Xi'an is the first ancient capital of China in my mind. I always have a special Chang' an plot for Xi'an.
Just after New Year's Day in 2021, I re-watched a TV series describing the prosperous times of Chang 'an. After watching it, I never felt that it was enough. That day, I said to pot A: "Why don't we go to Xi'an for a weekend?" Unexpectedly, Pot A readily agreed.
In this way, we embarked on this trip to Xi'an that we wanted to go. 2021 has just begun, and my heart is full of wishes and expectations. Of course, one of the blessings will be: Long live friendship!
Xi'an, together with Athens, Rome, and Cairo, is known as the world's four major ancient capitals. Each has thousands of years of history and culture. It is also one of the six major ancient civilizations of our country. If the history of civilization of the Chinese nation is compared to a wonderful historical drama, then half of this plot will be staged in Xi'an.
Xi'an's history is too thick and heavy, and Xi'an has too many scenic spots. Pot A and I chose a relatively niche route for our casual trip to Xi'an and wanted to see a different Chang' an City.
Traveling requires ease and freedom, so I like self-driving travel very much. The world is so big, you can't drive everywhere, but it doesn't matter, you can still rent a car. We chose Linkage Cloud Car Rental in Xi'an to pick up and return the car 24 hours a day without contact. What we rented was a Guanzhi SUV, with extraordinary appearance and large space, added a little pleasant atmosphere to our journey!
The itinerary is as follows:
[Day1 Huimin Street-Old Chenggen Gpark-Bushe Chang 'an Li B & B]
Go to Huimin Street first and stay in the third phase of Bushe Chang 'an Lane in Tuche Lane near Huimin Street that day. After leaving my luggage at the B & B, I picked up the car at the nearby Lianlian Cloud Car Rental Point. Go directly to the wood-style characteristic bookstore photographed by Gpark nearby ~
[Day2 Book of Songs-OCAT Xi'an Pavilion-Old Steel Plant Art District-Impression Nanhu B & B]
Early in the morning, first go to the Book of Songs to fly drones for aerial photography, then go to the OCAT Xi'an Pavilion to take a group of simple photos, and then take a group of industrial photos in the art area of the Old Steel Plant. On the same day, I stayed at Impression Nanhu B & B near Qujiang Heritage Park. At night, take a camera and take a walk to sweep the streets near Datang Furong Garden to take night pictures ~
[Day3 Shanghai Sanlian Bookstore-Starbucks-Shaanxi History Museum-Shaanxi Province Art Museum-Qinglong Temple-Xiao Ge B & B]
In the morning, go to Zhongda International's Sanlian Bookstore to take photos, and go to the first floor to take photos with the Xi'an niche "landmark" LOGO in Starbucks Zhenxuan. The Shaanxi Province Art Museum can take beautiful portraits, and taking photos at the dome of the museum has a sense of sight like a planetarium ~
[Day4 Xi'an World Expo Park-Returning the Car]
When you get up early to the Xi'an World Expo Park, flying drones to take photos is particularly beautiful, giving you a sense of seeing the sea. Then, find a nearby parking spot on the Linkage Cloud app.
Chang 'an, a city that once lived in people's minds like a dream. Hui Street, also known as "Huifang" by locals, is a food hall and a street with Muslim cultural atmosphere.
When I came to Xi'an, I first went to Hui Street, which was full of the flavor of old Xi'an. A bowl of Wuren Mahua Camellia oleifera and Roujiamo woke up early in the morning. When people slowly surged on the street, the surroundings were filled with the cries of small merchants and hawkers, the sound of children playing and fighting, and the uncle next door listened loudly to the radio. At that moment, all the sounds were poured into my mind. Happiness never came suddenly, nor was it overnight. I lost too much and just wanted to seize the moment.
This famous food and cultural district in Xi'an is full of food shops of all sizes and sizes. Affected by the epidemic, the current Hui Street is not as lively as when I was here before, but it is also full of the smell of fireworks from the world.
There are few cities like Xi'an. The city distribution is distinctive, square, and the streets and alleys are neat, like minefields. Even the commercial gathering places are no different from those in the Tang Dynasty. The names of the streets and alleys have a long history, and the names of the roads have no shortage of origins. As a representative of Xi'an customs, Huimin Street is not a street, but a collective name for multiple streets in the Huimin Street District. Beiyuanmen is the most famous place on Hui Street and the easiest street to find. Many shops here have become flagship brands.
The roads are paved with bluestone and shaded by trees. Many streets in the block have a strong Islamic style, and both sides of the road are decorated with buildings imitating the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Therefore, walking in the neighborhood, you can see shops that blend traditional Chinese architectural styles and Muslim architectural styles everywhere, as well as ethnic costumes, handicrafts, halal non-staple foods, restaurants and Hui snack bars.
On Hui Street, you can explore the most common and authentic life in Xi'an. This is not only a food street, but also an old neighborhood where many people lived in childhood. There is always an alley in our life that is not wide or luxurious, but there will always be delicious food you are used to and things you cannot forget.
A Guo and I were two foodies. We ate on Hui Street and talked about our respective food stories. She talked about her Changsha food, and I thought of my Taiyuan Food Street and the old military camp next to my home...
Old Chenggen Gpark Commercial District is located in Daxing New District, Xi'an. What I want to introduce to my family is a huge new cultural landmark here: Xi'an Fangsuo Chuanglian Center (Fangsuo Bookstore). Fangsuo Bookstore is a cultural brand that has once won the title of the world's best bookstore and the first bookstore in Asia to win this honor at the London Book Fair.
The name of the shop has a strong historical flavor. It refers to the "Selected Works" that Xiao Tong, a litterateur of the Liang Dynasty in the Southern Dynasties: "If it is made of gold and steel, it means that it is made of Xiang Ding and he has always lived there, and it will become a place." Mao Jihong, founder of Fangsuo Bookstore, named the word "Fangsuo", which has a clear meaning of this-he hopes that the bookstore can become a permanent place for people again. After careful design, Fangsuo Bookstore has become a new cultural space integrating bookstores, aesthetic life, coffee and exhibition space.
Xi'an Fangsuo Bookstore has a total area of nearly 5000 square meters. It is a single-family building. The bookstore accommodates more than 200,000 books and 35,000 relatively rare art books. There is a 5-meter-high circular book tower in the bookstore.
Fangsuo is not only a holy place for reading, but also a palace where architectural art and aesthetics gather. The entire building of Xi'an Fangsuo is amazing both inside and outside. Its facade is based on the ancient Chang' an military defense facility "Weng City" and the ancient Roman "Door Opening", presenting a very immersive experience. After entering the interior, you will find many recurring high arched porches and bucket-shaped ceilings, giving you the feeling of entering a temple of knowledge.
On the glass door of the studio is a message from the poet Yesi: "I hope to return to the era of more poetry readings: 'The hidden lyrical in the chorus with the wind needs another listening.'" Fangsuo is a place for pure souls created in the noisy world. It will always be open to every soul who loves reading and dwelling.
"The trees are green,
White dew becomes frost.
The so-called Yi people,
On the water side."
In this most beautiful Book of Songs, Xi'an lives the most beautiful town. In Fengdong, Xi'an, about an hour's drive from the urban area, there is a town themed of the Book of Songs, called the Book of Songs.
The town takes the culture of the Book of Songs as its soul, transforming all the scenery, folk customs, music, characters, etc. involved in this land mentioned in the Book of Songs into realistic landscapes and buildings, becoming a poetic paradise.
In the Zhou Dynasty, during the prosperous period of civilization in ancient Chinese history, the two capitals of Feng and Hao were both established on the bank of the Feng River, and the Book of Songs was later born here, so the bank of the Feng River was the place where the Book of Songs was born. This town has buildings and landscapes that correspond to the "Book of Songs", as well as elegant places such as the Book of Songs Station, Guofeng Square, Luming Food Street, Guanju Square, Xiaoya Bookstore, Guqin Museum and Lao She Teahouse.
Xi'an was called Chang' an in ancient times. Since ancient times, there has been a saying that "eight rivers surround Chang 'an". The Feng River is one of the "eight rivers" in Chang' an. The Feng River, which has flowed for thousands of years, has given birth to the bright ritual and music culture of the Book of Songs. Unexpectedly, this trip to Xi'an can stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and travel through thousands of years in this quiet and elegant place with a pot to taste poetic life.
At the Book of Songs Station, you can see those small cultural creations full of poetry, which are full of poetry. Eleven study experiences, focus on calm, feel the flow of poetry, and experience a leisurely state of mind. Walking into Lao She Teahouse, you will find an inch of sunshine, a pot of green tea, and a melodious song of "Jianjia". Life has never been so quiet and real.
The poems in the Book of Songs are not only the timeless ones left between the writing styles, but also the true interpretation of the stage. The Elegant Poetry Hall in the town reproduces the epic song of the Book of Songs with the gorgeous lighting effects, dynamic scenes, and real-life romance of the modern stage.
What fascinates me the most is the Liyuan of the Book of Songs. The scattered buildings here are hidden among the bamboo forests and pine trees. The combination of artificial decoration and the magic craftsmanship of nature creates such a dream. I instantly felt like I had walked into poetry, listening to thousands of years of history, telling different stories.
Let time slow down; let yourself calm down; let the world return to poetry.
When I go to different cities, I always like to visit various museums or art galleries. I let a pot take me to the OCAT Xi'an Museum. This art museum integrates Xi'an and international resources and presents it at an international level. Contemporary Chinese art.
The OCAT Xi'an Pavilion has three floors and contains two exhibition spaces and an event center. This is an art museum and an art space with wonderful and diverse artistic presentations. 2020 is the sixth year since the establishment of OCAT Xi'an Pavilion, and we just caught up.
Through exhibitions and activities, Xi'an Pavilion focuses on contemporary art practice, especially works that look back at history and look to the future, while thinking about the cultural diversity along the Western Regions. It was once said that the East and the West met in ancient Xi'an. Today, the Xi'an Pavilion is striving to continue its fusion by presenting contemporary art practices that are at the forefront of the times.
The sixth-anniversary retrospective exhibition held by the OCAT Xi'an Pavilion selects and presents the very distinctive parts of the Xi'an Pavilion exhibitions and public activities over the past six years to our eyes. It has a series of exhibitions on "What is Related to" in academic research, some works from "OCAT Xi'an Corner" and "Xi'an Portrait" projects, and will also specially display artist Deng Dafei's long-volume work "Xi'an Notes: Remembrance of the Ruins". The "Sixth Anniversary Retrospective Exhibition" has attracted the attention and love of many art lovers, so the exhibition has been postponed until February 28, 2021.
The OCAT Xi'an Pavilion has been launching different exhibitions. According to official news, a new exhibition will be launched in the near future. It is the solo exhibition of American photographic artist Alec Soth-"You and Me: Eric Soth".
I believe that there will be many friends who like art and exhibitions as much as Hat Hat. Coming to the OCAT Xi'an Pavilion is a great choice. Not only can you enjoy different art cultures, it is also a super amazing place to take photos and check in. Different exhibitions bring you different exciting blockbusters!
Pot A and I fled the city in the center of the city and drove into the old steel factory in the eastern part of the New town area. This place left the bustling business district of the city and added a sense of tranquility and laziness. The silent neighborhood of the old steel factory and the yellowed walls are filled with traces of time.
The old steel mill in Xi'an was originally a Shaanxi steel mill that produced military parts. Now it has been transformed into an old steel mill design creative industrial park on the basis of the original. The industrial buildings in the factory were built in the 1960s. They are deeply influenced by Soviet architectural styles and have a strong sense of age. This is a place that makes people always recall history.
The buildings in Xi'an are very time-sensitive. There will be many buildings with white walls and gray tiles, which look full of charm in reinforced concrete buildings. The old steel factory is an important landmark of the Dongcheng Industrial Site in Xi'an. The former production workshop has been reshaped and turned into B & Bs, pubs, and music bars. Various industrial parts have been turned into works of art. What remains unchanged is the stories told by history and countless people's past memories and emotions.
There is also an Urban Memory Museum in the old steel factory, which displays many articles from the daily life of old Xi'an, such as various stools and chairs, various water tanks, kettles, cups and pots and pans, telephones, televisions, sewing machines, etc. This kind of fireworks in the world will always move me. You will discover the changes in life and the memories of the city.
Old bricks, old wood, old furniture, cement, red bricks, green plants, oil paintings, gorgeous graffiti and circling steel, contemporary art freely sprinkled in the elevator room... The thickness of the ancient city of Chang 'an and the historical changes of the old steel mills. Being in this unique industrial style creative park, I really want to return to that hot era that has not yet gone far.
Many people say that the most inappropriate season to visit Xi'an is winter. The B & B that my eldest brother and I booked is right next to South Lake. When you get up early in the morning, you can go out and walk along the South Lake of Qujiang River. The lake light and water color under the warm winter sun also have a unique flavor. On the bank of the lake, willow leaves and water plants all show the unique golden color of autumn and winter, and are reflected in the shallow water together with the tall buildings in the distance.
There are also wild ducks and swans in the lake, chirping happily from time to time, stepping on the waves, and the ripples will ripple out. There were actually egrets circling in the sky, their snow-white feathers particularly eye-catching in the sun. Many people watch birds by the lake. Nanhu Lake has a unique natural and peaceful beauty. It is depressed but still vibrant, deep and agile.
At night, stroll through South Lake and walk west for about ten minutes to reach Qujiang Book City. Qujiang Bookstore is also a popular online celebrity bookstore, but we didn't go this time. But if you have time, you can stroll through the sea of books, pick a book and lie lazily on the sofa to one side, and open the book under the soft light above your head to read it.
Opposite Qujiang Book City is the entrance of the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden. The lights are on at night, which is very dreamy. Everyone is also hung with lanterns, and the scene of a thousand thousand-thousand-thousand-thousand-thousand-thousand-thousand-thousand-thousand- Since I was a dawdling man who left home too late, I could only take pictures of the theater and streets outside. There is a musical fountain in the small square opposite. The colorful fountain is also beautiful at night, but it is still a little cold, but we have a good time.
The charm of Xi'an is not only the domineering charm of an imperial city and the charm of a deserted city, but also the gentleness of an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River, which makes people yearn for.
This Sanlian Bookstore in Xi'an opened in early 2019. It is the fourth chain point in the country of the well-established bookstore [Sanlian Bookstore] and the first exquisite youth cultural store in northwest China. Xi'an Sanlian Bookstore is based on the design concept of "a place where you are always young" and has created an independent and free space integrating culture, art and social life in a small space.
Xi'an Sanlian Bookstore is located on the 5th floor of Zhongda International, South Street. The bookstore is very close to Xi'an's Bell Tower. You can reach this Sanlian Bookstore within a few minutes 'walk from the Bell Tower. The design style of Xi'an Sanlian Bookstore is both retro and modern. The furniture adopts a combination of wood and modern metal. The soft yellow-light floor lights next to the bookshelves allow readers to feel full warmth and comfort while reading.
The biggest highlight of Sanlian Bookstore's design is the three-story spiral staircase, which is also a check-in holy place for many friends who like to take photos. White metal handrails and transparent glass stairs look like a spiral tunnel of time and space from above. It has a sense of technology and the future. Wooden bookshelves are designed around the spiral staircase. Readers can climb up the stairs and experience the beauty of rotating elements in space while watching various books slowly unfolding in front of their eyes. I recommend that family members who like photography use wide-angle or ultra-wide angle to shoot large scenes. The effect will be very impactful! You can take photos anytime you want in the bookstore, the heating is also sufficient, and families can wear beautiful little dresses to take millennium style blockbusters.
Xi'an Sanlian Bookstore also puts a lot of thought into the display of books. The designers do not place books on the shelves stereotyped, but use the sense of flow to give readers a wonderful feeling of being in a sea of books. There are many types of books, mainly focusing on the four sections of "literature","music","art", and "science". Famous figures are also regularly invited as mentors to hold lectures and exhibitions.
Unlike many bookstores that do not provide reading space, Xi'an Sanlian Bookstore provides sufficient reading space. There is a large long table in the center of the bookstore and many comfortable chairs to facilitate reading. They often go to the bookstore but are worried about being chased out by the waiter. They can rest assured. There are also leisure and entertainment areas and children's areas. At the same time, family members who like Starbucks can enjoy their taste and eyes while reading books. There is a large Starbucks logo here, which is convenient for family members to take photos, and you can also carefully read their favorite books in the modern atmosphere of Starbucks.
As the ancient capital of the 10th Six Dynasties, Xi'an carries a rich history, so when we went to Xi'an, my brother and I of course had to visit the Shaanxi History Museum.
The exterior of the Shaanxi History Museum is decorated with the style of the Tang Dynasty, vividly displaying the style of the glorious era of the Tang Dynasty. The whole building has clear primary and secondary aspects, with a simple and dignified style, creating an atmosphere of combining ancient imperial palaces and traditional gardens, and also reflecting a modern sense of technology.
During my journey, I often go to take pictures of buildings, and traditional Eastern buildings are the most worthy of consideration. In the History Museum, you can intuitively feel the spatial composition characteristics and oriental aesthetics of the traditional Chinese palace building "Tai Chi Center, All Directions".
The exhibition hall of the Shaanxi History Museum is divided into three parts: basic display, special display, and temporary display. The basic display has seven exhibition halls (Prehistory, Zhou, Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Southern Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties). Taking the historical process as a clue, typical cultural relics from various eras are selected to display contemporary culture, thus reflecting the development of ancient social civilization in Shaanxi.
You can start with the evolutionary history of mankind and see the skulls of ancient humans such as Lantian people, as well as Paleolithic and human sites. Shaanxi is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation; you can see bronzes. The emperors of the Western Zhou Dynasty established the capital in Xi'an. Various utensils and inscriptions show the history and culture of the Western Zhou Dynasty. The chimes at that time were symbols of rank and power; You can feel the royal demeanor of Qin Shi Huang unified the six countries and established the Qin Dynasty. Various military weapons and majestic terracotta warriors are shocking; you can be proud of the cultural features of the most prosperous period in ancient China. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the most prosperous international metropolis in the world is Chang 'an, and it also has the Silk Road to communicate exchanges between the East and the West.
Do you know the online celebrity treasure of Shaanxi History Museum? One of my favorite items is the "Qin·Du Tiger Talisman". The tiger talisman represents military power. This is a token in the shape of a tiger made of bronze or gold. It is divided into two, with each monarch and minister. Only when the two are combined into one can it be effective.
The highlight of the "Tang Dynasty Heritage-Exhibition of Cultural Relics Unearthed in the Hoard Collection of Hejiacun" has been on display in the West Hall of the Shaanxi History Museum for 6 years. It displays the treasure of the town hall, the "Beast Head Agate Cup"; the "Tang Beast Embellished with Gold Head Agate Cup". The important treasure of the country is made of extremely rare entangled silk agate; the hollow round ball "silver sachet with grape flower and bird pattern" is said to be the same sachet of Yang Guifei. These crystallization of wisdom and art has conquered a pot and I. We are both proud of the profoundness of Chinese culture!
Qin blood, Han rhyme, and Tang style, the three most glorious dynasties, left their most glorious achievements to a yearning Chang 'an City. At the Shaanxi History Museum, the historical relics here span more than one million years and are a historical masterpiece of Chinese civilization. Come here to read history and look back on the past!
Walking in the streets and alleys of the city, you will feel like you have traveled through. The perfect integration of Eastern and Western art has shaped this ancient city into a charming capital full of both Oriental charm and Western form. Therefore, walking on the street, I always feel like I am crisscrossing between Xi'an and Chang' an.
Shaanxi Province Art Museum is the only professional art museum in northwest China and the largest art museum in western China. It mainly collects and displays ancient art relics and modern art classics in our country. Such as Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor gouache, crafts, calligraphy, seal cutting, New Year pictures, rubbings, folk art, etc.
After visiting the Art Museum, we also went to see the Hui Chang 'an exhibition. After more than a year of careful preparation, the Shaanxi Province Art Museum selected works by Shaanxi artists and works of artists from various periods who had lived and worked in Shaanxi, including 87 works by 81 people including masters of the "Chang 'an Painting School" from the numerous art works collected by the National Art Museum of China. There are a wide variety of works, covering many art types such as Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, and propaganda paintings.
Most of the works in the "Back to Chang 'an" exhibition started from Chang' an and returned to Chang 'an for the first time after decades. Among them, there are classic paintings by representatives of the Chang 'an School of Painting such as Shi Lu's "Dawn in the East", Zhao Wangyun's "Return of Yan' an", and Huang Zhou's "Snow and Snow in the Wilderness", as well as Yang Lizhou and Wang Yingchun's "Taihang Iron Wall", Guo Xianlu's "Information: Opportunities to Develop Human Intelligence", Xing Qingren's "Rose Memories" and other works that won gold medals at the National Art Exhibition.
Xi'an, what you can't finish hearing about is history, what you can't finish seeing is relics, and what you can't finish feeling is the city's profound culture accumulated over thousands of years. No city can be loved so deeply. In fact, I don't quite remember what was on display now, but the sentence at the entrance of the exhibition hall remains in my heart: Go back to Chang 'an!
Brother said that he wanted to find some sense of Xi'an's vicissitudes. After coming out of the History Museum, he went directly to Qinglong Temple. Qinglong Temple should be regarded as an unpopular attraction, and not many people knew about it. Coupled with epidemic control, fewer people came here. We went there after 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and the warm afternoon sunshine poured on us. There are monks chanting scriptures, and everything is so ethereal.
In fact, Qinglong Temple is not large. According to the official report, it covers an area of 219 acres. The main buildings are only the Tayuan Ruins, the Ancient Yuan Building, the Konghai Memorial Hall, the imitation Tang courtyards, and some monk temples. Although it is not big, the decoration is quite exquisite and elegant. Many young ladies come here to take pictures of Han costumes. Some people describe it as "the hall is glorious, the carved urns are majestic, majestic, majestic and solemn, and the grand and tall gate has red lacquer and copper nails and rings jingling, making people daunting."
It is said on the Internet that the most tourists to Qinglong Temple are in spring, because cherry blossoms are in full bloom at that time and it is extremely romantic. Now it is winter, and the courtyard is full of green pines and cypresses, which also has a unique flavor. Pavilions, attics, bridges, squares, corridors and pavilions extend forward in an orderly manner.
After passing the small square and walking straight in, it is a replica of the Tang Dynasty courtyard, where the movie "The Legend of the Cat Demon" was filmed. I remembered the set of divine girls that I didn't take, so I took a few pictures here. The time for playing around with my eldest brother quickly passed. My eldest brother didn't like to take pictures every time I came out with me.
The sunset is just right, and so is our story.
There is no feast in the world that must come to an end, and there is no permanent journey. At the end of this self-driving trip to Xi'an, pot A and I came to the Xi'an Expo Park. Can you imagine it? In Shaanxi, a pot actually told me that I could meet the sea here! (Brother, I trust her very much, but I have never believed her words, haha)
Xi'an World Expo Park is located in Xi'an Chanba Ecological Zone and is the site of the 2011 Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition. There are mainly three service areas in the park (coconut wind water bank, Bashang family and European style) and four themed exhibition halls (Chang' an Tower, Nature Museum, Children's Pet Museum and Treasures Museum).
In the Expo Park, you can enjoy various horticultural landscapes from different regions and countries. It is also known as the "Xi'an's happiest scenic spot". Because this is a great place to take wedding photos, you will often see couples having happy romantic journeys. Now due to the epidemic, pot A and I haven't met much.
Chang 'an Tower is a viewing tower in the Xi'an World Expo Park. It is located on Xiaozhong South Mountain in the World Expo Park. Its design combines the charm and modern elements of the square ancient pagoda during the Sui and Tang Dynasties; the Nature Museum, located on the east side of Chang 'an Tower, is the plant greenhouse in the Xi'an World Expo Park, mainly displaying plants and ecological landscapes from different regions and different climatic zones in the world; the Treasure Museum, located on the main axis of the World Expo Park, mainly displays ancient jade of Hongshan culture, celebrity calligraphy and paintings, mineral crystals and fossils of ancient organisms; Children's Cute Pet Hall consists of four venues: Animal Happy Valley, Monkey Mountain, Bear Paradise, and Bird Whisper Forest. This is of course the favorite place for children! A pot said, I am also a child ~
As for the sea mentioned by pot A, it is the sea in the wedding photos. Hmm ~ That's right, in each exquisite wedding photo, what you see is indeed the "sea".
Live in a B & B
1. Bu give up Chang 'an Li
Mao Mao traveled to Xi'an again. In order to better experience the customs of Xi'an, we decided to live in Huimin Street, which is the most pyrotechnic place in Xi'an. The third phase of the Chang 'an Ligui series where we live is hidden in this busy city.
Before checking in, the housekeeper of the B & B contacted me in advance and told me the address, transportation and some travel information of the B & B. The overall B & B is in an ancient style and very elegant. There is a special antique photo spot in the front desk lobby, as well as a parent-child and children's entertainment area, which is especially suitable for bringing children. There is also a reading area where you can choose your favorite books, make a cup of tea, and enjoy the slow life in the B & B.
The room that Mao lived in was called Sui Yin. It is said that the names of the B & B rooms are all taken from thirteen dynasties. They are really unique. In addition to the atmosphere of the lobby, the room decoration is also excellent. There are pipa hanging on the wall and the decorations are very exquisite, reflecting the Tang culture and Xi'an characteristics. Hat came with friends. We asked for a twin-bed room. The bed on one side was tatami. When the tea stand was placed, it turned into a small living room where you could sit on it and chat with friends ~ On the other side were silicone sheets and silicone pillows, which are also very comfortable. In particular, the bathroom provides foot soaking buckets, disposable foot soaking bags, and foot soaking medicines to soak feet. It's really too healthy!
Special experience: Ancient costume experience: The store provides free rental of Hanfu (2 hours). You can put on Hanfu and take photos in the ancient scenery of the B & B. It is really beautiful and feels like the small window is dressing up.
Surrounding attractions: City Wall, Forest of Steles Museum, Yongxing Square, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Sleepless City, Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, Daming Palace Ruins Park, etc.
About the food: By the way, there are also dates, Fu tea, and sour plum powder, which can be tasted for free. There is also a special kitchen area in the public area on the first floor, with kitchen utensils such as microwaves, which is very convenient. If you want to go out to eat, the housekeeper of the B & B will affectionately give you a guide to the surrounding food, which is delicious and saves money!
2. Impression Nanhu Homestay
When I came to Xi'an with my friends, I still wanted to stay in some special B & Bs. I happened to see the impression of Nanhu B & B, which is also close to the Datang City that we wanted to visit. Only when I arrived did I realize that many stars had stayed here (Guan Zhilin, Shen Mengchen, Jiang Xin, Karen Mo and other stars had all stayed at this B & B)~
The B & B is courtyard style, and the overall environment is very elegant. There is a new Chinese landscape in the courtyard. As soon as you enter the courtyard, you can see the tea table. You can sit and drink tea and chat with your friends, giving people a comfortable feeling. Next to it is South Lake, which has a particularly good environment. Can you still see egrets and swans by the lake during the day? Wild ducks, etc.~
We booked a twin room that included breakfast and the housekeeper would deliver breakfast to the room in the morning, which was so thoughtful. And parking here is very convenient and free of charge!
The room was very spacious and our room was on the ground floor. There is also a gym and a pool table inside ~ The room is also very exquisite. Whether it is the decoration or decoration, the designer's intention can be seen. The room has complete toiletries, including a water bar and a capsule coffee machine ~
Nearby attractions: There are buses to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, Bell Tower, Ancient City Wall, Shaanxi Province Museum and other attractions. The B & B itself is in Qujiang Park ~ The Datang Furong Garden we walked to at night. Lanterns are hung on the streets around the New Year, which is super beautiful ~
3. Xiaoge B & B (Chanba Railway Station Store)
On the third day of staying in Xi'an, we stayed at Xiaoge B & B in Baqiao District. It was the most comfortable night we had in Xi'an. It really felt like home and was also a light luxury level. The design was quite tasteful, the room was extremely clean, and the service and facilities were extremely powerful.
This is a photo of the residential B & B that Mao Mao has stayed in and the one that best matches the actual situation. The entire B & B is in a new Chinese style. The decoration of each bedroom is different. One bedroom has a hammock and the other bedroom has a curtain, both of which are very romantic. As soon as you enter the door, you can look up at the starry sky. The living room sofa is Chinese-style and very unique. You can sit there and read a book or watch a projection movie. There is a particularly comfortable hammock on the balcony. It is really comfortable to lie on it and bask in the sun ~
There is a very comfortable sofa in the small living room. Opposite it is a writing desk with pens, ink, paper and inkstones. You can practice writing. There is also a set of chimes, which simply shows the characteristics of Xi'an. There is everything in the kitchen, and you can also cook by yourself. There is red wine and beer in the wine cabinet ~ Brother Xiao even bought us a bottle of beer ~ The toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, which is also very clean, which makes my roommate, who is obsessed with cleanliness, feel particularly at ease.
