Day1-9: Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, Bi Se Village, Xishuangbanna, Botanical Garden
Due to work reasons, I couldn't travel with my family from the first to ninth days, and met with my family in Kunming on the ninth day. Therefore, only photos taken by my family were posted from 1 to 9 days without detailed explanation.

Day11: Lijiang Dayan Ancient City 2
One day when I didn't take pictures very carefully, I filled up the places I hadn't visited the day before. I went to Zhongyi Market next to the ancient city (in the south of the ancient city, where locals also shop) to buy local specialties and supplies on the road. After carrying a lot of things, I naturally didn't bother to take pictures.

Baisha ancient town
In the evening, I quietly went to Baisha Ancient Town. The town was so quiet that there was no one. Most of the shops were closed, and a few of the ones with their doors open looked really artistic. There were coffee bars, beer bars, dessert shops, and medical centers in both Chinese and English... The important thing is to look up at the sky, the sky is full of stars, the sky is full of stars, it is spectacular! Unfortunately, I just didn't bring a SLR.
Baisha ancient town
There are many such rose plants in the town, and they feel like they are growing and blooming regardless of anything. Baisha Ancient Town is the birthplace of Dongba culture in Naxi. It is an ancient town 12 kilometers north of Lijiang. It still maintains a relatively simple state and attracts people who yearn for peace.
Foreigners like it very much, so many shops on the street have signs in Chinese and English.
There are also white sand murals that have been painted for more than 300 years during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. I didn't see them at night. If I can go during the day, I must have a good look at them.

Day12: Lugu Lake (2690 meters above sea level)
Depart early in the morning to Lugu Lake! Take the eighteen bends of Lining, and then all the way to the winding mountain highway, up and down the mountain. I don't know how many mountains I have to climb to reach Lugu Lake. I can imagine that when there were no modern roads, Lugu Lake was mysterious and isolated from the world. How amazing!
Lining Eighteen Bend Observation Platform
Eighteen Bends are the old roads in the past, and residents in villages on the mountain still often walk them. The mountainside on the right side is a newly built road with few smooth turns. The two old and new roads will merge at the foot of the mountain, so both roads can be walked. This observation deck was developed jointly by the village and businessmen, so the fee is 10 yuan to transform the original construction site where road construction and waste stones were piled up. At present, only the observation deck has been repaired, and other facilities are still under construction. There is also a viewing deck on the newly built road, which can overlook the eighteen bends from different angles. It is also so new that various facilities have not yet been built.
Go straight along the Lining Highway and you will find the Jinsha River at the foot of the mountain. Later, you will have to walk the bridge over the river.
The car casually photographed a small village on the roadside.
Lugu Lake
Tickets for Lugu Lake are 35 yuan/person. You can go to the scenic spot and play for a few days! As long as you don't come out, you don't have to buy tickets anymore.
Lugu Lake Scenic Area-Observation Platform
Enter the gate of the scenic area and go straight to the observation deck. It's really beautiful!
The biggest advantage of this scenic spot is that when you drive into the scenic spot, you can stop and stay as you go, take photos and stay. In short, it is very comfortable. If you have a reasonable schedule, you must stay here for one night. It is said that the night is very beautiful and the stars are shining.
Lugu Lake
It was almost noon and the light was not very strong. However, the weather here is unpredictable. I have experienced all exposure, cloudy days, and rain on this day, and they are still staggered and have no regularity. Therefore, remember to be prepared at any time for hats, sunglasses, umbrellas, raincoats, etc.!
When you come out of the observation deck, you can start the mode of driving around the lake, and you can also rent a battery car to circle around the lake. The view B & B by the lake looks good!

After May, there are still aquatic poplar flowers full of the lake, and the lake is dotted with stars and white flowers. Unfortunately, the sky is not warm enough now, and only dead branches are floating in the water, which cannot be seen. By boat to the center of the lake, you can directly drink the water from the lake.
Lugu Lake
Riga Island
On Ligge Island, Lugu Lake, it is close to evening, and the lake is very quiet.
If you think Lugu Lake is mysterious, visit the Musa Folk Museum and Yang Erche Namu's B & B and Museum. Unfortunately, it was a little late, so I didn't visit it.
Half of Lugu Lake is located in Yunnan and half in Sichuan. However, if you want to go north into Tibetan areas, you can only return to Lijiang and then north. This way, the road is easy to walk. Although Lugu Lake also has a road sign to Daocheng, locals rarely walk. Because the road conditions are not good, tourists 'cars are generally unable to drive through. Moreover, it seems to be close, but it actually takes time. This gives us the idea of taking a shortcut. In fact, even navigation cannot guide this shortcut. It's better to return to Lijiang obediently and take the route from Tiger Leaping Gorge to Shangri-La to Daocheng.
In the evening, I returned to Lijiang and lived in Shuhe Ancient Town.
Day13: Tiger Leaping Gorge, Songzan Forest Temple, Shangri-La
In the early morning, I first played with the innkeeper's cat. I left Shuhe Ancient Town and headed for Tiger Leaping Gorge. Here, people and cats have stories. I chatted with the innkeeper to learn about the people and stories of Lijiang. It was also part of the trip.
You can see the rolling snowy mountains along the way

The Tiger Leaping Gorge (Lijiang Section) is more suitable for parent-child travel. A smooth plank road has been built here, and the drop from the parking lot to the riverside is not high. 12 hours are enough to play. The Tiger Leaping Gorge in the Shangri-La section is suitable for outdoor hiking, which is relatively challenging both on the road and physical strength. Young people can consider trying it. If traveling with the elderly and children, it is recommended to play the Tiger Leaping Gorge in the Lijiang section.

The rushing river of the Tiger Leaping Gorge is the Jinsha River. In fact, April is still the dry season. After May, the rainy season will enter, and the surging river will be even more powerful! The huge rock in the river is the legendary foothold where the tiger crosses the river.

After visiting the Tiger Leaping Gorge, head straight to Shangri-La.
It was still early. Before arriving at the ancient city of Dukezong, I went to Songzanlin Temple. It is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan Province and one of the famous large temples in Kang District. It is also the center of Yellow Religion in Sichuan and Yunnan. It has a decisive position in the entire Tibetan area and is known as the "Little Potala Palace." Songzanlin Temple is built against a mountain and looks like an ancient castle. It integrates Tibetan plastic art and is also known as the "Tibetan Art Museum".
At the entrance of the temple, there are Tibetan guys with good Chinese who organize tours and explain them to tourists. They will also inform everyone in advance of the taboos for the tour. You are not allowed to wear sunglasses and hats when entering the hall. You are not allowed to take photos in the hall. You can communicate at any time if you have any problems.
The murals at the entrance of the temple are colorful, vivid in shape, smooth in lines, and exquisitely drawn. They are quite good.
On the sacred mountain opposite the temple, you can talk to the tour guide about Meili Snow Mountain. The name of Meili Snow Mountain in Tibetan is very long and I can't remember it.
This place is very worth visiting, so leave it to everyone to explore in detail! No matter how much you see, it is better to experience it yourself.
In the evening, we settled in the ancient city of Dukezong.
ancient city of dukezong
The ancient city of Dukezong is the best-preserved and largest Tibetan dwelling group in China."Dukezong", a Tibetan pronunciation contains two meanings, one is "castle built on stone" and the other is "moonlight city". Later, the ancient city was built around the stockade on the top of the mountain. The ancient city of Dukezong is built along the mountains and has uneven roads. It is an important town on the ancient tea-horse road and the first stop of the horse gang after entering Tibet.
The ancient city of Dukezong was built in accordance with the ideal country of Shambhala in the Buddhist scriptures. The ancient city is built along the mountains, with uneven roads. It is paved with some old stones that are old and paved on the natural terrain. There are still deep horseshoe marks left on the stone road. It is a token of time left by the horse gangs of those years.

In the evening, at the top of Guishan Park in the ancient city of Dukezong, Chaoyang Tower + the world's largest prayer wheel.
ancient city of dukezong
The world's largest prayer turning tube is about 5 stories high. The body is made of pure copper and gilded. The four major Bodhisattva Bodhisattva Manjusri, Samannah, Guanyin, and Ksitigarbha are carved with embossed seals at the upper end of the tube wall. The Buddha's Eight Treasures are carved at the lower end. The tube also contains a total of 1.24 million Buddhist mantras, wordless mantra, etc., and a variety of Buddhist treasures reaching 16 tons. There is a handrail under the prayer wheel for people to push the prayer wheel. To rotate such a huge sutra tube, everyone needs to work hard at the same time. Every rotation is equivalent to reciting 1.24 million sounds of the Buddha's name. After rotating for three cycles, you can eliminate disasters and pray for blessings and achieve good luck.

It is still very cold at night when staying in the ancient city. The inns are equipped with electric mattresses. If you want to keep it warmer, you can ask the boss to burn the kang for an additional fee. The ancient city of Dukezong is 3300 meters above sea level. If you drive here by yourself, the altitude will be lighter. Don't be too excited on the plateau, don't run and jump. You will basically get used to it overnight. You must eat and wear warm clothes, which will alleviate the altitude.
D14: Pudacuo National Forest Park, Daocheng
Half an hour's drive from Dukezong Ancient City. Since the scenic area is partially open, the tour time is about half a day, which is very close.
Not all Pudacuo National Park is open. After entering the gate, you have to take the bus from the scenic area. It takes about an hour to get off at Shudu Lake. Other areas are not open and can only be viewed by car. In order to reduce tourists 'damage to the environment and restore the original environment in the past, they are open in different regions.
The beard on the tree represents the quality of the environment. Once the beard disappears, it means that the quality of the environment is greatly reduced. When the environment recovers, the beard on the tree will grow.
Tourists tour on the trail
The little squirrels in the forest were afraid to be hungry and jumped directly on people to find food.
The little squirrel was waiting for food, but unfortunately he didn't bring anything he could eat. However, scenic spots also recommend not to feed wild animals at will.
Pudacuo then went straight to Daocheng Aden. It takes about 6 hours. The locals are actually familiar with the road, so it will take 4 hours. But for safety reasons, follow the navigation. It is already night when you arrive in Daocheng. Don't forget to stop the car and look up at the sky on the way. The stars are quite shocking.
Day15: Daocheng Aden
Tickets for scenic spots are naturally not cheap. In terms of cost performance, they are really very low. No matter how beautiful the scenery is, it requires sufficient physical strength and perseverance to see it. Therefore, if you want to go, you must not read too much strategies. Bring money, food and water, and wear warm clothes. It's good to start. If you read too many strategies, you may not have the courage to start.
Chonggu Temple, behind it is the sacred mountain immortal sun.
You still need to take a bus from the scenic area to enter the scenic area. It feels like you are wandering in the mountains for about two hours. There is a radio explanation on the bus to take you to appreciate the three great sacred mountains of Daocheng Aden. The location where the bus gets off is the short-term tour route. On the front line of Chonggu Temple and Pearl Sea, you will continue to change to a battery car and get off at Luorong Niuchang for the long tour.
The horse team coming down from Luorong Cattle Farm.
Looking at Yangmaiyong Mountain from afar
It's about to climb the mountain. There are horse horses on the roadside, which can help you save energy and time. The price is high, but for friends who are willing but lack the energy, you can consider it. After all, it can help you save 1 hour of physical energy. Although this section of the road is ups and downs may not seem difficult, but after all, in high altitude areas, I dare not speak loudly or breathe normally. It is a necessity to preserve my strength, but after reaching the wooden ladder position, I can only climb on my own, which is also the most difficult start.
The mountain road is bumpy, and it is difficult to rise more than 100 meters on the plateau. Bring oxygen with you and wear light and warm clothes. Don't bring heavy food, chocolate, beef jerky and enough water!
When you see this, you will soon get the milk sea and the five-color sea, but this road with poor physical strength will take at least 40 minutes to walk. It is four hours away from Luorong Cattle Farm where climbing began.
The Wuxing Sea is called "Tenzingcuo" in Tibetan. It is named because the lake surface shows five different colors under the refraction of light. It is located between Xiannairi and Yangmaiyong, with an altitude of 4700 meters. The lake surface is circular and has an area of 0.58 square kilometers.
The snowy mountains around you
Milk Sea, named "Erongcuo" in Tibetan, has an altitude of 4600 meters. It is in the valley of Yangmaiyong Snow Mountain and has a scallop shape. It is named because there is blue snow water in the middle and a circle of milky white water around it. It is an ancient glacier lake, shaped like water droplets, surrounded by snowy mountains.
At 4:30, I am ready to go down the mountain. When you come to Daocheng Aden, you must be clear about your physical strength. If you want to play thoroughly, you must stay in the scenic area for one night. Make arrangements for short-term tours and long-term tours for one day. Old people and children who are not physically strong can really play songs. Just Chonggu Temple and Pearl Sea. If you have pursuits, you must come for a long-term trip. Friends who come to this scenic spot with average physical conditions must do what they can.
However, high reflection really has nothing to do with physical fitness. Big men and weak girls may have high reflection. On the contrary, children have strong adaptability, and there are also great gods carrying three to five bags of photographic equipment (many middle-aged and elderly people), I really admire it!
I think the most beautiful season in Daocheng and Aden is after May. I went to this scene in April, but it was still a little desolate. It went in May and June in spring, and in autumn and 90th in September. There are also many sunny days, and the scenery is naturally beautiful. Summer is the rainy season, and the mountain roads are muddy and difficult to walk. In winter, the snow closes the mountain.
Day17: National Highway 318, Litang, Kangding
Day18: Hailuogou, Mianyang
Day19: Mianyang, Xi'an
Chenglou Museum, Hui Street,
Day20: Xi'an, go home
Forest of Steles, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Terracotta Warriors Museum, steamed pork with rice flour, Shaozi noodles, Laotongguan Roujiamo, small crispy pork
Summary:
1. The most beautiful seasons in Sichuan, Tibet, Yunnan and Tibet must be summer and autumn!!! The advantage of spring is that fewer people are at ease, but you can't see the most beautiful seasons.
2. The 20-day trip is still too stressful, and most places cannot be thoroughly explored. Therefore, planning before travel is actually not very important (basic strategies still need to be available, but time calculation must be generous). The important thing is that there is enough time to flexibly adjust during the trip.
