Recently, Han Dynasty tombs have repeatedly dominated the local hot search lists in Xi'an, from the Han Dynasty bronze mirrors unearthed some time ago to millet from thousands of years ago. No, the news that cinnabar, hematite and other suspected alchemy materials appeared in ancient tombs of the Han Dynasty in Shaanxi has once again made a hot search. However, these unearthed cultural relics have one thing in common, that is, they all come from the Dabaozi Tomb Group. Tomb without owner in the Han Dynasty
There is a Han Dynasty tomb in the northern suburbs of Xi'an City. This tomb has always been unknown, and no one has even decided who the owner of this tomb will be. Some people speculated that this was the tomb of the Crown Prince of the Han Dynasty, and others speculated that this was the tomb of Wang Mang's uncle, Wang Feng. However, there was no real basis for either guess, so this ancient tomb was named Gaotiezhai Han Tomb based on its geographical location. Gaotiezhai has nothing to do with high-speed rail, but is a small village with quite a history. Nowadays, with the development of the city, the village has disappeared, leaving only this unknown Han tomb.
Ming Dynasty Shi family ancestral tomb
The Han tomb in Gaotiezhai has a bucket shape in appearance and has a circumference of about 400 meters at the bottom. It is a typical tomb of the Western Han Dynasty. After research by archaeological experts, it was found that the Han tomb collapsed around, with the southwest corner and the center of the top slightly incomplete. In 1982, several tomb chambers were exposed here, and a large number of pottery, bronzes and five-baht coins were unearthed. These can show that the owner of this tomb is of a prominent identity. As for why this tomb was not excavated in depth, we still don't know who the owner of the tomb was. People who have been here can't help but be curious. Everyone says that this is a Han tomb. Why is there a stone tablet engraved with the words "Shi's Precious Tomb Records"? According to records, during the Ming Dynasty, the Shi family settled in Gaotie Village, so this was once the site of the Shi family's ancestral tomb. Shi's descendants erected this stone tablet in 2006.
Gaotiezhai Han Tomb Relics Park
Now people have restored this dilapidated tomb. In 2017, Gaotiezhai Han Tomb Site Park was built on top of this tomb site, and this Han tomb was included in a key cultural protection unit. The surface of the tomb is covered with green plants and surrounded by railings, making it a Han-themed cultural street park for daily activities of surrounding citizens. The Yuefu Poetry Column, Han Yi Corridor, Changge Terrace and other landscapes in the park enrich the Han cultural elements in the park. The combination of fresh natural scenery and profound cultural accumulation is important for enhancing urban cultural taste, inheriting historical culture, and improving the urban environment. important significance.
Spring is when flowers bloom, and Gaotiezhai Han Tomb Ruins Park has undoubtedly become a good place for parents and children to travel and relax during weekend holidays. The Han theme culture and high vegetation coverage make it a comprehensive cultural park integrating site visits, leisure and fitness.
