In the busy city of Hansen Village in the eastern suburbs of Xi'an, there is a mysterious tomb called "Hansen Tomb". A few years ago, small business hawkers gathered here to form a large farmers 'trading market in the Hansenzhai area. Over the years, there has been a lot of fog about who is buried in this Hansen Tomb. Perhaps the mystery can only be solved by opening the tomb.

Tomb owner Miyun

However, according to the country's archaeological requirements for imperial tombs, excavation cannot be carried out voluntarily unless due to irresistible factors such as nature. The identity of the owner of Hansen's tomb has always been controversial. There are claims by famous doctor Han Sen and famous general Han Xin, as well as claims by King Xiaowen of Qin and King Zhuangxiang of Qin. There is no conclusive conclusion.

There is a stele in front of Han Sen's tomb. On it is the words "Tomb of King Zhuang Xiang of Qin" inscribed by Bi Yuan, governor of Shaanxi during the Qianlong period. However, according to records in "Records of the Historian" and other books, after the Qin Dynasty established the capital of Xianyang, King Zhaoxiang of Qin and Empress Dowager Xuan were buried in Zhiyang. Of course, the famous Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang was also here. However, the location of the tombs of Qin Shihuang's grandfather, King Xiaowen of Qin, and his father, King Zhuangxiang of Qin have not yet been found. Han Sen's tomb may be the tomb of King Xiaowen of Qin or King Zhuangxiang of Qin.

In 2011, the cultural relics protection unit of Xi'an City conducted archaeological exploration of Hansen's tomb and found that the main tomb of Hansen's tomb faces west and east. It is in the shape of an "Asian" and has 4 tomb paths and 5 burial graves around it. Judging from its shape, Han Sen's tomb should be a tomb of a prince of Qin.

There is a huge gap in strength between father and son

Han Sen's tomb was built on a small earthen tableland, with a height of 22 meters and a vaguely recognizable shape. Standing under the tomb, you can overlook Bailu Plateau. In 1956, Han Senzu was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi.

Whether it was Qin Shi Huang's grandfather or father, Han Sen's tomb is incomparable to Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum. The Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang is the first well-designed imperial mausoleum in China. It is said that a miniature palace was built in the mausoleum according to the specifications of Xianyang Palace, symbolizing that the emperor still had power underground. It has been discovered that there are more than 400 burial graves of various sizes around the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, including the "Terracotta Warriors", the eighth wonder of the world.

"Historical Records" has an unimaginable description of the underground palace of the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum. It is not an exaggeration to have rare treasures and mechanisms in the tomb, but Sima Qian also wrote that in the tomb of Qin Shihuang, there were ever-lasting lanterns that lasted for thousands of years. The top of the tomb was painted with the sun, moon and stars that could shine in the dark night, and there were also mercury simulated rivers and rivers on the ground. Moreover, these may be facts, because mercury around the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum has been detected to exceed the standard, proving that there may be several or hundreds of tons of mercury underground.

The tomb is just a sleeping place for people after death, and it is unnecessary to enjoy it. After Qin Shihuang unified the six countries, his strength increased greatly and he mobilized the entire country to build large-scale projects many times. Although the Great Wall and the Qin Zhi Road are of practical significance, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang and the Afang Palace can only highlight the emperor's extravagance and extravagance. Whether it is beneficial or not, building these projects requires tyranny and enslave the people, which reflects the cruelty of feudal society. But these relics also show China's peak culture and art, and are precious skills written with blood and tears by craftsmen from great countries.
