk in 1998. On the same day, he took out a red paper bag with the four golden words "One Mount Buddha Treasure" and a lotus pattern printed on it. It contained two precious Buddha relics and presented them to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which belonged to the One Mount Buddha Treasure. It can be regarded as a regret to make up for the mystery of the loss of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda relics.
This time we chose to drive ourselves by RV. As RVs become more and more popular, more and more RV camps are blooming everywhere. RV travel is becoming more and more convenient. Open the door and you will see the scenery. Life in the scenery should not be too comfortable. In Xi'an, Seoul Lake Camp is a very mature RV camp. It can provide water here, and you can see the scenery by opening the door. It is the best thing to support the shed next to the RV at night, grill kebabs with three or five friends, and spend a pleasant weekend chatting.
Three people can sleep in the RV, one on the driver's seat, and two more behind ~
Dream back to the prosperous land of the Tang Dynasty and see all Chang 'an flowers in one day.
Datang Furong Garden is located in Qujiang Development Zone, south of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, southeast of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It was north of the original Tang Dynasty Furong Garden site and was rebuilt in imitation of the Tang Dynasty royal garden. It is the first large-scale royal garden-style cultural park in China to comprehensively display the style of the Tang Dynasty. There are many antique buildings built inside, such as Ziyun Tower, Lady Hall, Royal Banquet Palace, Apricot Garden, Fanglin Garden, Fengming Jiutian Theater, and Tangshi. There are also some performance program arrangements on it, which can be viewed according to the map time. Personally, I think that the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden will be more beautiful and more prosperous at night. It will not be as lively as the Tang Dynasty Sleepless City, but will have more elegant luxury and atmosphere, and the photo effect will be better. It is recommended to come in the evening. Come here and dream of returning to the Tang Dynasty. What regret is your life?
I should have worn Hanfu, but I regret it. Next time I will definitely come here to take photos in Hanfu! It feels great!
Blue sky, green trees and water, and gray sightseeing boats, with a film-like oil painting flavor, suddenly realized that I might really fall in love with the city of Xi'an.
Ziyun Tower is a landmark building representative of the whole park, demonstrating the imperial demeanor of the Tang Dynasty that "the shape and spirit rise into the purple clouds, and the world obeys the heart of the emperor." In the Ziyun Building in history, Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty would climb this building every time the Qujiang Conference to enjoy singing and dancing, and give banquets to his ministers and enjoy fun with the people. The Ziyun Building, now built in imitation of ancient books, is located in the center of the park. It is majestic and is one of the most important imitation Tang buildings in the park. There is a Ruyi Copper Tower Throwing Game on the fourth floor. Recommended, all the babies who come here should play it for me!
The long-cherished water show performance was held on the lake in front of the Guanlan Station of Ziyun Building. The water show performance includes water curtain movies, music fountains, laser flames, mines and water mist, etc. Among them, the water curtain movie is the largest water curtain in the world. With laser assistance, it combines music and fountains to create various varied special effects of flames, mines and water mist, thus forming a unique water show that integrates sound, light, electricity and water fire. It is said that after the water curtain movie, there will be a dragon and steel flower performance. Don't be like me and leave the park foolishly.
Eight hundred miles of Qinchuan materializes Tianbao, with a history of five thousand years.
Shaanxi History Museum, China's first large-scale modern national-level museum and the first batch of "AAAA"-level tourist attractions, is known as the "Pearl of the Ancient Capital and the Treasure House of China." It is very close to the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which takes more than ten minutes on foot. There is a Zhangji Roujiamo shop on Ziwu Road near the museum. It is very good. It was recommended by a friend. I have visited the shop before and think it is quite good. When I was tired from visiting the museum, I walked two steps away to buy a roujiamo and match it with an ice peak. It was really "what?"

Heading west all the way to Tongguan Road, still surrounded by Qin Shi Huang.
The Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang and the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Pit are located in Lintong, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is known as "one of the Eight Wonders of the World."
The Terracotta Warriors Pit is located on the east side of the Mausoleum of the Qin Dynasty. It is a large burial pit of the Qin Mausoleum. Four pits have been excavated, and a large number of pottery painted terracotta warriors and horses of the same size as real horses and various weapons used in actual combat at that time are buried in the pits. As many as 10,000 cultural relics have been unearthed. In 1987, it was approved by UNESCO to be included in the World Cultural Heritage List. In 2007, the Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi'an City was approved as a national 5A tourist attraction. The arched exhibition hall built on the No. 1 Terracotta Warriors Pit site has established the "Terracotta Warriors Museum of the First Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum", which is open to tourists from home and abroad. The place where our group went for sightseeing was the No. 1 crater.

Photo guide: The Terracotta Warriors have a total of three pits and a chariot museum. The environment inside is generally dim and there are many people, so don't think about taking good photos of yourself. It is also interesting to admire the Terracotta Warriors carefully in the museum and listen to the tour guide explain the history. The first picture was taken in front of a shop next to the Qin Shihuang Grand Theater after the appearance of the Terracotta Warriors. It is also the exit of the snack street.

Seeing the simulated military formation, we can think of the might and power of the Qin army, who swept through the six countries more than 2,000 years ago and unified the country. Tao servant is tall, generally about 1.8 meters. Maybe they were too far away. If I didn't check the information, I would have thought that these pottery figurines were only about 1.5 meters long.
The expression on each pottery figure's face is different. The costumes they wear are different in styles, hairstyles and belts are different. The shapes are realistic. Some hold bows and arrows, and some hold crossbows. It looks like they are waiting to set out. The pottery figurines team is well-lined, fully equipped, majestic and majestic. Even though they were so far away, they still felt a murderous aura.
Legend has it that in order to prevent theft, Qin Shihuang had hidden arrows in his tomb. The curved top of the tomb chamber is decorated with gems and pearls, symbolizing the celestial bodies and stars; below is the geographical situation of rivers, five mountains and nine states. Mercury is infused with machinery, symbolizing the endless flow of rivers and seas, with gold pheasants floating on them; inside the tomb chamber, a "ever-burning lamp" made of whale oil is lit. A huge terracotta warriors array was arranged around the tomb. Friends who have read "Dumb House" should have read this similar description. So far, the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang has not been completely excavated, and current technology is not enough to protect these cultural relics intact. We look forward to seeing more relics in the near future.
The terracotta warriors are mostly made by molding and combining methods. The preliminary body is first made with a pottery mold, and then covered with a layer of fine mud for processing, carving and coloring. Some are fired first and then connected, and some are fired first and then. The fire is even, the color is simple, and the hardness is very high.
In 1978, former French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac said after a visit: "There are seven miracles in the world. The discovery of the Qin terracotta warriors can be said to be the eight miracles. If you don't look at the pyramids, you don't count Egypt. If you don't look at the Qin terracotta warriors, you don't count China." Since then, the Qin terracotta warriors have been praised as the eighth wonder of the world."
If the pyramids of ancient Egypt were the largest above-ground royal mausoleum in the world, then the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang in China was the largest underground imperial mausoleum in the world.
Give me one day and I'll pay you back ten thousand years. Next time, we will arrange a few more days to experience this cultural city. On the one hand, our generation is happy. We still have the opportunity to come into contact with cultural relics left behind thousands of years ago. As time goes by, what we can feel now, the opportunity for future generations to come into contact with specific images will only decrease. This self-driving time, this inexplicable sense of sadness suddenly surged into my heart. Although the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden is very much liked, it is an imitation of architecture. If the original building no longer exists, the flavor of the city will no longer exist. I remember that there were wind chimes in the four corners of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the past, but this time I returned to Chang 'an, but I found that there were no more. I don't know why, but if you look carefully from the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, you can see that the Big Wild Goose Pagoda has tilted a little to the right. I heard that it was caused by over-exploitation of groundwater that caused the surface to tilt. Historical Chang 'an, looking at Xi'an today, I only wish to feel the profound sense of cultural history in Xi'an to become stronger rather than more impetuous.
