I was going to change my job, so I quickly used my wedding leave. Someone was busy, so I went on a trip with my mother. I originally wanted to go to Macau, but later I felt that I had to go to Xizang once in my life. In addition, I have wanted to see the Terracotta Warriors for a long time. Looking at the ticket, I found that Shanghai to Xi'an basically stops through Xi'an or Xining, so I immediately started.

The travel schedule is as shown in the picture

Travel schedule

Go to Xi'an for a day first, then fly to Xizang

Pay attention! Be sure to take rhodiola rhodiola a week in advance, and then buy some headache tablets. Also prepare more local oxygen tanks.

Maybe because we flew directly to Lhasa, we were really dizzy for four days after landing, and the reaction was quite serious. The travel experience was not so good.

Day1 Flying to Xi'an

The ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties was a little gray when we visited, but it was still very happy to see city walls and ancient buildings everywhere.

Unfortunately, Xi'an's subway is not very convenient. We spent a lot on transportation because we had to take a taxi everywhere.

This time I signed up for several local groups. All museums in Xi'an need to be explained, otherwise they cannot be understood at all. In Xizang, it is because the roads are far away.

The first stop is Shaanxi History Museum

I heard it's worth half of Hong Kong, because it's carved from a whole piece of agate

The time we reserved was only 3 hours, but it was not enough because there were so many treasures inside.

The items in one exhibition hall inside were dug out from two large vats, but the owner of the vats was still uncertain.

mutton and bread pieces

Finally, I ate the mutton steamed buns that I wanted to eat on Sajin Street. It was very satisfying. The mutton slices in Xi'an are very thick and fragrant, which is completely incomparable to the ones in Shanghai.

On the way there, I also passed the Xi'an Bell Tower.

After a break in the evening, I went to the Tang Dynasty Sleepless City. It took a long walk to see the Internet celebrity tumbler girl. However, because she was not lined up, she could only watch from afar to join in the fun. There are many red lanterns hanging on the trees in the Sleepless City, which are very beautiful

Flying to Xizang on Day2

Went to the Terracotta Warriors in the morning

Pit 1 was mainly developed. Only some other pits were dug because they were worried that technology would not be able to achieve them and the unearthed cultural relics would be damaged.

The location of the Terracotta Warriors is surrounded by rivers and mountains on all sides, and the feng shui is really good.

Then we went straight to Xizang. It looks really beautiful on the plane

I also specially booked a hotel with aerobic room. But when I woke up the next day, my head still ached really badly.

Day3 Lhasa-Nyingchi

I originally thought that Nyingchi would feel better if it was low at altitude, but in fact, the altitude was not much different from Lhasa. I couldn't stand it on the road, so I bought an oxygen cylinder. I can buy it everywhere in Xizang

The scenery along the way is still very good, but the distance is really long, and every attraction is far away.

We arrived in Nyingchi a few days before the Peach Blossom Festival, so we only saw flower buds.

The first day to Nyingchi was to Basongcuo Scenic Area

The water turns green in the sun

In fact, the group also includes hiking to Xincuo. But the weather was very cold and we were still dizzy, so we took photos and didn't go in to have a look

The best thing about the local group this time is the food! We had two hot pot meals and it was very delicious

Day4 Nyingchi
Kadinggou

Kadinggou is a natural formation of many Buddha images

It took a long time to drive to reach the top of the snowy mountain.

Where the two rivers meet
Nanga bawa peak

It is called Shenfeng by the locals because it can only be seen with few opportunities. It is usually hidden behind clouds.

We haven't seen sunsets or stars these days because it's all cloudy days

However, yaks will always be seen walking on the road. The car could only honk its horn to drive them away

Tibetan style cabinets in the hotel

Accommodation in Xizang is quite average. But only the mountain villages have beautiful scenery

Day5 Nyingchi-Lhasa
Shangri-La Hotel, Lhasa

After going to several observation platforms, I finally arrived in Lhasa after driving for 6 hours. We stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel. There is an oxygen inhalation place on the first floor. We go there every day and feel much better.

I originally planned to go to Namtso. But I heard it was frozen there and the round-trip time was too long. So forget it.

In the morning, I heard from the hotel manager that Norbulingka is next to it, a Tibetan-style garden with the Dalai Lama's office.

Absorbed oxygen ions

Later, we switched to the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street to play

Barkhor Street/Jokhang Temple and nearby areas

Barkhor Street is bustling, full of Buddhist believers, circling Jokhang Temple in circles. Turn the prayer wheel while walking. The prayer wheel can also rotate in the wind and water, so I have seen large prayer wheels on the mountains and in the water.

Potala Palace day and night

The driver who took us there said that gold was the least valuable in the Potala Palace. It really is. A pagoda inside which holds the true body of the Lama takes more than 3 tons of gold. They are also inlaid with gems.
