The first travel note is written to Xi'an.

Since I started reciting Tang poems in school, I have seen Chang 'an in many poems. I was proud of my horse's hooves and I saw all Chang' an flowers in a day. The poor imagination at that time could never imagine what kind of picture the Tang Dynasty was like in the prosperous times. How prosperous Chang 'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty, would be? Recently, in 17 years, Chen Kaige's Legend of the Demon Cat was released. The atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty was vividly interpreted, and Xi'an, the ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties, became a little more yearning.

then let's go

I started to enter a state of water reflux in April. I didn't want to do anything, and nothing I did worked. The procrastination reached the point where both man and god were angry. In May, it was not relieved at all. Sometimes I felt like I was just a piece of trash. After thinking about it, I would just go out for a walk. Just consider it an escape. If I can escape for a short time, I would take a vacation, book a flight ticket and hotel, and set off.

This was when the plane was descending and was probably about to land at Xianyang Airport. At that time, I lamented that the terrain was flat and neat. I had never seen such a terrain before, so I took a photo.

After departing from Shenzhen Bao 'an Airport, it took less than 3 hours to arrive at Xi'an Xianyang Airport. The moment I got off the plane, I silently shouted in my heart: Xi'an, I finally see you.

DAY1: Shaanxi History Museum-Bell and Drum Tower

Shaanxi Expo:

The land of Sanqin is one of the important areas where the Chinese nation lived and multiplied and Chinese civilization was born and developed. Thirteen dynasties, including the most glorious Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties in Chinese history, once established their capitals here. Rich cultural relics and profound cultural accumulation have formed Shaanxi's unique historical and cultural features, known as the Pearl of the ancient capital. The Shaanxi History Museum, which is the treasure house of China, is an art hall displaying Shaanxi's history, culture and ancient Chinese civilization. The Shaanxi History Museum is located on the northwest side of Xi'an Dayan Pagoda. Established in 1983, it is China's first large-scale modern national-level museum, with a collection of more than 370000 cultural relics and a time span of more than 100 years. (Official statement)

I entered from the south gate of the Shaanxi Museum. The Shaanxi History Museum is closed on Monday and is open for free. You need to make an appointment in advance through official channels. The limit is limited every day. After making a successful appointment, you can collect tickets with valid certificates. Shaanxi Expo is divided into three major exhibition halls. Basically display ancient civilization in Shaanxi (you can visit with free tickets), relics of the Tang Dynasty (You need to purchase additional tickets for adults, 30 yuan) and Tang Tomb Murals (you need to purchase additional tickets for adults, 150 yuan for students). As a slum girl, she does not hesitate to choose to only watch the basic exhibition hall. If you are interested in murals, etc., you can buy tickets to visit, and you can feel free to have money. After all, you are willful.

The Basic Exhibition Hall was officially opened in March 2008. It is divided into three exhibition halls with a total of seven units, focusing on the process of the emergence and development of ancient civilization in Shaanxi and its dedication to Chinese civilization.

This is the Homo Apes Parting Unit, the Lantian Man 1.15 million years ago, and this is the female image among them.

It is rumored that the gilded gold and silver bamboo joints copper fumigation stove was given by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty to Princess Yangxin and her husband General Wei Qing. The entire fumigation stove is divided into three decorative areas, with a total of nine dragons decorated them. Nine was the highest symbol in ancient China and was a manifestation of imperial power. You can look at the picture and see if you can find these nine dragons.

Grape flower-and-bird silver sachet (in the "National Treasures" program, three pieces of precious cultural relics have become online treasures, namely the grape flower-and-bird silver sachet, Du Hufu and the Que Tower honor painting mural), the commentator said that this sachet No matter how the outer wall sphere rotates, due to the gravity of the ring and the gold spoon, the spoon can always maintain balance and the spices inside will not be scattered. This sachet is said to be the same as Imperial Consort Yang. At that time, An Lushan rebelled and Xuanzong and others fled Chang 'an. When they passed through Maweipo, they sentenced Imperial Consort Yang to death and buried here. Xuanzong later returned to Kyoto from Shu. Thinking of the old situation, he secretly ordered the burial to be changed. When the old tomb was dug up, it was found that the purple mattress used to wrap the body and the body had been decomposed. Only the fragrance sachet was still in good condition. Today, people sigh.

The three-color camel figurines carrying music are outstanding works during the Tang Dynasty. Unearthed in the tomb of Xianyu Tinghai, the right-wing general of Wei in the Tang Dynasty, it represents the social customs and superb artistic achievements of the Tang Dynasty.

Look at the little man on the left, does he look like Guo Degang? Hahaha ~

Tang Sancai, the guide little sister said that the one in the middle is called Tang Meili. The ancients also looked at the face. Only the most beautiful one deserves a name ~

Bell and Drum Tower Chapter:

In ancient times, the bell was struck to announce morning and the drum was beat to announce dusk, so it was called the morning bell and dusk drum. Xi'an Bell Tower is the collective name of Xi'an Bell Tower and Xi'an Drum Tower. It is located in the center of Xi'an City and is a landmark building in Xi'an. The two Ming Dynasty buildings echoed each other from a distance and were spectacular. I went to the Bell Tower Tower to watch it at night. In the brightly lit downtown center, the Bell and Drum Tower seemed to be extinct and independent.

Two plaques were once hung under the north and south eaves of the Drum Tower, where civil and military affairs were held in the south, and the north, where the sound was heard in the sky. The plaques were 8 meters long and 3.6 meters wide, and were wooden plaques with gold characters on a blue background. The two sets of eight characters are both gold and convex characters that are the best in history. I took a photo of the Drum Tower from under the south eaves, and the north eaves near Huimin Street is hung with a plaque that can be heard in the sky. It is said that during the 'period, two giant plaques were taken off, cut off and burned to pieces. After several years of unremitting efforts, these two plaques were restored and re-hung on April 29, 2005.

The pedestrian street under the Drum Tower is bustling at night.

In order to make it easier to get to the Bell and Drum Tower at night, I found a B & B nearby. The Sky Garden is very much to my liking. Looking around, I can see the scenery of the ancient city of Xi'an.

At night, it is very comfortable to turn on the string lights in front of the window and sit on a rattan chair to blow the wind.

Cherries can really be seen everywhere, cheap and sweet, and they are very cute when patted at them.

The first meal I arrived in Xi'an was served downstairs at Zhiliang steamed dumplings on Guangji Street. My favorite is this bowl of hawthorn eight-treasure porridge. It is sweet and sour, and it is very appetizing. I am not used to sesame sauce cold noodles. Steamed dumplings are very fragrant, and ice peaks are indispensable.

It is said that they are from an Internet celebrity shop. The steamed buns are filled with salted egg yolks, fried eggs and rose pickles. Except for the steamed buns being a little hard, those who like salted egg yolks must try this. It has a rich taste.

Rose Mirror Cake has a strong scent of roses, sweet and soft. Promise me that you will try it!

Lao Wang's cooking food seemed unimpressive, but in fact, um, it didn't suit my taste very much. The owner of the B & B ate two large bowls of rice alone. I was shocked. They were the kind of oversized bowls! The five of us ordered 6 dishes and a soup. My favorite soup was that soup. It was cooked with millet, eggs, and shredded corn. It was very sweet. It should be very comfortable to drink in winter. I silently added this to my menu.

DAY2 Terracotta Warriors and Horses at the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang-The City that Never Sleeps in the Tang Dynasty

Terracotta Warriors:

There is no need to introduce the Terracotta Warriors of the Qin Mausoleum, one of the eighth wonders of the world. People say that they don't look at the pyramids, they don't look at Egypt, they don't look at the Qin terracotta Warriors, and they don't look at China.

The location of the scenic spots is relatively remote. In Lintong District, Xi'an, if you take a bus, you can transfer to the railway station, or you can book a round-trip bus ride on Ctrip and others. The picture shows the check-in gate.

There are a total of three burial pits in the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang. This is Pit No. 1. Under the sun, only this picture was taken.

Because there are so many people in the museum and the sounds are noisy and chaotic, in order to better listen to the guide's introduction, everyone will issue a headset. It has to be mentioned that the end of May is not the peak season for travel, and the number of visitors to the Qin Shihuang Mausoleum is far beyond my imagination. I followed the guide closely along the way, for fear that an accidental person would disappear. Moreover, there were too many people and the museum was hot, which seriously affected my visiting experience. Most of the time, I didn't have time to figure out where I was. The guide finished the speech in a hurry and headed to the next destination, perfectly interpreting the idiom "cursory".

A hastily photographed panoramic view of Pit 1

Before setting off, I heard that Qin Shihuang himself had double eyelids, and thought that the people with double eyelids were very scheming, so all the terracotta warriors had single eyelids. However, time was too fast and my eyesight prevented me from seeing clearly whether these big brothers had single eyelids.

If I remember correctly, this is Pit No. 2 of the burial pit. Don't ask me what I saw, I don't even know it myself (cover my face)

Tang Dynasty Sleepless City:

Tang Dynasty Sleepless City is a project with Tang Dynasty culture as the background and Tang style elements as the main line. Strictly speaking, it is a place for consumption and shopping. It does not have very distinctive Xi'an characteristics, but it is indeed a good place to come and take a walk at night., with music fountains and giant dramas.

Xi'an Art Museum looks particularly eye-catching in the night

A piece of fire tree silver

At the end of Cultural Street

The night in a city always seems to be particularly pyrotechnic, with the passing crowds and vehicles, and the colorful lights. I remember when I stood at this intersection, I had the illusion that I was living in this city.

I handed out my small milk cake while waiting for a waiting table. It tasted good. Because the store here is huge, the ranking is very fast

I thought too much and couldn't choose

Picture 2 gourd chicken is a specialty, but in my opinion, it is just a fried chicken. There is no big surprise. However, Picture 5 's noodles with minced meat, Picture 5 's sweet wine ice cream, and the pot of peach blossom wine are highly recommended!

DAY3 Big Wild Goose Pagoda-Xi'an Dadu Hui-Huimin Street

On the third day, I finally got up early, left the house around 10:30, and had my first breakfast in Xi'an, mutton steamed buns!

Looking at the unpretentious bowl of steamed buns, the taste is really amazing. It's delicious!!!

The girl who was seriously posing for a bun broke, heard that the bun she broke was more delicious. Let alone, I don't know if it tasted good after breaking it herself. It was really difficult to break it ~~

Big Wild Goose Pagoda Chapter:

An adult ticket is 40 yuan, and there is a guide at the gate of the scenic area. I thought I didn't need it too much, so I didn't look for it.

Xuanzang Sanzang Courtyard in the scenic area

As the earliest and largest existing brick tower in the Tang Dynasty, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a typical physical evidence of the Buddhist pagoda, an architectural form of ancient Indian Buddhist temples, which was introduced into the Central Plains with Buddhism and integrated into Chinese culture. It is a reflection of the wisdom of the ancient Chinese working people. A landmark building.

The statue of Xuanzang at the south gate of Dacien Temple

When I went out, I still complained about the scary high temperature and dazzling sunshine in Xi'an. Unexpectedly, when I arrived at the corner of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, I planted big trees in a place with mottled light and shadow. It was really suitable for taking pictures.

When I was reading travel notes before leaving, I accidentally saw this iconic photo place, so I searched it and found that it was a shopping mall in Xi'an called Xi'an Dadu Hui. I didn't know where to eat for dinner, so I specially found it here. It was definitely suitable for checking in!

Shopping malls are full of pigs and pigs. They are all pig elements. I like them so much!

Xi'an Restaurant, the steamed meat in Figure 3 is very fragrant, and the snacks in Figure 4 are very unique. They seem to be called gold thread cake or something. Overall, they are well received.

Hui Street Chapter:

After dinner, I returned to my neighborhood. Walking through the Hui Street at night, there was a surge of people, one after another. Countless scents of food floated past the tip of my nose. Coupled with the constant cries of merchants, it was a lively and dazzling sight. Because I ate too much, I didn't eat anything at night. The following are some of the things I ate one after another through Hui Street.

oil sprinkled noodles

beef buns

The mutton in the basin that I want to eat most, I don't know why I didn't open the door several times. Unfortunately

The crispy meat is actually like our steamed pork with rice flour. I forgot to take pictures.

Barbecue, strictly speaking, this shop is near Guangji Street, and it is a shop that you will be attracted by passing by.

The store is always full. I wanted to go on a whim that day. It was a little past nine o'clock in the evening, and when I arrived, I only had barbecues, and everything else was gone. So in a fit of anger, I ordered 30 barbecues. The price was reasonable, one yuan each. The taste was quite good!

The milk liqueur from this Gantangli sweet shop is sweet and delicious.

Commonly known as Haagen Dazs in Shaanxi, I ordered four flavors: sesame paste cold rice noodles, cherry flavor, sweet wine flavor, black tea latte flavor. Sesame paste cold rice noodles are salty and spicy. They have a unique flavor. There is nothing else to remember. The whole thing is average.

This yogurt shouldn't be a specialty. It was just too hot at that time, so I couldn't help but buy one to relieve the heat. The taste was okay.

DAY4 Yongxing Square-Xi'an Jiaotong University

Yongxing Square Chapter:

Yongxingfang is located in Shuncheng Lane on the north side of Zhongshanmen in Xi'an City Wall. It covers an area of 15 acres. More than 1,400 years ago, Wei Zheng, a well-known remonstrant in Chinese history, lived here.

wrestling wine

This is the bowl that I broke, hahaha

To be honest, this bowl of wine doesn't taste very good, and the bowl is still a little small. I wanted to have a heroic one, but it turned out to be very timid.

This Tongguan Roujiamo is the best Roujiamo I have ever eaten in Xi'an. He deserves a name! His steamed buns are not a large piece of steamed buns that are well-layered and crispy. This meat, the high-quality lean meat I bought, costs 12 yuan each, and is not greasy at all. The aroma of meat that comes to my nostrils is really good!!

Shaanxi Wuzi long pancakes are a bit like rice skin with stuffing and pepper plates. Good!

On the way to find food, I accidentally encountered a performance by a children's folk art troupe, and I played Allegro so smoothly ~~~

After watching the performance, I bought a roast meat right away. Well, it smells so good!

This seems to be the North Gate

Four Great Invention Square

A bottle of yogurt I bought at random in the cafeteria. It's delicious!

DAY5 Xi'an City Wall

Xi'an City Wall, also known as Xi'an Ming City Wall, is the largest and most completely preserved ancient city wall in China.

I have to say that the tickets for Xi'an attractions are a bit harsh ~~, many tickets that I thought were free to visit were not cheap

I stayed in Xi'an for 5 days. I was exposed to the sun for the first four days. On the last day, when I went to the city wall, it rained. It was super cold and the wind was super strong, and I was shivering from the wind.

I went up from Yongning Gate, and there was a bicycle rental right up there. If it takes a long time to walk through the city wall, I can rent a bicycle. Considering that the weather is too cold and it won't take long to walk down, I didn't rent a bicycle either.

Little sign

Although my hair was blown apart, I still kept smiling and took a selfie.

The stronger the wind, the more turbulent my heart ~~~

The last photo taken before going down the city wall, although it was freezing, lingered on the city wall for two hours. I also saw many groups of primary school students wearing blue school uniforms coming to visit. At that time, I was thinking whether the children in Xi'an would understand history particularly well. After all, they grew up in such a culturally rich city since childhood.

written in the end

I have envied many people who have no effort to have what I couldn't get even with all my efforts. I have also complained to myself many times why it is so bad. I have been walking around for so many days in Xi'an. Finally, I want to reconcile with myself, see more people around me, think more about what I have, and then I can be dissatisfied with it.

The regret this time is that I didn't see the performance of the Song of Eternal Regret and I didn't go to Chenghuashan. If there is still a chance, I will make up for this regret next time. See you in Xi'an.
