It has been 8 years since Xiao Zheng and I last visited Chengdu together. At that time, we were still students and had no money. Seven years ago, we graduated from college and went our separate ways. Before leaving school, we said that we would find opportunities to get together often in the future. We had just parted ways and didn't know that the days we would get together in single digits in the next few years. We could only use qq and WeChat to express our sincerity. By this time, we had already started working and had money and no time. A few months ago, I was chatting with Xiao Zheng about when I could go on a trip, but I couldn't go with them because I was busy with work. At the beginning of December, I finally got busy with work and made an appointment with Xiao Zheng to go out for a play: Let's go to Xi'an! Then we made strategies, asked for leave, bought tickets, and booked hotels. Although we almost couldn't travel in the early stage due to leave and ID cards, we finally overcame all difficulties and traveled together.

DAY1 12.13

Xiao Zheng and I are in Wuhan and Wushan, Chongqing. We agreed to meet at Huashan North Railway Station. Xiao Zheng left Wushan early in the morning, then went to Wanzhou to fly to Xi'an, and then took the high-speed train from Xi'an to Huashan North. It was not easy to go around all the way, and I felt sorry for her.

As for me, I worked half a day in the morning and skipped work in the afternoon. I took the subway to Wuhan Station. When I arrived at Wuhan Station, it was still early to leave. I leisurely had lunch at the KFC near the train station before entering the station. At this time, Xiao Zheng was still running around all kinds of things, and he felt sorry for her again for a minute, haha!

Due to the early arrival time, the original G2388 at 14:10 was changed to G818. The arrival time was nearly 20 minutes earlier.

14:35 Get on the G2388 and set off

I arrived at Huashan North Railway Station at 18:41. I sent a message to Xiao Zheng. She is still waiting at Xi'an North Railway Station, so I can only wait for her. Okay, there are uncles and aunties dancing in the railway station square, so I will follow suit. Huashan is still much colder than Wuhan, so I will start moving every time.

At 19:55, Xiao Zheng finally arrived at Huashan North Railway Station. We took a taxi to the B & B for 16 yuan!

The B & B is near Huashan. When we arrived at the B & B, the boss helped us quickly check in and also helped us deliver our luggage to our room. Haha, the boss is so nice!

You can read, play chess, and write outside the room. Teacher Xiao Zheng has left the country!

The room is large and clean, with complete facilities. The most important thing is warmth and comfort.

Putting down our luggage, we went out to find food

It was already past 8 o'clock when we left the B & B. We wanted to eat some local specialties. We didn't know if it was because the weather was cold or it was late, but there were not many restaurants still open outside, so we finally chose a casserole skewer shop. Alas, two Chongqing people came to Shaanxi to eat hot pot, but they were also drunk (in fact, I am also from Chongqing)!

After dinner, go back to B & B

There is no TV in the B & B, but there is a projector, but that guy actually looks deeply in the rain. Holy crap. Take a bath, sleep, huh!

DAY2 12.14

There is breakfast in the B & B, but the boss said that the breakfast is mainly steamed buns, steamed buns, fried dough sticks and porridge. I wanted to eat some local food, but I didn't choose to eat at the B & B.

I ate a bowl of biang biang noodles outside, and the taste was okay. Xiao Zheng ordered a roujiamo and millet porridge. The roujiamo was basically fat meat, totaling 29. The price was a bit expensive.

After breakfast, Xiao Zheng wanted to buy gloves. I didn't think it was necessary to not want to buy them, but later I couldn't stop her from buying them (later, during the mountain climbing process, it proved that buying gloves was completely necessary)

We lived very close to the Huashan Visitor Center, and the owner of the B & B drove us to the Visitor Center

When you see this lotus lantern sculpture, you are already at the foot of Huashan Mountain. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the visitor center.

About Huashan:

Huashan, the western mountain of the five mountains, is one of the famous five mountains in China. Since ancient times, there has been a saying that "the most dangerous mountain in the world". Huashan is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and one of the nine major sun viewing sites in China. The sun viewing site is located on the east peak of Huashan Mountain (also known as Chaoyang Peak), and Chaoyang Terrace is the best place. Huashan Mountain mainly has the north peak, west peak, south peak, east peak and middle peak. The north peak is 1614 meters above sea level, the west peak is 2,082.6 meters above sea level, and the south peak is 2,154.9 meters above sea level. It is the highest main peak of Huashan Mountain and the highest peak of the five mountains. The east peak is 2,096.2 meters above sea level and the middle peak is 2,037.8 meters, ranking in the center of the three east, west and south peaks. There are more than 210 famous scenic spots in Huashan, including the sky plank road erected in the sky, the kites flying in the sky on three sides, and the Qianchi Building, Baichi Gorge, Laojun Li Gou, etc. carved on the cliffs. Among them, Huayue Xianzhang is listed as the first of the eight scenic spots in Guanzhong.

Peak season (March 1-end of November), off-season (December 1-end of February of the following year)

This is the ticket price for Huashan tickets, ferry tickets, and cableway. You can get a 50% discount on student ID tickets. We bought our tickets and one-way ferry tickets to the mountains at the visitor center, and the round-trip cableway was bought on Ctrip. On Ctrip, it was 11 yuan cheaper for two people.

I heard from the owner of a B & B that there are several ways to climb Huashan. One is to hike the whole way, so you can climb Huashan at night, and go to Chaoyang Terrace the next day to watch the sunrise; the other is to take the cableway up and down west. The Xifeng cableway is steeper and the scenery is more beautiful; the other is to take the cableway north and down, and the ticket price of the cableway is relatively cheap. When we went there, we happened to encounter the Xifeng cableway maintenance, and we didn't want to hike the entire journey. In the end, we had to choose to go north and down north. When we were at a B & B, we met two older brothers who were preparing to climb Huashan on foot. They had all prepared hiking poles and so on. Later, we met them in Dongfeng.

Sitting on the cableway, Xiao Zheng was afraid of heights, frowned, and closed his eyes!

After getting down from the cableway, we are ready to climb the mountain!

Let's take a local map of Huashan first

There are many locks and red ribbons on the handrails and chains along the way. There are hawkers selling them halfway. The locks can also be engraved with inscriptions, implying good luck and peace.

In Jin Yong's novel "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", the place where Huashan discusses swords is said to be where Jin Yong did not climb Huashan when he wrote "The Legend of the Condor Heroes". It was only because the steepness of Huashan can highlight the excellent martial skills of the characters in the novel that there was a scene where Huashan discusses swords. Later, after the novel became popular, Mr. Jin Yong titled it "Huashan discusses swords". Every peak in Huashan has stone carvings titled "Huashan Sword Theory", but the place with the most people to take photos is still the north peak.

Let's take a photo with Huashan

Looking down from above, do you feel scared?

North Peak, which is the lowest among the several peaks, and there are still many people taking photos

Cha 'er Cliff, which faces a deep ravine in the east and a granite cliff in the west. In the past, it was wide and tight enough to accommodate enough space. Pedestrians here must stick to the cliff and rub their ears to walk, hence the name

Standing on Cha 'er Cliff and looking at the North Peak

Flying snow shoots at white deer in the sky, and the smiling man leans on the green jade. It is another place where "Huashan discusses swords". I didn't read Mr. Jin Yong's novels carefully, but I have basically watched all the TV dramas filmed in the novels.

Drones have also joined the army of photographers

Riyue Rock

I heard that this used to be a royal road. In ancient times, many emperors would pass through these places. However, there were no handrails before, but now there are escalators and chains.

Forced Xiao Zheng to buy this for me, saying he would bring it back for the girl to play with

Canglong Ridge is the only channel connecting the North Peak with the three main peaks in the Southeast and West

Walking without looking at the mountains, looking at the mountains without walking. Stop to look at the scenery while you are panting

There are many such wild cats on the mountain. Xiao Zheng said they are "Huashan tigers". Well, you may have a heart to be a tiger, so you don't give me a shot.

We hurried down Fengguan, with red silk covering the railings on both sides.

Long life and heart are all fulfilled, and thousands of gold lock peace!

From Jinsuoguan, you can take Xifeng or Zhongfeng. The two peaks form a circle, Nanfeng and Dongfeng. We choose the route from Jinsuoguan-Xifeng-Nanfeng-Dongfeng-Zhongfeng-Jinsuoguan

As a southerner who has rarely seen snow, he has little resistance to snow. If you encounter it, you must pat it

Little snowmen made by two foreigners

Although the road leading to the west summit is not steep, the wind is extremely strong, and every time the wind blows, you have to hold the iron chain to go up.

It is said that Chenxiang cut mountains and saved her mother here

We reached the top of Xifeng, and the wind was still strong. If people with thin bodies, they might be blown away

Go back a little from the top of the West Peak, and climb a little mountain road to the top of the South Peak. This is the highest altitude of Huashan Mountain. The wind is very strong, and your hair can be blown to your feet.

The sky plank road in Nanfeng was closed due to weather conditions. What a pity

Walking from the south peak to the east peak is basically going downhill. Going uphill will only be panting at most. Going downhill is a nightmare for me. My knees hurt so much. In the next few days, Xiao Zheng and I dragged this broken body around. The most important thing is because of Huashan Mountain.

The kite rolling in Dongfeng Peak was also closed due to weather conditions. Fortunately, the scenery is beautiful from a different angle.

This ladder is close to 90 degrees and is very steep. If it were not for the closure, I believe many people would still climb it.

Xiao Zheng was unwilling to accept it. He had to climb the ladder down the North Peak to enjoy it.

Take the cableway down the mountain from Beifeng. There are many people, everyone is queuing up to go down the mountain

We arrived at the Huashan Visitor Center at around 9 a.m.. We took the cableway from North Peak to the foot of North Peak at about 10 o'clock. From North Peak to West Peak-South Peak-Dongfeng-Middle Peak, we took the cableway down the mountain to the visitor center at about 17:10, including rest and photo time. We bought water before going up the mountain. There were places to sell snacks and eat on the mountain. The higher the place, the more expensive it is. When we went down the mountain, we bought roasted sausages in North Peak to eat, and Xiao Zheng bought some souvenirs and I was going back to give them to relatives and friends.

When we went down the mountain and took the shuttle bus, we contacted the B & B owner and took our luggage to Huashan North Railway Station. We bought a train to Xi'an North at 17:58.

There are many places to eat and sell souvenirs in the visitor center, but in order to save time, we plan to eat in Xi'an.

We got off the bus in the morning and waited for the B & B owner to drive us to the train station. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the boss came and took us to the train station for about 15 minutes. When we arrived at Huashan North Railway Station, we rushed all the way to the station.

It takes 38 minutes on the high-speed train from Huashan North to Xi'an North. After getting off the train, we plan to take the subway to the hotel we booked.

Below Xi'an North Railway Station is the North Railway Station of Xi'an Metro Line 2. We got off at Bell Tower Station and walked a few hundred meters to the hotel we booked. The North Railway Station is the terminal of Line 2. As soon as we arrived at the boarding point, we saw that the subway was open. We went straight on the subway without thinking. We found it empty inside and instantly thought we were sitting in the opposite direction. Fortunately, there is a sanitation subway on the subway that tells us we can sit here, and now we are making a U-turn. Sure enough, before we could regain our senses, the subway that had turned back had arrived at the station. After the door opened, the subway was instantly filled with people. Haha, like us.

When we arrived at the hotel, we checked in. Next to the hotel is Qunguang Square, the provincial government is also nearby, and it is also close to Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Hui Street. Putting down our luggage, we were hungry and decided to go to Hui Street for food.

bell tower

Gulou

Hui Street is next to the Drum Tower. When you step into Hui Street, there are many people. It belongs to the Internet celebrity snack street, similar to Hubu Lane in Wuhan. There are many foreign tourists, so it is estimated that locals should rarely go there. Hui Street has snacks such as paomo, roujiamo, pomegranate juice, squid, kebabs, marshmallows, brush crisp, whirlwind potato ta, crispy hot dogs, fried stinky tofu, octopus meatballs and other snacks. However, don't these snacks be found in snack streets in most cities now? Perhaps "The Flowers Bloomed That Year and the Moon Were Full" made the cake and Jingyang Fu Tea popular. There are advertisements everywhere saying that it is authentic. I think everyone knows whether it is authentic or not.

mutton and bread pieces

shuipen mutton

Hungry, we chose a restaurant where we could sit down and eat-Laomijia Paomo, Xiao Zheng ordered mutton Paomo, and I ordered ordinary Shuipin mutton. In my opinion, the difference between mutton steamed buns and Shuipin mutton is that the buns in the mutton steamed buns are made by the store, and there are fewer fans. Shuipin mutton needs to be broken by yourself. The taste is better than that in Wuhan. As for the authentic ones in Xi'an, it may still be a lot worse. But the sweet garlic is quite delicious

It was already past 10 o'clock in the evening when we returned to the hotel from Huimin Street. We were extremely tired and our legs and feet ached badly. At the end of the day, the number of steps in the WeChat movement has reached more than 30000, ranking first in the WeChat movement in the circle of friends.

DAY3 12.15

After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, I planned to go to the Shaanxi History Museum. It was already past 9 o'clock in the morning when I arrived at the museum. Since I had not done my homework well, I realized that I needed to make an appointment when I arrived. You can use your ID card to make reservations at the Shaanxi History Museum on the Weixin Official Accounts or the official website. There are free and fees. Hearing from the person next to you that the free ones are basically booked by the travel agency tour guide as soon as they come out, we decisively chose to add 30 yuan to upgrade to "Tang Dynasty Treasures-Hejiacun Cellar Exhibition of Cultural Relics". Free venues can also be viewed. Our reservation period is 12:30-13:30, which is when we can enter the site.

Taking advantage of the early entrance time, we looked at the map and found that the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was nearby, so we decided to walk there. ps: There are many shared bicycles in Xi'an, but Xiao Zheng can't ride a bicycle, so he can only make do with her.

The streets in Xi'an are very clean, with smoke-extinguishing places everywhere, including bus stops.

Looking at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda from a distance

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located in Dacien Temple. In the third year of Yonghui of the Tang Dynasty (652), Xuanzang presided over the construction of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to preserve the Buddhist scroll Buddha statues brought back to Chang 'an from Tianzhu via the Silk Road. It is 64.517 meters high. Xuanzang was 64 years old when he died. Is there some connection? Wind chimes are hung on every corner of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which jingles whenever the wind is strong.

Dacien Temple was founded by Prince Li Zhi in the 22nd year of Zhenguan of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty (648) in order to remember his mother Zhangsun, Queen Wende. Xuanzang presided over temple affairs here and took charge of the Buddhist scriptures translation site.

Tickets for Dacien Temple: 40 yuan/person, student ticket 20 yuan/person

Tickets for the Big Wild Goose Pagoda: 20 yuan/person

Walking into Dacien Temple, you will see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda on the front, and about 10 meters in front of the gate are mini versions of the Bell Tower and Drum Tower on both sides.

This kind of plant, which I don't know whether to call it a tree or a grass, is found in many places in Xi'an. It is attached to the wall and has a very strong adhesion.

There are many Buddha statues enshrined in Dacien Temple. Because of the Buddhist holy land, I stopped taking photos. Later, Xiao Zheng wanted to go to the tower to have a look, but I didn't go up and went to the Xuanzang Sanzang Courtyard behind the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to have a look.

Maintenance construction is underway outside Sanzang Courtyard

Xuanzang's map of scriptures

I couldn't understand it if I went in and read it myself, so I could rent a tour guide outside to explain it, so I chose to listen. There are many murals and embossed in Xuanzang's Sanzang Courtyard, mainly showing Xuanzang's life from birth to Buddhist scriptures and finally passing away.

daxiong Hall

Coming out of Cien Temple, we walked to the Shaanxi History Museum

When we arrived at the Shaanxi History Museum, there were already many people lining up in front of us. No water or selfie sticks are allowed inside. You can check these things in the storage room next to it.

We worked together with others to explain the tour guide. The tour guide explanation fee for the Free Museum + Tang Heritage Museum cost 150 yuan for less than 10 people. We just had 10 people in a group, and each person was 15 yuan. The tour guide explanation also had to wait in line. Fortunately, the young ladies in the group picked up the tickets in advance. We waited for about half an hour before it was our turn. Each person had a headset and an interpreter.

Reservations in exhibition halls 1, 2 and 3 are free, exhibition hall 4 requires an additional 30 yuan per person, and exhibition halls 5, 6 and 7 are more expensive. We didn't buy tickets to enter.

I didn't encounter a performance by the Internet celebrity tumbler, but I did encounter a performance of "Back to Chang 'an". It started at 7:30 p.m., and the half-hour performance was very exciting and worth it

Most China, look at Xi'an

DAY4:12.16

Today, I planned to go to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang. After breakfast in the hotel early in the morning, I took a taxi to Xi'an Railway Station. When I got there, I realized that You 5 had been moved to the Textile City Passenger Station, but I could take 914 and 915. 914 is a low-speed ride, and 915 is a high-speed ride. We chose 915, the ticket is 9 yuan/person

About the Terracotta Warriors: The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang are located in the Terracotta Warriors pit 1.5 kilometers east of the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang in Lintong District, Xi'an City. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang were discovered by local farmers when digging a well in 1974 and are known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." There are three pits in total. Pit 1 is the main army formation of chariots and infantry. There are more than 6000 life-size pottery figurines, which is also the largest of the three pits; Pit 2 is a mixture of chariots, cavalry, and crossbows; Pit 3 is the command system of the army formation.

ticket price

Peak season: From March 1 to the end of November of that year, full tickets are RMB 150/person, and preferential tickets are RMB 75/person.

Off-season: From December 1 to the end of February of the following year, full tickets are RMB 120/person, and preferential tickets are RMB 40/person.

We booked the tickets in advance on Ctrip. After arriving at the place, we swiped our ID card and entered the museum directly. In addition to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, the tickets also included the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang. There was a free shuttle bus between the two places. I heard that the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang was a mountain bag, so we didn't go to the Imperial Mausoleum.

Let's start with a statue of Qin Shihuang

When you arrive at the Qin Shihuang Terracotta Warriors Museum, be sure to ask a guide to explain, and tell important things three times! I invited a tour guide to give a more in-depth understanding of the history behind the Terracotta Warriors, otherwise you would only see a few mud pits and a group of clay figurines when you went in. We can hire a tour guide to explain at the entrance and into the park. We were silly and only invited after entering the park. As a result, they all invited in a group outside. No one joined us in a group. We had to invite two people in the park. The tour guide explained 90 yuan for less than 10 people, and 8 yuan for headphones per person. It is recommended that everyone invite them outside and find a few more people to make a difference.

This is the lady in black who is the tour guide we hired. She speaks very quickly and sometimes she can't keep up with her pace

After leaving the Terracotta Warriors at around 3 p.m., there were many snacks outside. Xiao Zheng and I bought some melon seed cakes, peanut cakes and so on and sent them to relatives and friends.

Each person came to fill his stomach with several kebabs. A puppy saw the kebabs in my hand following me and threw it the ones that had not been completely eaten before stopping following me.

After coming out of the Terracotta Warriors, we took the 915 back to downtown Xi'an, and then took a taxi to Yongxingfang

It was already past 6 o'clock in the afternoon when we left Yongxing Square. We took a taxi to Qunguang Square and ended today's trip with the movie "Manslaughter"

DAY5:12.17

We are going home today. Xiao Zheng got up early in the morning to pack his bags and leave. I had to drive on the high-speed train a little later than her. I waited until she left before getting up and going to the hotel to have breakfast and check out leisurely.

Take the subway to Xi'an North Railway Station. My ticket time is 9:57. Xi'an, goodbye!

Summary: Huashan is our first stop, but according to people who have been there, we should arrange to play in Xi'an for the first two days and climb Huashan at the last stop. We walked non-stop for a few days. We should have enough exercise every day, but our legs, feet and waist were all injured. We didn't pay much attention to food during this trip. We mainly stayed on playing. The hotel must not be too biased, otherwise it would be tiring to run. For me, Huashan and the Tang Dynasty Sleepless City are worth visiting again. It is enough to see the Terracotta Warriors once. Xi'an is a warm and clean city. The people here are enthusiastic. The buildings here have the atmosphere of an ancient capital. The facilities here are convenient. In short, I will visit Xi'an in the future and I will seriously taste Xi'an's food next time.

About Ctrip. com: It is very convenient to book air tickets, tickets, and hotels on Ctrip. There are also many kinds of strategies, but I have to complain about it, writing travel notes that are constantly flashed out. What the hell is this?

The travel notes are a bit messy, so let's just read them.
