In June this year, I took ten-day wedding leave from the company, went home three days early to set out drinks, and stayed at home for another three days in accordance with custom, leaving only four days of honeymoon. After discussing with my wife, I finally decided to go to Xishuangbanna for a honeymoon.

Because time was tight, the strategy was not detailed. My cousin happened to have been to Banna and told me about the attractions and hotels there. In order to save trouble, I booked the hotel she recommended-Xishuangbanna Yunmeiting Inn. I was pleasantly surprised after checking in. Near the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Menglun, it is surrounded by mountains and the air is very good. The hotel's style has a strong Dai style and also has the shadow of a tropical rainforest. Especially when you open the window, the view is open, with green mountains and blue colors. It looks like it is covered in clouds and fog, and I am in a good mood.

If there is only one attraction to visit in Xishuangbanna, it must be the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Menglun. This botanical garden is divided into several districts, including the tropical rainforest area. There are exotic flowers and flowers everywhere. The air is so good that friends who like all kinds of exotic flowers and grasses will definitely like it here.

The tropical rainforest area is densely covered with trees, flowing streams, dripping springs, and green trees rise into the sky. I just want to close my eyes and breathe there and enjoy this gift of nature. Of course, Wangtianshu is also going. It is the only tropical rainforest recognized by the world in China and the only oasis on earth at 21 degrees north latitude. The biggest attractions in the Wangtianshu Scenic Area are the crown corridor and glass corridor, which are corridors suspended in the air, which is equivalent to walking in a tree. It is recommended to take the crown corridor, which will be a lot exciting.

What attracts me most about the primeval forest park is the forest coverage rate in the park, which is 98%. The natural oxygen bar is no longer fake. Almost everything you can see is lush and green. What attracts my wife is the flying peacocks inside, and hundreds of peacocks fly into the sky together. The scene is quite spectacular.

There are elephant performances and many performance events in Manting Park. However, since we have been to the Wild Elephant Valley and watched elephant performances, there is not much novelty. On the contrary, the Mekong River Bonfire Party at night was very high and very relaxing. Not bad. But if you take children to Manting Park, the children will like it more.

We also went to Mengle Dafo Temple. I heard that it is one of the three major scenic spots in Banna and an important place for Buddhist activities. The architectural style and statues inside are quite shocking. The last attraction we visited was the Keno Mountain Village. This is the last certified distribution center for the Jino ethnic minority in China. It is an important window to understand Keno culture, but it feels relatively commercial and the tickets are small. If you don't have a strong desire to understand ethnic culture, it is not recommended to go.

Overall, the three days of vacation in Xishuangbanna were quite worthwhile, especially the tropical rainforest and the Yunmeiting Inn where we stayed. We had a good experience. To borrow my wife's words, although this honeymoon trip was not too sweet, it was still very sweet!
